So i was thinking to test if technical analysis and trading strategies could be profitable with crypto. I would of course test everything with "virtual funds" first then move on to the real markets.

My question is where do i find the most trustable and high quality resources to teach myself? Are there any free or payed courses online? Maybe youtube channels or blogs that specialize in crypto trading?

Good initiative from you and if you're looking for any resources you don't need to pay there are many free online books or ebook about trading just be resourceful, a quick guidance you can found in videos or in youtube channel. Pay for your mistakes along the way and make your trade more worth your money.

Yes there is some payable books that you can read but I don't think they are worth the money to spent just for learning in trading. Nowadays almost all of you want to know about things is in the internet, you just have to know how to make researches.

There plenty resources to learn in crypto trading here in this furom and also blogs, youtube and other video you search facebook, but i think for me the best way is to earn your own reputation in trading is the best way to learn more and earn money.

Just learn from Google, there is a lot of information about Technical Analysis. After you learn, you must practice maybe with a little amount so it's can minimalize losing your money. Need a time and always practice so you can improve your experience. I'm also learning and I'm always losing until now  ???. When I bought the coin, the market is going down maybe because of bad news or maybe that's not my luck  :D

Try to open an account from trading site that allows you to create a demo account. Try visiting Whaleclub and BitMex. Make demo trades while self studying the trading process. If you grew your demo account to 3x to 10x. This is a good hint that you will have a profitable trade in live accounts.

There are many resources to learn crypto trading. BabyPips will provide you all the information regarding the basics of crypto trading. For advanced ways of understanding the flow of money, Wyckoff methods, order flow are good concepts. Then, to research various Altcoins, you can go through ICONOMI, which provides a list of approved coins. For all other stuffs or your queries there is an all time favorite service provider, GOOGLE.

For graphs and other stuffs there a certain sites that actually provide just only the information. I choose to pick it to choose what is the best suited trading site that i can use efficiently. They probably list all trading sites including the availability of a coins lists.

If you have the backgrounds or experience about trading stocks in the forex then you are good to go. Some of the crypto exchange have a demo on how to trade, you could use their product so I bet you could learn from them firsthand. But if you have no clue about all of this stuffs then you better read first because this is money what awe are talking. There are so many youtube channel that teaches on how to operate in trading if I was not mistaken every exchanging site have a demo on youtube how to trade in their sites. Just keep reading on this forum you will learn those post that has a thought regarding trading especially high ranks here, they are expected that much more knowledgeable in trading. Just make your own research on how to learn in trading don't wait for spoon feeding from others make your own decision as well.

This is a very broad question, not to answer it in a nutshell. First, you need to decide which instruments to trade. Then determine how much time you can devote to trading. At what timeframes, etc, etc.

You can get inforbetion about TA from any reliable forex course. There is a lot of information in the internet but the problem is to find something structurized that will gather everything you need in a single place. I advice you to take a look at babypips.com
There are also many forex brokers that have fiat pairs. You can try to open a demo account there to try yourself in crypto trading. They have only major pairs but crypto exchanges don't have demo version at all so it will still be a good choice to pracrice yourself.

And on Forex, and here the problem is one-too much information. Too many resources, gurus, channels, forums, etc. Life is not enough to explore. Therefore, you need to immediately decide exactly what you need.

I recommend you to find some blog and youtube channels that provide trading guide in your local language because if it will in your local language then you can understand smoothly.And read some useful post in this forum that helps also very much.

You will find a number of tutorial videos in youtube. In addition to that, you will find a plenty of books, articles and e books in the internet to rich your knowledge.

Try to study first about the types of candles sticks before you can learn about the actual trading. Then stype the type of signals when to buy and when to sell patterns for your first trade.

There is one that I'm actually following right now, that is called thechartguys. I think they will be re-branding, but right now that's their name. They have a site with online courses (paid ones), they offer signal alerts (also paid), and they have a YouTube channel, where they post on a regular basis both on crypto but on stock trades as well. They focus on technical analysis, and they videos are really good. They even have live trading sometimes, and you can see they are the real deal, and that you can learn a lot from them.

I'm still only paper trading right now, but I'm improving a lot with their resources.

Unfortunately, until now there are not much books websites have enough informations about how to trade cryptos, and most informations we get from cryptos market are just experiences passed by one another, so we have to learn by ourself and practice everyday to get more knowledge to stay in this market, nowadays, there are many sources of traders on internet, we can learn from that as reference documents and trade by ourself to get better in the future.

the thing we have to consider in crypto trading is fud game which will make the price will fluctuate wildly. for technical analysis skill we can learn as well as technical analysis in forex.

The best teacher is experience. Have you tried to monitor one altcoin and see how it moves?

I do that for three days and see how far it can go down and up. You are creating your own strategy by doing that. You cannot rely on what others will stay even if they are crypto analyst. It can always go wrong so better make your own to avoid blaming others.
Instinct could also make some changes with your trading capability. Better do it manual also instead of using bots.

