Ethereum had a dip in its price yesterday like most of the cryptocurrencies, where it was trading at $429.25 and it fell to $391 swing low. At 12:04 PM UTC, Ethereum was trading at $396.71 with a market capital of $39.167 billion. The coin appears to be struggling to get back above $400 which is crucial for the coin at the present time. ETH/USD is holding the $385 level and the 100 hourly simple moving average. The coin seems to be oscillating between two major points which are $390 and $400.

In general, the etherium can roll back like everything else, but I think so far it keeps well and still grows.

From my point of view, the ETH project is very much developing and now is not a very easy time for the project as for the entire crypto-currency world, I think that Vitalik Buterina's team will do a lot to help the price of ETH become higher. So we just need to believe in the project.

Ethereum demonstrated us that it can reach a value of 1000 $ on the bull run so I don't think that this value is far away from it.
We should consider that Ethereum is (at current price) 10x in comparison with its value from this time last year.
Now Etherum, like btc, is looking for a price to stabilise (maybe 500$) and next to make its next increase in value, but I don't think that we will see another 10x soon.

You must be out of your mind if you think that Ethereum won't be able to bounce back up. Did you see its current value? The figures from the article are obviously old figures and ETH has already gone back above $500 and will continue to move upwards if the market continues to rally. It depends primarily on Bitcoin and its value which is why I am expecting ETH to touch $1000 soon and $2000 by the end of this year once Bitcoin itself touches a new high. On the other hand, Verge is facing a lot of criticism in recent times and I do not advise investing into it at the moment.

I will be much surprised if ethereum stays at 500 for a long time.

Yes, of course. Even if the price decreased in half - from 1000$ to 500$ - in the span of 3 months, it can still recover. Maybe it will have a huge increase once Bitcoin's price continue to increase as well. As you can see, ETH is following the trajectory of Bitcoin. But, there are issues with Verge, more specifically, with partnership to Pornhub. Might as well wait for the issue to settle down, if you want to invest in ETH.

In my opinion to this, I think it is normal thing that eth will be drop but just for a little. It is usual flow in the market which is ups and down but in my own prediction, I do believe that eth will continuously to rise for a long period of time because it has a better performance for the last few days compare to other coins. I believe that it also has a capability and ability to survive in the downfall situation because it built with a better platform and strong foundation so we need to do is to think positive and keep supporting to eth.   

ETH is now available in Philippine Peso/ETH pairing via coins.ph that's why I have a gut feeling that the drop was caused by someone who surely likes to get bags of this coin. He was probably dumping regularly and the weak-handed folks follow his lead which reinforced the dip. I am HODLing and am waiting for a huge pump in August. CAVEAT!

I think ETH will show its growth again, because ETH is one of altc type. which is in great demand after Bitcoin, and I'm sure ETH will show its growth and its value will rise again.

In many performances of eth in the market I just notice that this is really has a better platform that can survive or stand strong again after the difficulties or downing fall that it's already experienced. We all known that in the pass few weeks eth is the one that really suffered from downfall situation and it's been a long period of time. I'm not doubting eth's capability to bounce back since among all alts, its one that has the most solid base. The eth platform is already being used by a lot of companies with smart contract and same as with btc, it's not going to take very long before we see it move upwards again.

I think of course ETH will continue to rise back to the highest price, because ETH is an altcoin whose developers continue to innovate.

Ethereum and bitcoin is the most epective back up. And as a result they're connected to each other up to now. And allso one reason to proof that they are connected is each other is their values in exchanging site. If the value of the one is crash down then allso the one is affected. From my point of view, the Ethereum is rising now from its low price in most part of this year which is a good sign. The Ethereum has grown over the years from its very low price and although it has not been able to challenge the bitcoin price as people think it will, it has grown much and continues to grow.

I’m finding it harder to predict the short term swings of cryptocurrencies.

However, believe in Etherium as a long term investment because there are so many tokens that rely on Etherium’s platform.

It’s hard to imagine Etherium failing at least any time soon. I look for it as a good investment for 5 to 10 years down the road.

I don't know the source of your information but everything looks green in my country (including ETH). Ethereum has been rising by 1-2% on a daily basis and I am pretty bullish about it. The recovery that we saw in the last few days was long over due and I am glad that it finally happened. Now I am hoping that by the end of this quarter Ethereum would reach 700$ mark and stays stable over there.

Yes !Of course why not? ethereum is a great platform as well as neo,that is why good platforms should be backed up the community,most of the people should be buying ethereum because it is very undervalued! ethereum was being dumped too hard as well as most of the miners switched to ethereum classic but it doesnt mean the ETH would be worthless,those bag holders surely going to buy more ethereum as it is going to convert from pow to pos in the near future.

Ethereum was a great platform,until they have announced that ETH would migrate frm proof of work to proof of stakes which is why most of the miners switch to other coins,the mining difficulty has increased that is why they indeed switch back to ethereum classic which is another good coin to mine as it is the original coin from ethereum's chain.

So in general big investors do believe that ETH is going to have the down trend soon and after reaching 450 bucks or so ETH will start bull trend one more time. But I do see more buy walls than the sell wall and that could be coming form the different exchangers and time frames. I think the ethereum will rise again. Do not you see consistent ethereum movements at $ 500 price? It points to the stability and slowly ethereum will recover. Maybe there will be a correction again and after that the market skyrocketed green.

It may be probable that all altcoins that come from different ICO are linked to ethereum and will be exchanging new markets altcoins. Crypto falls as fast as it skyrockets up due to its unregulated nature with whales and FOMO hype trains. As a result, it might not take "years" to get back to $1200 (due to random pump/dumps), but overall ETH value might not stabilize to that number for years.

ethereum obviously i believe this is the best. there should be many root branches that support and many ICO projects in the hope of ETH can exceed the king

Why wouldnt ethereum be recovered? it was dump to hard from the past few months but it doesnt mean that ethereum wont recover! Ive heard it too,but if the lightning network will fail it is surely going to worsen the situation.The value might be decreased exponentially which is why we need to diversify our portfolio,but i believe in ethereum's platform because the team behind it is working hard,better than bitcoin's core team which cant even get the lightning network live.

I think that this analysis has lost some of its relevance today. Ether today is already 515 dollars. This trend as we see continues, as bitcoin returned to around 8,000 and continues to grow. Verge is losing ground, but VeChain is quite the opposite. After the Ether, I would bet on VeChain. Let's see what will happen in reality.

Ethereum is the most trusted platform in the cryptocurreny community which is why it should backed up,the value is going to be much bigger in the upcoming months,we should be buying more as we can see it is very undervalued today too far from its current all time high that is why the potential profits is much bigger than bitcoin.
