EOS. The project is very good. Token is worth a lot because now is 18 $ (the token started from the price of 2 $). People buy. However, everywhere is described as SCAM. It's quite good for a scam, right?

I am tempted to buy. Has someone got this coin? Does anyone of you invest for that?

I know the topic was once but nothing came of it ...

EOS is a legit project that will be a huge one after the swap to an own chain. It is a project that I am shilling for a long time now and it was a good idea to shill it. I have nice profits now!

If I'm not mistaken, EOS has problems with the SEC, if it's true, I would not be in a hurry to buy coins, the negative news can bring down the course.

I think the current price of EOS is too expensive. Maybe we should wait for it to drop a bit and buy it again is a better choice.

I am too conservative to buy eos right now for me it is too risky. I do not know whether it is a scam or not but I completely sure that someone earned well enough who bought at lows. And the growth was so fast that I could just envy holding my eth at the same time.

To buy today EOS, I think that it will be the right decision, do you know what this project is about? I think that many do not know the entire structure of the project and it is not entirely clear what is going to happen. I think that today it still costs to buy. Therefore, we must begin to do this.

I have tried buying EOS and their platform was really great and don't feel any doubt right now that it is just a scam, a lot of reviews saying that it is legit one.

I had the opportunity to buy when it was low but it skipped my mind. I have missed some good profits now. I would love to buy EOS but the current price is high for me and I have decided not to fomo any coin no matter the hype. I will look for other good coins that have not pumped and them maybe invest the profits on EOS when the price dumps.

The thing about EOS is that there's a lot of hype and excitement around this alt because of the mainnet launch in June, which is making people (noobs and investors) want to jump into the bandwagon and buy. What could happen in the short tem is that momentum will dissapear as we approach the launch date,  and once the hypes dies down after the mainnet launch, we could see a huge dump.

So honestly, you've missed the train on this one, the time to buy and then wait for huge profits was months ago, I think EOS is extremely overpriced right now. If you buy, you might make some small profits thanks to the hype and momentum which are gonna pump the price but won't make good profits.

EOS seems a very nice project already had a good ROI now cause coin is around 18$! Also, it's described as a very good coin with huge potential for this year. Remember even bitcoin is described as Scam from someone so even if the king of coin is called as scam, every remaining coin can be called as scam from someone.

You can be right. I bought a few. I have not invested much. How I will lose it is not much.
This is a very tempting project. Can someone say who has a lot of these coins? Is he now selling or holding?

I still remain undecided about the project, as for you to buy, I will say NO, just because the project has been on a steady rise for a long period of time and when correction start you can buy the dip, never chase a price there will alwyas be a time to buy when the price is flat

Is it worth $15 billion? Definitely not. Remembered it don't even have a working blockchain. This alone probably considered as scam to most people. The current price is clearly insider or whale fake pump.

My holding in EOS has risen so much in the last two months that it is now worth more than all my other coins together. It did drop 11% today,though.

he only recently cost 8$, I don't think he's gonna be that cheap again. Although, if there are problems with SEC, then perhaps the price will fall to 8$

It's true the mainnet isn't live yet though and that eos is currently an erc20 token until main net launch in June.

It depends on your risk appetite I suppose. I personally prefer to get into a project before they have 100% everything sorted. If you wait until this point gains will be much lower.

Given Dan Larimer has already created 2 working blockchains - with incredible throughput - the chances of EOS blockchain just not working and everyone giving up are less than 0.001% - in my view!  ;D

It's difficult to predict whether or not there will be a correction before June. But if that happens I would probably buy again.

No, it is not a scam. It is very popular project, but i guess that its price are too high and we can see the classic "pump" of this coin. The real price of eos is 15-16$

I think EOS is a very successful ICO project and it is still doing its openings. I realized that EOS is not a Scam if investors still believe in it, continue to buy and hold it, it never fails or collapses.

They are a great project to invest at, I personally have it too since they really have a great vision with their coins and I believe it, I also earned a lot from simply holding it.

EOS I had to buy for the price of two dollars. Now it would be possible to sell and earn sixteen dollars.

Instead of coming up with competition, it would be better to join forces and work on the Ethereum project. It seems to me that Larimer can not compete with Ethereum, and what we see now growth. Since this is just the machinations of Ethereum competitors, they bring down the cost of Ethereum and raise the cost of their product, but their product is not ready, and when they run out of cheap ether, the price will rise very quickly to 3 thousand dollars.

EOS is actually a really great blockchain project and its sudden surge indicates how good of a project it is.
Well, I'm expecting a correction and at that time, EOS will be a good buy.

I have decent % of my portfolio in EOS and I think this coin can have real usage and potential to compete with ETH.

Be careful and be ready to wait long enough if it will drop much lower then you bought.

