Could anyone help to analyse what's the impact to crypto market if we meet global crisis again this year or next year? In the situation that the crisis will be even larger than 2008.
As is known in 2008, the global economy meets liquidity problem, hedge funds and banks sold their positions to get money.
So if we meet crisis, shall we assume that these institutions/individuals will get money back from crypto market first?

If there will be global crisis again, automatically everything is affected too even crypto market that has no actual body form. Crisis is everywhere and universal when it strikes. Market will fluctuate together with the world crisis and of course inflation and deflation is expected to happen anytime and affect all our economy. Crypto might possibly collapse as well, hope it won’t.

A global financial crisis now will affect crypto currencies also as people will have less income to invest in cryptos, more importantly it will open a window for regulatory bodies to target cryptos as regulatory bodies worldwide will seek to intervene in the financial market to prevent its collapse hence will target any unregulated financial market or ecosystem.

I think when we meet the global crisis again bitcoin can handle all these problems, and bitcoin can be a solution to it all.

If a global financial crisis occurs again, the only beneficiary is assets with a value as gold and silver.
The cryptocurrency market is still dependent on the financial system. The majority of those who enter the market aim to make a quick profit, meaning that the Bitcoin is not independent in its operations.
So a breakdown or correction will occur for all cryptocurrencies, the result of this collapse is the completion of 98% of all cryptocurrencies.

The only winner if there will be a global crisis is gold and silver because it is the oldest currency ever built. Cryptocurrency and fiat currency will be affected but I think cryptocurrency will survive it.

I think the next global crisis would have a negative impact on the crypto market, as the money deficit in this case will be filled at the expense of the crypto market as well. I hope this doesn't happen.

I dont think so. If we meet crisis then I think it is hard for them to get what they had lost because we are still on a crisis. I think crisis can affect our market especially when it become worse.

Of course the crisis will affect the crypto market, I even suppose prices will fall to points of last year's, when bitcoin costed 200-500$. It is going to be the hard time and I guess the crypto market will need several years to recover itself.

Surely this will be very difficult to rebuild, if we see prices back in the range of 200 or 500 dollars per BTC, but if we get easier to get BTC if it happens then it is a profit for everyone for the future ...

The peculiarity of catastrophic situations is that they can only be explained retroactively, but not predicted. New forecasts appear regularly. Governments announce their intention to create national crypto-currencies, financial institutions are also interested in blocking.

It will be big, just take a look for what happened for the first quarter. Stocks are down, bitcoin fall. This only means that
There's a possibility that they'll get their money back from crypto so there will be a massive sell and the market will be bearish again. But I don't think they'll get their money "first" in crypto, they'll get it first from their shares / stocks.

I think the global economic crisis will not affect the crypto world. even the crypto world is the solution to create economic stability.

only a centralized economic system will be affected by the global economic crisis. and this is what makes decentralized systems attract my attention.

It would be hard to predict what will happen if a global crisis came again there are possibilities that all crypto market will drop a lot that can result of panic selling, but I think some exchange will stop to exchange any cryptocurrency because they are afraid to become exhausted until the global crisis stop.

However, since bitcoin is unpredictable we don't know what would happen in bitcoin if the global crisis came, but I think it's impossible for now to meet the global crisis again these following years.

Definitely it would have a negative impact on crypto market as Its a highly sensitive market fluctuating highly even for a small negative news.And with such a big financial crisis,i think that crypto market would crash.I think that as earlier,once again people would run towards gold if an economic crisis happens.

If global crisis happens it affects not only crypto market but also whole economy also. If this happens then crypto market will fall down and investor may withdraw their investment. But i think it not happens.

If there is crisis in the whole financial market then it will affect crypto currencies too but as fiat survived it then the crypto also will survive it.But the crypto currencies are decentralized so it all depends on the investors who react if there is down fall in the finance system,if they continue to hols then it will have no effect on the crypto field.

any kind of economical crisis usually forces people to start investing their money into things with great potential of growth. for a couple of years now bitcoin is also in the list of things that people invest into to store their money in case of a crisis or just for a long term investment with a lot of potential. with that said a crisis like that would obviously lead to bitcoin price rise, most probably a sharp shoot to the moon.

