One thing that really surprises me is how some new projects come into blockchain and start spreading false news and making baseless analysis that bitcoin will fail all in the name of making their own project a success. In crypto, we should accept that bitcoin is the KING and anytime bitcoin falls, all other altcoins also fall. I have read news where people were predicting that bitcoin will go back to 1k and now that bitcoin and other cryptos are down, they are changing their predictions to favour bitcoin. This all proves that their plans backfired and they are beginning to realize that when bitcoin is down, most other alts will be down. All these news we spread rather drive away investors and at the end of the day, we all lose. Why can't we unite and spread good news rather than hate one of our own?

It's merely a marketing and that's how they can get more investors by telling something false about bitcoin. I'll guess that you have read they've said "the next bitcoin"?

That is given, bitcoin is the king but some people doesn't really like bitcoin. It's like they don't have bitcoin and sold at a very low price so they are putting their hope to a cheap coin.

It's a FUD and if ever it goes back to that price, they'll start buying that's too much to ask with a high market cap now.

You can't please everyone, simple as that.  :-\

Because there's a lot of people who are afraid to invest in Bitcoin, because they think that they've missed the train, and altcoin/ICO marketers are playing on this feeling by telling them that their coin is going to distupt Bitcoin or Ethereum. They also use the fact that Bitcoin and other networks had problems with transaction capacity to tell newbies that their coin will be better. So, there's nothing personal here, they might not actually want Bitcoin to fail (it would sink the whole market), and they might be actually hodling it themselves, their FUD is just a part of their selling strategy. Keep in mind that almost any coin other than Bitcoin has huge teams of marketers, and they spend more resources on promoting than on development, because most likely they are never going to release and support the full product.

I will give my opinion as a user who has felt this moment. there are so many reasons about it . the thing that i believe it was.
1. they may be part of getting big losses when bitcoin keeps going down. And its desire to buyback at lower prices and make it provide invalid information to make the community afraid of news.
2. they have their own view of their assumption.
Do not just believe the information of others because they give their own assumptions. it's better to do your own speculation or follow the current market trend. others may lie to their advantage. but the market trend is always honest.


Without a doubt it is true. because almost all crypto pair with BTC.
so when the btc price goes down it will definitely have an impact on other coin prices as well.

Even a lot of  these true crypto believers are trying to spread mass panic.  They are doing this to obtain more bitcoin or to make profit on short contracts.  They know the true  future potential of crypto so its likely they are just stockpiling for the next bullrun which should be starting pretty soon.

It is not as simple as that. We cannot unite and spread good news because we all have different opinions(self-interest included) about bitcoin. IMO, people who are spreading FUD sometimes are also pleased with btc but they continue to do so because they want the price to go lower for the sake of price manipulation and some others do it because they genuinely hate bitcoin.

Yeah some people believe on how Bitcoin value could grow more than what the current value had. That's why they hoping for lower price to set some buy order at the bottom, those people are confident enough heading Bitcoin future .. A little more drop , buy & keep it to get rise later would be the goal for for everyone, spreading false news aren't necessary to make price dropped , that's the nature when market have to go down continuously... The market affected by global issue , not a small issue like that.

Bitcoin since it operation has proven beyond all doubt and i personally know it the mother of all coins and those who wish its downfall in the name of their project have never realized how their so called project is dependent on the bitcoin. In fact bitcoin as  the king of crypto i personally hope it will soon increase. There are always people who will never support you in live that does not mean life ends indeed bitcoin is about soaring higher.   

I think a lot of people feel like they missed out on getting rich with bitcoin and yearn for a redo. A new coin that they can get in on the bottom floor of. It has worked to some extent with other alts. But the important part for survivability in a cryptocoin ecosystem is utility. A coin like ETH can do smart contracts, and so has Superior utility in that regard. But most alts are not useful and very often exist for no other reason than exploiting people. Others are basically script-kitty clones of bitcoin that work okay, but are not really needed.

It could be that new code brings blockchain currency to the next level, or even that a completely different idea about how to do a trustless cash system dominates. Whatever happens I think will not really be changed by peoples likes and dislikes.  The winning money has to win people over and work best.

