Title: BitOfGlory.com - here's another one.
Post by: reikokuko on January 15, 2014, 05:54:00 AM
WHOIS dates to the 4th and is private.  They are claiming to be under the company Dynastacks (a major hosting company).  Dynastacks has public registration information, been around since 2005 (at least their domain has), and has no mention, links or ties to BitOfGlory.

I was greeted right away with a chat at Bit Of Glory, didn't need to put in my name, or any information, and nonetheless, the chat agent did not have the professionalism I would expect  from a company as reputable and big as Dynastacks. And of course when I point that out, all of a sudden, the agent started using capitalizations, spelled out his words and proper punctuation.  No more 'lols' and emoticons.

My verdict: Stay away.

Roy H.How can I help with your hosting needs?

Client what hardware?

Roy H.Butterfly Labs Monarch

Client when start?

Roy H.no more than 24 hours

depends on our queue

Client monarch not exist yet

Roy H.yea it is does.. we have a direct partnership with them

we operate our own data center facilities

www.Dynastack.com

we have contracts with tons of hardware suppliers

just isnt available to the general public as of yet

but they started shipping early january

Client I will be free reviewer for you for bitcointalk.org

Roy H.ehh that site is full of liars

and competitors

getting over on companies

its ok :)

we have tons of real miners here.. who dont have time to sit on forums all day

the real whales - dont tell people their secrets or how they do things

it's the gossipers on bitcointalk.org who confuse people

we are as reputable in the hosting and cloud industry as any

if you do your due diligence

bitcoin miners all of a sudden start telling us how we are scammers

and that is as far from the truth as anything

8:16 am anyone who calls someone a scammer, is a scammer. Especially someone who hasn't even tried our servicee
https://bitcointalk.…k.org/index.php?topic=416688.0

like this guy

says we arnt owned by Dynastack

which is obviously untrue

if you go to Dynastack.com right now

our chat will pick up instantly

that's why we are considering keeping the miners we have

and closing our service

and continuing to sell cloud like we have been

we don't want any part of this business truly

haha

its no good man

90% of the customers in this industry

are scammers

they only want to pay by credit card

so they can chargeback after mining

its sad man

the miners will kill off their own industry

after we get out - data centers wont touch this industry with a ten foot pole

8:19 am we were the first to experiment

yes, we found some good customers

but 90% of them are cheaterswe were the first to experiment

yes, we found some good customers

but 90% of them are cheaters

they even hate companies like butterfly labs

and talk bad about them

not realizing that - the CEO of that company works hard to get those cards out

8:20 am and has a real business

but according to these "expert" miners..

he is a scam right?

very very sad

cloud customers dont act this way

hosting customers dont act this way

it's only these "special" bitcoin miners

lol

real linux admins laugh at this stuff

its childs play

We cut and pasted a chat with that site rather clumsily, so apologies.

I'm not qualified to comment further

Although slightly creeped out at how quickly you were able to poke holes in this I am feeling the same way. Something just felt off. I can't put my finger on it but I believe something isn't right. Going to investigate further. If any "liars, competitors etc" have any info please share. Dynastack is legit, so is this just a case of their sales chat being owned or something?

edit: for some reason I thought i recognized the name but no one seems to actually know them. May have recently went under or some other shenanigans, the 866hosting is a bit odd.

I felt manipulated, like someone was pushing me and I wasn't sure why. Kinda timeshare-presentation-dirty aftertaste. Person used several timeshare sales tactics that I was able to pick up but could have been just an overly ambitious kid trying to make a buck.

Also, should be noted, even if they deliver on a few small contracts, could be easily purchased off of ebay and then setup as a short term bait into a larger contract. I would consider going in on a small contract if someone wants to test the waters (after reaching out to parent company tomorrow during regular business hours).

That whole chat thing can be pretty convincing that BOG is under Dynastack, but as that was the focal point of the sales rep's proof of relation to Dynastack, I'm starting to think maybe they did get owned.  There is absolutely no news about Dynastack opening up this child entity.

Also, the BOG website is hosted in Kansas somewhere and according to Dynastack's website, they don't have a datacenter there.  Also, Dynastack's SSL certificate's meta-data is thoroughly filled out, and BOG's is blank.  Probably beating a dead horse here but this one seems to be a bit more elaborate if it is a scam.

