Let's make more companies to accept bitcoin payment.

I have send email to some companies in the UK to ask them to add Bitpay as a payment option.

Let's start an Operation Bitcoin. All of us send emails to companies to ask them to accept bitcoin.  :)

I do the same anytime there a local spot I like eating/shopping at.  It's getting easier and easier to convince merchants to try out accepting bitcoin. Now that it's been all over the news the last year and large merchant are already starting to accept it it' turned into a snowball effect.  The reception I get from merchant when I talk about bitcoin now compared to just a year or two ago i really amazing, quite a few place are interested and willing to contact coinbase or bitpay on getting set up to accept bitcoin.

2013 was a breakthrough year for bitcoin. 2014 should be a breakthrough year for merchant adoption imo.

So the way to do it, is to tell them to implement Coinbase or Bitpay? I have asked Amazon UK, and the sister company of Tiger DIrect in the UK and many smaller businesses, which I like to buy stuff from them.

Lol, you could just email the support at each merchant and say that you were going to buy whatever the most expensive item they have, but you only have bitcoins to spend, so you are going to have to buy it somewhere else that accepts bitcoin. Haha

I suppose your "sales pitch" is up to you, but personally I like to point out payment providers such as coinbase or bitpay since a common response I've received from local business owners is "why would I accept something that's so volatile". After explaining that a payment processor remove any risk of volatility and you still receive funds in the dollar amount that the product was sold for regardles of the value of bitcoin their fears tend to fade away.

Personally I like to focus on local/small businesses. Often times they are small enough businesses that micotransactions and accepting credit cards is a bit of a headache for them on the already small profit margins they earn. Also I like to believe large corporations already have enough tech savy people in their company that the topic of bitcoin is something they are already aware of and or looking into.  That' just my personal view though.

Best of luck to you. When you talk to a merchant and they agree to accept bitcoin or at the very least look into it,  it's a very rewarding feeling :)

for sales pitches use examples of great successes such as TigerDirect.com.  Proven examples go far in convincing business heads that accepting Bitcoin will boost the bottom line substantially.

I would say that the quality of requests to the larger merchants is not as important as the volume of requests.

Of course, if it is to a small company then the quality is important, as it may involve explaining a few details and answering queries. But quality when approaching a larger organisation would only be significant if you were pitching to a key decision maker.

Great idea though. If anything what people can do is continue to educate others on Bitcoin. Penetrate the market (general public) with information, establish the foundations, and the moment they hear it in the media they will have an iota of knowledge going into the article/feature.

Yeah I agree with this. Of they can be educated first, the have the idea backed up by the media etc. it can be really powerful at influencing.

Oh snap, my first post!

I'm an entrepreneur and recently discovered BTC. I love it oh so much.

Some of my businesses are unable to accept it, however, one of them is perfect for it. I plan on accepting BTC as payment for content marketing services at ContentKungFu.com. I plan on rolling this out this week and pushing my existing clients to start paying in BTC.

I'm also starting to brainstorm other 'mainstream' business models that could benefit from accepting BTC.

I suppose my point is that it's not only about asking existing companies to accept BTC, but to create companies that do.

It's an exciting time to get involved with BTC and some of the alt coins (LTC and PPC seem promising).

Haha do it. Are they available on takeaway.com? They accept BTC lol.

Let's get some more effective and easy ways for people to buy Bitcoins first. Possibly provide a real reason to convert cash to purchase something with Bitcoin instead of just using the cash to purchase it directly. Unless, of course, you're simply looking to give miners more shopping options and really don't care if the greater populace of the world uses Bitcoin.

When is the last time you walked into a business and read a sign that said "we accept cash, credit card and gold coins for payment" so you decided to leave the store and go buy some gold coins to make your purchase?

When you get to the coin dealer you find out that you need a class on using gold coins before you can understand how to use them. Then you need to wait for your computer to download the history of every gold coin transaction that has ever happened. Yeah, that sounds efficient! O_o

My businesses have clients from all over the world. Handling payments in multiple currencies and dealing with outrageous international transfer fees is expensive. While I don't expect most people to pay with BTC/LTC, I do hope some of my clients will enjoy the ease of being able to do just that.

Wide adoption by one big company is all it takes. It will happen in time

I've contacted local stores to see if they would accept it no response from any of the stores I have contacted yet.

