In my country, you can't buy anything with any crypto currency. We can't even convert our crypto to fiat directly because Govt has stopped crypto trading. That's a great idea but sad to say as of now no country has ever offered to accept bitcoin as a payment for buying gold or silver. It's not a trend nowadays and no one is starting it yet. My country doesn't approve crypto. So we can't buy anything with it. There are some peer to peer platforms which are being used to buy Bitcoin from fiat now. So buying anything with crypto is out of the equation.

I don't try to buy gold and silver in bitcoin, but I think it's a very simple thing. It's like going into a shopping site. If you're worried about security, you can change bits into dollars and buy gold on a professional website.

Only few establishment that are accepting bitcoin as mode of payment for any purchase of goods and services maybe because bitcoin transaction speed is still under developing stage, but we can buy anything from our bitcoin asset by converting it first into our local fiat.

Why not if someone accepts it as mode of payment. Currently, there not much of entities or individuals that may do that. They know the risks involved in cryptocurrency is a lot higher than with that of gold so they tend not to deal much with it unless otherwise they are one of us, believers of a more advanced future, decentralized world.

Bitcointalk has marketplace section, where anybody can buy and sell anything! Therefore, To Buy Gold and silver with bitcoin, you can find some websites through searching on google. But I would suggest you Buy from this forum with an escrow service. That will be safe and secure.

Yup there are some websites which allow people to buy gold and silver through cryptos. But I havent tried them myself, so I can't vouch for them. If you are still sceptical, then why not convert crypto to fiat and then buy gold/silver.

I'm sorry I disagree, I think gold and silver will still be present as long-term investments because they are precious metals whose value will continue to increase because of limited availability, other advantages of gold and silver are still the safest investments to date, Bitcoin only has characters like gold, because the supply is limited.

The only downside of buying smaller fractions of gold through these vending machines is that you pay a massive premium. 1GR bars some times come at a 25-50% premium which is insane in my opinion.

Maybe most of the premium comes down to the nice looking packaging and the polished bar itself? Great to hand over as gift, but a straight loss of value if you buy it for investment purpose.

why not ? cant you see and feel  that bitcoin is already popular worldwide ? That simply means there were now merchants that accept the use it in exchange for their services or goods .

We can basically find them mostly online but it is still rare to find a local store [ offline ] store that accepts bitcoin as payment gateway .


That is the best method to do for now  . we must exchange our cryptos to local currency first so that we can always buy whatever we like , anytime or anywhere .

Because gold is very good for investment in the real world, so if you sell/buy a gold with a third party without license from the state government it could be a fraud and you will lose your bitcoin then you don’t get your gold.
