Please tell me, its getting on my nerves already. I lost 40% lately on stupid moves and i need to recover. Is it safe to invest back in alts now. What can we expect in next 1-2 months. Anybody has a glass ball? I see green candles today. Can it be next bull trap or the market is recovering now?

It seems to me that the bullish trend has not yet arrived. The growth of altcoins and bitcoin should not be expected until August, so now relax a little and do not trade. It is necessary to wait for the right moment.

First and foremost, don't get my couple of cents as an expert's take. Secondly, never let your emotions run your decisions. It will be a tragic end to your portfolio if your emotions prevail. Avoid it.

The market has been unreliable these past few days. Green candles do not mean recovery. They simply signify growth. Up to what point, we are not sure. What I am a bit positive about is that the prices will not go down deeper anymore. There will be decreases in prices but not that big anymore, after all the red candles that we've seen in the last several months. So, I think it is safe to get back to alts right now. There might be a longer waiting though for your gains.

I agree with what is said above. Below there is nowhere to go. Perhaps to frighten the hamsters and make them lose some more crypts, the market will shake a little more, but overall, I think there will be a general growth of the market. Don't panic and don't lose hope. The market cann't only grow.

I don't think that, now is the best time to invest in altcoins  market because bitcoin is still in the bearish mode and like we have experience here when bitcoin is going down it pull down altcoins. Investing into cryptocurrencies market is not bad but you have to have long-term views.

I am very positive that we are no going to bottom now that is why you can consider going back to alternative coins. The green candles is not to be trusted now and probably be a bull trap as mention but for me green candles can be also consider as growth slowly to an up trend.

I'm sure that there is no need to panic now. You just need patience. The altcoyins are now a very good time for shopping. I buy it myself and wait for growth in August

We need to be patient this time and we shouldn't really fix our minds on profit because market is always up and down. We need to do better research before we go in because a good coin will always grow.

No one can say yes, this is the bottom. There can always be more bottom prices. Make some smart moves with buying promising altcoins that has a potential to grow.

Personally I doubt its the bottom, the market growth from 10bn cap to 800 bn was insane in Jan, this year even if it settles around 200 bn thats still a 20x growth for people who invested back in Jan 17 - these same people will still sell at these low prices, as its all profit for them.
However once some of the larger coins get working products, such as ADA's net coming up the next few months, we will hopefully see a resurgence in both interest from the general public, and prices.

Just to form another bottom is the market will start strong rebound.
Be patient waiting for the cows to start running.
Seize the opportunity is an art, those who stay in the end will win the market for a long time.

No one has a glass ball here and I can't guarantee you if its safe to invest back in alts now. Every coin is dropping and in correction so if you want to jump to alt coins, analyze.

Every month we spend in this sideways movement is building momentum for a big move for the market. But beware, it could go either way. So many bottoms breached, so many lows reached, so we may yet see more of that for many more months, if not all the way til next year.

Bulls will be back, I am sure of it. Just when this will happen is anybody's guess. Cut your losses now if you can't wait. Or turn into a holder, and come back in 2020:)

Nobody can tell exactly if this is the bottom after the market behavior in the last few months. In my opinion we're not on the bottom yet, price may rise a bit and will fall lower in the next few days.

Sorry for your loss and I think it is very good if you buy altcoin now that the price is still low and you can hold for as long as you want and secondly, I do not think the bull period has started but I am positive that the market will not fall more than it has done in the past few month but will rather begin to recover very soon.

I think that bitcoin can fall in price by 1000 - 1500 dollars. And this will be the bottom, after which a good and strong growth will begin. Altcoins can also fall strongly.

Nobody can tell if it is the bottom. It is the bottom at the current time. BTC was less than $6000, but we don't know if it can go lower. But it is possible.

Not yet man, we might be able to see the previous year's low for most coins. The interest in crypto has diminished for now, but institutions and professional traders are attracted to it and are still waiting for the cheapest price they can enter. They could be bagging lots over the counter discreetly and will probably enter the market once they see that public interest is back. Let's all be patient until Q4 of 2018, this is the time where majority of the people will have funds to spend on anything.

