Depends on how you execute it since if bring a good knowledge on trading you might gonna double that amount but if you just brought up since there are people hype you then a huge chances for you to get lost on immediate times.

But if you really want to learn then start browsing some good articles on google or maybe here since there are people posting some guides on how to trade and how to react on sudden dump due to volatility. You must also learn from other people's mistake by reading their post so that you may know how they lost and can adopt to avoid those.

If you have a capital just like you said I think you need to learn first how it works and make more profits.the capital is not a big deal to make trading but the big deal is you need more knowledge and skill.just do it step by step being a newbie.if you rush you're self to do trading without skills and knowledge you will be bankrupt as soon as possible.

You should start by registering to exchanges you want to trust. For a list of good exchanges to register too, you might want to refer to this guide (https://chainoperator.com/best-cryptocurrency-exchanges/). Before investing onto coins though, make your own due research.
can $100 survive in trading?
I think your capital is enough to start trading. In fact, I have started with a 50$ capital(way back 2016 a year before I registered into this forum). You will be fine so long as you know well the coins you will invest into, and diversify your investments. Furthermore, study trading first before starting. You can refer to this threads for more knowledge about trading:

Your 100$ may not survive the market but you just need to used this small balance from beginning and when things work in your favor you can now invest huge amount of money into trade.  Since you are new in trading there is no need you should start with huge capital because of the risk involved. Cryptocurrencies trading is a very risky venture and there is no need you should trade with huge capital when you have little knowledge.

your capital size does not matter for your survival. your experience is all that matters. if you are really a newbie then you will surely lose money. starting with $100 is a good thing because your losses won't be big and devastating. and as long as you learn from those mistakes and continue to educate yourself and gain more trading experience you will be successful in the future.

First of all you have to follow a month the market so you can see the high volatility of price of the cryptocurrencies . After you got an idea how things work here try to trade BTC/USD and USD/BTC ; it's the easiest thing you can do . If you can aim 2-3% a day of that 100$ you can make 60-90% at final of the month

Holding $100 in altcoin won't do much because this year has not shown much sign for altcoin achievement. The best would have been trading but the amount is discouraging .

Starting with 100$ doesn't matter and in fact, I started only with 50$ when I am starting in trading although I lost it all because I am just a newbie at that time. If you want to start trading. Maybe these can things can help you.

1. Read, Watch and Learn - Do these 3 because in order for you to be a successful trader, you must be a learner all the time. The one who doesn't want to read or learn and they just trade with no knowledge are the ones who lose their money. Make sure you are learner and you will succeed.

2. Have a mentor that will lead you all the way - If you want to be a successful one, you must have one mentor that will guide to you because if you do it yourself, there is a chance that you don't know what you are doing. Sometimes doing it alone makes you overwhelm and in the end, you will not do trading anymore. Having a mentor is the best way if you want to start trading.

My advise is you should build up more capital because what you have is very small, it won't give you the swings that the market deserves. Also, try to research very well before going for it.

The capital is too small, it will just eat up all your money when doing transactions in exchange, before, that amount of money is enough for starting capital but today is different, bitcoin's price continues to move up.

For your question, watch some videos in youtube to familiarize yourself betweeng buying and selling, educate yourself on how to read candle sticks (technical analysis) this is very important, ask some question here in the forum some very good trader here are giving their best to answers your question just be specific.

You can start trading at any exchanger like :
Binance, Bitfinex, Huobi, Gate etc

They are some of the well known exchangers around where you can easily make happening trades as they do receive great number of coins and volume which is important for a trader.

Investment about : $ 100

This can survive but you will have to trade some low valued coins so that you can get more margins from them. If you buy costly coins then off course the margin increases in the buy and sell wall getting you in trouble. So try undervalued coins then you are good to go.

I would suggest TRX, XVG, XRP to get started for your trade.

I would not suggest trading to you with $100, rather you should buy a undervalued coin and hodl it you can make more money in this way without experience, because trading is very risky for beginners.

If you're still a newbie you need to know what is the basic like buy and sell, for $100 you can start that amount but don't expect to high return because if you want to earn a lot more you need to make a funds like $1000-2000, anyways that amount ( $100 ) is like an tuition fee 'cuase you can learn if you do a mistake, so good luck and welcome to word of crypto.

$100 is not bad if you are a beginner. If you are looking for the long run, then buy some bitcoins. The price is expensive I know. But we all know that bitcoin always faces its ups and downs. Sometimes it goes up to the moon, and sometimes it goes down to the underworld. That is why when it goes down, buy some coins and wait for it until it goes up again because it surely will. That is what has been happening to it.