Guys seriously i don't really understand your judgement on this.
You should realize that with next global crisis, if it takes less than 2-3 years to happen, this market will definitely rise to unseen levels. Bitcoin and most of cryptocurrencies are bulletproof to financial market fluctuations. If economy crashes tomorrow you will see investors panic buying bitcoin and other crypto at any market price for months, up to 50-100k$.
You think gold has any utility and funds can keep up doing their business with it? Or do you think banks that are usually the first target, are secure and will be able to cope? You've already tasted what happens in these situations, back in 2008.
There was no bitcoin then, so funds actually profited by investing in gold, but they couldn't actually produce anything with these funds. In my opinion, tech evolution was stalled for 50 years during this period of 2008-2012. The incredible tech we would have had by today will probably happen in 20-30 years because the funds had no other option. Bitcoin/blockchain/other crypto's can be used as a haven in desperate times and help technology and humanity evolve during any downturn. Funds will be safe and their investment will give a push to growth faster, by being able to utilize and liquidate easily, transferring cash and funding tech around the world, unlike anything that investment in gold does.
In 2015, Greece enforced capital controls on everyone's account, limiting withdrawals to 60euro's per day. Also they blocked every wire transfer outside the country for many months and businesses needed to get special permission from the government to move a small amount of their funds for imports. Do you know where bitcoin was in 2015? At the absolute bottom since 2013. The last bull run started at that point.
A member of the European Union was treated like garbage by the scumbag mafia that runs it, mostly for geopolitical reasons. Most intelligent people understood that EU was a joke and is overtaken by thugs, so bitcoin profited from it. Same happened with Cyprus a few months later and that was the confirmation. Confirmation for 1) people losing faith and trust in European Union/EU laughable monetary system and 2) for bitcoin's bull run beginning. Intelligent funds from Japan/Korea noticed that and bought millions of Bitcoin in April-June 2017, so recent bull run didn't stop at 1500$ but ended at 20k. Japan's economy also has stagnation problems all these years and funds managed to find a way to make real money again.
Venezuela is collapsing mainly due to many years of economic war. What do the people do there? They use bitcoin, which is stable as a straight line compared to their peso. 5k to 20k bitcoin price fluctuations doesn't mean a thing when you live in this situation. Their currency can lose 90% of it's value in a week.
These are a few solid examples and in my opinion, even if there is no global crisis, cryptocurrency market will explode to trillions of dollars by 2021. This is no hype, i don't care if we revisit 1k$/btc, as i will keep buying and saving in Bitcoin mainly and other crypto's that have real utility.

there will definitely be a huge rise in bitcoin price as there will be a huge wave of people coming in to dump their money for the only decentralized currency that nobody can control and is secure enough to store their value.

additionally I think for at least a short while we may see an altcoin pump as some will be fooled into investing in altcoins thanks to the advertisement but I doubt that can last long because all the pumpers will want to go back to bitcoin and store their money there in case of a crisis so we may see a total destruction of altcoins after a couple of months.

          Since people all around the globe started to understand Bitcoin and recognized that Bitcoin is not a bubble it is a financial boom . With the emergence of Bitcoin financial transactions have been decentralized even though cryptocurrency is in its infant stage .  Bitcoin has steadily dominated on the online community for purchasing goods and services from all over the world, this has contributed Bitcoin as  a monetary system . Bitcoin has brought a good amount of political controversies since a single government can control them.

i don't think global crisis wont be able to effect on crypto market that way. 2008 is 10 years before. Cryptocurrency are getting stronger day by day, so i believe that globle crisis wont be able to do any harm to cryptos

I think YES. It will have a great impact if we face global crisis. Think that if people have to struggle to maintain their regular operation, they will have nothing to investment. Even banks will not be able to permit loan on that situation. As a result, crypto market will face a massive fall.

if the crisis more worst than 2008 then probably the effect for crypto market also will have big impact especially if unemployment people increasing then volume support for crypto also will decrease too however i was thinking other scenario that if economy global crisis then some people switch their habit to use crypto then i think possibly crypto users will rise up

Basically crisis is like a curse that so hard to move on and overcome the condition. Once we will face global crisis that means we people are not prepared to experienced crisis. Human will become meaningless in terms of providing its own needs. However I assumed that we are all ready to face this challenge in case it will happen because if we are not prepared our whole life as human will affected like our crypto life, family life, and real actual life.

I think it is hard for them to get back their money in the market because if we suffer crisis for sure it will affect the market.

at the time of crises, cryptocurrency will definitely  help the market to grow we see many opportunities at a time of crises why because the crypto market is decentralized away from a government agency and fiat currency 

From my point of view if we meet global crisis again eventually everything will be affected. But I think the price of bitcoin will not fall down rather it will rise up. As crypto industry has no actual body form.

Any sort of global crisis affect all sectors and crypto is not an exception. Cryto will also be affected in such conditions. The prices may fall and the investment can be lowered significantly.

That would not be a good situation once it happened. It would definitely hit the market in a bad way and all of us will be affected. The impact to all of us will hurt so bad because it's not healthy at all. If crypto currency get affected by global crisis then it won't suffer alone, the whole world will do. If it happens then there will be a very less amount of investors who'll invest in this field.Rather they would struggle to stay good.

If people lose trust and faith in the stock market, they will find a new way to invest. As more people invest in the crypto market, this reflects in the optimism in the future of the market. And this means that it will continue to grow.