People just want their coins to overtake bitcoin meanwhile they don't have any project that will improve the lives of people. Bitcoin came and solved the basic problems people were facing regarding slow transactions, the possibility of double spending, the outrageous charges by the middlemen and so on. Projects whos wish to overtake bitcoin should rather work hard towards the development of their own product. As of now the price of bitcoin affects almost every other crypto.

I think they want bitcoin to fall down for them to be able to buy it at a very low price. They are spreading FUD in order for bitcoin to drop it's price to the lowest price it can ever have. People think they will not be able join the roller coaster ride to top without investing in bitcoin at a very low price. And claiming that their ICO/project will overtake bitcoin is the only way they think that will give them high hopes to be close to bitcoin experience that  skyrocketed from a very cheap price. They also want to experience this that's why they are claiming to overtake bitcoin.

It is either because they are bitter to bitcoin or they are doing it for strategy that if other people take the bait and the price goes down, they will buy large sums of bitcoin.

most of alt coins trade with btc pair,so that they can not stand itself.they want to get publicity on them project.if we talk about that, they already get that publicity.be faith in btc cheers!

To be honest, no one is sure what is going to happen down the road so everyone has the right to predict their opinion about the market however in some cases, they predict the negative opinion just because to drive attention towards their project. On the other hand, there were some people like me willing for the market correction when Bitcoin was being artificially pumped. However, I believe that Bitcoin is still undervalued and it will grow at an exponential rate in the coming decade irrespective of the opinions of attention seekers. I am not commenting against constructive criticizers but my opinion is against attention seekers.

I would still disagree to people making bad assumpions and posting negative news about btc as a result,some of the new and old investors mght no longer be interested to invest because of fear and uncertainty that bitcoin will go through something bad on the market. Just for personal interest, they will make sure that they will be successful since their aim is to ake btc down and buy at low price. This for me attributes to a sort of manipulation of price through FUD and negativity.

Do they really? I don't encounter a lot of these. Most just say that Bitcoin has had its time in the spotlight (stagnating, not much room for growth, etc., but not dead) and that their project is the next one up or something like that. The only people who really actively wish for Bitcoin's literal downfall are rabid BCH supporters who swear that BCH is the true Bitcoin.

Either way, that's just competition. It brings about good results most of the time, but it can also bring the worst out of people. History is full of figures who use others as a stepping stone to their goal. Crypto isn't any different.

the thing is many people know the fact that bitcoin market is still small and can be influenced a lot by the decisions that people make. and sometimes these decisions are based mostly on drama and what they read online. but generally it is from the news they read like the hack news, or some adoption news (as an opposite way which leads to rise) not some random idiot's comment on a forum.
with that mistake they start spreading bullshit about how price is falling so that they can buy more of it.

Yes I agree. They are doing this strategy to lessen the interest of the new investors and to panic sell their coins at cheaper price. These are part of the game in crypto business industry initiated by the big whales so that they can buy more coins at cheaper price to gain huge profits when prices in the market will reach at its peak. For me, in times like this, we should think of the positive side and to take advantage to buy bitcoin and HODL.

Well, it's just because people wishes to buy more out of bitcoin. Bitcoin is great as an investment to all. And it serves as the best investment. If bitcoin will fall let's say at 1000 usd, many people will buy it.

It is just a marketing strategy so that they can attract more investors to invest in their coin. I have seen countless times about people saying that they wish they have invested in bitcoin years ago but they didn't believe in it then that's why they were able to buy at a higher level. If they have been able to buy at a lower price then they would have more profits. Marketers are pointing out the weakness of bitcoin in terms of scalability so that investors would think that their coin would be much valuable than bitcoin.

Instead of wishing bitcoin to fall, we just wish that those cryptocurrencies would be recognized and use by people for its actual use and not just speculation purposes so that mass adoption would happen. If those marketers would receive tokens then they might as well use the crypto for its actual use case because I am sure that they are holding a pretty huge amount of it so it would be to their advantage if it would be much valuable in the future.

Most people today are hoping for bitcoin to rise to make profitable again but there are also people continue to hope that bitcoin will crash so they can buy more amount of bitcoin in a very cheap price  enough to gain more profit once it rise up again.

Yes it's true, by spreading the good news of bitcoin we can help each other to uplift all coins and not only bitcoin, and when all coins now have lower value then let us try to buy more coins and just hold it because I believe in the latter part of the year there would be something good for all of us.