I do not think that you need to buy now !!! I can not be sure, but as I read on some sources, the price may fall, !!!

You can check on coinmarketcap...EOS is tradable in 20 big exchanges, no one knows what happen..but i think EOS is not scam,it is not possible if a scam project can listing their tokens in big exchanges with very high trading volume, and also the developers have spent a lot of money to register their coins in all that market ..... I think the price to be 9x is because a lot of markets trade EOS coins and also the limited supply of coins...

Probably it's not a scam, but the current prices seems very overvalued.

Where do you find this information about EOS scamming people? It helps with decentralized apps and is mainly considered to be a decent project from what I read. I looked up on reddit that some people don't like eos, because they are generally against the ico way of releasing coins and they also believe the head of the dev team is not very good, because he tends to start good projects and then drop them without leading till the end.
I think the platform is already working and they are conducting seminars where they explain how to build dapps there.

I bought some EOS coins. The project is based on asynchronous smart contracts that can run in parallel, which allows you to achieve a performance of more than 100,000 transactions per second. As well as Bancor - a much more powerful platform than the etherium.

I don't think it's scam. Some people are just trying to create FUD around it. But the project has been shilled almost by all ICO reviewers so I don't really see why it should go down.

I think so too but where this attack on the project comes from. Where does such information come from? It is the currency that places first place in the Top Ethereum Tokens Activity ranking.

There's probably grains of truth here and there. People's bias really allows justifying just about anything. All we can go on is the here and now, look at what companies are supporting EOS, what dapps are being built, if things are progressing and how the team handles questions. In that regard, I think Dan and the developers have done an outstanding job.

Maybe it's about the threat to ETH itself. Maybe that is why EOS is attacked?

5. let people buy in, milk the crowd who doesn't know better!

EOS is the next Ethereum. it solves the scalability issues under Ethereum network. If ETH will not upgrade or find a way to hasten their network slowdown then there is a higher chance that EOS will overtake ethereum in the near future.

EOS ICO is about to end. and when that happens EOS price will shoot up.

I dont think it is a scam project. It would have never ended up in the Top 20 if that would have been the case.

EOS deve team is planning on releasing the hard fork and some major upgrades soon and what you seeing in the current market is nothing but the hype for the same. This is just the start of this coin to grow bigger and time will tell how far it can go.

well i don't think its a good time to buy right now .. there is hype about this project and there is also some negative press about it and if you think logically they have raised tons of money without a working product as of yet and it's been a year since there ICO!! I would say wait for them to launch their own chain before going all in. Just invest a small amount now if you are feeling FOMO. Otherwise I would wait for their chain to become functional before diving in. As, if anything goes wrong then it wouldn't take much for the price to drop fast and heavily.

I think EOS is one of the projects that has potential to be really useful.

The project doesn’t look like scam at all. And you are probably late with question like that. Also Its not the best time to buy now if you are looking for long term investment. The price should drop by at least 30 percent from current. That will be the time to consider it. Will it give you some gain or not will depend on how EOS is going to be used. For now, I don’t see much of the use, only great work of the team behind EOS. I had some of EOS for few months, I sold it just recently hoping that it will drop in price soon and I can buy it back to keep again

How EOS can be a scam? There's so much hype around it now. Everyone wants to win the vote to become a Block Producer. So I don't see any reason to call it scam. More of that, I believe it can really become the main competitor for Ethereum.

EOS is most definitely not a scam, they are simply a new project that is still in development. I'm 100% sure that in the future it will be just as if not even better than ethereum as a platform for dapps, despite this though right now would not be a good time to buy as it just had a bull run and is correctin with all the other alts.

Now EOS is quickly pumped up. The price soared very quickly. But it's not because it's a scam, it's a pump. People expect a lot from this project, everyone buys because they want a coin, which can potentially replace Ether. Ethereum needs to be altered, modified, supplemented, but EOS was originally conceived without problems with scaling.

I do not think EOS is a scam, I recently analyzed the project even if I did not do a very detailed analysis due to lack of time, it seems to me overall very good. I did not buy it and at the moment I do not think to buy it, but it could be a good opportunity to diversify your wallet

If this is the case then I am willing to spend some money and invest in eos when it is dump. I can see eos has a big impact in the market making other traders more excited to add EOS in their portfolio. Some may say eos tokens are worthless. But look how it performed in the market now. Sure it might not be likely that a top 5 coin is a scam, but it can always happen.

Remember Bitconnect, BCC had a pretty huge marketcap just before they scammed everyone.

No way that this is a scam, they stated truthfully that the ERC20 EOS tokens are worthless. I am sure it was also added there for legal reasons. It doesn't mean anything.