My business partner and I have decided to open up our web hosting company to accept Bitcoin, because we love it so much. We're implementing it this week and will be adding ourselves to the CoinMap. We're not the first hosting company to do it, but I believe we might be the first in the UK :)

The most common response I get is "What is Bitcoin?". We should start a campaign to tell more people how bitcoin works!

Dont bother contacting apple or bestbuy.

They wont even respond to you.

I'm expecting to hear this off a few companies but even if I can get one of the companies interested it would be a start.

I think I'm going to try and link some information to avoid the question "what is Bitcoin?".

i started tweeting companies now and then on my spear rime asking if they are planning to accept it soon 'like some of their competitors' (white lie). i usually include a link to the coinbase info page or bitpay so they dont need to ask 'what'.

I agree that volume is the most powerful weapon here, if enough people ask they will take notice. so id encourage everyone to email or contact their fav stores to mention it. some very basic coordination here to ensure they get a steady stream of these queries for a few months should be enough to light a fire.

one interesting target is places like gumtree or craigslist where people can sell stuff to other users (p2p selling). All these sites have to do is facilitate an option for users to be able to say they accept btc payment from buyers (mostly the form to fill out for sellers requires a payment option section, well why not have a simple checkbox to say they allow btc option?). it could be good target because the site itself doesnt need to accept btc as payment to them, just allow the users to have the option to say they accept it.

I think this is a very clever idea. This way, many businesses will probably open up their mind about what good benefits bitcoin can do to their business, just like what online casinos are experiencing right now -- good profit, more customers and fast payment transactions.

I thought I managed to get one of the small retailer to accept bitcoin. But I failed.  :'(

If a major company like Amazon accepted Bitcoin. They would completely change the cryptocurrency world.

This is very very great initiative in creating awareness among people about bitcoin . Millions of people who are already investing into bitcoin have already understood the potential of bitcoin but still there are thousands of people who still needs to understand the potential of bitcoin and for this awareness needs to be created among people so that more and more people could be motivated to invest into bitcoin and for this starting should be done from the school and college level only because in the end youth are the only future of the country

I agree with that way, but how to send me a new start bitcoin and I do not understand to go through the sender, and I want to send but I have never, let us all be able to send bitcoin easily.

I think it is a good idea that we make many companies accept bitcoin payment. When many companies accept bitcoin as payment many people will be more easier to buy things in their company. I hope that it will implement soon. I think if that is implemented, the economy of bitcoin will success.

It's actually a good idea but the requests should be thousands to millions so we have a greater chance that they will consider it. But we know that it still boils down on the interests of other influential people so even if the owner wants it, he still needs to follow those powerful people decisions if they say no.

This is not possible, because the bitcoin price fluctuates too large (from few% to several tens%) every day. If the btc payment is $ 6000 then soon the bitcoin falls to $ 5000 then they are huge losses,

We all know that bitcoin is very versatile and sustainable crypto currency and millions of people are investing into bitcoin but still there are people who are completely unaware of bitcoin and there are many remote areas where bitcoin is completely an amen technology and we all have to make an effort so that more and more people can come to know about the bitcoin. Your awareness idea is also very good because companies are the big investors who could invest very huge amount into the bitcoin.

Never thought of that, is it working? I mean, are they replying saying that they will consider it in the future or something like that. I'm sure companies are aware of bitcoin right now, but I guess you are right, if they only see it as an investment option, and think most people also just see it that way, and have no plans on using it as a payment method right now, then I guess they won't bother adding it as an option. If they start getting a lot of feedback from their customers, saying that they would like to use it, maybe they will add it, or at least create their own survey and ask their customers if they want Bitcoin as a payment method or not.

it's a brilliant idea, you do that because the base wants to advance bitcoin. which is rarely found in any country, companies today should have gone to bitpay or other bitcoin payments. but sure the process will answer it, and bitcoin will be an important thing in every company. Hopefully!

This post was created four years ago but still very relevant today, we should and urge companies to accept Bitcoin as one their accepted payment processor, this is why bitcoin created in the first place and if we succeed on urging companies then the whole cryptocurrency company will succeed.

There are a lot of companies accepting bitcoin payment. However many more have to accept and it should be legalized very soon so that there can a more digital era. Coins like PRG, ICX, Lisk are pretty great and it shall be good to invest in them and make them a mode of payment.