At this point, I'd like to know if anyone has been paid by a mining contract of theirs.  It says they pay out weekly, so if this company is legit, someone should be able to vouch for them really soon.

I set up an account as of Friday with Bit of  Glory. So far I received excellent service. I have not yet tried to wire any profits back to my account. That will be the real test.
From what I understand they just started this site in Jan. of this year. Sounds like they have some bugs to iron out which is understandable.

Thank you,

Scam?

Considering that they're claiming the have BFL Monarchs -- the ASICs for which are being bumped / sliced / packaged at this moment, and which have not shipped in any way, shape, or form -- I'd say it's a pretty good bet that this is a scam.

Quoted from BFL_Josh, TWO days ago:

"Test chips have arrived at the testing facility today, I'm told they are going to start testing tonight, but have no information on how long that process will take and whether I will have any further information tonight or tomorrow or how long that will take specifically. I will update again when I have more information, but the testing process is imminent and should answer all the lingering questions and doubt.'scuse me while I go pace the halls."

It's been over a week, and we haven't heard back from Dgdistrb on this.

I'm thinking that either (a) newbie got scammed, or (b) newbie was in on it. In both cases, newbie seems to have disappeared.

To anyone that wants to know the truth about bitofglory.com, masters of mining LLP, Dynastack Inc, Dynalayer Inc. Call me 214.326.7521. I am the CFO of Dynastack Inc. or I was until Jared Rice aka Thomas, John, Joe... you get the picture, stole control of the company and ran, yet to be located. The whole bit coin thing is a scam. Jared is trying to use the reputation of what was an honest hosting/IT company, that I funded to the tune of 1.5 mil.  I have started legal action against Jared and his minions. If you have yet to become involved, DONT!!! If you have and want to help stop these thieves, contact me.

I signed up Tuesday of last week. I received excellent service and signed up for 5 TH/s. Their dashboard is really good the BTC earned in this week is consistent with what I would have with physical hardware. I have actually received a payout which is scheduled weekly. My first payout I requested earlier on that Sunday to see if it was legit. They told me that it took two days to process and I would receive through bitpay. I did in fact receive 6.6btc from them on Tuesday, two days after Sunday as stated.

So far so good!

You guys are really a bunch of stupid group-think trolls lol its kind of funny actually! Could honestly give two shits whether or not you think its legit, absolutely your loss if you think that it is a scam! All I know is I have received a payout and so far from where I stand it doesn't seem or feel like a scam. Why would a scammer pay me out?

I am not an employee of Bit of Glory and am just letting you know my experience! I have been burned in the past. Stupidly signed up for bitcoincloudhashing which is the biggest fucking scam around. Lost $14,500. Signed up for bitofglory after verifying dynastack and checking them out. If you ask Dynastack they would be happy to give you a tour of the facility and meet face to face in Dallas.

You should accuse the company, http://dynastack.com/, of scamming if you did not get a refund yet and the company still exists in US.

Anyway, the copyright of "dynastack" has been removed from the footer in bitofglory.com a few days ago. I think that it shows a lack of integrity.

Hello Guys,

i am new one to the bitcoin forum now, but i have to say also that BITOFGLORY is a scam...i was one of first customers, they offer me 2TH/s for 1500USD, i didnt bealive it. i thought it is a preorder or something like that. But in the chat with ROY H, he told me i can have the 2 TH/s for 1500USD and they are online in 2 hours, when i pay with paypal. So i paid with paypal. I have the invoice still im my mail inbox i can show it if someone wants...., after 2 weeks, they told me that the paypal account of dynalayer is locked, so i thought i was making business with dynastack?? anyways..ROY-H told me again i should put a claim on my paypal payment, so i can get money back, they cannot refund money back because paypal close their account...SO WHAT THE FUCK????...they said to me also...that my contract is still online and they know the problem is on the dynastack/dynalayer side..(i dont know whats the fucking combination with this dynastack/dynalayer shit???)..so i put the claim on the payment as suggested from ROY-H, but i told him my contract is still active and i want the login to bog...its not my fucking problem if they have problems with paypal..( probebly someone before me paid with paypal and didnt get the login, so he put the claim....so its normal paypal close the account for dynalayer/dynastack...fuck i dont know what company..)

After writing emails to CEO "jared rice"...he promissed me he will get the account for me next morning....What happened ---no account, next day i was talking to ROY-H in this chat window...and he was supprised why i didnt get login...finally 10 min later i get login.