It's not about good news or bad news, you can see cryptocurrency media already a lot, they will make an information based on facts. All media can not hide the negative things that happen to cryptocurrency, they are neutral if there is good news they will convey as well as bad news they will deliver as well. Cryptocurrency must evolve according to the system, without any artificial engineering that will pump the market temporarily, as I'm sure there is still a lot of potential that everyone has not known about cryptocurrency.

For me just because they don't know what is bitcoin and also they don't know how to make profit from it since the beginning, that's why how they wish that bitcoin will go down even lost forever. Just don't mind them, let them wish as long as they want. And for us who love bitcoin very much we will just continue our bitcoin earnings  ;D.

And don't forget shorting, you can profit from the market downfall if you are shorting. ''it is called FUD and the purpose of it is to try and bring the price down and the reason for it is because they want to buy bitcoin.'' However if that's really the case then you don't have anything to worry about, they would only want to buy bitcoin if the know it's going up again.

Splendid observation! I noticed that too. Lots of threads on the demise of bitcoin. They probably think of it as a strategy to delay the next bull run. Buying time to raise more funds. ;D

They have no BTC in their hands. When the BTC price collapses, they buy BTC at a low price, and when BTC rises, they sell it!

Maybe they are investing into other cryptocurrency
and they are experiencing a very low market value.Thats why they wish the downful of bitcoin so that they will get the highest price.

because they want more beinvestment dibitcoin with a fairly cheap price. that we know, bitcoin prices are now still quite expensive, and this will continue towards a low. if we invest in a small amount of capital, at the current price, it may be more profitable to invest by waiting for cheaper bitcoin prices.

They are wishing of downfall because they can buy in a lowest price as they  can stock on it as many years they wanted to hold  start in a small amount and sell in a higher price this could be a wildest strategy to become wealthy  if many will buy then the supply is shortened many users will seek on it so goes on higher price no choice.

I think many people are still wishing for a bitcoin to be downfall because may be they want to buy more bitcoin in a very cheap price that they can invest long term just to gain more profit once bitcoin market value will increase.

I think.. If bitcoin going down.. That's the time to invest.. Because bitcoin is run up to 19k dollars last december so it has a potential to grow up. Now bitcoin is so expensive even it's going down because the convertion of dollar to our different country.. That's why i dont think bitcoin is going to be dead.. some people probably still want to fill their bags with cheap coins before the price is in hundreds of thousand dollars instead of thousands as it's these day. I'm pretty sure that will happen soon.

It’s crab mentality. No matter how hard you try to succeed, there is always someone who wishes you to fall. Not everyone is happy with your success. There really are people will love to pull you down.

Probably, the haters of bitcoin are investing more in altcoin and for some, they want btc to still go down further such that they can buy more for a lesser price. Most likely, whales are making the FUD issue to make an impact on bitcoin thus affecting it's price and later once btc goes up, they're making good profit in the end.

Other people do not like bitcoin investments thats why they wish the fownfall of bitcoin amd other crypto currencies. Every downfall of bitcoin other crypto currencies follows. Those people who does’nt like bitcoin thinks that bitcoin is just a scam.

It's because they wanted people to invest more in bitcoin in which it can make the price go high. For those hodler who hodl much bitcoin, they'll get a lot of profit out of them.

In a brief explanation those people who wished that crypto will still remain in a downfall situation are those who didn't know what could be the real goodness bitcoin in their life that it could bring. And those people also are lacked of knowledge to new upcoming trending investment that was supposedly a very good investment.

Yeah there is some people who are wishing that bitcoin value will dump. I talked a couple of people with the same mindset and they have the same answer. They are wishing to dump the bitcoin so that they can buy it and make their ROI more bigger.

bitcoin downfall will bring two sides in us. the positve side and the negative side. if the bitcoin price will fall, others may come happy because the price is low. and when the price is low i think it is good to buy bitcoin. it is good to invest in this. the negative side is, if the bitcoin is still continue until the year end. i dont think that many investor would stay in this industry. they might come quit in this kind of industry. this is the two side of the downfall of the bitcoin. this is very expensive and it is good to invest now because the price is low but for others is not good because  they can't sell their coins in high price.