It is opportunity for members here to size and help companies which might need bitcoins as payment processor yet don't know how to go about it to guide them and even act as a service consultant to them. I will join this campaign to let company in my locality to understand bitcoin payment.

I think it should be applied to reality. However, it is very difficult to become a reality. Most countries have banned Bitcoin and this is illegal. In addition, the value of Bitcoin is constantly changing, making monthly pay for employees unprofitable and unstable. What employees want to get from their monthly salary is stability

True. Companies should definitely accept bitcoin payment. It should be used everywhere because it is that good. There are coins like TAU, ADA, POWR that are working great and if companies start working with them, they shall see a good change.

Well it would it be nice if most companies would accept bitcoin as a mode of payment but i don't think we can force them we just have to  allow them come to the realization of how advanced technology is going and if they want broaden their wings then they can hook up unto the blockchain technology.

This is a good proactive approach in spreading bitcoin usage and acceptance. I hope many companies will be open to making bitcoin as payment. But making a move such as this involves risk. Before we proactively send out letters we much check the regulation for each country or state if they so welcome bitcoin then we may proceed in doing so.

Companies with intentions to survive the future should start embracing BTC payment as early as they possibly can as its the future of transaction, the earlier the better as it puts them in a pole position to be able to adjust to the future demands. Bitcoin is the Future if te Financial industry and those who embrace it early will beat the rush hours, when every other person realizes that Bitcoin is here to stay, We cannot however impose the authority on the companies to  to accept the payment though, But rather hope that they will at some point

I think that it is difficult at some point, there are some companies that are 100% against cryptocurrencies at the moment

I think your idea deserves to be realized in a country that legalizes crypto, like in venezuela, korea, china, japan, sweden, and others.

As the CRYPTO space evolve, I believe the relevance of BTC  will naturally attract companies to become part of the community, no need to force the acceptance, organizations are already accepting it asa means of transaction, hopefully government globally will accept BTC as a legal digital currency, with that in place lots of companies willaccept it as a means of payment.

Bitcoin has been going through a lot and if exactly saying its is in very tragic condition, everyone is like in against of bitcoin and criticising bitcoin for its illegal use , countries are not in favour of legalising it but still we all know the fate and potential of bitcoin and therefore we have to convince more and more people for bitcoin and I think big companies can help us in doing this because they are the one who could invest a huge amount in bitcoin and could prove whales for us.

This is a good ideal a welcome development awareness should be created to educate them why they need to integrate Accept as payment on their platform, i think educating website ownners on accept bitcoin as payment we go a long way for them to decide.

You cannot talk about making more companies to accept bitcoin as a medium of payment , without first talking about the low transaction confirmation time and high transaction fees.
I think something needs to be done with a view to improving on the aforementioned areas before pushing for widespread adoption of bitcoin.

I'm just for this idea. It is possible not only letters with the request to introduce crypto currency to large companies to send. I think that many here are businessmen who can introduce crypto currency into their business and get additional income.

That's hard, especially because they do not know Crypto Currency. What we are supposed to do now is to inform people who do not know the crypto so they can have an interest in it and the demand goes up. Companies do not accept these, especially if they do not know what it is.

It would be a good idea to make companies accept bitcoin payments as a legal tender. Accepting bitcoin can also be a means of promotion for the companies because once it it included in their opinion for payment their products begin to make waves. The reason why most of these local companies don't succeed is because of the fiat internationals can not patronise their products as there is difficulty in  conversion and transfer so I think embarking on such course would be a plus to the local traders and companies because it would be of huge benefit to them. I suggest the idea of  public relations which would do the task of enlightening the companies to step up their payment terms and to make them see the benefits of taking the decision of accepting bitcoin as a means of payment for their products.

I am glad that you could do it for the community to improve it. But I doubt that Bitcoin may be a good thing to make as a payment because it has no stable price.

There is no step we need to take in this purpose because companies are very much aware about their strategy and they now understand who effective bitcoin would be for their business.

I am sure that if the government has released bitcoin in its country, the population, even the company inside, will and does not want to follow the rule.

Compelling companies to accept bitcoin payment would not be an easy task due to its volatility, as they might not be sure of the current rate.

Many companies already do accept Bitcoins and it's very pleasing. I don't think that sending emails will do a lot as big companies don't really read all the emails they receive, but anyway it's a good idea. I think that in 2019 there will be much more services accepting Bitcoin.

