I don't get this ETH phenomenon as well. Yes it is a tool for easy token creation and operation, yes its has huge user base, transparent, quite easy to use etc. But so what? What's good from all of it to us? Why the hell this crap is so hyped? Not a single ICO that i was interested for the past years delivered, not a single token worth more than the etereum itself, dozens of thousands people scammed, more of them simply disappointed.
Loud promises without coverage, empty slogans, nothing more.
Is it really only about idea tokenisation? Everyone can make a token but it will be ETH dependent, a slave to its ether master.
IMO this is the biggest shitcoin sham of all times and now hardfork'ing because reasons... I'm not a hater, i truly don't understand the success.

What the others do not have is the Ethereum Enterprise Alliance. A network of devs, promoters, businesses that work together towards mass adoption. It's why eth is no 2 right now. It might change with eos, though. That is if they decide to put a part of the gross amounts they received in the ICO towards creating a similar alliance for developing the ecosystem.

A lot of crypto-currencies, the value of which is simply inflated, but nevertheless they live, and Ethereum is a really good coin that will grow and develop. If you do not see the value of Ethereum then it is better not to invest in it.

Ethereum is the leading altcoin based on smart contracts, we also see that more than 90% of ico projects are placed on the Ethereum platform.  I believe that Ethereum is very popular among the cryptocurrency community, as it is the most reliable coin in my opinion.

I saw this thread and I was thinking about the good times. What has been said, however, remains valid, from the technical point of view nothing has changed, so I am sure that we will return to see these values. Eth was and still is the largest crypto ecosystem.