You can start with $100. If you choose the right altcoin, then you may have $1k in months or by the end of the year. There are plenty of coins that will x10 over the course of months or a year.

$100 worth of BTC isn't enough to start day trading. $1000 is a much better start. If you make a 2% gain 3-5 times a day, then that's $100 a day. Making those small trades with altcoins is definitely possible. Use RSI and Bollinger Bands indicators + constantly watch out for news on BTC or altcoins.

It is no doubt not an easy thing to become a trader and that it needs you to put in lot of efforts, only then you can expect to learn something good which can then help you in becoming a successful trader. The best thing to do is to concentrate on learning more things and more skills which can then help you in making some better plan and strategy. Keep on gaining more experience by getting into the trade.

Sure you can start trading even with $100,but trading bitcoin with that amount is not possible to cover the enough fees so start reading with altcoins is good choice and also pick the coin based on the coinmarket cap value better to start with stable valued coin. And also pick the roght exchange with low fee to make enough profits.

If you want to trade, first you must find an exchange. for example binance.
create an account on binance exchange, and you can deposit your money there.
after depositing some money, you can buy cryptocurrency such as bitcoin on the exchange using your money, then start trading.

If you are a newbie in this forum do not invest in cryptocurrency so try to gain some knowledge in block chain technology and crypto platform.so automatically you are understand the price prediction then only you will earn some profit. My best suggestion is Ethereum and Bitcoin is the long term investment.

With the money you have then you are very suitable to do Trading with the value of cheap coin prices. You can follow some ICO or buy coin with a cheap price, usually the coin is new.

You are not enough with that kind of money if you want to trade Bitcoin or Etherum. Although the prospect is very good but you will not get huge amount of profit. I think it is the best choice for now. Oh yes never give up if you fail, because a failure is the beginning to a success.

After that, for me trading on cryptocurrency needed some luck. You can always set your daily goal (ex. 1%) but you could loosing a lot in 1 day because it's so unpredictable.

Right, I also started with $100 and the most important in trading is that you tend to accept the fact that you may lose that $100 and you still afford to go on with trading even in that losing situation. But you see, there are more knowledge we have to instill first in ourselves before we finally decided to enter this kind of field. The uptrends, downtrends, bullisj/bearish momentum in the market can help you predict how  trading works.

Somehow, you can divide that $100 of yours into 3 altcoins to prevent continuos and huge loss. You can always start with that amount as long as you set aside your emotions 'coz it may probably affect your mode in trading.

$ 100 will not get you much profit and it only costs you a lot of time to trade. I think you should look at ICO projects and invest in it. Good ICO projects are very much available and you have to analyze carefully before investing.
Make money from bounty campaigns, use that money to invest and become rich. easy! ;D

100 dollar is good start just for testing if trading will be difficult to you to earn  then find other way to earn money . you will earn just small amount using 100 dollar of capital. Your lucky if you get 100% in first try but its hard  to do that. You need high capiral to earn highest income but its too risky for begginers.

If you only have a small capital for trading, it is strongly recommended that you do not use large lots when trading. By using a small lot you will reduce the stress when you suffer losses because your losses are not as much when you use the standard lot, ie 1: 1.

If you do not have any Idea on how to trade then do not worry where you can trade because there are plenty of reputable platforms in this market, what you should be worried first is how to trade, learn first the basic of block chain and trading.
If you are already a trade in a different market and you just want to venture in crypto I personally use Binance and Crytopia, but there are also other platforms.

If you know how to trade definitely that $100 will survive if that is what you only want "survive", if you do not know how to trade then kiss that $100 goodbye.

can $100 survive in trading?

if you do trade with USDT - BTC then you can have some profit, but for this you will have to be good at doing trade. for example:

You buy Neo for $53. then you sell when the price is $72, see that you now make a profit, and repeat the same process. The problem here is that you will have many dollars only, while you trade with altcoin-bitcoin, you increase your bitcoin and when bitcoin increases in value you have a lot of profit. But to trade altcoin - bitcoin, you must have at least 0.1 btc.

My advice would be for you to buy bitcoin and hold for some time

That amount of funds can start and can survive on trading but don't expect that you can earn big profits with that small amount of funds. In trading, if you have a high amount of bitcoins or ethereum, the more chances that you can make big profits. There is only one basic concept in trading, buy coins/tokens on a low price and if the price of your altcoin increases then it is the time for you to sell or hold it for a meantime.

depending on how skillful you are trading, and set your goals, say 5%, and most importantly if you can afford to lose the money, because in the trading everything is not predictable, there is no guarantee you will profit every day.

