I Never thought that I Have to see bitcoin is under 7K USD again in This year. Because we already did this about a couple of months ago! And now Repeat Bitcoin is under 7K USD! And the market trend says that Bitcoin can go under 6K USD too. But what is the actual reason behind this vast fall? I haven't seen any robust lousy news or anything like that, Then why bitcoin is continuously decreasing? My friends are laughing at me, who sold their bitcoin when it was 14K USD! That time I told them you guys are doing wrong, Hold your bitcoin, Bitcoin Price will rise again. And now I am regretting really  :'(

To me I think that this fall is just as surprising as every time that bitcoin suffers a fall. But I thibk that one of the reasons is due to news that some countries are barring it and rumors that whales might be about and trying to stir this so that they can buy more bitcoin seems likely. I for one am also watching the price drops and the news surrounding it as this would be the time that would test our conviction to the bitcoin market

The price is resisting above the $ 6700 level, which means that a corrective wave will follow the recent decline.

Let them laugh for now if they have sold at $14,000 and if they are thinking that they are in profit now. Just don't think about them, focus on your holding.

It seems to me that the hacking of the exchanger can not affect the price of bitcoin. The news that somewhere hacked the exchange will not make me sell coins at a low price. It's stupid. I do not see a large increase in trading volume on the exchanges. The demand has nothing to do with the current decline in prices. This is speculation.

The main reason for depreciating of price of bitcoin is the Government is trying to regulate digital currency and also some whales have forecasted the price will reach $40k by end of the year and they are now using their power to bring the price down so that they can accumolate enough before the price will increase.

Everybody knows that there is an Exchange that has been hacked. And it is so normal since Bitcoin's price is so near to the major support line. So, you should try to hold on much longer.

I do think that the biggest factor is the governance by the whales.
They along with bigger companies holding a fair share of Bitcoins , tend to change the market according to their will and that's something that's not good .
The price also usually goes down around this time , but it doesn't drop that much.
I think also the festival season was near thus people encashed the Bitcoins and also the whales , summing up both of it could decrease the price of Bitcoins enormously , it could be the reason ..we cannot be sure of anything completely because it's decentralized.

I think the main reason is spreading FUD.  May be that 95k BTC shifted to exchange but if that is the case market had digested that sell-off because volume last 24 hour is around 100k higher than usual, and as market has digested that 95k btc sell in cost of $600.

Same old story that we have to face. Some people made a FUD. I really doubted that the exchange that was hacked was made off by themselves to scare out of people to sell their holdings.

Try to see the current market conditions, ETH more dominate, now it is more online transactions conducted through ETH than on via BTC.

I think the Coinrail hack and the price manipulation investigations on some exchanges may have affected the price, but we also do not have fuel for new highs, the market was walking sideways for a few days, and with that news had what it needed to fall.

Nobody can say what the exact reason was behind this decline but we can surely predict the possible reasons why this happened.
It might be because of the recent south korean exchange hack . Coinrail is the 99th top most crypto exchange which got hacked recently leading to a losses of about $30 million. Media says that this was the reason behind the Bitcoin price fall whereas there are people saying that it was because of the probe launched by the US regulators to identify the price manipulation, which made Bitcoin fall below $7k . We can't really say what caused the fall.

in any case when things are like this in the market i personally prefer not to speculate any more and also stay away from trading bitcoin. if you have coins you want to sell then do it and stay away and if you have coins you want to hold then hold it and stay away.

It has to be for better future because crypto currency can give us the freedom of using money without any restriction so we have to invest not to have better future.And also for making profits because many people keep doing crypto currency investment for their only source of income because here we can earn lot of money than our daily job,so we have to choose bitcoin for sure but the condition may differ from each person.

For me, I think the one of the biggest reason of bitcoin was very down until now, it is because of some people that trying to manipulating it. A lot of opinions are disseminating over the Internet about the decrease, South Korean Exchanges hacking incident that loses $40M but the volume is pretty low to affect the overall price so I doubt this would be the main reason, other people are saying because of the subpoena of the CFTC issued over the four major exchanges investigation over the price manipulation, whales are getting out of the market due to the investigation, whatever the real impactful reason just HODL.

I also do not think that the regulation from the side of the government brings negative effect on the price, Oppositely it means the development of the global situation around crypto in the world and that is positive side. The truly reason should be hacking of Korean exchanger. Take the case as opportunity to buy some coins, be positive ;)

I read about many concerns about ico and weak protection to investor compare with traditional securities maybe make the value of bitcoin decreased ,  negatif issue have significant influence againts the fluctuation of bitcoin price.

the price is decide for the supply and demand and if there is no one to buy bitcoin then the price will fall and if there is a lot of pressure from the governments pressing people and these people are afraid to buy bitcoin, then the price will fall.

For me there might be some series of events which is eventually taking bitcoin down. Such as the hacking and and the regulations, this is very known to us that scammer is just only waiting for a timing. In this way there are lots of investors got scared and left bitcoin. Another reason also is that some of the people still don't know how to analyze on how to maintain to earn a money,some investor was just put their money to get  higher return faster  So when statements related to Bitcoin Bubble came out and all these events began to happen, people thought that the bubble might be real. This made them pulling out their money from the market. It is called following the trend and is a most important factor that sometimes lead to disastrous falls like this one.

But don’t worry, in the eight year old history, Bitcoin has always bounced back.

There are so many reason why bitcoin price was falling like the investors,they sell their token or they are panicking to sell it because they feel that the price of it will dump,and also the news about it either good or bad it will affect the price of bitcoin.

