Is news about alleged manipulation of the Bitcoin price also manipulation?

Bitcoin has long been manipulated.
Since 2017 and all these news are created specifically.

It most likely is. Why would the manipulators say they've been manipulating? More manipulation and of course when the price of BTC is low this kind of news is being spread.

My theory: We will have some MASSIVE fud for BTC before the next bull run. Be prepared! Eventually, the manipulators will run out of news for manipulation.

Since it's decentralized it cannot be specifically taken into account and documented .. therefore I don't think that we will for sure know about a news in the market truthfully nuntil and unless the body behind that makes the statement.
I don't think that this news is a manipulation because we still have plenty of evidences to support that the Bitcoins has been manipulated since the day it was in the market.
But we cannot deny the fact that the Bitcoins do have a lots of FUD's and false news in the market .

No one can know for sure it's about what you believe in.

Indeed these news are the basis of FUD creation and thus they create more panic sell rather than getting positive news about it. They will never be present there when it comes to great developments of the blockchain or the altcoin/bitcoin developments itself. I wish there would have been at least few of the channels who made it look like completely the way it is. Then we would have seen the power of crypto's in the first place.  ;)
Yes whatever we see today is all about the manipulation and I have started to believe it these days a lot.

You can see that the market is falling in recent days, bitcoin prices are constantly falling and according to my analysis, at this time bitcoin prices will be able to continue falling sharply and will be able to touch milestone $ 6000. There is some theory says that BTC need to retrace to $4900 before moon past $20,000, I have been always against that and I am still is, but I really do not know anymore .
About manipulating, I really do not think so and I think the price of BTC is just reflecting the market status the market need new money to move forward since altcoins took a large portion from the whole Marketcap of cryptos .

Yes the whales are also involved in manipulating the price as they will want to increase their bitcoin which is their continuous efforts and for that they will manipulate the price many time to buy from the weak hands.

Yoow! Its holding up greatly and this is nothing but recovery period of the bitcoin and almost all the 100 currencies that follows it meanwhile. I guess bitcoin is now supporting itself from dumping below 6K USD and this is what now will become the support for next hikes as well. We always need the support line and if we see something like bearish coming since very long then we sure shot need such support which we are getting here. Yes the value of Bitcoin fell below the $6000 in June but got recovered shortly. There was another fall in the prices after that but the advent of July has been good so far. We have not seen loss in July so far and the value has been static but we have actually embarked upon the journey to market perfection and there are chances the monetary value of Bitcoin will rise and cross $10000 till September.

We recently saw 17th China Internet Conference (https://www.asiacryptotoday.com/the-future-of-blockchain-in-china-discussed-at-the-17th-china-internet-conference/), where the focus was the Innovative use of the Blockchain technology and how to use it for further development of the industry. So, with the focus on these things, it is obvious that the whole industry will benefit and more so the Bitcoin. I personally see it growing further ahead.

At the moment the true value of bitcoin is at $6000 range but it is not going to be the permanent price of the bitcoin,it just depends on the demand and supply.In 2017 the supply is less and demand is high so the price is very high at the time so if more people coming to invest means the value will increase in the coming days.

So many great stuffs are happening which is quite beneficial for the crypto space but it just hasn't taken effect. If I remember correctly, Coinbase open its doors to institutional investors and money bags in late June this year. But the price hasn't move that up yet. I think its mainly due to those shorting Bitcoin for the small 5% - 6% increase. Shorting it back abd forth. It's insane. However, I know it'll take a positive turn soon. Not forgetting that SEC might be approving Bitcoin ETFs next month.

I actually, think 6,500-8000$ is the true value for Bitcoin, and while the market correction is occurring is important to remember to keep calm and HODL. After all, there is no point in investing more than you can afford to lose.

The price of bitcoin was down to $5500k lately there was no manipulation that has happen as much as I know the normal price of BTC is $5000 just for now and will be bigger after some time. Damn. I have a good chuckle reading about the recovery path of bitcoin. Seriously it would take 2 years? I really don't know if this whole crypto addiction has made someone suddenly became an experts and prediction that it will take significant amount of time for bitcoin to bounce back. There has not manipulation of Bitcoin prices as the media reports, why these bad news affect Bitcoin. Bitcoin has received many good news as "CEO of Crypto Investment Firm Believes Bitcoin Rally will Lead Higher Prices" . So its price went up to 8k now .

