The total so far i have got is 0.12 PURK. and now i am getting my share from BR of 0.84. How is it possible to have 0-960 block producing 81294 purks at a block reward of 0.84? All so confusing. Your share is based on your hash rate in proportion for the entire pool when the block was found. The pay rate seems to be ok for me. It was just a pool frontend issue. I have received more than 40 purks in my wallet now. We can't control who creates nodes and discontinues them for whatever reason unfortunately. This doesn't affect anything. purkd still runs and operates perfectly. Solo mining you will have to wait for a while to get a reward, but you shouldn't have any issue with pooled mining as long as your configuration is correct. The reason I won't offer support, is because I'm not familiar with the entire code of ccminer, where as cpuminer-multi and cpuminer-multi-opencl I am. Once ccminer has been adjusted and optimised to mine Purk either by us or Truvot, we will link to ccminer as a supported app. Until then, we won't offer any kind of support on ccminer. You may have better luck with a cudaminer. I believe there is a boolberry cuda miner which "in theory" should work for Purk, feel free to give this a go and see if it improves... but as you know, as far as support goes on other miners that are not "approved" at the moment I won't be able to help.

We have been working on the final tasks on the Purk button and the API over the last week. The API, is fully tested and ready to go and we only have a few Qt/layout related tasks remaining as well as the implementation of a secure proxy for incoming transfer requests to the wallet from the button. Once that's done we will be preparing for release. Still looking on track for end of May/start of June. Regarding the main pool. We had to take the pool down again for maintenance yesterday. This was highly important as we'd been hearing reports of instability from miners and yesterday we witnessed ourself a number of sharp drops in hashrate on the pool and long intervals between finding blocks. We had to take action and believe this was the right decision to make. We've spent all day diagnosing the issues, which at first were not easily apparent. However, we believe we've caught a few of the major problems and "hope" this will be the end of a lot of the mining interferences on the official pool. Here's what we did: - Fixed an issue with validBlockTemplates when testing shares which was causing miners to timeout and disconnect - Implemented asynchronous sending of new jobs to miners after each scratchpad update. - Added a new configuration option to limit the number of iterations in vardiff - Fixed current miner hashrate reporting on frontend - Upgraded to a dedicated server to improve latency and response time - Sent all payments that were outstanding from yesterday As always, thanks for your patience and please test the pool and let me know your feedback. Looks like the miner itself has some restrictions for processors. The same settings on the computer with Intel core i5 8th (6 core) works just fine. The Xeon can't start mining. We are developers, we continue to develop each month, every month. We also market the coin each month with an available PR fund. YOU are the traders, not the devs, we can only do what we are doing, Traders do what they are doing and in effect, set the prices... There is absolutely no way of making exchange rates "comfortable" - if it were that easy - everyone and his dog would be doing it.
Also, before investing, did you take note the fact that Purk didnt have an ICO, pre-mine or funding stage? We pay for marketing and development as we go from the emission model and community donations. For people to think we would have HUGE budgets to throw at advertising campaigns at such an early stage - I would suggest need to do their due diligence a little more. It's also very unrealistic to think that the minute you invest in a currency that it will immediately make you money overnight or even in the space of a couple of weeks. Things will take time, IF it goes that way - we make no promises, all we can do is stick to our roadmap items, market with any available funds and progress the development of the coin - Rome wasn't built in a day...
