You need to take care of yourself first to win depression, which means physical activity, healthy food, regular sleep, once you reach these things, you will be good to go.

as someone who struggled with the same thing for years i can honestly say the best thing you can do is go see a psychologist or a psychiatrist. those are the ONLY things that helped me get past these issues in a meaningful non temporary way

To cope with depression, you can follow these steps (it helped me, and I hope it will help you, too):

1. Don't let yourself be alone. Look for support from people who make you feel safe and cared for. Stay in touch with them, communicate with your friends.

2. Try to keep up with social activities even if you don’t feel like it. Force yourself to talk to people and spend time with them

3. Care for a pet. They can bring you lots of positive emotions

4. Talk to a psychologist. Professional help is usually necessary while overcoming depression

For me depression is beyond sadness. It causes lack of interest to do something, not to love something and to think straight. It happened to me when I was freshmen college. The pressure to get high grades we're really bad, and addition to that, my parents had divorced and my past childhood is haunting me. The worst was I tried to kill myself, fortunately my sister saved me. It's really hard to recover from depression without any love coming from your family.

Are you an introvert? If yes means you are the same as me, in this life I just do things that are important and rarely do anything else like play and so on. I also do not feel at home with this kedaan, I want to change it but very difficult.

Don't worry, we have all been depressed these last few months! The market was hit hard with a massive bear market but the whales have returned and the market is back again. Start trading and when you make profits you will not feel depressed anymore.

Hey there, sorry to hear you feel this way. Exercise is a proven help to battle depression, so get on a bicycle or go for a jog if you can! If you have any family or friends open up to them, it may seem hard at first but you will wonder why you did not do it earlier :) Nobody deserves to be alone and sad - Life is too beautiful and we only get one, so spend it with the people you love doing the things that make you happy :) I hope this helps. Best wishes for the future :)

Well I am as well, I don't even know what to do to make myself happy. I am no longer interested in doing things. I think you are not alone. Maybe we need sometime to live out of a lonely and unhappy life. Tell me if you can overcome all of these feelings of depression.

Depression is something that you can't remove, When depression attacks you, you will feel down and will lost your interest. I do have depression and when it attacks me I feel so sad like no one understands me, but I realized that instead of loosing me self I need to fight not only for myself but also with my love ones. So I always make my self busy like I should have no time for depression but when it attacks me I will simply talk to my family, my friends or to God. That's how I handle my depression.

During the depression, you should not be lonely. It is better for someone to talk about their problem - relatives or friends. It's good to please yourself with a good purchase or do your hobby.

Some good advice here. I would also try to find out why you lost motivation. Are there some outside causes or did it happen out of the blue without a reason?

Depression is something that you can't escape but you can avoid. When depression  strikes it will affect your entire life, you will lose your confidence, you will lose your interest in all things even to yourself. When depression strikes me I usually try to meditate, I'll read some books or bible then I'll talk to my friends or to my family. You yourself can fight depression to avoid this do the things that makes you happy, talk to those people that makes you feel comfortable, make yourself busy. You are the soldier of yourself fight depression.

Depression is a serious mental health problem that must be address as soon as possible. It can make you feel you have nothing to do with your life. Consultation to a professional is the best option for it, also help from other family members. You should think of other things that can make you happy like travelling and playing sport.

I used to feel that depression. I didn't have any motivation even to do daily activities like eating or waking up. When you are not interested in anything, you should try relaxing by listening to music, watching movie, or doing some workouts. Then when you feel a bit better, let's start do sth you used like but haven't done for a long time.

Here is a natural way to deal with depression:

1. Meditation
To eliminate the stress that comes up everyday, set aside 30 minutes each day and find a quiet place. Turn off the device and close your eyes. Set your breath, and focus.Do not think of anything. If there is something disturbing to the mind, immediately dislodge and refocus. You can also try to focus on one word, or imagine yourself in a peaceful place.

2. Add vitamin B intake
Vitamin B-12 and B vitamins help the production of chemical compounds in the brain that affect the mood of serotonin, epinephrine, and dopamine. Less vitamin B intake is often associated with depression.

3. Set Goals
As suggested by Ian Cook, director of the Depression Research and Clinic Program at UCLA. "Start with a small step, making it something you can achieve, not impossible," Cook said. "You can be happy for the achievements you made. Eventually, you are ready to challenge yourself with a more difficult goal.

4. Routine sleep schedule
Depression can make you difficult to sleep. Even if sleeping, the quality may not be as good as those who are not depressed.Padahal, if sleep depressed symptoms can worsen and master the contents of the mind.

5. Light exercise
Morning run or light stretching can help overcome symptoms of depression. Exercise triggers endorphin production, also triggering the brain to think more positively. Research also proves, with exercise, you again gain confidence.