It’s been a decade introducing bitcoin and in this one decade bitcoin has made a tremendous progress and has made millions of followers and has attracted the the attention of all large companies, industrialists and all businessmen and has convinced them all to invest in bitcoin and provided a huge profit and moreover there are few countries who has legalised bitcoin so for the rest of the world, awareness is the biggest influence to convince them to legalise bitcoin and to use it in daily life.

Even though I didn't get anyone to accept bitcoin outright, the mere exposure effect works. The more they hear about bitcoin the more likely it will be they will accept it in the future. So it takes more than one of us. It takes multiple of us per store, perhaps multiple times for each of us.

Cryptocurrencies has been one of the best innovations that we can have in this world. Now so may industries ranging from the health industry into others. When they try pushing BTC forward it will get more roots and people will start to trade and also make  exchange with it.

Even when there's a lot of merchants accepting Bitcoin but majority of Bitcoin users are just holding their coins to earn profits, there will be no use to it. I encourage my friends to use an app based in our country where anyone who download and add funds on their app gets something in return. There has to be an incentive in using it so others will start using it too and not just hodling it.

It's the condition of the market that companies will want to get their companies involved on Bitcoin, if they see Bitcoin is very secured and fast and there are no bad news coming up and it will have a good trend in the market, definitely companies will include it in their payment system.

Well in my country mostly they do not understand what is bitcoin but there are several company,establishment and school are accepting bitcoin as a payment method and it is slowly adopt by the community here.

Maybe let's just not force some companies if they don't want to accept bitcoin as payment, it is their choice if they want to. Maybe better to search some other companies that are accepting bitcoin and buy what you want there.

someone who has a BTC may find it helpful to easily buy items using BTC, but someone who does not have a BTC doesn't even know about BTC, may find it difficult to make complicated transactions. Imagine that person must make a deposit, buy BTC, then withdraw. how long will it take? Whereas transactions with FIAT currencies do not have a large price difference

Thanks that's pretty awesome patronage call, this is a part of a gradual way to massive adoption! we, as community should have initiate any steps to attract merchants and financial institutions to accept crypto as form of payments.

For me, I think that if most people are into bitcoin then the company will finds its way to accept bitcoin as payment option. What we will do is to promote starting to our friends and neighbors and to other people and the rest will follow.

It is a good moves, we should do something to make bitcoin Works as what is the purpose it has been created. When all of people and companies already use bitcoin as a currency, then the prices will be Steady and we don't need banks anymore, we can do transaction around the world without go to the Money changer. So, we don't need Money changer too.

Even i have considered it a long time ago.
Most of the firms are not willing to accept bitcoins as a mean of payment due to the various risk factors.
Several firms and companies have already signed petitions about accepting bitcoins as a mean of payment but they have not yet reacted onto it.
Accepting bitcoins is not that easy by the local community and it will take a lot of efforts to prove them the benefits of bitcoins.
Hope it soon takes place and atleast some major companies should start accepting cryptos.

I think this opinion here is great. Direct to the point and straight conversation with the support may help each side underdtand each other most especially accepting Bitcoin payments to merchants that we eould like to purchase and try to buy or pay for goods and services they offer. I would like to do the same thing in the future with my Bitcoins as for me it is the most convenient way of paying online.

It's not easy from what you think especially when they had their initial encounter with bitcoin and tagged as scam. Even you explain to them that this is a new way of payment and a great asset, they still be looking at you with blank face. And so I'm pass on it.

Well I guess pushing this too much can't help it either, just have a complete awareness then it's all good. Once people knew everything about bitcoin then they'll be surely flocking around here. Their curiosity will lead them here like what happened last year when bitcoin had its ath, so hang on.

That would be great if more and more companies start accepting btc as their payment option.But what i feel is they have to be motivated by the existing governments to initiate this digital move mandatorily for it to be implemented more effectively.So even though the public informs the companies to accept btc it would be more effective when the concerned governments regulate btc and also their usage in various areas.

This is a very good idea. To begin with, you should ask the online stores to enter this payment method. And after that just ask the rest of the companies about it.

I think that a lot of companies are already accept bitcoin as payment. I take examples from my countries and I see everyday new brands accepting cryptos as payment system....world is changing.