They are probably on a big loss today, or they just don't understand the bitcoin .People who tend to know less are the ones to talk much, they like to FUD and talk nonsense. Others are probably just see it as a bad idea to invest on bitcoin,they think its too risky.

When BTC price falls, people who knows BTC raising again in future will buy to to store until that day coming. But they do not buy it at this time. They will wait until it goes low enough and boom!!! However, I do not think that many people have balls to do that. Right!

I think those people are still one group, maybe they can make irresponsible issues to drop bitcoin, or they are also part of another digital currency that does not like the existence of bitcoin. but I will still stand with bitcoin, I can be up to now thanks to bitcoin.

Simply, they want to invest in bitcoin. I am sure that you know already how do we earn in cryptocurrency. Well, we need to buy during dumps because we want to have a huge amount of profits. Each of us always pray for dump whenever we want to invest but usually, if we have some coins in our wallet, we always hope for a bull run market.

if these true crypto followers are really trying to spread a massall panic that aims to get more bitcoin from a cheap price I think this is a very high risk idea. try you think, bitcoin price that was once IDR 297 million to date down until it touches the value of IDR 86 million. is not this a remarkable price reduction?
I think people who just know the world of crypto would be surprised to see the price movement so fast and very deep.

It's mainly because they want the coin that they supported to be number one. They just don't understand that every altcoin's value is dependent to bitcoin's value. If the value of bitcoin will fall, altcoin's value will fall as well. It's purely marketing act. They spread FUD so that the price would tank and they can get as many as they want at the cheapest rate ever. Such act affect noobs easily anyways. Looking forward to a bull run soon enough.

some people purely hate something new. They would always want to think what they know is the best and you can't teach them something new. Also, it seems many people were once scammed out of Bitcoin and other related activities and so it's created a long term effect of hate for BTC.

Hmm i share your frustration mate and it hurts really much when i hear people making so many bad statements about the mother coin. If there are some flaws in the mother coins blockchain why don't we as a community plan of how we are going to solve such an issue rather wishing for the downfall of bitcoin all in the name of some altcoins.

Start ups can't claim bitcoin will fall because this is where all started. So if bitcoin falls, everything will follow and no one can deny that. It's not bitcoin's downfall these people are wishing for. It's only the price so they could buy in and hodl.

Well negative campaign is also one of the way to make the project more famous, but only a newbie marketing team is going to used that technique to elevate their project, people used this negative method to gain attraction, but if the team do it in a wrong way then it make the project become failure,and when you said bad things about Bitcoin you will get more negative result than the positive, so spreading a false news about Bitcoin to elevate the project is going to damage the project

Market need drivers, up or downs. Any stock market is usually an equal instrument, in which somebody gains and person doesnt gain, same for loss, those spreading fud has a very clear indication in their wallet, they doesnt have bitcoin and those opposing does have or was goijg to invest, not to mention increasing trader that shorts as these are essential news for them

Bitcoin prices have rebounded, although it has not recovered strongly. The wrong information just to worsen the current situation. They want to push Bitcoin prices low and buy them to redeem themselves

If btc drop that's a chance to do invest again because if btc is really high the chance of go low is high too

Some people wish that in crypto the bitcoin will fall because they want to buy it in low price. For me if bitcoin is totally fall the other crypto will fall because bitcoin is the father of all currency.

There are many people at the early stage who have a large amount of bitcoin. At that time they purchase bitcoin at a very low rate. They could not predict how long the bitcoin go. because everyone still believes that bitcoin will rise to the moon again at the end of the year. hence they still expect the price to continue falling again at this time so they can take a lot of investment assets and profits.

There are many people still hoping for the fall o Bitcoin because they are only preparing to the upcoming rising up of the price of the Bitcoin again. Those people that still wish to the downfall of the Bitcoin only wants to buy Bitcoin as long as it is in a low price for investments. They wish Bitcoin to fall maybe because they feel threatened that their business might be affected or worst, it might collapse. Alternatively, perhaps people spread wrong rumors because they want to make the price go low and want to take the ride. There are many factors, and we cannot avoid that. We cannot expect that all people will be kind and giving. Some will take the advantage for themselves.

Other people wanted for more fall because they are wise to make decision of taking risks for buying more amount and gain good profit in the future because they have good source of income which can buy more bitcoin and can support until the price become more expensive. They see the huge potential of bitcoin to rise up again.

