I am crying right now, because I realize that am the stupidest man alive, I bought ripple when it is $3 and now it is 0.50 I can't sell off right now because I will make the same mistake I made before. Is their anybody that made the mistake like me I need you to raise your hand up :P

Just hodl or keep swing trade it so you could increase your holdings

It is a learning experience and the mistakes that you made is one, specially in this market. Right now you haven't lost anything yet, you can add some in the ripple that you are holding if the prices is dow and sell it if it reached the same price that you bought your first ripple.

Just HODL and wait for the right time. Xrp is a long-term investment and too many altcoins now are down. If you bought the coins because you beleive on the fundamentals of that coin, youll never care whether the price increase or decrease. I have also xrp, and neo to mention. I bought them before but I dont really care their price now. You'll only in loss if you sell them now.
For me, I just hodl cause I have an experience with Verge last year. I was a holder of xvg (last year) but because of what happened last (Aug. 1, 2017, fork) I decided to sold my xvg cause I was at a loss when its price down to 90-105 satoshi. Since then I wasnt able to bought back and maybe you know now how much xvg is. I had so much regrets because of what happened so now I've learned my lessons...Im holding my coins.

Well, you didn't do any mistakes because you didn't sell your coins. You're only going to make mistakes if you buy it at 3 and sell it at 0.50. Ripple is a very respectable coin and still in the top 5 coins right now so I don't think you have any problems right now. The only thing you have to do is to keep on holding your coins and grab some money if needed and if it is also profitable.

Hold, and then wait until the price is lower and buy some more, so your cost will be lower.

You have no choice but to wait, I got caught in the same thing a month or so ago with big reputable coins. Even if it doesn't go all the way back up, still wait it out to get more

Just HODL. If it would give you some peace of mind and you really believe in the project, average down your cost. For example you bought a bag of 100 crap at $3.00, buy another bag of 100 at 0.50 and you average cost would be $1.75 for each xrp.

I have never done mistake like this because I don't buy bubbles.

It will be hard for you to just earn something but for me this coin in near future will have again a big pump, not maybe to 3$ but also it will pass 2$ barier and then try to sell it or trade it.

You have bought them at the peak, but you do not lose anything until you sell them. You should keep your positions without checking the price every day and keep them for the long-term.

if its price was reached to 3 dollar then not only you but many people bought it at that price .
now even if you sell then you will be in 80% loss .
so for just 20% recovery dont sell it . chances to recover entire investment are higher than dip from here .

Now you only have one solution to this really big problem - HODL, forget about the wallets and  the coinmarketcap for a long time(year or more).But don't sell your coins it will be the bigest mistake ever!

I think a lot of investors will be in the same position as you with all their crypto currencies as all coins are down at the moment. Holding and fiat cost averaging are only way to prevent realised loss.

Buying more when it is fallen badly is the only option left with the OP now. As 3$ to reach now may taken a very longer time and if bought some now it will help to bring the average price down of the XRP. And thus with rise n future you can exit if do not want to hold it for loner term.

I will stick with the bitcoin value than the dollar price if I were you so as to consider my profit, though some partnership led to the price increase to $3 that you bought, if the partnership still remains it is a good sign for an increase now but I may never be able to predict any price in coming months for any coin

You are not alone here,i bought bitcoins when it was $20k and look where it is now,That's about the same margin of loss as yours but just be patient and hold on tight,ripple in particular is signing a lot of partnerships which have the tendency to moon the price again.

be patient with what happens to unstable market conditions because they still a lot of people trapped in their investment so they have lost a lot of value from the investment. so no need to think about and now just hold it until the price will go back up.

There were 2 big pumps, and if they pump it third time, whoever bought it at very high price will surely sell it to recover investment.
It is in my opinion very risky for whales to pump it for third time so I don't think price will increase at all.

LOL. I think there are a lot of people are crying the same like you :)). XRP is a good cryptocurrency but because of the downtrend in the early of this year, the whole market dumped a lot and of course XRP is also a victim of this trend. I think you shouldn't check the price of XRP too regular, just forget it and hold till the end of this year, maybe you'll not have to cry anymore when XRP price reach to 5$ . LOL

I also experienced a big mistake just like you but not in ripple, I bought NXT at the time will do hard fork at the price of 13k satoshi but I hold it and this is the result of the price throw away and I also feel very sad.

If you look at it like short term investment then it's a bad move. If you look at it for a long term then you still can gain some profit, but you locked those coins for a longer period of time. When you sell then you will definitely decide if you gain something or lost.

you dont need to be worry about that, you can take it back once bitcoin rise but dont expect high that ripple will go high again,
IF this happened, sell your token and dont expect much, as developers will surely on the selling side too.

For sure there are lots since this are common mistake of those new people specially into this crypto market.Experienced traders or investors wont probably do the same thing because they do know the price is being pumped up with just basing or seeing its entire cap you would able to say that $3 price on XRP is already considered as on HYPE side but yet there are lots of newbie traders and investors didn't see such thing,all they did is to buy into those pump state which would normally result into negative later on when profit taking do happen by previous trader who did get inside earlier.

Ripple is a crypto that have potential price, but in the first offer the market launch in vip too high price, then the traders doing trading, no interested. here layout of our error in analyzing a token. my advice better you hold down, wait the price that fit. i have ripple 300 ripple , same with you brother.

It's hard to short-term these days. Prices just keeps falling. On these bear period, the only choice we have is doing long-term tradings. Then we'll get nice profits after the market is booming again.

We can actually make money on bear periods but would really require extreme skills to make short tradings and about ripple it would still takes time for it to recover again or going back to $3 or possibly wont happen again.
One of the post above that we should not really purchase coins when they are still on a situation where it is being hyped up because tendency of dumping is very high.

Be patient man. Xrp have good platform and a long term. Anyway, now still have a strong storm, every coin down. Don't worry.

Now the market is in fluctuation so we have to wait some more time because already many bought them at a very high value at 3$. Don't lose your hope, the price of XRP will increase by the end of the year.

The XRP nature is not electronic money but just advanced blockchain technology based finance & coding; All XRP generated are controlled by a small group of people.

Explanation of this place is a bit lengthy but summed up XRP nature is not electronic money, the price of the XRP current Trader agreed to push up prices only ----> when the news spread all loaded slightly ----> brother carefully take profits with me, do not get too lost.

I agree with your opinion. if we have confidence in coins. we must maintain that belief for the long term. with the current situation, all coin prices are down. It is best to keep refraining from panic and not to sell your coins.

I think that you are not the only one who bought Ripple for $ 3. This means that you are not so long interested in crypto currency. Now you just have to wait until the market stabilizes.