Well, I believe that companies will definitely try to entertain the maximum payment methods as it will increase their cash inflow at the end of the day. However, when it comes to the cryptocurrencies, the corporate sector is worried about price volatility aspect. Even the one per cent fall in the price can result in the loss of millions for the companies having a turnover in billions. On the other hand, legal uncertainty is one of the reasons why mass adoption is not getting the expected momentum.

if this is possible, I have an online store suggestion that is etsy. Etsy is almost similar to Amazon. Buying and selling sites that have many enthusiasts. so far, Etsy only accepts payments via paypal and debit cards, if there is bitcoin as a payment, I think it will be better. How to? if anyone can work it out, I hope it will happen soon.

the price instability will last as long as the main countries do not regulate the trade of cryptocurrencies. If this matter is settled, the course will strive for a stable level and then the attention will be paid to corporations.

this is possible depending on which country we live because not all countries have legalized the existence of bitcoin. so in this case, of course, it must include the role of the government to be able to provide a policy for the existence of bitcoin to be a legitimate means of transaction.

Once the cryptos are regulated I am sure AML BitCoin will be accepted everywhere. The value of the AML Bitcoin is not determined by any government. Therefore, if any economic or financial instability occurs, AML Bitcoin users are not affected.

I sent some email to a few companies but no one answered me. I tried to chat with them through Live chat system, everyone says " We will think about it, stay tuned" And at this moment, it is not possible, because they have seen how bitcoin price volatile! When I knocked them, bitcoin price was 13K and now it is 6600 USD! 50% Down! So, I think this is not the right bitcoin mission, we have to find another way.

the public need to be given orientation first before sending emails to the companies. if the companies started accepting bitcoin as a means payment they might not meet up to their sales target which might lead to bankruptcy.in own opinion instead sending emails to companies l rather send emails to customer which is the end user a proper orientation on how bitcoin works

That's a good idea to start and I am really impressed with this your idea. One thing is if we want them to accept BTC, then we have to use it in a unique way that will draw their attention to its usage.

Right.If only our government would be more open to legalized bitcoin in my country then surely i would start using it because that's also my advantage.But hopefully as the growth of bitcoin continues,more people will be expose about it and become curious and definitely buy some bitcoins to be used in the future.

In the next coming years there would be a massive adaption of bitcoin and every companies will have their on asset that support by blockchain technology. I think if we want to happen it we should also think that the government will also should allow it and support it.

Athough you have done good efforts but I don't think that companies start thinking to accept bitcoin on any induvidual's email, we can raise our voice about blockhain technology or crypto on social media groups, youtube channels elaborating its benefits, it may make some cooperates to give thought over it, rest putting it on every online platform will definitely give it a boost.

Since it is the unregulated market, I am not expecting stability from it anytime in near future as we all know that the there is going to be a limited supply of Bitcoin but on the other hand, the the demand is expected to grow day by day and in such case, the law of demand and supply will take place resulting in the increase in the price of Bitcoin. However, legal recolonization would give the boost to this process, in my opinion.

I think that is a good idea, Bitcoin will become more popular if many companies accept bitcoin payments. When many companies accept bitcoin as payment, many people will find it easier to buy items in their company. I hope it will be implemented soon.

Making companies accept bitcoin as a payment is difficult due to the ordinary people cannot do something for the owners of companies. Making companies to accept bitcoin payments as a payment tool is a long term job but there are lots of advantages for them. Since international transfer fees is very expensive, customers from abroad may prefer to pay with BTC because. If so many people ask for, they will consider it seriously. But the first thing we need to see is a smaller price fluctuation.

That won't be possible, at least in Asian countries for now. Here the government is never too keep to make changes and all they want is complete control.
This is already in place in European countries but we cannot expect it to happen in Asia at all.
I hope US accepts it so the others follow it.

Well, you can't MAKE them do anything, and if you do succeed in CONVINCING them that they should accept Bitcoin payments, and they do, you'd better be willing to have everyone who convinced them to make some Bitcoin payments to their stores :) Would love to see more BTC payment options around the world.

I don't think we have to invite big organizations or companies to accept bitcoin. They will come as long as bitcoin becomes valuable. This post is in 2014 and it actually happens today in 2018. Some organizations are accepting bitcoin now as a payment.

yea If we continuously requesting or even placed it as a condition to companies that the only way we would buy things from  them is through bitcoin it will indeed increase acceptance rate of bitcoin.

