Title: Digital money is cashless society
Post by: First77 on March 22, 2018, 08:43:51 AM
It is said now China is a cashless society. Use of debit and credit cards in shops/stores, online pay bills, shopping online.

Just like Bitcoin which does not have a physical presence, money/cash will not have physical presence in "cashless society/countries" where money becomes digital/numbers.

Money earned from the internet is known as digital/electronic money.

People who earn money from the internet, they get paid money in electronic form by payment processors such as skrill, perfectmoney, alipay, paypal, bank-wire transfers because online workers are worldwide.

How is digital money is your country ??  Bitcoin is a part of digital money.

The process has certainly begun and started to pick up steam. Transitioning over to a 100% digital money economy is a long way away though. I have spent alot of time in China and it is definitely not a cashless society. Most of the population does not even have a bank account, let alone not use cash. That said, the process is moving, but it will be a long one.

ATM is also part of the media that makes cartal money into digital money with the same value or price. In my country, for some big companies have been applying digital money with transactions through ATM.

I have long been against cash and try to use non-cash payment. I also use electronic money on the Internet.
Bitcoin is also a currency, but for now you can not buy anything for it. It is necessary to wait when bitcoin is legalized all over the world, we hope that this will happen

Bitcoin is a digital money so are many cryptocurrencies such as Litecoin. However, what you refer to as digital money is not really the digital money that many of us consider here. A cashless society does not really mean they are all using the digital money. The cashless society that you are also referring to here is still using the old fiat monetary system. What made it a bit different is that the fiat money that we have been using has now entered into a different phase with the advent of the internet, but still everything is fiat-based and not crypto. Paypal, bank-wire transfers, etc are not using digital money. They are using the old fiat money.

Another thing, china is a very huge country and is mostly populated by poor citizens who are still using the hard fiat cash as their money.

My part of the world in Africa is now understanding and gradually shifting to digital currencies. The use of credit cards, debit cards, paypal, bank-wire transfers, e-zswich etc is now known by 60% of the populace. But for complete cardless like bitcoin; only few people are aware about its existence and would take some time for many to adopt

In my country people also gradually pass to cashless payments, but cash still has not lost its popularity, especially for older people who are extremely skeptical about money on cards and purchases on the Internet. I believe that in the future the society will become cashless, as it is much more convenient, less costly and environmentally friendly option of payment. I think Bitcoin and the other crypto-currencies will be the locomotive of "cashless society" progress. Because it is digital money that has fully demonstrated what it cashless payments completely mean.

Digital money has become very beneficial since it improves one's discipline towards financial management because all of the transactions were recorded, you can keep an eye and will see how much you've spent on something. Not just that, it also provides convenience since there's no need to worry in bringing cash or lining up at ATM machine. The best advantage would be it will lessen cases of theft.

Digital money is definitely a form cashless society, because when you want to make purchases you either pay through a digital currency, credit card or through an Internet money transfer,so therefore digital money is really cashless society because you don't have to work around with cash to make transactions.

Now a days electronics money like ATM card, debit card, credit card and other card that can be use to buy goods and services are rising and use by people in every society but it doesn't really means that it already a cashless society since paper money was still the most easiest way in direct transaction of buying little things for daily needs.

In the future bitcoin can become the digital currency of the future and many people will use it to buy stuff. All that is needs is for it to be more stable.

Most of the people visiting foreign countries usually have  to deal with the literate urban community.    They rarely meet rural or illiterate population.  There is definitely difference in life style among literate / illiterate, rural / urban people.  When foreigners see most of the urban people using cards for payment they may misunderstand that all the citizens are using cards.
This may have happened with the OP here.  In India also it's true that urban people use card but very less population form rural people prefer or even know how to use payment via cards / internet.  A lot of efforts are needed in this direction.  Though the current Government is very much active and doing best efforts to promote cashless trading.  Within years definitely India will be cashless majority country.

For me digital money, is a cashless society, that would be the basis on how far we have transitioned from the paper money but also to the place in which we can really make the world a much more convenient place. Bitcoin has the power to do that, that cryptocurremcy can catapult and vault the rest of the cruptocurrency market for us to be able to make a dent in the future world. Once this is addressed then we can now have the bitcoin be the forefront of all this improvements

Various online stores are also very easy to find on various social media and websites. The transaction system has changed a lot since most people are busy with their work so online transactions are the best choice for many people. They use many systems, some use paypal, credit card, perfect money and the most become penomenal at this time that is digital currency like Bitcoin and Etherum. For me we are on the path of the conventional financial transaction system and toward the digital financial system.