Hi op if you want to learn some technical analysis and want to gain strategy, i think the good idea to start is to read some tips from the expert such blogs and etc and perhaps youtube is the right place to gain more knowledge 'cause most traders now sharing their knowledge through online . And also practice some basic technical analysis from others work so that you can obtain more idea on it which is how it works.

There are many resources available for learning the trading and investing in cryptocurrency. I will start from Udemy, Youtube, Social media sites like Facebook, and many other technical analysis courses like www.learntotradethemarket.com. Apart from the price action course, i have personally undergone many workshops which were taught by the big mentor like Vishal Malkan and Meghana Malkkans. let me know if you want more information regarding the resources to learn about the trading.

There are many tutorial that you can watch thru YouTube we're in they teach you how to trade alt coins. But the most effective way in joining trading is, you know how to read a graph that the most important thing that you need to learn before entering crypto trading.

I mean you can waste your time learning TA, it's not useful here and is only used by people to either try to sway the market to be bull or sway the market to be bear. No lines on a chart is going to predict what a HUMAN is going to decide to do with their coins. So I wouldn't waste your time with it, learn how fundamentals work, how the news effects the price (it works differently then you think), check gov regulation, etc. Those are the biggest things to know the impact of IMO

But then again, the crypto market could go every different way then you think. Be prepared to change and learn on the fly.

The course is not fully meant for crypto, it is made for forex. But forex and crypto TA shouldn't be different, no? Babypips covers a lot of material only in a few web pages. It's more like a summary and an introduction to the basic, not a really depth one, but it should be a good start.

You should have a lot of people on youtube share the way to deal with encryption and risk mitigation in the transaction, where there are quite a lot of people sharing it. So go learn it.

You are in one of the greatest places for that, bitcointalk has been as old as bitcoin and it has been providing with new information (good or bad quality) forever. I think you need to really memorize everything you read here, you can then go check reddit as well because that has a lot of promising information there as well and you can check cointelegraph for the coin of your choice or just learn whats new in the crypto world and so forth. However no matter how many places you check the biggest currently happening information will always be here, you need to check the topic of whatever you are interested and people will say whatever they think of it.

I do not recommend that you pay for any kind of course since those tend to be very expensive and most of the time they are very thin in terms of information, now we know that technical analysis can be profitable in bitcoin but I think it is a mistake to trade with virtual funds, at first it may seem like a good idea but once you realize that you lack the pressure that trading with real money brings you quickly realize how useless it is, this is similar to playing poker with virtual money, people are going to play very differently since money is not at stake and the same happens when you trade.

Finally I will recommended that you find a book by a famous author that is known as being a successful trader since there are many traders with books out there that have declared bankruptcy many times in their lives.

You should notice that it is not easy job. First of all learn about cryptocurrencies. There are many video clips, channels in youtube and literatures about trading, especially in cryptocurrencies market. You should learn about technical and fundamental analysis, always improve your skills and read all news in crypto world. Also learn literature of great traders as W. Gann, J. Livermore, G. Soros and other.

I would recommend Alessio Rastani , he is very good with technical analysis, covers different markets , not just cryptos. You could check out his youtube channel with same name.

I must admit that I have learned a few interesting things from his videos, but at the end of the day, he's still guessing and he still might be wrong. Think about it, why would such a person keep making videos instead of fully focusing on Bitcoin trading? There is a saying: if experts were really experts, they would be buying stocks, not selling advice. In this case Bitcoin. On top of that, what's the point of making people around you smarter? trading is trading in any market, there isn't any special kind for crypto only . learning basic technical analysis would help a lot , i recommend reading some books about that and avoid YouTube videos and gurus who will try to sell you " the magic strategy" no such thing exist . keep in mind , crypto market is very driven by "NEWS".

For me, if you really want to learn, this forum is a good source. Also, you can search all over the internet and watch tutorial videos on YouTube. The good thing about the cryptocurrency community is that there are so many people who are willing to share their knowledge and experience to everyone who wants to learn knowing that it can be difficult to be successful in this market, especially in these days dire times. It's a good thing that there are many reliable sources these days.

I am afraid there are no very useful and comprehensive sources where you might be studied how to be a successful trader or how to trade like a professional trader. Why so? Because trading is a very difficult activity which cannot be formalized fully like the mathematics, the physics. Moreover trading is changed constantly by reflecting the economic and financial situation, the people sentiment and many other circumstances.
Anyway  you can read any books describing the technical and fundamental analysis but it is simply basics of trading which will not make you a successful trader and another important thing that many methods which described in that books are obsolete and do not work now. If you really want to read something it would be useful to read books about the economics, the technical analysis, the fundamental analysis and the most useful book is about the money management. But keep in mind that the most important on trading is your own experience so do not concentrate on any learning sources and start trading to get your own experience.

Yes that is too much good but I think that you can find so many other resources which can also be too much effecting to become successful in trading. I think that this forum is also providing valuable information about different cryptos for investment.

Definately search for tips on this forum, there is a lot of reading in here from people much more expirenced in trading and you should find here answers to almost all your questions. You can also look for books on the internet and should definately research some projects.