Nobody knows for sure when the bottom will be but Bitcoin seems to have a strong support around 6.2k level and so has ethereum and traditional emd of year bull run is hopefully coming.

with all the dumps that are still strongly happening? i hardly think so. we had a lot of drop so far but there is still some more dumps left in the whales so we may even see the same size of the dump in the following months before we can see the bottoms again.

yes you are right now the price at the exchange place is currently undergoing a very high placement so you better be able to take advantage of such situation to be able to benefit from buying at the price when the price falls. lest you miss a golden opportunity like that.

I think that if you don't panic and continue to buy during the deep at the end you will certainly be in profit, (of course if BTC will go back to certain level of price)
So it's a win-win situation if you have patience   

I keep buying recently. Because I cannot forgive myself, if I miss the chance like now which allows me to buy more altcoins at low price. That’s only one thought of mine by now.

I guess now we are  around in bottom. You can buy more coins actually now. You will sell 3-4 months later and earn a lot of money :)

We've been all looking for something huge and healthy market but it really hard to have. We still have chances to go deeper but not it goes too much.  We've been expecting bull runs in the 3rd quarter but we don't know if it arrives since market never shows recovery.

losses of 40% I think as one of the risks, but maybe in the future if dare to take steps to continue to survive when the investment may come back and losses will turn into profit. we can be optimistic if the market price will return to normal within the next few months.

But I doubt about bottom. I don't think that bear market is over and I think price can go down more. I don't believe to all these "support line" or something. Much more better to follow to the market capitalization and 24h volume. Cause we have the same volume about 10-12 billions a day for a long time. About 3-4 month. When we will see 20 billions volume or more , than price maybe can go up to 8000$ or more for BTC and that's not 100% information, just notice. It's very risky to buy altcoins now, of course if you will buy some GEM  and you can get x10 easily with them, it's ok, but if you're not sure that your alt is a real game changer, won't buy it. BTC,ETH will be safer.

I think we should continue to wait for the market to rebound in October. If in October the price of Bitcoin and the cryptocurrency market continue to fall and not break the $ 8000 level, it is better to sell Bitcoin and withdraw of this market

I see that when, people start thinking that bear trend ended, start buying alt coins, we se long red candle, then another few days, everyone relaxed, it was a simple correction, start buying, again red candle. It make us crazy >:(

A little green candle doesn't mean a lot today. Remember the real bullish trend will give you a big candle in evermoment. A little candle means there was a possibility that can become a dead cat bounce. You should pay the more attention about that. there is a lot of trap in the market right now.

Don't be scared so that you may not be loosing your money.If your coin goes down don't panic to sell it,you must hold until it can be recover and sell if your coin goes up for profit.

The thing in any financial market, there's no one can tell you where's the bottom. You build your predication on certain factors and you hope the market reacts to it. I don't think we are at the bottom now, unless there's some big news or new smart money get in.

I think the market until the end of the year will be about as it is now. You can still wait a little while until the price still falls and buy.

Dear friend the market is in the bearish trend since feb 2018 and if you have observed whenever market try to pick up the rally towards bull run, market goes down in within 2 to 3 days. Basically bull trap is going on by the manipulaters, it's better don't over trade between thus period, just hold on and have patience. Over trading will make you a huge loss play with the news and trends as our crypto markets run on the news and trends.

I think this is bottom...we saw 6kbtc strong resistance, bullish news coming out daily, ETH aproaching in 10th of august, TA shows bullish movement...

Well i think it is better to be cautious right now. I feel markets are still firmly in a bear trend and i dont think that is about to change anytime soon. I think yes we will most likely see small rallies here and there, but i dont think that signals any shift in the trend right now. Personally after the massive rally that we had in 2017 i dont think we can expect another bull run anytime soon. Perhaps in 2020 after the next reduction in mining reward.

It can't be known but I think same like most people, the market is on the bottom now but it can still fluctuate a lot before a bull run.

As I think this is the lowest price crypto market can fall to at the moment :). But can you share what did you do and why you lost more than 40%? I think you shouldn't worry so much cause you just need to take a look at crypto market at the moment and you'll be able to see that price of every cryptocurrency is being stable and I think it's a signal that it's the deepest place that this market can fall to :D

Anyone can say any speculation but the other question is, who anf what speculation will you trust? There are some opinions that is near to happen and all of these you will only believe in one which you think is appropriate with your thinking. So i will give mine, the market is not in the bottom yet and we have a lot of traps incoming follow and trade in trend.