I am sure that in the case of global crisis, crypto industry and particularly Bitcoin will either hit all time high level or it will fall like never before and we won't see anything in between. In such scenario, anyone would always seek the stability and liquidity which won't be available in other asset classes but if crypto receives positive momentum then we will see domino effect and literally the buying wave like the last quarter of the last year and since we will have the user base to support the growth, the correction won't take place.

A global crisis affects everyone. So, in case of that, it can totally affect the Crypto market, however, it is upon Bitcoin to handle the situation or ruin the current state. There can be major fluctuations in the market affecting all coins, PRG, ETH, BTC etc.

In case of a global crisis, there is a sharp inflation or deflation. One can never exactly predict what can happen by the end of the year or after a global crisis. It surely affects all the industries, but we are never sure how.

The impact of global crisis will be fallen on all the things. Actually global crisis hampers most of the markets. So we cannot do anything regarding this crisis. So it is expected that global crisis will have negative impact on the crypto market but bitcoin investors need not to worry. It has the capability to face such situation.

I think the economic crisis will have an impact on crypto, because in times of economic crisis, people are more likely to hold their money, and not be used for less important things. In times of economic crisis, bitcoin investors would have been reduced.

surely it could affect the crypto market if the global crisis occurs again, one of which the market price correction will occur for all the crypto currency because basically the value of cryptocurrency is still dependent on the financial system and can cause a sharp price reduction on all existing cryptocurrency

The cool thing about cryptocurrencies is that they don't obey to the physical market. It won't be effected at all, obviously if we don't have anything to invest that's quite useless, the most anticipated idea is to build a backup now, for those dark times that I hope will come really past in the future

Of course there’s an impact whether its negative or positive, we cannot say it unless things happen. If there is a global crisis again I think many investors will come because they think crypto is safe from that crisis or people will convert their cryptos to fiat money so they can secure personally their money. So basically there is effect of global crisis in everywhere and it will depend on how people react on that situation.

There are more investors in that market who invest only in crypto and many of them are in stock exchange and as they also know and the new comers will know that bitcoin and crypto market is decentralized market so they will just withdraw their money from stock market ad they will put that money in bitcoin and other crypto coins so in that condition the crypto market will have a very good impact and that will make more users of bitcoin.

I think any thing bad happen to stock market or any traditional market can cause crytpocurrencies especially bitcoin to rise. If people decide to move their money from stock market, for sure cryotocurrencies are good choices.
If I don't want invest in stock market there are some other options and bitcoin is one the best ones.

It really depends on the scenario. However, since bitcoin is one of the only major currencies that aren't really affiliated with any sort of credit bubble or central bank, I think that there is a high likelihood that bitcoin will outperform a lot of other asset classes.

If we're talking about inflation, as in Argentina and Zimbabwe, then bitcoin obviously would serve a vital role for adopters in countries affected, since it is proven to retain its value even in these circumstances.

What will happen to the rest of the crypto market is unknown. But all in all, I think bitcoin will definitely hold its value steadily in these scenarios, if not making gains of some sort, due to the depreciation that fiat undergoes in certain scenarios.

If this kind of thing happens then it will affect the whole crypto market as well as the users like us too.

In case of global crisis, investors sentiment will get very much affected making them cash out as ppl will look for savings and other options to hold liquid money. This will affect the fiat and crypto market both. And without any regulators it might become difficult for the crypto to hold on a better value after the shock,

I fear that if we have a global crisis again, then cryptocurrency market will have the same fate as the other markets. People will fear for their investment and will try to pull out from the investment. They will sell their crypto which will have a chain reaction.

Global economic crisis is supposed to happen periodically. Although it hasn't happened yet, some experts show several potential signals of the next crisis. If it really happens, not only cryptocurrency but the whole global economy will be hit. I can see a not-very-bright prospect for cryptomarket. Investors will be more vigiliant due to lower income. They may massively sell coins. All these things will come as an awful shock for Bitcoin.

Financial crisis is never good for anything, particularly for cryptocurrencies which haven't been regulated by governments yet. As for regular money, government can raise domestic interest rate or other methods to prevent national currency values from collapsing. But Bitcoin, confronting with the crisis without any regulation, may witness a mass selling and a downfall due to rising fears of risks and income dropping. The cryptomarket will face up to a catastrophe.

If we hit global economy crisis again that's a big impact in the crypto market of course the crypto market will face crisis as well. Many of us will withdraw our money because we think the crypto prices will also down, it's a massive panic sell you know.

What I believe is that if we ever meet any global crisis then crypto will be the only help that would help us not to sink as I believe that bitcoin and all crypto currencies too are very sustainable crypto currencies and they all has proved their existence since the year they were introduced so no doubt crypto will be the only source to overcome the global crisis because it has that potential as it has provided employment to millions of people and even increase the GDP of all those countries in which it is introduced and legalised.