Any crypto-entrepreneur that criticizes bitcoin in order to push some points about their own project is doing something that is counter-productive.If bitcoin fails,all other crypto projects will be affected.It is really a negative way to do marketing.

These people know that Bitcoin still has more to offer. And so they have this wish or dream of Bitcoin going down. Why? So that they can get some more BTC for themselves at a lower price. Simple as that...

Whales could be part of this black propaganda to make some bad news and FUD about bitcoin targeting to lower it's price since their agenda is to buy more btc right after those investors who made some panic selling. This will be the time for the whales buying huge amount of btc's at a lower price. Due to volatility, btc could easily be affected by these FUD's and negativity for the social media.

some people who spread negative news about bitcoin I think it is done because it does not like the existence of bitcoin which continues to have such a strong existence. but personally I think that how much they spread the negative news about bitcoin will not affect the existence of bitcoin.

Until now there is no indication that Cryptocurrency will go back up. But according to predictions, most likely in late February there will be a new trend in which the Cryptocurrency exchange rate will rise again.

But the exchange rate at that time may have returned to the exchange rate before they start to skyrocket.

So if you have a coin, it would not hurt to trade it if the exchange rate is above the price when you buy it.

Easy. So they  can buy more in cheaper price. Those who got rich already wanted to have dumps to they can buy more and dump when prices are high or they have already in their profiting phase.

But not all are getting rich actually, some fake news spreader are just paranoid. Maybe it is because they check the market too much and that only lead them panicking or just spreading FUD because they are mad that they can not see the benefits in a short period of time.

Most of those who spread bad news about bitcoin are those who do not hold some. They just want move people's attention from bitcoin and push theirs forward in order to win more investors

Not all project promoters follow the same strategy,but some do that mistake.Every one should realise that their project should be promoted by spreading the positive aspects of their coins and not by degrading the other.Success come through unity and not by blaming one other.

All they are doing id creating a FUD in the crypto space and misleading the newbies who are not equipped with the proper knowledge of the market.
That is a dirty tactic used by some of them, but ultimately what happens is extreme opposite of what these people have expected already!

They are just riding the bitcoins name and this popularity because good or bad publicity is still a publicity so if they use this great coins many will give attention to them

But the truth is theres nothing to be doubtful since this increases the bitcoins popularity too the more they throw bad things towards bitcoin the more people got interested

They are not hoping for bitcoin prices to drop to the lowest prices anymore, but they predict using technical analysts. I doubt if anyone has money and they expect the bitcoin price to drop to the lowest price. That way there is a meaning contained therein, ie whatever bitcoin prices will decrease they will still believe bitcoin will have a high value in the future, and suggestion is good for someone who is new to cryptocurrency.

To buy more. I don't have a lot of money in alts or Bitcoin. But if it dropped to 1000$ I would buy more. But I guess it's pretty impossible. I curse when I remember time, when BTC was 500$ and I didn't bought any :(

Bitcoin fails? This is very unfounded. I love Bitcoin and local currency. But I do not like the predictions and the news is too exaggerated and unfounded. For example "Local currency will be removed by bitcoin", "Bitcoin will replace the currencies of all countries in the world", "Bitcoin will fall in one second"

People spreading fake news and also spreading a goodnews because of a certain reasons, first, people spreading fake news wishing that the price fall because of the inner needs that they can bought a bitcoin with a least price, and people spreading good news so that people can bought a bitcoin and the price raise up again.

That is marketing, they spread a fake news to talk about it, that is the way to promote. In that way the people panic they sell their coins, and that is what they want so that they can buy in low price. At the they win.

Maybe because they lost a lot in the fall earlier this year and want others to suffer the same fate. Misery loves company. Too bad for them. They should’ve invested only what they can afford to lose.

Because they can buy cheap cost. We know that the more bitcoins we have the chance to have a lot of profits, especially if the price is higher. So many investors are waiting for this opportunity because it will be their chance to earn more profit.

I think this will not happen as quickly as we would like. First, we need to legalize and make the government work with them, and banks are ready to invest a good amount in order to work with cryptocurrencies. This is a very voluminous and expensive process.

I guess its more on the competition. They want to create their own coin and beat Bitcoin. Just like in real life business. I agree.Since bitcoin is very much popular nowadays and may become a mainstream in the near future,so there are really those haters of bitcoin who wants to compete with it and even wish to make bitcoin die.But i think they will find it hard to make bitcoin vanish in the crypto market.