Crypto currencies are more than the digital money,in current cashless economy we still need banks to do the transaction and they have more advantage than cash economy because they hold most of the fiat currencies of the world.
But cryotocurrency is different from that we hold the currency and we can do transaction when we want no restrictions or what ever so the real cashless economy is when all the people uses cryotocurrency in their daily life.

In my country they do not recognize ways of paying through digital money, it is illegal and unorganized, although a small percentage of people use this type of payment method.
I think it is time for full international exposure such as these digital financial transactions, such as bitcoin, especially with the adoption of some international companies in the internal banking and foreign banking.
Such transactions will make it easier and easier to pay online.

But for me, I like the idea of cashless society coz it's hassle-free.

This is one of the major benefits of Bitcoin. It supports growth in the economy since it helps transactions worldwide. One party can transact or transfer payments anytime and anywhere without the hassle of processing.

And Bitcoin cannot be counterfeited unlike the paper money that is easily to counterfeit and this fake moneys are widely spread in the world and it is hard to recognize if the money that you are holding is fake or not. This is one of the biggest advantage of Bitcoin "Non-counterfeitable"  :)

This is why banks are afraid of because its this is how they make money. Cryptocurrency makes this thing possible and I believe in the future better services will be made, but cashless society may never happen since fiat money will still intact and government will not allow fiat money to be replace by digital currency.

I'll be adding that Bitcoin and other forms of crypto currencies give us freedom to choose on what currency we want to use and what we want to do on our assets, unlike the paper money that is centralized and controlled by the government and mostly corrupt government, they can easily steal money from the people's taxes that they can not do with the digital currency. You're correct that cashless society will never happen on some parts of the world but on rich countries such as Dubai it is not impossible that they'll have a cashless society in the near future. 8)

The future would probably be a cashless society, knowing how Digital currency is now gaining great demand and popularity there possibility that this would happen. Not just a well developed country can adapt in this kind of system, in fact Zimbabwe which at their economic crisis came to overcome the challenge by adapting the cashless system. In this way, the people is freely trading without any intervention of government. Few years from now, we will be able to experience what a new kind of society we have through cashless system.

Bitcoin is a part of digital money.

There is no denial in this fact that people are getting entitled toward the digital and cashless money . Many governments including China and India has this goal to make their country cashless and totally free themselves from the "paper" thing . China has no doubt stayed ahead in this phenomena  every time . They have actually stood out of all the countries in the matter of progress in gadgets and technology . They know that the young generations seeks for something that is smart and reliable.

ATM is also part of the media that makes cartal money into digital money with the same value or price. In my country, for some big companies have been applying digital money with transactions through ATM.
ATM in a bank system is also made possible by fiat because it is commonly a transaction with the power of fiat within a transaction which is transferable through online basis. But the point is bank system is always passive in accepting the development or changes in the world of transactions and currency and it is a sure thing that bitcoin and cryptocurrency will be accepted by our society.

In my nation individuals likewise slowly go to cashless installments, however money still has not lost its prominence, particularly for more seasoned individuals who are to a great degree suspicious about cash on cards and buys on the Internet. I trust that later on the general public will wind up cashless, as it is substantially more helpful, less exorbitant and ecologically well disposed choice of installment. I think Bitcoin and the other digital forms of money will be the train of "cashless society" advance. Since it is computerized cash that has completely exhibited what it cashless installments totally mean.

In my opinion, the BTC option to become a currency to eliminate cash (a government's success) is not feasible. Cash is a very clear expression of the value of each nation's economy. bitcoin is going to greatness of technology. The main problem is the fluctuation and dispersed supply. It does not matter if the adjustments are made by the government, but the practical value to succeed with this option will be meaningless.