I don't think sending e-mails to every company you know suggesting to adopt Bitcoin could help in any way unless you have any influence or an investor. That method would work only if you have any function at a company and then you could suggest Bitcoin as a payment method. That's how stuff works, it's either like that or they will adopt it when they see some other made a good profit with Bitcoins.

More and more companies accept bitcoin as a payment tool that shows that bitcoin is accepted as a digital currency, even though the numbers are uneven and more in developed countries. However, it has provided evidence that bitcoin can be used more efficiently and safely. So that in the future more companies are expected to be willing to accept bitcoin.

And what would you expect from companies if one man send them email with the request of accepting bitcoin as a payment tool? I think it won't work. You'd better create your own company with this feature and show the other how great it is. Only in this case they will implement bitcoin payments.

This is indeed difficult if the OP or us don't have any function in one company. I only think that if there are many cryptocurrency users and they ask every merchant to use cryptocurrency as a payment system, we can easily do this. That's really a good idea but how do you think it will be noticed by the companies? How do we even make them read it? It might just go to spam. I think the better idea is to target the smaller businesses first and talk to the owners or managers about accepting bitcoins on a personal manner rather than email. I think there are lots of a company now that use bitcoin as a payment gateway, One I know is on 7 eleven that you can instantly cash-in or just pay bills in electricity, water and also other more using BTC. If other companies recognize BTC as fast and anonymous payment it will easy for use crypto users to be able to handle our daily needs.

There are businesses in asia accept bitcoins as a medium of payment specially in some resort or tourist destination, because it is a very comfortable for their costumers to use  bitcoin than using dollars because  of risk bringing fiat currency. Bitcoin is faster and reliable and no boundaries.

Just for your information: there used to be much more companies actually accepting bitcoin before 2017, and maybe even in 2015, then there are now. It is related to unacceptably high transaction fees in bitcoin in last months of 2017. A lot of companies dropped the support for bitcoin payments then (Steam is the most widely known, but there were many more) and a lot of local merchants dropped the support too, I remember reading the post of some German member who said he can see places accepting bitcoin literally disapearing from Berlin.

So you may write letters all you want. You may even convince them. But the next price move comes, like in last months of 2017, and transaction fees go through the roof again because bitcoin blocks cannot stand the demand of users, and all those new companies you convinced will drop the support for bitcoin again in no time.

What is needed is a fundamental change in bitcoin transaction processing or fee allocation or both. It is not constructive, I know, but I don't have a solution here. But pointing out a problem is the first step, isn't it?

I do not think those companies would even read those emails sent to them in the first place, I think it would take some time before more companies would start to consider accepting bitcoin as a payment option, the most important issue now is to encourage more people to start using bitcoin.

Many companies are glad to enter in cryptocurrency because they know how its advancement can contribute to all system. Aside from that, they may use their fiat into their own coins. Oh wow, you are correct, I didn't look at the timestamp of the OP. If that is the case, I think that the kudos are  totally earned, especially that as I wrote in my post, in years 2015-17 we had more places accepting bitcoins than we do today.

Indeed we can just send emails to many companies to accept payments with bitcoin. But all that must have a clear basis and analysis. Without using a clear analysis, our email will only be underestimated and will only be considered garbage. Before we submit a request to companies to accept payment with bitcoin then we should review and predict the future of this bitcoin if used as a currency. We must include an accurate rationale so that these companies believe in the potential future of bitcoin. Other than that, I suggest that we start trading with bitcoin. We can do a simple way by paying our workers with bitcoin. Besides that, we can develop our business transactions with crypto currencies. We can make business deals with our business partners to do payment transactions using bitcoin. Maybe it's a simple way that we can do. I am sure that if many people do this simple method, they will form a chain where more people will use bitcoin as a payment tool.

I don't think companies can be easily swayed into having bitcoin as a form of payments on their transaction platforms. Probably if most of their topmost customers come together and make this request and with all financial protocols duly observed then the companies can have this considered and adoption of bitcoin payments can come into full play.

As far as I know at the moment many companies and businesses accept bitcoin as payment. Even Elon Musk started protesting Tesla for bitcoins .

