Today i reviewed Coinmarketcap and found that due to falling BTC price top 50 Altcoins are also falling and are red for last 24 hours.BTC king of crypto World and the entire crypto world is dependent on BTC.Its mean that growth in BTC is the growth of Altcoins and vise versa.What you think.

Yeah, I think they are connected if bitcoin is increasing altcoin are also increasing because to my own theory if you are living in the country only you can exchange is bitcoin you must convert your altcoin first to bitcoin before you exchange them into fiat.

I don't know the other reason, but this is my own theory that is why the price of altcoin decrease every time the price of bitcoin drop.

Yes that is true alcoin also falling down when BTC price down but not all altcoin may be 80% of all altcoin affected the Up and down trends of bitcoin because bitcoin is a coin base in cryptocurrency it is normal that altcoin movement affected the movement pulse of bitcoin.

Absolutely true.When BTC price escalate other Altcoins also show same behavior. Altcoins are correlated with BTC.BTC is the coin marke champion,if champion do something great obviously there will be pleasant effect on rest of the team.2017 was breakthrough year for BTC and all the Altcoins grew a lot during 2017.

Yes, they are connected with BTC king all altcoins are depended on bitcoin price when bitcoin is dropping in the market also followed by altcoins even the ethereum base coin or token they also dropping the price but I saw not all are colour red there are other coins in the market cap is green. Not all are affected by price decreasing of bitcoin, and hopefully, by next 2 months it will raising back again.

BTC is absolutely linked to subunits. it is impossible to think independently of each other. The fluctuation in any one of them affects the whole system. for this reason the bit should be considered as a whole when investing.  ;)

yes, that's exactly what happened to the case for the umpteenth time again. perhaps, there must be an innovative altcoin to be a bitcoin competitor in order for the market to be balanced. the current decline is due to many factors, and lastly the google ban for crypto ads. has not been proven to be a bad effect, may not even have any effect, but the panic is increasingly becoming ultimately creating a back drop.

Recently you may have noticed that the increase of ALT coin’s value is highly correlated with the increase of BTC and vice-versa. Let’s add the USD to the ratio where ALT/BTC is also ALT/USD / BTC/USD. If people are buying more bitcoins then they are increasing the BTC/USD value. But since ALT is also rising, it means that BTC is also traded to buy ALT resulting in an increase of ALT/BTC which can also be translated to an increase of ALT/USD. The opposite is also correct, the decrease of ALT/BTC and BTC/USD together is a result of a quick sell of both BTC and ALT.

You notice an increase of ALT/BTC and a decrease of BTC/USD. Simple math, ALT/BTC ratio would decrease if:

Similarly, ALT/BTC ratio would increase if:

- BTC value decreases (i.e., BTC is cashed out for USD or other currency or traded for ALT coins)

Yes I am completely agree with you that all altcoins follows Bitcoins because I believe that Bitcoin is the mother currency of all crypto currency and you can seen when bitcoins made life time high at 21000$ level and stayed there, all altcoins also made their life time high as well and then bitcoin fallen to 6500-7000$ level mean almost 70% fall in bitcoin, all altcoins also fallen almost 70-80% from their highs.And the bitcoin is the parameter to watch the market , people see most on bitcoin for market trend.

In the past, the price of bitcoin decreased while the price of altcoins increased. Now the price of both falls. Investors will not laugh as long as the downtrend continues.

yes, that's right . I think the rise and fall of bitcoin prices is very influential with the price of altcoin, because the first  coin in crypto is bitcoin so, bitcoin rise it will have a good effect for altcoin as well as vice versa.

Most of the transaction in altcoins are traded to bitcoin so if the price of btc will dip, the price of alt coins will also go down. It is very normal because the king (BTC) is the first coin that will get affected of the bad news in social media and in supply and demand. Most of the coins depends on bitcoin because it is easier to exchange it to fiat. But now I think Etheruem price will also hit another peak because in my country, we can also trade ETH to fiat in an instant.

It is because, some of the altcoin their budget is Bitcoin, during their ICO a way to purchase their token is by buying it with bitcoin or other top cryptocurrency. This is why when bitcoin and other top crpto is down they're also down.

What the! It is trully shocked when i look the price of all cryptocurrency , in last week the price is still good. But this week the price is really low. How can this happen? But i think the cryptocurrency will not have a good performance. But i believe that soon it will be rise up again. All coins even the btc are going to red it is sad

Bitcoin and altcoins are probably correlated with the other and that is what usually happens. If bitcoin goes up, then altcoins also goes up and vice versa wherein I think bitcoin is the baseline for whatever market movement it will take. However, due to volatility in both btc and altcoins price value is uncontrollable and that is a fact to whatever is happening in the crypto market.

It really depends on curreny trend of market. Now all market is green, BTC growed for 8%... But in my opinion - it is a trap and BTC will go down again soon.

To buy Altcoin one need to buy bitcoin and all altcoins are purchased from btc only, so if btc price will fall that means people are not buying Altcoin and price will go down.

I am fully agree with your thinking that howl crypto market follow bitcoin price. Whenever bitcoin drops all altcoins also follow the bitcoin and start dropping and vise versa.

According to me BTC Is the king of Altcoins, the price of Altcoins will depends on the BTC. i have observed most of the time if the BTC increased the Altcoins also increased and if BTC is decreased the Altcoins also taken down trend. Some Altcoins slightly different.

They are all based in bitcoin so they called ALT of bitcoin. So, the expected price will affect on altcoin it depends upon the movement of bitcoin.

The two cryptocoins are good to invest with. It is more advantage if you invest bitcoin because for now it is the top cryptocurrency right now. But if you can see the price today, btc has falling and falling this past few weeks and altcoins goes up. It just like vice versa ; when altcoin goes up the btc goes down. And hopefully altcoins can go straight with its highing price.

You right man, Bitcoin is the King of Coins. When bitcoin fall 20% + all market will fall down when bitcoin go up all market go up. When "put random name" Altcoin fall down or increast by 20% Bitcoin stay stable. This is the reason also why btc dominance it's around 40% on market cap, while on ATH was around 30%.

Indeed because most of the altcoins are their prices are being paired with Bitcoin and it's normal that when Bitcoin drops, then almost altcoins are dropping as well.
There is one coin that do help save investors and traders' assets - USDT Tether and it's role is always being paired by USD and nothing more. It's price range only lying on USD price range so Bitcoin will only do affect altcoins price value except Tether USDT.

Every alternative coin has their own dollar value, and i don't know where they are getting it.
there is 2 most used coin in trading ETH AND BTC..
and ETH are also depending on the price of bitcoin,
And bitcoin is the only currency which really has dollar value in any market.
SO it is! all coins and tokens are depending and connected to btc price.