I have spent alot of time in China and it is definitely not a cashless society

After 10 years, how is Bitcoin in China ??
China is one of the very best country or much advance technology country. Most of the people in china are very hard working and they are very business minded people. Digital money is normal in every country, but in China, it is very popular. Cashless society is starting, let's hope it will continue.

although it will issue a statement in the ban of an ICO, but in the end china open with digital currency. They are a developed country and they certainly know what the benefits of digital currencies can be, especially Bitcoin. China is a country with a very large number of people, therefore China has a very good market share. When digital currencies can flourish in the country of china then it can also grow all over the world.

Money earned from the internet is known as digital/electronic money.

People who earn money from the internet, they get paid money in electronic form by payment processors such as skrill, perfectmoney, alipay, paypal, bank-wire transfers because online workers are worldwide.

Well, here in our country. Many people are still using cash in paying bills or in transactions but still I can see that many people are using the convenient way, through credit cards especially in only stores or online transactions. There is also an app that acts like a wallet, you can use this like a credit card and it is widely used here in our country. You just need to top up then you can use that money for online payments.

Most likely, Bitcoin is being use in trading in digital currency so that we can earn income and saves money for the future.

Credit cards is mostly common use as payments for the bills and shopping in the malls. In our country, bitcoin is just starting over several months ago and not that long where people are not yet aware that bitcoin is already actively in operation. I think, what is lacking in our country is the advertisement of crypto currency like bitcoin such that people would know about this kind of currency that can be use as payments.

About not going back. If the innovation is useful why not to use it? Very often a great invention looks awkward but finally it became a thing that changes the world. At first people may not understand it, some may even despise it but when it proves its efficiency it conquers. And it`s the possible scenario for all cryptos. Since its invention many people were kinda sceptical (and many still are like Bill Gates and Warren Buffet whose authority is very strong in business community) but now the situation has changed and it will continue to change.

True. A lot of countries have started moving on their way to cashless society, currently, there are countries who use digital money, but what about its safety? Digital money can lead to hacking right? It's easy to steal if it becomes digital right? I just cannot imagine a cashless society. Not all people have digital money and earn for it to have. These can be hard not only to the government but also in the society because they have to adjust for it. Even it has good advantage because you can keep it to you and no one can steal it when walking on the road but it is not more secure in the internet. It also hassle when you are just going to pay small amount that the transaction fee is high and even the price is volatile. We cannot spend it all the way without checking the price.

Money earned from the internet is known as digital/electronic money.

People who earn money from the internet, they get paid money in electronic form by payment processors such as skrill, perfectmoney, alipay, paypal, bank-wire transfers because online workers are worldwide.

more or less the use of digital cash has becoming popular nowadays especially to the people living in the city and to the teenagers. China has even a vending machine that serves drinks or instant foods by just scanning the QR code and paying it using an application
Yes digital currency means cashless society. But this will not happen near in the future as it is near to impossible.Fiat currency is used by each and every person in the world.Digital currency requires internet connection to get operated. But internet facilities are not available in every corner of the world. Many people also do not know about the digital currencies. Many people are illiterate and do not have any knowledge about the market and money.

Digital money is not the cashless society, because the physical currency gets a digital form. Here the currency is backed by gold and other sources. Cryptocurrency can be termed to be cashless society, because the backing is purely on technology and there is no need of a physical form.

Digital money in our country is not yet dominating since some of our areas are still far from the technology. Yet there are a large number of digital money user here and is still rising due to the technology improvement. I think that it would still take up some time for our country to be dominated and use the digital money as our main payment currency for buying products or such services. Bitcoin user has also increased here since some peope are really in need of financial income and have tried buying and holding bitcoin to earn money. By the way our country is Philippines.

Gradually the entire world is now shifting to the cashless system; not only in China. Even in Africa where most communities lacks internet facilities, they still manage  to reduce carrying bulky money by introducing mobile money system by almost all the communication networks, where the individual can send and receive digital money without necessarily having a smart phone. Again, the e-zwich, debit and credit cards have been fairly understood by many due to safety and faster transactions.
Bitcoin is can also be seen as a digital money and would no time be transacted worldwide

Increased use of digital money will affect the use of paper money I think. People will prefer to use digittal money because it is simple and no need to bring it to take place if you want to use it in large quantities.

I really think the use of blockchain is necessary but it does not eliminate the original money, ie paper money.
the government of a country will not directly allow, given the economy of the country must be with a mature calculation.