And now DRAMA beginns...as i had my login, i saw there was 4.8 BTC, i thought ok...lets see what is happening...next day there was 5.6 BTC,...next day...7.6BTC.....next day...28 BTC (WHAT THE FUCK?)...on the same day 2 hours later there was only 4.8 BTC again on the account.....WHAT THE FUCK AGAIN ??? if someone dont bealive me, i took snapshots every day, i can send it to you if you dont bealive me.

As i have described this issue to CEO fron DYNASTACK "Jared Rice",...next day the Bitofglory homepage was offline, nobody can login anymore....

they never signed anything to take my.money. I basicly am.not ever going to get paid back.  This criminal reads this forum .. he refrenced to my earlier statements saying he disnt appteciate me venting my frustration on here... and basicly if i persisted he would stop talking to me and sue me for defimation.. those are his threats. FUCKING GO AHEAD AND SUE ME YOU KUNT!  Ive lost 6.6 BTC to these criminals and if i didnt live in another country id take legal action against these Obvious criminals.

I reciently lost my job and the bitcoin contract purchase was an attempt at generating some income to feed my 3 children. This person told me on friday that His attourney would be in touch with me on Monday !! Well ITs Monday asshole. Nothing ....

hI aLL,

I had the same scam issue with BOG.

To start with I made the stupid mistake and paid bitcoins through coinbase. I guess I can still prove thought coinbase I paid the money.

The next issue was their hashing was off few bucks so that made me think there was something fishy. But it also opens the door for me to make a claim against them because the service was not as advertised.

Then Roy H promissed I would get my refund. Of course I didn't. They always say they will do something in 24 hours but it never happens. It is so frustrating to loose money that way.

Then we received an email from management saying that they had been hacked and they will double the time lost at the end of the contract. It is a joke because by that time with the network difficulty and the hashing power you have will bring you nothing. Why would you treat people like idiots. They are accumulating a lot of angry people.

The next thing is customer service for dynastack is very unprofessional. they are talking like they are on the street, no understanding of how to respond customers. I found them very unprofessional and disrespectful. Can't understand how a decent size business would even work with them but anyways.

Now, I am not sure if they really got hacked or they scam people's money or they hash some bitcoins and sold to some illegal organizations for cash.

We all know dynastack is the owner of this company. They mentioned this to many people so they can't deny this in the court of justice. We can get organize and do the following so that people like that would not scam honest people like us.

1. We report to consumer protection agencies in an organized way - everybody will report individually so they will have a lot of complaints and that will make it harder for them to do business. Also those agencies will contact them. I will give you a list of URLS to start that process.

2. We report this to media  - we will individually contact to main media hubs so potential victoms or people who does business or who would potentially do business with them will think twice.

3. We report this to law enforcement agencies - they should be investigated in case they are involved in money laundering - the customer service said they are restoring the systems but it didn't at all. If they have the hardware where did all this bitcoins go? where are there. did the owner of the company sold those to a criminal for cash or what. I don't know. But I want to make sure my money didn't go to a dark place.

4. we post about the business and how they victimized us to major forums so every search about them on google shows those posts. since they are not able to professionally protect their systems and restore the systems in a reasonable time frame they don't deserve to serve professional business in my opinion. They are advertising wrongly.

5. after all we file law suit all together - I am not saying the details of the law suit but we can talk later - probably they will read this post and will get ready to the details. so we don't want them to be prepared or manipulate potential evidences. I have so many years of experience in IT, perhaps there are more experienced people among us, so we know how to articulate how they would scam us and how to catch them.

6. All those money they collected and hashed is in their custody. Did they pay their taxes to IRS? are they really an honest business? I asked but nobody sent me an invoice. potential tax fraud right there. so we can all report them to IRS as well.

if we do this acts in an organized way I believe they will have a hard time to do their scam like business. We all victimized by them. They are constantly lying people. One customer rep promises for refund another one says they don't do refunds... they are not honest.

so if you want to join me on this please send and email to stewardthomas@yahoo.com

we will make them pay for screwing honest people.... let's do it.

Hmmmm something is off here, they claim 1Th/s contract on BFL hardware that hasn't been released yet.  Then we have people claiming they've mined on said contracts here... At the least, you should consider it as a scam warning.  They should at least state pre-order for the contracts.

I think yo are a liar. Could please tell us when you bought a contract and when you got paid out. Are you able to mine right now?