Yes you must first follow a market month so you can see the high volatility of the currency price of kriptocurrancy. Bitcoin / USD and USD / Bitcoin are the easiest things you can do. Many ways to learn about predictions in a way that helps you to start trading.

The important thing is, can you affrod that $100 if you lose in trading?
After that, for me trading on cryptocurrency needed some luck. You can always set your daily goal (ex. 1%) but you could loosing a lot in 1 day because it's so unpredictable.
If in ordinary trading we can calculate the profit directly by summing the difference in buying and selling rates, unlike the case with online trading where we must calculate the lot size in the calculation first. Learn maximally before you actually dive to trade.

100 USD for a beginner is not a bad idea for a start if only you know how to go about it, entering and existing trade. Then you can buy low and sell high on a coin that has more volume and volatile. But since 100 USD is low, you must reduce your lot size per trade.

No it's not but i've got a better idea , Have you heard of paper trading ? it is like Demo trading but since binance doesn't have Demo part , I suggest it  , that you trade on paper , Imagine you got 1 bitcoin and write your decisions and losses or profits , i suggest it one month before you go to trading , you will learn something by that and hopefully you can use the experiences to real trading and it helps you to prevent doing some of the mistakes .

If you want to trade, first you must find an exchange. for example binance.
create an account on binance exchange, and you can deposit your money there.
after depositing some money, you can buy cryptocurrency such as bitcoin on the exchange using your money, then start trading.
Trading is not that much easy thing to do that you will learn the tactics of trading in no time. you must burn your midnight oil and that you must keep on grinding harder so that you may exactly know what to do and when to do. If you managed to learn this trick, then there can be no other thing which can stop you from getting richer and that trading will then help you in earning much more money than your imaginations.

you can start from learning technical analysis of the chart, also from news analysis. $100 more than enough to start trade. Some good article about trading you can find on Investopedia.
Trading is an easy job. You have to be learned enough to deal with every kind of situation in the market. You should learn to buy low and sell high. You should also learn to buy high when there is a rising trend in the price level. You should learn to hold the coins in the red market and sell them out when you have a good margin of profit. The psychological game of waiting should be clear to you.

You can start in Binance and yes, its possible to start trading with $100. You should start with the best less than $1 cryptocurrency mostly altcoins and buy and hold them for a long period of time. Know that the coins you should be holding and purchasing are coins that can worth something in future and have a good project. Probably,  if you see your profit from it, you can then invest in other cryptos .

Some people are getting bore in this current market while some are taking benefit of it. We should follow the rules of trading in this market as the market is a little bit unstable and the value is near to 8k dollar so this market is favorable for short term trading as the value is not proceeding ahead of 10k dollar and is in between 8k dollar and 9.5k dollar. Now this market is favorable for short term trading.

with start capital $100, i will not suggest you to do daily trading because it more has high risk with the market trend still unstable for now, and you will be loss your money by cut-loss / panic sell only. With $100, just buy Bitcoin or Ethereum and keep/hold it for a month at least then you can figure out how it works.

Now the crypto-currency market is full of manipulation, so the support and resistance lines often do not work. The market cycle has psychology. In the search engine you can find "wall street cheat sheet". The most clear: buy in the area of market depression and sell in the euphoria zone when the whole market is flies up the parabola. The other variants are very unpredictable.

There are many altcoin that are breaking and can increase in the long run, so you plan to trade them.

$100 is good amount to start trading for beginner.  Use exchange that offer many potential coin like Huobi  and gate.io , use $50 for buy 2 coins and other $50 keep in fiat and use it for buy coin when first open potition  in lose.  Don't all use money to open potition  at the same times. This is way to avoid big loss when price of crypto drop at the sametimes.

If you want to trade while you're newbie you can hold your coin and wait for a months or years.

im you buys crypto with your 100$ just put it in altcoin and hold it for a long time . im afraid that your capital will just be loss in transaction fees if you engage in frequent trading.

Holding an altcoin isn't the best way to learn how to trade. I suggest you try to find one promising alt and buy it with less than half of your wallet. Etherium could be good deposit for the rest of your balance. Next try to learn about different kind of indicators (ie. RSI+MACD) and also I recommend Elliot Wave studies. It ain't that hard to grasp and it's a nice tool for TA.