The real concern is, is EOS heavily overpriced right now or can it still pump further? I can definitely see it overtake Bcash and possibly Ripple, but then I look at the dollar valuation it has to reach and I crawl back into my shell in fear. 
Kinda S****ing myself every day since I hold a big position in EOS, I got in much earlier but still this is a lot of gains I stand to lose.

EOS have rank 5 on coinmarketcap, which means that it is a kind of blue chip in which to invest a lot of money, so I think that it is strongly undervalued and it is expected to grow tremendously strongly.

The CTO of EOS is Daniel Larimer who was the founder of Bitshares and co founder of Steemit so I would say it is definately not a scam, however it has risen in price quite significantly and now has a market cap of over $14 billion. That is a pretty high market cap for a coin that has great potential but has not yet proven a use case.

Well, of course that this is not a scam. There's a famous team that already has successful projects, it can not be a scam but I believe that he is now overbuying so I would not advise him to buy it now and wait a bit and maybe buy at a smaller price.

I did some research, and have invested in EOS recently, and will buy some more in the future. It is suppose to become a very important player in the near future. I will wait and see, at the moment it is reasonable to speculate on.

That level of hype that EOS gained through its ICO is thanks to their marketing campaign. Their add was even on WallStreet monitors, so just imagine how much money did they spend on this advertisement.
One more thing - they gain money by themselves - I mean the price is not going up and down just on the exchanges but developers receive money every round of ICO(every day in simple). So they will have enough money to hire any specialist no matter how much he want for his job, really. So this project can't become scam in the nearest future

I think it's a good project. Den Larimer is a famous developer who created 2 successful projects. He won't question his reputation. Can we invest in this project? You have to solve this issue. I'm not investing because I invested in a Cardano. I'm not sure about EOS right now.

EOS - this is definitely not a scam. They have a very strong team and ecosystem, many projects now decide to build on the EOS. Therefore, invest while the eos is at the level of <10 $

Eos went on the market as an alternative blockchain and was in great demand. The value increased quickly. then the price began to fall. I certainly do not think scam is.

EOS is definetly a legit project, whoever calls it a scam is crazy i think. They have had a amazing funding proces of 1 year, alot of people discus the possibility of price manipulation but it was just demand and supply effects.

EOS has a strong and legit team, and a great product in progress. Yes they had some faillures on the launch etc and in my opinion a lack on having a legit wallet. Still they have accomplished alot in a year and many more features will come out in the near future!

My gues for EOS, they will take over ETH in time.

Well according to my own knowledge, I don't think EOS is a scam project and I'm very willing to buy and keep some coins now if I have spare money with me. It had the potential to grow big in future like ethereum and co.

I don't think that EOS is a scam. EOS is a very legit and well-bound project. EOS is the project which collect the highest money during the ICO phase. And still is the biggest ICO project ever. So it is successful and legit from the beginning. Many people from ethereum team now work for EOS and the CEO of EOS is connected to ethereum once at the beginning of ethereum. So they have a great team and lots of money so they work in their project with full power but still now they don't have a full phase working project in the market. But they are working on it and they reacently launch mainnet. Now it's time to wait for some improvements and spread the project.

People mark any project SCAM based on Price Drop and not because of the service they offer.
A single post can create lot of fud and that is followed by many people who post a lot of stuff about this.

Today many projects are working on the same concept and they trying to fall each other market with FUD.

Honestly I don't understand this question too well, If EOS is a scam! I believe something prompt you to ask this question and whatever it is, you should first think of what makes a project scam. I see it as a legit project.

This currency exists for a long time yet and for me it seems quite satisfactory to invest in this cryptocurrency. I have some these coins on my own. But at the same time it is possible to find some alternatives.

BUT I guess maybe they are SCAM since, when I've inspected their bounty campaign, there is no whitepaper attached to their thread. It is not that good to trust an ICO without their purpose attached. I don't think that EOS is a scam, but one thing that i'm concerned about is the way to create a wallet, I think it got so much complicated to create an EOS wallet, and also why do we have to pay to create a wallet.

dPOS is not deserve to call it centralized consensys algorithm, i recommend to you to read more about how it works. EOS can be better platform for dApps than ETH and we are already have working dApps/

I have watched today #Hashed interview with Mike Novogratz. One question to him was - what do you think are more promising projects so far. He answered that one of them is EOS like it was ethereum in 2015.

A good token with excellent technology, I think it will be useful for investors to store it. He certainly doesn't get better eth too, but I think good will manifest itself in the future.

There is something that i don't like form EOS, that is the process on creating wallet is complicated, other than that we should pay to make our wallet usable. Perhaps the wallet creation system could be simplified so it will be easier even for any new comers in this crypto world.

The developers of the EOS project very well coordinate the development of the project from the start of development to the present. In the future, EOS will occupy an increasingly important place in cryptography and should be a strong competitor for a more mature ethereum.