Obviously bitcoin and all other crypto currencies are the part of digital money. They all are virtual money, the money you can feel in your account, can see in your accounts but cannot touch it and now a days there is a era of virtual currency only because this type of currency is more safe , it’s transations are more confidential and moreover it is very hard to steal and yes we are living in a era where digital money is used in cashless society.

If there would be a cashless society there would be a possible centre strorage of all the possible account that may produce in that given time and it can be possible that if you will abide the rule they will use all the profit that you have for them to control you, and I guess thats not a good Idea and how about the third world countries? And less fortunate people, they will be isole if that will happened.

The case for small - as soon as possible to withdraw cash from circulation, which is already being done in a number of countries. Then each transaction will be automatically entered in the file-file of the buyer. Let's recall recent reports from the Internet: "Sweden can become the first country in the world to completely give up cash"

In a Cashless society services and commodities are exchanged for other commodities and services. so any change in the exchange rate of these services can be viewed as increase in value of one commodity or services and decrease in the value of another. so this can be interpreted as inflation with respect to a commodity and deflation with respect to another commodity. alternatively in a cashless society services and commodities can be exchanged for a common commodity such as gold. in this case gold can be viewed as a currency and any increase in prices relative to gold can be viewed as inflation.

The adaptation of the use of digital currency or electronic form of payment in my country has increased at a rate of 2% less than two years now.  But the awareness of bitcoin is currently low in my country. It is just a few are into investing in bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies.  With the electronic form of payment, we mostly use a system provided by the telecommunication companies in the country. The system is called the mobile money system... They manage the transaction process and set a limit at which people can transact services. There are a lot of limitations with the system. You can't make international transactions with this system.

What is money used for? It is a tool for trading with a standard set of pricing, so that it would be easier to measure the items being exchanged. Money is basically just printed these days. It can be printed anytime at whatever quantities that please the banks. However, commodities are actual goods. Commodities cannot just be printed as money. You can't print fish, cotton, or coffee. However there can be a surplus of a commodity, which causes prices of the commodity to go down, and a shortage which causes prices to rise. But as far as inflation goes, I would say there is none when it comes to commodities.

Everything is going digitalized, and even the "numbers" that we have in our bank accounts does not represent anything rather than just number and those numbers can be converted in cash if we need but we can't get all our money in cash because of the limits that banks have to withdraw daily/monthly/weekly.
Bitcoin is good because there is no limit if you have lots of money then you are lucky because you save bank fees a lot and the transaction time are faster especially comparing with weekends or holidays.

I agree with you that bitcoin is part of digital currency or money but it is not funtcioning as centralized system. As we all.know that bitcoin is decentralized and it has no stable value where it has volatility where we could take it as an advantagenin order for us to earn. In fact bitcoin is sometimes referred to as an investment. Just wonder why it became an investment and then take over and participate.

To be honest, we are already well into a cashless society. The majority of retail transactions are card/digital transactions in the most advanced markets. So the adoption of a blockchain based economy isn't really a stretch, as much as overcoming resistance and actually adopting a viable technological solution that works with the infrastructure in place (POS, and existing web shopping carts).

Yes indeed. Being cashless is cool and innovative but i dont think all people can relate to it, i mean not all can use it because there were also poor country which composes of poor families that do not have access to computers and aside from that they do not also have a proper knowledge to understand and operate these cryptos.

I guess cashless society is only possible to some countries that has a better way of living and of course countries that also accepts and legalize the use of cryptocurrency.

Yes, I think that's good. China is the largest digital currency exchange place, unfairly if people there do not participate in promoting digital money as a means of payment.
In addition, the government and central bank realize the importance of digital money as a means of payment for the future and would be better for bitcoin development if some Asian countries are also implementing the same thing as in China.
In my country, Banks still refuse bitcoin to be used as a means of payment but our state government does not really prohibit the use of bitcoin especially if it is only for online shopping.
In my country there are several places to eat, shops, restaurants, yoga places, and hotels that accept bitcoin, and there are bitcoin ATMs that can be used if you want to buy bitcoin in cash.

that China is already a cashless society. Because there are still areas there that use paper money.
Even on the capital of china, they still use cash there.

Digital money in our country is pretty much the same with china.