If you are a newbie in this forum do not invest in cryptocurrency so try to gain some knowledge in block chain technology and crypto platform.so automatically you are understand the price prediction then only you will earn some profit. My best suggestion is Ethereum and Bitcoin is the long term investment.
Knowledge is very necessary and a lot of people always discard that first until they realize they are doing themselves more harm than good by losing a lot thinking they can just easily start trading without it. $100 though is a good start for someone who have been able to even learn some certain things over time and want to start putting those knowledge to good use and practice they say brings about perfection and you do not want to achieve that perfection by starting with a huge amount of money you cannot afford to lose as that may sometimes set in emotion.

BUT, be attentive, cause there are a lot of scums, which can take your moey and go phut. I can help with finding projects, which can you invest. I know one. It`s TraceTo. In my opinion, before everything, you must learn the basics of trading and you can read some books like, cryptocurrency trading and investing, cryptocurrency beginners bible..., they can help you to understand many things related to cryptocurrencies. Furthermore, you should learn how to read the analysis of the market so well and understand the different situations (crisis, .jump..) in order to deal with them wisely.

In addition to that, patience is the key of success in trading and it is very essential to guarantee an acceptable profit especially in a long term. Otherwise, the greed is the  opposite, Unfortunately, it leads to large and multiple financial losses, so you must  avoid this obstacle. and trust me, Losses are always present in trading especially in the starting,  when you learn from those failed experiences, then  your next attempts will be better and more profitable.

Learning by doing is the right step to start trading because from there you'll see how difficult make money with trading platform. Never give up and good luck to you.
The easiest way to keep oneself safe from loss when the investment amount is not a big one is doing long term trading. When a person holds his asset for a long time, he comes to understand it better by observing it keenly during the whole duration. Once he will acquire this knowledge, it is very unlikely of him to get into big troubles. But I will like to advise an increment in this amount by joining a signature campaign.

Observation is actually the key in trading. Once you are interested in bitcoins and trading in them, you must be supposed to see keenly what the market is doing with them. If you are unaware of market, and you really don’t know what is going on, all your efforts could be on stake. You need to work on this point and strengthen the beam over which you are just taking up the mark.

Sometimes losing money in crypto makes you a successful trader in the future. As the saying goes, experience is the best teacher. So as you go on your trading journey, losing is not that bad as long as you can experience and not make the same mistakes over and over again. I didn't watch any videos when I started my trading journey, I just put up like a small amount then try to get a feel on how the market works. Of course I lost most of my capital in the beginning but it gives me a lot of valuable lessons.

Since you are new to crypto currencies, you should be learning how the crypto currency market works. The market does not work like the traditional trade/stock market. They vary a lot. You can learn from youtube or this forum. Then once you get to know about the basics, find coins that are undervalued but has potential and start investing on those coins. Best to start with small investments.

By $100 you can start by invest on good coin or bitcoin. You may try long term investment first as newbie, by only buying then hold your coin for some months to gain the profit, and then sell it when you think that you have gained profit.

I think that You should start by registering to exchanges you want to trust. For a list of good exchanges to register too, you might want to refer to this guide.
This is critical decision one can made. The thing is we don’t have to be following the stupid rules that you are just newbie and you are thinking about where to go for trading. No, this isn’t that much important right now. The thing that would be affecting you mainly is to make sure the coin you are going to select must be adhered with best performance and energy to make your life easy.

It’s still quite difficult to tell precisely the currencies that will stand the test of time or even those that will flop. So having a portfolio of currencies is a great strategy

Bottom line is if you don`t know how to trade hold. It`s what I do, holding is the easier way to be involved
more and to have some profit in the end.
I believe I will start to trade, eventually. That will happen when I have some nice stash of coins, not before
that. It`s not smart to trade and risk everything you have. For making shortages, for trading you need to have
back-up, if things goes wrong way to have funds to apply different kind of strategies. I think for trading you
need to have coins`s and money, when drop doesn`t stopping you need to be able to buy more in that dips,
when price is rising you need to have a lot of coins to dump them little by little until the top.

Well, you can start trading with as low as $10 but still, I would recommend you invest your time before investing your money. Try to understand the market and do your own research, develop your own trading strategies. I have lost my entire capital multiple time in my initial days of trading so don't blindly follow others opinion. Practical trading is the best way I know to gain experience and learn trading.

Perfect minimum, each defines for himself. You should always manage risk, manage inventory, follow trends, just like anyone else in any business for profit.
Trading is something which needs years to learn and that it is not like that you will become a trader in a week or so. You must put in your best of the best to grab as much information regarding different things as you can and that you must be sure that you are dealing with the right coins. Stay patient and think very well before making any final decision and that do not panic no matter how hard the things are.