Even here in Germany only some companies accept it, you can buy PCs and spare parts, but it's really always closed to IT businesses and one German delivery service accepts bitcoin, I hope more companies will accept it in the future.

why not? I think making more companies accept bitcoin payment is really good . It proves that bitcoin are used widely and it will soon become our official currency.

Its not that many business do not like the technology. in fact it is most cost effective mode of making payment online but the problem is the price flunctuation of the cryptocurrencies. Assuming you own an ecoomerce website and you accept bitcoin as a mode of payment in which you will probably have a wallet where all payment in bitcoin is going. in case of fall in price, you will probably lose so amount of money due to volatility.

Many companies might not ready to accept cryptocurrencies because of its volatility. Bitcoin's rapid price fluctuations may not helpful to their business because anytime its price will change drastically compared to the ordinary currency. Bitcoin adoption on various companies will not take place at a rapid pace but it will take more time before it is fully adopted.

Nice suggestion. I haven't really tried to suggest to companies that they accept bitcoin payment. Because I believe that they will adapt it soon enough. Especially here in the Philippines. A lot of people know bitcoin but not everyone is really interested in getting some bitcoin or altcoins.

I tell every shopkeeper I know to accept bitcoin and some of them have actually started using it but they were complaining about not getting customers who would use bitcoin. Right now i am only introducing bitcoin to my relatives, friends, neighbors for their proper awareness on cryptocurrencies because unless people would understand cryptocurrencies positively and remove from their minds that btc is not a scam, they would always think not only twice but many times to use it as payment. I am thinking of introducing btc to bills payment companies because this business is becoming popular now and if they accept btc as payment it woul be great.

I do agree with you. Some of us are found in areas where you find people staring at you like an alien whenever you mention bitcoin. I also think we need to first bring bitcoin and it’s prospects to the door steps of such people. That's a great movement yet it's still depends on where country you are. In example, Bitcoin is nationally accepted in the Philippines as a company called Coins.ph made its own app to have a virtual and exclusive wallet for the Philippine peso and bitcoin conversion and transactions. What made this company successful is that they made partnerships with local monopoly of different sectors such as electric company and water company, as they made them accept online bills payments and transactions thru their app. Hence with an exclusive wallet for a country, we could easily make companies accept bitcoin.

 it is possible to cooperate through bitcoin payments by companies. First of all, the bitcoiners should say the benefits that for these companies, including the benefit of the two parties if they cooperate ... my opinion.

It is good to start with sending mails to known companies, introducing them to Bitcoin and how it can harness their payment systems. Another way is to intentionally ask for Bitcoin payment after purchasing any item from a shop. If more  than two Bitcoin users ask this from the same shop, it will draw the attention to Bitcoin. Since 2014, the number of companies and merchants has increased, but it is still not enough. I think the problem lies in a lack of knowledge and prejudices. Plus, there are no regulations that keep companies from adopting crypto. All we can do is spread the information.

Companies are really affraid of accepting crypto as a payment because market is full of uncertainties and price can fallen down from high to very low in a single day so that's why companies do not want to take that much risk. It's a challenge, learning from the experience of creating bitcoin ten years ago to this day to be the largest and most expensive digital currency in the world. I think there are many companies which have stared to accept payments in Bitcoin and some of virtual currencies like perfectmoneny and skill as well. Bitcoin is the most popular currency and there are some ATM machines too in UAE and few countries for Bitcoin withdrawal. I don't know in future the companies will consider btc as a payment option because of the huge fluctuation in btc prices.  

A lot of companies wont touch Bitcoin  because of its huge value fluctuations the problems with scams and hacking and also the transaction fees.  If maybe one day it becomes more stable with the ease of use like fiat money then maybe more companies might start using it.

I've also tried at least locally to create bitcoin acceptance, but the concern that many of they tell me is how they're going to get providers to accept bitcoin too? at the end of the day everything has to be a chain of supplies, so we have to start there for everything to work.

Many companies are already aware of the existence of cryptocurrencies especially bitcoin and some online shops are already accepting coins as a payment. Many remittance companies here in my country are also already accepting bitcoins. Many companies won't going to accept bitcoin if it is are not yet legalized by the State and others think that regulations is needed before using it. Companies are also discouraged by bitcoin's high volatility compared to fiat currency.

I know they have their idea in mind, they just need to analize it first if they can apply it to their business for we all know that it takes a lot of risk.