Yes, it obviously is but it is too volatile which is what makes it a no no in becoming national currency.

The cashless society that you are also referring to here is still using the old fiat monetary system. What made it a bit different is that the fiat money that we have been using has now entered into a different phase with the advent of the internet, but still everything is fiat-based and not crypto. Paypal, bank-wire transfers, etc are not using digital money

Bitcoin cannot be counterfeited unlike the paper money that is easily to counterfeit and this fake moneys are widely spread in the world.  Few years from now, we will be able to experience what a new kind of society we have through cashless system.

Well for me it is better to spend money through bitcoin because it is cashless and it is easy to be paid like a credit card that you dont have to bring money more for your paying. And it is also safe for the thieves because you did not bring money that can catch the attention of the thief. I hope this would apply in my country.

I concur with you that bitcoin is a piece of advanced cash or cash yet it isn't working as concentrated framework. As we all.know that bitcoin is decentralized and it has no steady esteem where it has unpredictability where we could take it as leeway with the end goal for us to acquire. Actually bitcoin is at times alluded to as a speculation. Simply ask why it turned into a venture and after that assume control and take an interest.

Yes it is but for this to happen there is a very long time to go.Although there are many people using these digital currencies but still a large percentage of people do not know about digital currencies and hence cashless society. There are many complications in using digital currency.Firstly you require an internet connection to operate the digital currencies. But internet connection is not possible in every corner of the world. These are also not centralised so they are not backed by central banks and governments. They are risky too.

At this point, it is almost certain that cashless society will have very little to do with bitcoin or another pseudo-decentralized cryptocurrency.
For central banks, bitcoin and other blockchain-based digital tokens are poor imitations of FIAT money.
Currently almost nobody prices goods in bitcoin, we have only a few companies, merchants which use crypto for payments.
Cashless future will be really dark for us, it will be centralized hell - current cryptocurrencies are not even close to the concept of total control future regulations are cooking for us.

Yes digital money has become very useful because it improves one's discipline towards financial management because all transactions are recorded, you can keep an eye on it and will see how much you've spent on something. Not only that, it also provides the convenience of not having to worry about carrying cash or queuing up at ATM machines. People are also gradually turning to payments without cash, but cash still has not lost its popularity, especially for older people who very skeptical about money on cards and purchases on the Internet.

There can be no store that receives payments with bitcoin in my country because it can be revoked by the government business permit. Even paying with a normal credit or debit card is taxable enough to strangle some stores. I've been shopping for everyday needs using my debit card but I have to pay taxes that I think are pretty high. It is still difficult in my country to transact online.

Same in oir country, and I think our governments think the same. Cashless society in our country doesn't seem so easy to implement due to the fact that the percentage of people who doesn't know and possesses any gadgets in our country were still big in numbers and I guess it will be hard for them to adjust if this will be implemented, awareness is the key as well as the better education.

In Indonesia, digital money is welcomed by the public. While not everyone in our country understands the world of cryptography, many lay people and middle-class entrepreneurs use bitcoin as a means of payment. Most of our people buy bitcoin through ATM, they do not use bitcoin as an investment tool but as a means of payment, as well as money transfer.
Although its use is still uneven, I think it's a lot better than people who buy bitcoin just to make a profit.

In my country, bitcoin is legalized but there are only a few people who know about it. There are Bitcoin ATM's scattered around which means it is recognized. Unfortunately, when you ask people what is bitcoin, there are only few who might get it right.
People are still skeptical about bitcoin because it is not that easy for them since they always want to be spoon feed and they don't want to try it by themselves. They will just start to use it if they will see it on the news that the media is telling a lot of good stuff about bitcoin which is not a good thing to practice if you are looking for a good profitable opportunity.

This is really a way to have a cashless society, because it will give a positive in our world if we have a cashless society, and if we simply depend on digital money, because we can simply use transactions and, depending on the Internet and not leaving our home, which can save a lot of time, so that we become more productive and less dependent on the state

Most of the people who own a bank account have debit/credit card and thats why most of the people are dependent on the card thats the reason most of the people often use cash. Almost all of the establishment are accepting credit or debit card through their payment.