These are gimmicks used by the latecomers in cryptos to send fear to newbies so as dump bitcoin which will result into the crash in the price of BTC invariably capitalized on the low price and buy as many coins as they can, I observed that people no longer panick these days whenever such a false news is being spread as people are becoming more wiser to these tricksters.

Whales lower it, then let it fly. And if before the drop of bitcoin was accompanied by comments "bitcoin burst", then the last few months already almost no one believes in it and everyone perceives the fall of the rate as a way to buy up cheap bitcoin

A lot of Bitcoin enthusiasts explain this year's huge downfall with this trend of cryptocurrencies. Everybody believes that the current fall is the preparation for a new huge growth. Well I don't know... It all depends on what you mean by fail. I think it has indeed completely failed to be a currency due to its lack of stable value and inability to scale. It also has slow confirmation times which don't lend well to real world commerce. But maybe it hasn't completely failed as a storage of value. At any rate, Bitcoin is only king because it was the first and not because it is the best.

I think they are very late in the Crypto market. They have overlooked many opportunities to get rich and they feel unjust. So they want all the rich people from the Crypto market to go bankrupt so they feel more comfortable.

It can not be denied if we drop each other the crypto currency then the bad impact will we feel. All crypto currencies will feel the impact, especially when we spread negative news about bitcoin, so not only is the belief in bitcoin reduced but the belief in other crypto currencies is also reduced. The people do come from the background of FOMO where they miss or at least fear that they will miss the opportunity to buy more at less prices and mostly they miss it becaus they don’t courage things at the right time and later on same sort of people go and ask for downfall of bitcoin prices so that they can buy more.

There are rarely genuine cases where people do want to invest heavily but at the terms of prices being very much at the bottom.

They really want to dump the market so they can enter and have more cryptos. Too bad for us because they are effective on spreading FUD news because weak people easily react on it. Let's just wait for the right time because they cannot stop this market from growing even they wish for so many times.

I think they're insecurities are killing them so they just tend to wish bitcoin's fall. Haters will always be there and it's just their way of expressing what they feel. Most of the time those people who hates bitcoin and wishing it to fall are the ones who doesn't got involved there yet. In our part we just have to wish the opposite let's hope what is best for bitcoin.

In my own opinion i think the big interest of many people to buy cheaper market price is oneof the reasons why they are still wishing bitcoin to drops continuously so they can buy more crypto that they can sell in higher price once the market recovers.

Well,  we cannot control them, that is what they want,  their selfish plans to happen. In my own opinion, there are two reason why bitcoin users are still hoping and still want to make bitcoin fall. The first reason that comes to my mind is that, of course if bitcoin falls. It is easily for the people to buy bitcoin and later on if it will raise again its price then they will sell it. The second reason that I think why bitcoin users is still hoping for price fall is because they believe that after a fall there will be a greatest comeback of bitcoin.

That is what we call greed. Sometimes new cryptos think that they have the guts to take down the pioneer of the cryptocurrency but it has proven wrong. To think that they are trying to bring down Bitcoin is the fact that greediness will lead to no good in all aspects.

Those people want low price to buy cheap Bitcoins but actualy after buying they want the price to rise high quickly so that they can earn fast profit. yes, there are many factors that cause it to happen. as you say, some developers do it just to boost its crypt value. the rest spread FUD to lower the bitcoin price and then buy it. this is the world of crypto full of intrigue and so there is always market manipulation.

Sometimes we can not blame them maybe they have their own reason why but it's really hurt, maybe they have less money and they want to buy more for long term.

It is not the problem of the single person but a lot of people are here who want to buy bitcoin I high amount but they don’t have enough money for it so they are trying to make the price down with lower the value, I told all my friends to invest in bitcoin a few months ago but some of them did not buy because the price was not so high but after this new trend now they want to see bitcoin 6k again which is  not possible because bitcoin has started to rise now.

there may be 2 reasons for it, the first one is that investors can earn money even when btc falls by making short positions on it and the second one the whales everytime wishes the lowest price possible to make their investing and pump the coin.

