There were 2 big pumps, and if they pump it third time, whoever bought it at very high price will surely sell it to recover investment.
It is in my opinion very risky for whales to pump it for third time so I don't think price will increase at all.

LOL. I think there are a lot of people are crying the same like you ). XRP is a good cryptocurrency but because of the downtrend in the early of this year, the whole market dumped a lot and of course XRP is also a victim of this trend. I think you shouldn't check the price of XRP too regular, just forget it and hold till the end of this year, maybe you'll not have to cry anymore when XRP price reach to 5$ . LOL

I also experienced a big mistake just like you but not in ripple, I bought NXT at the time will do hard fork at the price of 13k satoshi but I hold it and this is the result of the price throw away and I also feel very sad.

If you look at it like short term investment then it's a bad move. If you look at it for a long term then you still can gain some profit, but you locked those coins for a longer period of time. When you sell then you will definitely decide if you gain something or lost.

you dont need to be worry about that, you can take it back once bitcoin rise but dont expect high that ripple will go high again,
IF this happened, sell your token and dont expect much, as developers will surely on the selling side too.

Experience from mistakes is very useful.You bought Ripple for $ 3 is what makes you not a very "good" investor. But I understand what distinguishes you from "horrible" investors is that you haven't invested the last of your money in crypto.    HODL _{wait for the pump}

For sure there are lots since this are common mistake of those new people specially into this crypto market.Experienced traders or investors wont probably do the same thing because they do know the price is being pumped up with just basing or seeing its entire cap you would able to say that $3 price on XRP is already considered as on HYPE side but yet there are lots of newbie traders and investors didn't see such thing,all they did is to buy into those pump state which would normally result into negative later on when profit taking do happen by previous trader who did get inside earlier.

We can actually make money on bear periods but would really require extreme skills to make short tradings and about ripple it would still takes time for it to recover again or going back to $3 or possibly wont happen again.
One of the post above that we should not really purchase coins when they are still on a situation where it is being hyped up because tendency of dumping is very high.