It will take a lot before a country becomes cashless society. Iliterate people and the elderlies would find difficulty adapting with new technologies which could be a deciding factor before the government approve with this new system.

The idea is good as we might save trees for not printing fiat money but a lot will have to adjust in adapting to this new system.

Here in USA, its the same thing! We only use Credit and Debit card for the most part. It easy, safe for customers, if the card get stolen or lost you can quickly freeze that account. I like the transition from regular paper (fiat) currencies to digital currency, including Bitcions and other cryptocurrencies. But the decentralized nature of the latter prevents it from controlled by a centralized entity like a central bank and/or a government. I believe this has attracted more flak from governments around the world on the concept of cryptocurrencies going main stream. That being said, I believe in the near future all these negativity towards cryptocurrencies would change and it will be used by everyone around the world!

The elimination of cash is currently is not feasible. not everyone has (or can have) a bank account, a credit/debit card or access to electronic payment systems via a smartphone or computers. people cannot be forced to have or use these tools. Access to a debit/credit card might be denied to persons not deemed creditworthy. in addition, an economy entirely based on electronic payments is subject to disruption, including cyberattacks.

For me, in this era that has a technological world that is the future or money to become digital money like bitcoin and another cryptocurrency to become a cashless society. We all know that most of the people now are using a smartphone, and new technology that making our lives comfortable and its time to upgrade our money into a next level, creating a digital currency that making our transaction more accessible and faster it is a great way. Also, we know that this technology is changing too fast, so it is great to accept digital money even we need to upgrade almost everything regarding payment system but imagine that bitcoin and other cryptocurrency is legal and acceptable to all state, I guess that is much easier and cooler than the old one. :)

Digital money in my country now is picking up. Transfer of money home n abroad, not leaving the comfort of your home and payment of bills. It's quite picking up a good pace so as the people of the country. The issue here is the network, that is the internet that makes it work, sometimes transfers get to hang in the air and the banks will tell you they can't trade or help you. Aside from that it getting better. Bitcoin will do the same and better too if all necessary utilities are functioning.

China is one of the countries that prioritize the application of technology in various sectors, both education, trade and financial transactions. With the technology, at least they can save more money to rebuild their finances, especially in terms of transportation costs because every item they buy usually delivered to the home of the buyer.

However, the skrill, perfectmoney, alipay, and paypal, still have weaknesses, because their transactions, can not be done inside the house, they still need ATM machines or Counters to make transactions. Of course this is much different from what bitcoin has to offer, because bitcoin transactions can be done anywhere, even just with smartphones.

I think most countries now are working towards going cashless. I’ve already had days when I didn’t have cash in my wallet and I was still able to do (and buy) all the things I needed. I have a metro card for public transpo, then I just use my debit card for purchases. And with cryptos being more and more widespread now, we may not even need cards in the future. I’ve read articles about the high probability of us becoming a cashless society. With blockchain becoming so useful and technologies becoming simpler yet more powerful, we can certainly have a more digital lifestyle in the future. Are you ready for it?

Crypto currencies are extra than the virtual cash,in contemporary cashless economic system we nonetheless need banks to do the transaction and they have greater benefit than cash financial system because they keep maximum of the fiat currencies of the sector.
however cryotocurrency is different from that we hold the foreign money and we will do transaction when we need no regulations or what ever so the actual cashless financial system is whilst all of the human beings makes use of cryotocurrency in their daily lifestyles.

I have long been against cash and try to use non-cash payment. I also use electronic money on the Internet.
Bitcoin is also a currency, but for now you can not buy anything for it. It is necessary to wait when bitcoin is legalized all over the world, we hope that this will happen
Why be against cash? In my opinion, it is necessary to use the advantages of all types of money in specific situations. Cash is still needed by our society and they will not go anywhere in the foreseeable future. On non-cash forms of payments, our society is largely ready to switch, but not to digital money. For the introduction of digital money, namely the crypto currency, there is still a considerable time, because the states as a whole do not want to support them.

Bitcoin is not a real currency right now. But in the future I believe it can completely become a currency. It is difficult to remove paper money in the future so I think they will exist in parallel.

Naturally, it will be used widely but it does not mean that the society will become cashless. Fiat will live together with the cryptocurrency - paper money will never vanish.