I think most of that bad vibes are coming from those that either have lost so much that it's really hard for them to stand up and regain what they lost; those that are up until now skeptics and doubters that even though they don't have ample knowledge are easy to judge the market and its assets and have branded it as an auto-failure; or those that have tried for a couple of times but failed on the onset because of lack of knowledge. And therefore, instead of trying to get to know the system better, they just try to input bad luck and vibes to it because they have experienced such difficulties that most people did, but then since they are not serious, they chose not to get back up.

There just afraid of what it could become, I don't really think they want it to go bad for BTC unless it becomes a thing they are gonna need in there lives down the road.

Yes that can be the main reason that they want the bitcoin price to dump because they want to buy bitcoin with a low price and it can only be possible if the price is dumps, but i think that bitcoin price was trading too much low for a long time and therefore i do not think that bitcoin price will dump any more but now the bitcoin price is expected to continue increasing for a long long time.

I'm not surprised by the news about the fall in the price of bitcoin. This is a bad trick, tends to be cruel because spreading news that is conditioned can make bitcoin prices fall to get maximum profit.

I do not know in this current market people will going to wish for more market price drop. I had thought about this since bitcoin and other crypto are now in the red zone and the lowest market price for crypto recorded on 2018. As we all know that cryptocurrency was good at 2017 and that should not be forgotten and should continue to fall that way.

Once there is a new coin in the market, the owners of the coin sees bitcoin as a huge threat and would do anything, I mean anything to convince the masses that their coin is more profitable than the number one most traded coin in the market. It is mainly because sone peopke want to get in for a much lower prices obviously. We always have to look for a much lower price for a buy back right? Buying at high prices is something like a suicide thing for an investor as we all know that. Though todays prices are still cheaper compared to that way back 2017 which is more or less $20,000. I think this is the workings of ego which are expressed through hate toward bitcoin. We all consider ourselves as special, and it is the expectation, not the exception. When people invest massively in some altcoin, they are associating themselves with this coin as it is the way to justify their choice, especially if there is nothing else to dance on. They start to think it is special, the best of the breed, so to speak. Obviously they are unconsciously putting it above any other coin, but as bitcoin is at the top, the easiest and most practical way of doing that is to degrade and defame it.

This is not what true investors do or should do, they shouldn't marry their investment, but this is how things are in the cryptoworld. And even your own post confirms just that - "we should accept that bitcoin is the KING". I think many projects rely on the price of Bitcoin to fall or rise. Sometimes when Bitcoin goes up, the price of their project falls and when Bitcoin goes down, the price also falls. This is what makes many people fed up and they want also their altcoins to rise as many big BTC holders make and made their money also through buying and selling altcoins. We should be celebrating the success that bitcoin is now finally bringing Cryptocurrencies to the masses, not wishing it to FO. We've barely taken off in a brand new market and we have such negativity within the community, it's quite concerning really. From my point of view, it makes absolutely no sense why anyone would hate it to the point they want it to vanish. People should remember, without bitcoin cryptos would probably still be a figment of someone's imagination. Fine, we get the tech is flawed, so what, it WILL eventually be fixed, be patient. One thing that I see about what they are up to is that they want to acquire more bitcoins. If they could acquire more bitcoins, they could fund their project well when the market goes up. Your opinion that if bitcoin is going down, then altcoin will be going down too. I am not really agree with that, Because I have seen some Project that is not depending on the prices of bitcoin, even when the bitcoin is going down and the other coin are going down too, that coin of the Project was not going down, even it was going up. So, the prices depends on the comunity.

As far as it's usefulness as a day to day currency for anyone and everyone goes, it is absolutely dogshit, and that position will be taken up by another cryptocurrency (maybe one that exists now, maybe one that isn't even a thought yet).
 The thing is, that for Bitcoin to succeed in doing what it is good at, it doesn't care how many USD it is worth, so if enough people hold Bitcoin for those purposes, with it's limited supply the price will continue to rise. However as it's successors gain adoption according to their niches, there is the chance that in the end Bitcoin will be left by the wayside as the world realises that not only can these new 'coins' replace fiat currency, they also make Bitcoin obselete. The main thing Bitcoin has going for it is it has been around for a long time, and apart from scandals with exchanges, it is damn secure. Given time, other coins may approach the level of demonstrated security that Bitcoin has, and when that day comes it may be a bloodbath.