The fall of Bitcoin is frustrating to me, I made a very big mistake I should have sold mine when btc was around $12000 but was tipped by a friend to hodl that it will soon cross $25000 and here I find myself I don't know what to do again I guess I will continue to hodl until it bounces back.

Don't regret because it's not the end of bitcoin. Maybe can t understand what happen in bitcoin because no news that it may cause of decreasing of bitcoin. Just hold your bitcoin and dont give up, we were just in the middle of the year, there are more things to come on bitcoin. Big decline of Bitcoin nowadays must be because there are parties who manipulate the price, it is not possible the price fell too deep in a short time, if there is no particular party who commits a crime. I hate this, hopefully Price can be recovered as soon as possible.

There is no main reason why the market is falling again but I also believe that whales are part of this correction. They are really taking advantage this current market situation and sadly those newbies are suffering from a big loss. I wish for market to recover easily after this.

Never lose hope my friend,  because It dosen't mean that bitcoin can not recover this situations  the price dropping in a very low value in the market. Just apply your pleasured time bieng patience and calm down. It's better to hold your bitcoin as of now.. and wait. It seems to me that the fall in prices will end when people who bought bitcoins until 2017 will sell their coins. All who bought their coins will keep them expensive and it will push the market to a new round of rising prices. Probably whales are now buying coins and in the future will dictate the conditions in the market.

We should really trust bitcoin that it can recover because this is a kind of technology that we really need in the future. The price movement maybe the same pattern just like in the past year but I really think bitcoin will be much better this year.

According to trading experts bitcoin prices have not reached the portal limit or line sketch increase so if bitcoin has not reached this portal bitcoin will continue to fall up and unstable but when bitcoin has reached the portal then according to bitcoin trading experts will skyrocket up to a value that is not in the know, can course highs this year could exceed the previous year and for predict when bitcoin peak I think as seen from bitcoin history then the end of the year is the peak of bitcoin price. I think the reason behind this bitcoin fall is governments, large financial institutions and mainstream media spreading a lot of negativity. Because of them, bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies price have been dropping constantly over the past few months.

I agree to you mate since bitcoin started to drop down again many people get panic and sell their bitcoin or satoshi which makes the whales happy and taking advantage of the people who are weak hands. Some also believe to the fraud news coming out that bitcoin is a scam.

Timing is everything here! As much as there were no major news, FUDs or speculations as regards the bitcoin dipping to this level again this year, the price can still bounce back. The second half of the year is about starting and we should expect some good news/bullish run if the market.

My opinion is that bitcoin fell due to artificial and very fast price growth. In consequence of which he collapsed and recovered. But I'm sure he'll grow up again soon.

Well actually so many people who actually didn't have any previous experience in any kind of stocks and trading jumped into crypto when btc price was mooning and now they're loosing hope,
but i don't think this is not an end this is just the beginning of a whole new possibilities.

I believe it is because of the previous month's backlashes and negativity towards bitcoin and the cryptocurrency indicated altogether. And it only half taken effect this past few months. The only solution we investors could make to alleviate the damages we could receive while ensuring we would still profit big in the later part is holding our coins. By doing so we are nit contributing to damages to bitcoin's value and we are ensuring profit for ourselves.

I don't know how true but I have read a news that aside from the looming prospect of regulation, a series of high-profile thefts have also had a hand in the sudden rapid dips in value bitcoin and its rivals have experienced - the most recent of which was a failed raid on the Binance cryptocurrency exchange. I understand how you feel right now because not only you experienced that right now, our only way to ease that feeling to trust that bicoin will rise again.

I think the biggest reason for the collapse of bitcoins is because of the whales that keep control of the price. They manipulate the price and make false news to scare small investors and oblige to sell their respective bitcoins. And when the whales' intention is fulfilled then they will buy again to pump the price.

I also think that people control the price of bitcoin and altcoin others are people who have big capital so they can play the market price according to their wishes or with news that can increase or even drop the price of bitcoin and other altcoin market

I believe that the price rally that took place in the last quarter of the last year was artificial rally created by the big whales and institutional investors. When these big whales and institutional investors decided to exit from the market, that decision created a panic selling wave and ultimately resulted in a correction. I don't think that there are any other factors behind the price fall and I am expecting the price to recover in the second half of this year.

 Totally agree with you) It was artificial rise thanks to Tether un-stoppable supply (i think we all Will struggle from it later). Of course world ephoria helped to rise the price but it was not initial. And now we have opposite whale's manipulation to buy Black as cheap as possible and of course they want to shake out as much People as they can to make the rocket Light weight) and they can do it freely because the whole crypto market is very cheap compared to more classical markets..

As there isn't any bad news of late that can be attributed to bitcoins fall, I think most holders are fed up of holding bitcoins and not seeing the desire benefit they aspired to achieve. Hence most traders are dumping bitcoins for other alternative currencies that will yield higher more for them.

I think through the economic relationship and the demands of the public.

You are not only one who loss money in bitcoin, I think the reason behind of this bitcoin fall is the bitcoin holder who can't stand anymore some of them accept their losses who sold their bitcoin and some converting into altcoins maybe that's why bitcoin falling.

yEAH!.it is to gain more members  in BTC. it is just their strategy so that so many  customers will buy BTC, then after they will reach the their goal, then they will just hodl their BTC and wait to increase it again.

definitely that's the reason behind this falls,  but no need to worry about it because on this resistance it will never go down more which is perhaps it will stay above $6300 in my opinion . And for sure soon it will recover again back to $6500 after it gain enough strength  and will continue increase more again.