Briefly, the process of trading is as follows.
1) The first step is creating an account on a chosen exchange and verifying it. Then select the payment method for money depositing, and after that going to the trading section, where you will have to choose the trading pair you need and place orders. Also, before starting, you should mind the risks involved and study as much about the trading patterns and strategies as you can.
2) It's highly recommended picking a company with good reputation, which can offer not only exchange but also a wallet in order to make the process easier for beginners. But I would advise keeping most of the assets on your own wallet.
3) If you're novice and doesn't have much expertise yet start with really small amounts, just to give it a try. There are even trading simulators-https://www.makeuseof.com/tag/bitcoin-cryptocurrency-trading-simulators/ so you can first practise.
4) As for coins, I believe it's better to start with cheaper ones (given your budget) and then turn to more sophisticated.
5) Talking about trading websites, GDAX is often recommended, as it's a good start for trading cryptos. But I would also mention cex, it's quite easy in use and also has some trading guides - https://cex.io/. Still your choice will depend mostly on what country you live in.

Before you start to trade you should learn a lot.
youtube, twitter, telegram channels and of course BOOKS — the best source of knowledge
After you spend some time on education and following market, you can start paper trading
You can use Google sheets or Trading View paper trading mode for it

Remember — don't risk your money for the first time. The market will take your money.

To be successful in trading, collect good strategies of individuals who experience trading and must watch the video in how to trade in risky one. Be careful that profitable trading is a full-time job. A trader should:

Constantly follow cryptocurrency news
Make technical analysis
Study fundamental analysis
Educate yourself and stay up to date

Is an occupation that requires constant attention when we talk about the normal stock market, and this is amplified if we're talking about cryptocurrencies which are subject to rapid and enormous (unreasonable some time) price movements.

I remembered in my first few days of trading, I started with $100 just to get acquainted with the market. The truth is that despite the learning, it took a hard time to actually get used to the volatility of the market as almost everything is centered on bitcoin and it would take some experience to always put that into perspective most of the time.

If you make some mistakes, over time you will end up finding a strategy that may end up suiting you better and then build some confidence on that before even considering going big. If you want to trade perfect, I would even say you must find series of articles online and see how you can actually use the knowledge from those articles to increase your chances of a good trade at the end of it all.

It is not that easy to trade and it is easy as well, but the fact is that you have to learn a whole lot before hitting an exchange first and start by practicing what you have learned with few until you are sure you are better trading in any trend that you find yourself in the market.

You can start with any amount in this space and they don't get $10 commission per trade but rather a % which helps the little guy out a lot. I would advise going to Youtube and watching a couple introductory videos on Bitcoin and what cryptocurrencies are. After that I would get well acquainted with the exchange software prior to making trades. Then do a couple of tester trades after you do some research. After that it is all about trying to have more winners than losers, or bigger winners than losers and some enough you will be one of us :).

But as here you are at newbie stage so I would like to suggest you that try to learn the basic best trading ideas , like find the top most altcoins and then find that altcoin out of them which is at down since long time and then they Coin will give opportunity to make earnings easily .
So here i will say best of luck and try your best to put in This field otherwise only wastage of time and money will take place .

Each person has a different investment strategy and I think that if the strategy is successful then it will be true in each stage. I often divide my capital into many parts to invest, including BTC, ICO and ALTCOIN. This division of capital helps me reduce the risk in trading and have more opportunities to increase profits when investing.

With the right set up, it is actually possible to attain that and the right setup anyway comes with a good knowledge for a good strategy to play safe in a very complex market like this. Normally, the better way is to start with something reasonable, but for someone who is just starting for the first time in this market, it is always better to be careful knowing how the market is most of the time and how it can actually be hard to trade it without some experience at least with something little.

A person starts trading is the first sentence in the market, when, how and where are the three basic questions. Try to invest in your self first, as long as you are doing with knowledge you will not face any difficulty and this will lead you towards the market success. There are many exchanges through which you can trade simply for example Coinbase, Binance and Bitrex are the recommended and rated exchanges. Select the coin and sell it on any of the exchanges that will give you profit if you know how to get the profit.

The market is volatile and difficult to predict, so at this point, you should not trade, you can see that bitcoin prices are constantly fluctuating and fake in recent days. That has made the prices of altcoin are constantly decreasing, the trade at this point will be very difficult. So you should wait for the market to stabilize to be able to trade.
