Title: 🔥🔥🔥I Created a Arbitrage Monitoring Tool for Cryptocurrencies📢
Post by: Caulon on March 17, 2018, 10:11:36 PM
http://arbiswap.com/

The ArbiSwap arbitrage tool monitors 800+ coins on the most popular cryptocurrency exchanges... Binance, Bittrex, Bitfinex, Kraken, Poloniex and more... I designed it to disregard false arbitrage reports as much as possible by filtering out reported wallets under maintenance. It has a built in alert system that takes into consideration volume as well as the wallets under maintenance and the potential profit. I tried to provide as much info as possible so if a user finds a deal worth while they can pull up the amount of volume traded in the past 24 hours and a historical arbitrage chart.

Looking for current suggestions and feedback from the crypto community. I am trying to create the best arbitrage system for cryptocurrency. My system is great at finding deals I am not here to sell it but to present it to the Bitcoin talk community. It checks for arbitrage opportunities every 5 minutes and the moment it passes our filters it is sent out to the user.

Nice try, but the crucial things are missing.
Can't give you advice unless you offer something good in return, this is business you're doing here - asking people for money in exchange for your service. Best of luck though...

you have made a very good tool, but as long as you do not inspire confidence among future users, you can not count on success. this is an excellent mechanism, but before buying a subscription, it is better now to provide a trial period for certification in the competence of this tool. We will wait for changes.

The free trial is set up through paypal. Also SSL is overrated it's not needed it is something hosting companies try and sell you but it does not add to security in any way as far as my site goes. We don't store any user data or accept credit card payments so that is what SSL is for if you got that notification.. I agree it is wise to add it for people who want Google to tell them my site is safe.

Hello the free trial is set through Paypal...it can be canceled anytime during free trial.

Your asking PayPal in a Bitcoin community? and your service is about cryptocurrency and your asking for PayPal? that's really weird.

I am open to accept crypto I have already done a few manual transactions and let members know they can contact me to set it up also most people would rather subscribe through Paypal because it is trusted and easy to use. Crypto still needs to develop the basic tools needed for people to operate online businesses. It's coming but not ready yet.

Thank you and it is set up for free trial...whoever was subscribed what have gotten this alert....

The system is good at finding deals... anyone can check right now and see that the system found an awesome deal. Anyone can see this alert was sent out 24 minutes ago and still the arbitrage opportunity exists... https://www.binance.com/trade.html?symbol=LRC_BTC .46 and https://bittrex.com/Market/Index?MarketName=BTC-LRC .55.

Not bad to pay a small monthly fee for this right? You would have made $1000 from a $5000 investment in less than an hour.

I'm hoping the same thing, this would really be a perfect tool in my view which it do filters out those wallets which are on maintenance. This is indeed a useful thing for us traders but all of users commenting on here is really opposing with that Paypal thing. You should remove that one and give a free trial period and people would decide if it would really be worth or not.

The issue with that is it can be automated with Paypal and I am not a fan of accepting credit card payments...I will however look into adding ability to purchase via cryptocurrency. Other than that setting up a free trial with Paypal is not hard to do and user wont be billed if they cancel the subscription so it's not like monthly fees are hundreds of dollars or anything it's very cheap for the amount you can make from it as was the case last night. I do appreciate the feedback and people do want to pay for the service in crypto.

I'm not sure what you mean....you may be referring to arbitrage bots not working and my system does not deal in bot trading it just finds arbitrage opps and alerts people. It is however some work for users to see if the deal my system finds fits their own requirements as far as amount of volume traded and exchanges the opp is on. Other than that it is designed to be a monitoring tool. I just shown the alert from last night would have made investors 20%+ in a matter of hours it is not rocket science, the prices I posted can be tracked via charts. I made it easy for people to access my system for 2 weeks free of charge which is plenty of time to analyze my systems capability to find deals.

I will consider that looking into coinbase unless you know of any others that are popular? Also I have run online businesses since 2012 and have done thousands of transaction in Paypal I'm just use to it. It is #1 here in US but not sure about other places.  I appreciate your feedback.

Any other feature suggestions?

Due to time constraint and lots of transacting involved; I never tried to do Arbitrage trading.

I am very sure Arbitrage trading is not on the cards for the future too for me.

Yeah it is not for everyone because it is a type of daytrading...risks still remain. In most cases you have to act fast but I have seen them exist for up to 3 hours before for 30% gain. I have never lost doing it....was able to make 15% - 30% on average since I have a taste for the big ones! But MTL transfered in about 7 minutes time both times I did it and BTG  transfered 2 times for about 30 minutes to transfer but the last one took 3 hours but still managed to make around 15% on that one. That one was during a Bitcoin crash. But if you find a good opp and have cash available to trade you may want to try it...it is the easiest money ever made when you find a really good arbitrage opp.