If you are victim of BitofGlory - dynastack.com - Jared Rice you may contact to us stewardthomas@yahoo.com and join us on our actions against this business and Jared Rice.

Hi everyone, this is the real Michael Miller ( CFO of what WAS a real company "DYNASTACK INC.")  I had made a post several weeks ago about the fraudulent activities being conducted under the guise of being DYNASTACK AND OR RELATED TO DYNASTACK. I had left my phone number and received several communications from people claiming to be defrauded out of lots of money. I apologize for discontinuing my communications, but I had suspected that some of the people that had reached out to me were in fact Jared Rice and his cohorts fishing for info!! I have read all of your post and find myself sickened by their actions. I would like to confirm that I am not, nor have I ever been involved in the fraud taking place. DYNASTACK has been hijacked by Jared Rice, Tony Caldevilla, Stanley Ford, Mike Miller (NOT ME, BUT ANOTHER MIKE MILLER) I know that that sounds far fetched, but true!!  I was the registered agent on the real DYNASTACK INC. and have found myself with my hands tied. I can not dissolve the company without everyone approval and given the circumstances don't see that happening anytime soon. I have been left being the publicly facing person to deal with the aftermath of their misconduct. If anyone thinks that they have been talking to me concerning ANY business with DYNASTACK, DYNALAYER, BITOFGLORY or ANY other company, you are wrong!! I don't know if they are using my name or not, but do see it listed among the people that you think are involved. All that I can say at this point is that going to the authorities is the RIGHT thing to do!! Since I don't know who to trust anymore, don't count on me to be of much assistance unless you contact me with the authorities in tow. I want nothing more than to see the bunch of lying thieves pay the piper, but sadly enough am the least informed of us all.... You guys have all of the firer power in your corner via wire transfers, checks, credit card payments etc. etc. DON'T LET THESE GUYS GET AWAY WITH THIS!!! THEY HAVE ALREADY DESTROYED MY LIFE. DYNASTACK WILL NEVER AGAIN BE ABLE TO CONDUCT LEGIT BUSINESS. If and when you contact the authorities PLEASE let me help them. I will never again see a dime of my life savings spent to build DYNASTACK INC., but you people CAN get your money back if you act quickly enough. I once again leave my contact number, but please only contact me if you can prove that your not in bed with Jared and his gang. I prefer to speak with the authorities, but will try my best to help anyone willing to come to Dallas and meet me in person. I will even accompany you to our local authorities offices to file the complaint if you so desire.

With my most sincere heart felt sorrow,

We all know this guy mike is most likely fictional, just another tactic used by these scammers to dissuade people from investigating them further.

I got scammed out of 2.4btc by this bunch of scummy wankers. Lucky I only took the smaller package, around that time i was considering investing a lot more in cloud mining, this put me completely off it.

Not only did they rob me, also threatened me because they have my address (which doesn't intimidate me whatsoever, but I can see that's what they were aiming for), funny thing is they wouldn't get out alive if they came near my place, well certainly wouldn't be able to walk for a few months.

Funny thing is this scammer is probably really proud of himself... but all the effort he went to why the fuck didn't he just focus on making money legitimately. OK yes for the few weeks he operated he would have made 100% profit and plenty of sales,  but how long will that last until you need to start scamming again from scratch.. He mustn't realised that there is shit loads of money to be made legitimately on the internet (or else just doesn't have the brains to find these opportunities). I make a decent living working for myself on the net with VERY little effort, probably less effort daily than he put in to that live chat (and that's not to mention all the extra profit I made from sales paid in bitcoin, i have held most since they were <$10 each... so i really only got scammed $24, i know that's not true but i like to think that cuz makes me feel better about it)

Karma's a bitch, this scammer will eventually get what is coming to him.

Most of what you say is spot on, except the part about me!! You didn't even call me, so how the fuck can you call me fictional? I have no sympathy for you stupid fucks that get involved despite my warnings..... Karma is a bitch and they ARE going to get whats coming to them, Trust me!!!
Patience is a virtue my friend....... Quit whining on a forum and contact the authorities!!!!  Don'y worry about their threats either, LMAO!!! The pussies won't even come face to face with me, they are cowards!!! but I see them ;)  My life is dedicated to having that face to face.

Methud was not a scam as far as I can see. They have however decided not to offer mining, they have already refunded my payment.