I think with the help of digital money which is also known as electronic money the community is not just become cashless(without the use of coins and notes) but also become card less(no credit or debit cards). And because of this type of money the people who hold black money are getting decrease as every thing has a records that how much a person spend and is it according to his income or not and if not the income tax can take that person to their office.

It seems to me that the sooner the country goes over to crypto-currencies. The more developed it is to accelerate. New technologies introducing into real life make it up-to-date and fair.

I would have to say that a cashless society makes it easier for all of us because we do not have to carry cash or worry about withdrawing money from the bank or ATM. We can simply pay through our debit and credit cards. This is why bitcoin and other digital currencies should continue to rise. I think that it will make all of our lives easier, however, I am not sure if fiat will really be eliminated for good. What do you think?

It is said now China is a cashless society. Use of debit and credit cards in shops/stores, online pay bills, shopping online.

In few more years, i am sure that the world will completely turn digital and the cash transactions can anyhow reduce a lot and digital transactions can take their place.

Even in my country most if the developed cities have turned digital and does accept digital payments. However cash transactions will not completely vanish as they are the traditional means of payment.

Digital transactions gives us the ease and hastle free transactions to send money to the payee. Even that goes much quick and without any issues. Digital payments are much preferred now and mostly everyone is going for it.

Also the governments for some countries are trying their best to make their countries cash free and take a step ahead into digital payments. Hope that soon the globe turns digital so that they could also accept bitcoins and all other cryptos.

In my country, people who use non-cash are only a small part, Bitcoin in my country is still a minority and people are still comfortable using fiat money for daily transactions. We all know that Bitcoin is also a currency, but for now I still find it difficult to use it as a transaction tool. Need to wait when bitcoin is legalized throughout the world, we hope this will happen.

The transition from cash to digital currency is still far away even though the process is beginning to be felt, nowadays people still depend on cash to meet their needs, even though in some percent the need for transactions has already used debit and credit cards.

Probably in our country some of the stores are accepting digital money you only need is to scan the QR code or send money via app to buy and sell products and service. Very easy to shop and to choose what to buy on, no hassle on going on malls and stores. Probably this industry will surpass the value of the money or cash in every country. If that will happen probably that was the great tribulation, lol.

I think even though China already uses digital money as a transaction tool, but still the money is still the country's currency and not everyone in China don't because there are still many people's who use cash. This is like in any country including in my country. Indeed bitcoin also includes digital money, but still many countries have not used it as a transaction tool but must be sold first so that it can be used as a legitimate transaction tool.

Here in Philippines, we have some digital wallet such as coins.ph, gcash, and paymaya. Theres a lot of advantage if you have digital money. But of course, you cant buy goods if you dont have cash. There are more products and services that use cash than digital currency.

I think your money will always be safe in a digital wallet so you can go out, buy goods and even pay for transportation without the amount of cash in your wallet, also faster to transact using digital money than fiat.
When everyone will use digital money in the future, it will be very different from what we have now, there will be less crime

it's too early to say that the public needs more digital money than cash, there are still many transactions that require us to use cash rather than digital money. many people are not familiar with technology, so it takes a long time for people to know digital currencies.

Yes digital money is cashless society. With the new development in the technoloy money has become more online or in the plastic card form and the floating liquid money has decreased much in the society. People prefer online transactions more. Being cashless society there are many benefits like worldwide trade can take place easily and it will take lesser time also. Biggest advantage of cashless society is that there is no scope of counterfeit money. So cashless society means more overall progress.

They used it to buy online , buy physical and even paying on a restaurant. As i see, cashless society is our next era and i dont see any wrong about that.

Money earned from the internet is known as digital/electronic money.

My country is moving towards cashless society. But government has not allowed BTC  as legal tender while people are shifting towards it .So may be in coming years people start to use it for becoming cashless society.
Our society slowly moves towards digital world. And in this cryptocurrency like bitcoin help our society. Every one wants love cashless methods of shopping and in this time they also want a safe secure and trusted medium for their transaction. Bitcoin is perfect option for this and bitcoin is also famous for this kind of safe, secure transaction and bitcoin also charge less transaction cost. Because of this above features of bitcoin many online retailers and small business use it for their business purposes. Bitcoin also use for online tickets booking and hotel booking, for monthly rents etc.