Personally I like spreads of 15% or more and high volume and fast transfer coins. But like you said you have to act fast. But it is as simple as buying on one exchange and transfering and selling on another. If you get good at it you can manage to go from cash to bitcoin to buying and transffering then selling the coin in under 15 minutes.

When is this expected to come?
Because right now, the tool is pretty useless, because it's not possible to hide exchanges that I don't want to deal with and it's also not possible ot hide coins I'm not interested in. So most alerts (or all as of right now) are not interesting for me.

Hi, that's already under testing, a settings page where you can set the exchanges that your interested in. Also the minimum profit and delay between alerts once the testing is done I'll upload it. Should be soon, less than a week. Any other feedback?

Since my last post we added more exchanges and we also now accept cryptocurrency as payments.

Great to see progress, thank you for reporting back.
A settings page where a user can disable exchanges AND coins would be nice...

Here was an alert from yesterday... Everyone this system works great! I'm the developer it's not about selling but being proud of my system.

https://cdn-images-1.medium.com/max/800/1*WzcLUDGD6hpc1FF7uTAp9Q.png

Our users would have been able to buy ADX/BTC on Bittrex for $1.19  and transfer to Binance and sell it for around $1.47... a nice 20%+ profit and the opp lasted about 45 minutes. Over $50 million in volume was traded on ADX/BTC alone and most of it during the arbitrage alert....

https://cdn-images-1.medium.com/max/800/1*4_M7O1xV8ItuSFipsmeD4g.png

Also it is a common misconception that one whale can eat up all the volume himself... https://medium.com/@chasarcaulon/why-arbitrage-spreads-occur-in-cryptocurrency-and-how-to-trade-them-like-a-pro-51869422c5d5

Hello
Where do you take transaction time between exchanges?

Not sure what you are asking but it depends on each coin but most ERC20 transfer in less than 7 minutes which accounts for 90% of coins. Exchanges have gotten a lot better with transfer times.

you have to add the transaction costs and the withdrawal costs of the exchanges to monitor potential price differences.

The platform tells you at the moment an arbitrage opp occurs which exchange to buy and which to transfer to to sell. That acts as a bid/ask price. It is not like your average arbitrage system it is designed for cross-exchange

Can you explain how can last price be used as bid/ask? I wouldn't call it accurate pricing. e.g., what if the last price of $7,000 was for 0.001 BTC, yet the next bid price is $6,500?

If I were you, I'd consider polishing that before presenting misleading info out to the public.

Title: Re: 🔥🔥🔥I Created a Arbitrage Monitoring Tool for Cryptocurrencies📢
Post by: Caulon on August 29, 2018, 07:26:44 PM
How is that misleading info? It's just the best way we feel will help people participate in arbitrage opps cross-exchange and we don't even use the last price ..works just like regular bid/ask only the Buy From exchange would be the bid an the Sell On exchange would be the ask. It's designed this way because it calculates the most potential profit that way. When an alert gets sent out it is up to the user to observe the bid/ask prices between exchanges to see if the deal is something they would act on. They can use our alert filters for volume and exchanges to help them make proper decisions. It's designed to help people act fast. Also calculating the Bid on the cheaper exchange and sell on the other is the best way to spot breakouts because they are being pushed up on one and the other hasn't caught up yet. The volume alert setting alone would eliminate most of what you call as misleading info because huge spreads between bid/ask only happens on low volume exchanges.

It's main purpose is used to detect pumps and alert users to the arbitrage opps created as they occur. https://medium.com/@chasarcaulon/why-arbitrage-spreads-occur-in-cryptocurrency-and-how-to-trade-them-like-a-pro-51869422c5d5

Anyways your a competitor I am not following you online posting on your threads so have some respect please. I designed my system the best way I feel helps people arbitrage that's all.

Can your tool determine a potential profit by automatically calculating the fees which a user will face when buying in one exchange and selling in another?
If not, then your app is the same as many other similar tools.

What you mean with bid/ask book? Its clearly stated or shown on its buy and sell price. What you do seek on?

@KingScorpio
This should be added because this is one of the factor that will affect profitability but well fees nowadays was just too small this is why withdrawal fees should be the concern on here.

My opinion that the development of services like this + overall market maturity = will lead to decreasing of spreads for arbitrage trading (as more and more people will be involved trying to catch higher spreads).