I agree with you. Depression can be overcome by exercising. No need with a heavy sport.Simply walk casual with routine every day. In addition to running relaxed, playing tennis, or even do soccer sports with friends around. If more exercise then the hormone will increase and make the mood becomes more calm.

Really.. When it come to depression.. I am a victim of it... To my own observations depression sets in when i get frustrated, less busy or broke.. Sometimes it makes me feel empty or been stagnant...
Funny how it affects human lives and activities.. I even get depressed whenever i feel am not achieving anything but i see others do...

To save yourself from depression... Find something to keep you busy, map out your daily routine and make different routine every day, register all you achieve each day and make everyday count..
Have a year resolution and work towards them.. Lastly, believe in yourself and always be happy

Depressive Disorders are a category of mood disorders that involve extended periods of feeling extremely low and disrupt a person’s ability to enjoy life. Some of the most common Depressive Disorders include:

Major Depressive Disorder (Clinical Depression); a mental health condition characterized by an inescapable and ongoing low mood often accompanied by low self-esteem and loss of interest or pleasure in activities that a person used to find enjoyable.  To meet the criteria for Major Depressive Disorder (MDD), symptoms must be present nearly every day for at least 2 weeks. MDD is also often referred to as Major Depression.

Persistent Depressive Disorder; refers to a longer lasting form of depression. While Major Depressive Disorder is diagnosed if an individual experiences symptoms for at least 2 weeks, Persistent Depressive Disorder is used when symptoms of depression are present on most days for at least two years, but do not reach the severity of a major depressive episode. (Prior to the release of the DSM-5 this was more commonly known as Dysthymia.)

If you suffer from depression, even if it is difficult, try to push yourself to do something fun and different, like going to the zoo, reading a new book, learning a new language, going to a new place, and so on. As you do new things, your brain will also start making changes related to pleasure.

I go through the same situation as you, I just tell you that I do not have anything crazy, you have relatives who love you and you want, you better not suffer for something ridiculous, and if your case is like mine was for a woman , just wait, like 1 year or 2, do not say that everything arrives in due time because that is true, I really last like 1 or 2 years to know more women and friends with benefits, I recommend you change your image, cut of hair, more appropriate way of dressing a year, how to express yourself with a woman, try to read self-confidence books, all that helped me really enough, and if you do it as soon as possible you may be shorter than me, and if your problem is different deals with self-confidence books, I swear you serve a lot.

Depression (major depressive disorder) is a common and serious medical illness that negatively affects how you feel, the way you think and how you act. Fortunately, it is also treatable. Depression causes feelings of sadness and/or a loss of interest in activities once enjoyed. It can lead to a variety of emotional and physical problems and can decrease a person’s ability to function at work and at home.

Depression symptoms can vary from mild to severe and can include:

Feeling sad or having a depressed mood
Loss of interest or pleasure in activities once enjoyed
Changes in appetite — weight loss or gain unrelated to dieting
Trouble sleeping or sleeping too much
Loss of energy or increased fatigue
Increase in purposeless physical activity (e.g., hand-wringing or pacing) or slowed movements and speech (actions observable by others)
Feeling worthless or guilty
Difficulty thinking, concentrating or making decisions
Thoughts of death or suicide

The best medicine for depression is having someone to talk to with your problems. Those who are reported commited suicide don't have someone in their that is why they can't spit ilout their emotions and problems. I successfully vanish the depression of someone whom i know wherein she came in a decision to commit suicide but fortunately I dis managed to divert her attention and let her depression evaporate slowly everyday.

To be honest sometimes even if you are with people that you love, there would still be times when you'll be depressed. But I suggest just spend some time doing something that is productive and try to find a good, meaningful reason why you do it.

Only you can win with it.

- try to find a hobby (wasted your free time)
- remember, you are stronger !

I wish you good luck and recovery!

In order to solve any problem, I think it is necessary to figure out the cause. And this also is the place to start in this situation. I am quite confident that you haven't always felt this way. So, the question you have to ask and answer is quite simple. What trail of events led to this feeling I am experiencing presently? This might take some time to answer. But once it is done, you can then do some steps retracing and decide what efforts you must make to salvage the error. They also say that all a man needs to be happy is someone to love, something to do and something to hope for. So, if any of these three is missing, you can also consider fixing that.

Exclude from your life everything, that gives you depression.
Start running\doing exercises.
Start doing some kind of job\arts.
Do not allow anyone to hurt you.
Start to talk with people.
Start to look at your appearance.

Then you'll be able to find a GF, which should save you from this hell.
Or make you lo live in it once again.

Be carefull bro.

I agree, if it has been going for a year already, you should really consider visiting a psychiatrist. Depression is a medical condition, one that is very hard to get rid of on your own. It`d be much faster with the help of a professional specialist, don`t waste your times and nerves.

Most of my time for the past year I feel kinda depressed. I dont really have any passion and I would prefet to do nothing rather then to do something usefull.
Can you guys please give me any tips on how to end this?