Bitcoin hold 6k dollars for months and that's a great thing by the way. People don't see a bigger picture, in past years we had a bottom under 1000 dollars, from this year bottom is 6k, and you know what? We do have any idea if there is a manipulation from behind because on the first place, we haven't identify any single one of this so called whales that can manipulated the price in their favor. But regarding the price, if it falls at $6K or even $5K then its the perfect opportunity to accumulate more bitcoins. Yes, we need to really look at bitcoin long term. It has broken that support @6700 and now the price continue to goes down to $6500. The news of the postponement was the main catalyst for this down trend. Everyone was really expecting something big to happen in case of a approval that's why money suddenly poured in, however, it looks like we won't hear any from them because they decided to delay their decision. I do hope that the $6500 support is strong otherwise it might go down as low as $5500 this time and test another bottom.

Expect the price to slide further as we approach the Chinese Ghost Month which starts from August 11 until September 9. Chinese traders will stop making business decisions during those period. Last year when Chinese Ghost Month started, its a blood bath all over but price slowly recovers after that festival. Its good if you have extra funds, because you can buy cheap coins then sell few weeks after the festival.

Actually it's been a long time discussing about bitcoin manipulated by few people holding

I just want to share that the word/trend "manupulation" of the cryptocurrency market was started way before the bitcoin was invented and way before the Internet and even the Internets best updates come in reality to be spread on whole world.

In short it started since trading and the time we were colonized. Since people started working when a paper of money on each country was invented. So "again" in short and a big fact that the process of the market of cryptocurrency was originalize by the modern world(refering to the ways of investing to a company that can help your local/foriegn money grow).

We can assumed that same class of people who can manage to dominate the market are manipulating the movements of this chain, we can't control them as they can have numbers of coins that they want in order to make the market moves, when they start to dumped silly and panic sellers dive with them and when they started to pumped fomos and blind investors are riding so manipulation really been done by expert people who knows how to read the type of people inside the market that they are targeting.

We are in the same situation right now. Bitcoin's price hovering just above $6K and the big questions is how long can we hold. This is the second time this week that we are in the same predicament but we able to hold on it went to $6300-$6400 and now back again to $6K. You Can check the previous market condition of Bitcoin so you can understand what's going on Bitcoin price. In a couple of days ago I follow technical analysis and at the moment I understand technical analysis does not work right now.

because I know theres a big possibility or chance that you will more earn a huge amount of income or profit in this business.

You mean ETF? Yeah, possible that it can have a drastic effect, but we still don't know that for sure. That's why I don't like to think that way, we have put to much emphasis on that Bitcoin ETF approval that the moment we hear SEC saying they need more time, and will postponed their decision, the price goes to $6K.

But its good to see it holding and bouncing from $6K-$630++, it looks like this will be the case, until there's a news that will push the price even further. For me investors are slowly maturing and maybe they think that $6K is the right price to really invest and don't want to wait till the price goes down further.

You can see that today's rise (which really started yesterday) originated from a price close to where the whale traders bought back in July (blue arrow). It could be that this rise is them buying again, possibly accumulating more positions read for another big rise later on this years. We'll have to wait and see.

You don't need to frightened my friend, you may give your trust into it and keep holding  your coins while market isn't good.  But if you couldn't stand it,  it is pretty sure you won't go far in here and ended with losing.

I do not think you should hold on to this point, you can see that hold is only profitable for you when the market is rising while the current market is in a bear market in the long term. Bitcoin is constantly being manipulated on the Crypto market but its value is increasing. Its daily volume is very high compared to the current economic situation. I guess that after 2019, the price of BTC will increase to $ 13k.
So now is the opportunity for us to buy and hold in the long run.

Manipulation do  exists in bitcoin market but these whales are intelligent enough. They are not letting bitcoin fall under $6,000 and thus keeping the interest of miners and people alive. Although they tend to increase decrease the price and people are caught in bull trap, but overall the currency is staying above 6000$ which a sign that it can boost and pump any time to 10K or more. Also few good events like ETF still to come this year than will give a boost to this digital currency.

I think $6000 is a solid support line for now and we hope it will not be broken because it will dump further below $5000 if support is gone. Less than $6000 range is a good buy in my opinion, and you can get profit once it recovers several weeks from now.

Well we've broken that support line probably twice or thrice this year but the price is always quick to recover so yeah i think it will stay there or if it goes below 6k, there will again be a quick recovery.

Last couple of weeks yeah, I think we did twice sink below $6K but bitcoin quickly recovered and push the price around the $6300-$6400 range. Which means their is really support along that line. Maybe we are down like 1-2% but nothing significant to worry about. We are in sideways, indicating that neither the bears or the bulls still has control as of the time. If we can break the resistance along the $6400-$6500 then we will the price see getting close to $7K at the end of this week.