Okay, but we both know that most altcoins are illiquid, therefore the highest bid and lowest ask wouldn't make much sense to consider. If i see an arbitrage opportunity between binance and hitbitc for 1%, my BP (buying power) is $10,000, I go out and buy the altcoin at Binance... take it hitbtc to find out that if I was going to sell 10k worth of altcoin,  in reality I wouldn't be making that 1%, because the size of the highest bid is only 0.1 BTC, the rest of the bids are irrelevant due to higher pricing.

Majority of newbie traders would fall for this trick and cry all over your thread because the info you displayed wasn't accurate.

My opinion that the development of services like this + overall market maturity = will lead to decreasing of spreads for arbitrage trading (as more and more people will be involved trying to catch higher spreads).

I believe the inter-exchange arbitrage market may have the most competition. So many people using bots to make 1% at any given time but the cross-exchange arbitrage opportunity you have an average of $50 million to $75 million from my research https://medium.com/@chasarcaulon/arbitrage-alerts-for-cryptocurrency-spreads-in-real-time-c982c1f63a8b that are pumped into these coins in a matter of minutes which leaves room for thousands of people to profit from. It's smart to just risk a certain amount so I stick with 7k - 40k. It does not hurt me at all. I can only handle getting so many orders filled by myself therefore it's enough for me... so people trade with various amounts it's still enough opp for everyone it's a competition whoever can act the fastest pretty much. But I never lost on any. It's more of a casual thing for me. If I happen to get an alert when it happens and Im ready I'll do it.

-snip-

you have to add the transaction costs and the withdrawal costs of the exchanges to monitor potential price differences.

What you mean with bid/ask book? Its clearly stated or shown on its buy and sell price. What you do seek on?

My platform is not designed to be like any other and it is more of simply alerting you to watch a pump on one exchange and showing you the other exchange hasnt caught up yet... So by using the Selling exchange Ask price it will inform them quicker vs if I used the Sell exchanges Bid price. Because it will reach the % they selected to receive alerts faster. Therefore lets say you set an alert for IOTA/BTC at 5% arbitrage opp...by using the Ask for Sell exchange it triggers faster. And more than likely a lot of these end up pumping to 20% to 100% in some cases. So the platform is designed for speed and triggering alerts faster than other systems. If I used the Bid for Sell exchange it would trigger much slower by seconds or even minutes which make a difference.

It is smarter than using the Bid price for the Sell Exchange if you think about it because of that. My system is designed for homeruns more than anything I only become interested in price spreads of 7% or more and I don't give financial advice because I cant but if I could I would want my users to follow my strategy because it works for me. Anyways good luck with your system, we are all humans that think differently :) I have good feedback and helped some people make a lot of money so Im satisfied. Another good thing is I had a user tell me they use the system as a pump alert and they do not even bother transferring to the Sell exchange because they caught the pump and like I said if you set alerts at 5% sometimes they go up so fast it's worth just selling it on the same exchange.

Okay, in regards to speed and efficiency of the signal ...I can see where you coming from. however, if the selling exchange is liquid enough, it would make no difference which price you choose, unless of course there is a huge gap in spread.... and that usually indicates that the spike in price is artificial.

You kind of dodged my question about "SIZE" though...If I receive an alert from you to sell 1 BITCOIN on gate.io at $7,000 @ ASK, though the highest bid is only $6,700.. don't you think you would be delivering misguided signal?? Of course there are plenty of shitcoins on binance that regularly pump and dump even up to 100%, but unless you're using a moonbot, you'd NEVER be quick enough to able to manually make that trade. When the pump takes place, it usually lasts a few minutes... so again, I don't think that you've provided real live use case.. its sounds more like WISHFUL THINKING.

when someone says "I have good feedback and helped some people make a lot of money so Im satisfied" its usually the opposite... no offence though.. besides advertising here...i hope you made this thread with intention to receive some constructive feedback.. so there it goes

The best defence is offence...https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2889097.msg45009540#msg45009540  I listed reasons and pointed areas where you should focus your attention. It obviously needs improvement.

There're plenty of places on the web where you can advertise, and none will say a word. You've misinterpreted the idea behind this forum's purpose. We come together to share opinions and deliver critical feedback.. so that we can further improve our projects. A good tool-author of fellow, it remains only to check how it works. I support the idea that you need to first test the system, try it in your work, for example a few days for free. If everything is ok and the tool works fine - already buy a subscription for use. It is very important in the market to be prepared for different changes.