Advice is simple, do you have a mom and dad?
Make them proud of their son. Believe me, this is the best motivation to live

That is bad if you do not end your depression because it may lead to death. The best way for you to overcome your depression is to make something or do something that you can relax yourself , like going out with friends , go outdoor and play basketball , or going to a hike , ride a bike , fishing. Do something that you can feel happy with yourself.

But going for a walk or getting up and dancing to your favorite music, for example, is something you can do right now. And it can substantially boost your mood and energy for several hours—long enough to put a second recovery step into action, such as preparing a mood-boosting meal or arranging to meet an old friend.

You probably lost your purpose of living. You need a spiritual connection.  Also you need to choose to be happy.  When you give yourself to others, you receive more.

I can fully understand you. You just need to realize that you are not alone, that you live only once and you need to enjoy each moment, and that life is beautiful just the way it is

To beat a depression you need to focus on something new. Watch something like funny anime, read about new technology or some trading features. LIke i recently found about decentralized exchanges and find nice just for me Ethermium (https://ethermium.com), this is DEX with market and stop orders, very convenient, especially comparing to other DEX's.

Yeas. First stop to listen to music and to dream about the perfect life, which you will never can get. Because it`s not useful. Second, start to do what you like over pain or crying. You are just one of millions. And why do you think you have right to do nothing and just to lie. Noo, you have not such right. And, believe me ( i know what is the depession), in some days you will smile and you will feel you useful.

Well, firstly you should get rid of the reason of your depression. I know that it is easy to say and very difficult to solve, but you really should think of the origin of problem.

Think about the reason for your condition and go to the doctor. Talk about your problems with your family or friends.
Here are some tips that can help you:
- do what you used to like doing , even if you don’t like it now
-workout. Exercise is something you can do right now to boost your mood.

I divert my focus into something fun and productive, then I came across Vegascasino that supports a lot of gambling games so that I can have fun and earn at the same time while playing the games I love. So, my depression diminished and learn to forgot and not to worry about everything.

Find yourself something useful to do but NOT for yourself but for others. You'll feel needed.
If it does not help, you should go to a doctor.

It looks like you have to find something new that can make you love something like a woman, pet, or work. By finding something new that you love, your passion and adrenaline will be boosted again to do things.

Doing something useful can actually be entertaining if you put some spice on it. But I greatly recommend to you to try talking with a psychologist or even to a friend to share what is running in your mind.

It's hard to share your problems with other people because most of the time they won't understand since for me, the problem would be about crypto.

I can relate to your case that it would be difficult to explain to them since it is about work. But it doesn't mean you should isolate yourself because you are never alone! Even though you can't explain to them what is happening, at least let them know that you are sad or tired or both so they would know. I once experience a big loss in crypto it really change my mood. Fortunately, I have a friend that cheer me up and gave me hope. He suggest that I should still continue doing things here and advice to be more careful. That is when he taught me about Bitrus (https://to.crwd.cr/z7G) and it changed my life for the better.

It is worth less to be driven into depression , and more to enjoy life , because in addition to work there is rest , the main thing is not to give up and everything will turn out

You have to do some activities such as sports, go dancing, something that clarifies your mind, you can even take a few beers, depression comes with all those solutions, but do not fall into the excess of them, because they can be harmful.

Listen to a very lively and inspirational songs/music.

It will help you ease the pain that you are feeling right now. Hang out somewhere and enjoy yourself, don't let yourself be in the cage of four sides of your room.

Several years ago, I suffered so-called panic attacks and even went to the doctor with this problem. Against a background of panic attacks, some kind of discouragement, chronic pessimism, despair, dissatisfaction with life, high psychic sensitivity, and even tearfulness began to develop. And that's what I understood.
Foolish stamps - change your hair, change your image, make a permutation in the room and you will be happy. All this is nonsense !!! The first and most important thing is not to take daily life as a problem. All that happens every second is life itself. The child got sick, the car broke down, the chef-fool - no need to panic. Teach yourself to first look for the cause, the source of the event, and then grab the medicine. Elementary thinking and the question - why did this happen? It will give you a solution and peace of mind. Without a reason, nothing happens. it just needs to be found, and the solution always lives near the cause. Such a disease as depression does not exist, there is only not the ability or the desire to get to the bottom of what happened.

There are many experts that can handle this problem you are facing.  I will advise you to used Google Search engines to meet those experts that has solutions to your problems.  Depression is a bad thing and it can lead to suicide and that is why the earliest you can connect to the solution the better for you.  I passed through that before and I find solutions in the word of God writing in the Holy scriptures.  Since then I dedicate times for prayers and meditation which has helped me in great measures.  I will said we are not going to have a bad days if we tried to give ourselves to something we love as depressed do come through doing those things we did not love though we keep doing them.  May the spirit of God help you sir.