In my opinion the best way to learn trading would be to stay in touch with traders who are constantly trading and learning that process. So they will share with you their experience and knowledge.

There is a saying that goes like this 'Those who can, do, those who can't, teach' and it is true, if a person was able to earn his money trading then there will not be any need to be sharing videos, this is also true for many of the books about trading, if you take the time to research the author behind a book you are reading, you will realize that many have failed at their jobs or even went bankrupt in the past.

This is one of the reasons, as if I needed more, of why I have a big mistrust in the trading industry, if you take the time to watch those channels that focus in financial news you will see that they are almost like one of those infomercials that seems to drag on forever, they are only trying to sell you something and whenever that happens you know they cannot be impartial about the results you can get.

The best resource is yourself and personal experience.  I would suggest getting some coins and start trading extremely small amounts and just keep going from there.  If the competition is all reading the same books they really provide you with no useful information.  Get in and get your hands dirty instead.

There will not be a free course that will help you to make money. Actually there are many investors who do not have much expertise in investing, but they still open classes to make money from people who have no experience in investing Crypto.

Ive learned trading in website's like google and youtube channels some videos are really throughly explaining it and some practical examples showing you how to trade. I think it's best for you to invest a small fund on actual trading rather having to pay in a virtual trading site cause it's really unnecessary but of course the choice is yours.

In my humble opinion, the most effective way in learning how to trade crypto is by communicating with fellow traders in cryptocurrency world. Especially to those who use scalping. Though I wouldn't advice now as a great time to start trading daily in cryptocurrency with the downtrend of the market. This coming september would be the best time to start trading daily. Prepare fully now and start trading with proper management this coming month. Read a lot of fundamental analysis especially from coindesk or in any other site like cointelegraph to have a big picture on the market.

Oh, internet has  so much to offer if you are just patiently searching for appropriate sources. I, myself started with reading stuffs online, watching youtube.. It really helps. Until I jpined some telegram groups, followed some crypto enthusiast  on twitter and they allowed you to join their discord groups but with fees.

If you want to learn for free, there's always Youtube to help you out, just type in the right key word and it will give you a lot of results to help you out so if I were you, I will write down those tools that we use in trading and search them in Youtube. Investopedia is a good site to learn the definitions of terms used in trading. Try also following twitter accounts and blogs of known traders as they share some tips on trading.

I think internet is the best place for learning about trading, there a lot of tutorial are present which can give you a very good information and trading about trading. You can also get tips from your friends who are good in trading and having a very good experience.

In terms of resources? We are now in technological era and resources in learning is not a big deal anymore. There are thousands way to kill a cat and it is your decision on how to make it as long as you will learn. There are online tutorial, videos and books available to your desktop and cellphones. Yes blogs can help and that includes YouTube channels and other websites… but mainly I think paid teachings are the best cause they will make out time to teach you a lot of things that can be of help when you start your trading. Or you can even go for offline. Just like the time I wanted to start forex trading, there was a forex trade lesson class that was being carried out by Alpari to help newbies understand how to trade forex and it really helped me a lot cause it was face to face and I had opportunities to ask questions and have ever hating made clear to me. 🙂

You definitely might find some of the paid stuffs for free on YouTube… YouTubers can’t charge you money rather they prefer to do all those things for free so that they can draw lots of viewers to their channel. But when it comes websites, they will probably charge you for some posts cause that’s how they make their one income. There is no any kind of need to specialize in crypto trading in fact there is not such a thing, just learn technical analysis from any book that was written by a reputable source and make sure to read and understand every single aspect of that book before you begin to trade, if you do that then you will have a chance to make profits in this market.

You don't need to take a course to trade because the course only teaches you the theory, if it's just a theory, you can learn it by self through YouTube or people's experiences

Follow crypto related news first. Then look for the Bitcoin movement. There is a great relation between Bitcoin and crypto. If Bitcoin goes down then sure crypto also follow it. The only fact is time. The difference is only some minutes or hours. But it must drop. So I ask you for using your own brain for learning. You can search and find crypto related sites for Signal. But most of them can’t provide you right signal. So if you want to make profit then first try for reverse. If they ask for put/sell then take it to call/buy. If they ask for call/buy then take it as put/sell.

I know I'm just some random person on the internet, but trust me - there is tones of money to be made trading crypto. If you're looking for resources, lots of folks here have given great suggestions already. I would put forth a slightly different kind of resource: a group of traders to bounce ideas off.

One of the cool things with crypto is that the folks in the crypto space are generally pretty technologically savvy, which leads to some pretty cool opportunities.

Of course there are many resources, we are able to read so we can read about trading and it will improve our skills of trading, now there are many websites available for us to make good amount of trading, it is new age where everything is just on single click, if you will use internet you will get huge amount of information about trading, so just read and share your knowledge.

Nothing wrong with joining a group and try to learn from them, just make sure that you understand very clearly what is expected out of you because I have seen groups that seems to be about improving your trading ability and they were nothing more but pump and dump groups, also there are other groups that while legitimate they expect you that you give something back like predictions about a particular coin that you have been studying.