The market is really under value so most of the investors are confused in this situation. But I know the bull run is start soon on next month and all the peoples are waiting for good market so we should not drop the crypto investment. I hope again all are gradually investing on Bitcoin and altcoin.

I really doubt that we have already hitted the bottom, but i would really like to think that we had, anyway, i am more than sure in that the price of all the altcoins are not going to be droping anymore, otherwise, just buy more guys, that is the way to go

If you want to play save you can hold it until you earn with your investment (maybe take a long time). But if you are a brave person you can buy again and just hope there is no bull trap so you can close your loses, but if the price goes down you will lose a lot of money.

I think there is no more token left to be sold by the weak holders and traders, i read that the sell orders are being absorbed.
But i still dont see any indicator to turn the market into bullish.

The market fell very low compared to the prices that we saw in December 2017. But many analysts say that bitcoin will fall even lower soon.

40% is quite normal loss for now, i know people who lost around 90% from their depo and they still didn't sell anything. It is very hard and nervous times now and very long fall from almost 20k for BTC, but patience is the key now, i think we will see green market very soon, especially if we get good news about BTC ETF.

Keep in mind if bitcoin gets stronger and its dominancy increases then we might see further suppression in altcoin prices till the btc reach its peak then it will be altcoins turn, some people also think that this time btc and altcoins will grow together because of large institutional koney coming into the market, we can only wait and see what happens at the moment.

Don't be discouraged because of losses. Be calm and take a rest, think about how much experience you've got and make conclusions about your strategy, fit it to the market conditions, make it more flexible. BTW I think that the market is not on the bottom yet.

Maybe I should change my mind. That was a huge pump. 700$ dollars a day and about 20 billions volume for 24 hours and BTC price went up. By the way BTC volume was increased from 2 billions to almost 6 billions a day and now we can see price more than 7000.
Maybe in the end of June we saw a bottom.

Hard to know, i think it was the bottom if ETF is positive in August, if not we may go lower

we now need to watch by BTC, if it fall to 6k again, then i think we may see another bottom before start the new bull-run, so be careful.

I think still the things are not clear. We will have to wait and see what will happen. Normally at the end of the year market will go up. That has happened every year so far. So we can expect an upward momentum in this year too. Still the market is red and down  :) another 4 months to go. Let's see

The current market is trending downwards and I believe it will go down again. I believe the price of Bitcoin will be worth $ 7k over the next few weeks.
That will be the opportunity for us to buy and hold in the long run. As Mark Cuban says, we should extract our salaries to invest in ETH or Bitcoin within 10 years.

Yes, green candles are only good signs if there are a few of them side by side. If you've got a long daily green candle that's bigger than the red one on the left, followed by another green, you've got a good chance of a strong increase.

No one here will have an answer for you until it has already happened. That's the thing about markets--you can never predict them, but you can position yourself for good profit if they do go in the direction you want. You just have to make sure that you aren't in a position to lose to much either. Keep the risk low.

We have had a couple of false starts in the last few weeks, with short lived price rises. What is important I think is that the fallbacks have not been too severe. I think a true bull run will arrive fairly soon.

The current situation is difficult even for an experienced trader, so the way out is participation in various companies and inaction in terms of trade. Or, then, study day trading if you want to cover your expenses.

The bottom of the market is exactly at ZERO. so lets hope we never reacht he bottom. But besides that i dont think it will get down much more. maybe btc visits 5k again but that should be it

I think it's hard to say at this point that the bottom is already here,because the amount of capital in the whole market is still insufficient, which is the most important point, then without new investors, the whole market will always be in a downward trend.

Bottom is 0 $ and no1 can tell you if or when that will happen.Looking at the previous dump real volume started coming in under 6k while before that bots did most of the trading,if i have to guess for this year i would say that bottom is 3500$

well i supposed market can't go more low this months, since bitcoin is still on stable state up there, i guess other alts it's gonna recovering in the end on Q3

It can't until the ETF announcement by SEC. that's the real reason why bitcoin gets a little pump from less than 7k to the above 8k yesterday. I thought that another wave will come and you should remember we are in the Q4 of this year.
It will only get a little dump and jump basically they are waiting for that momentum.

The trend was bullish till the uncertainty of ETF. But after ETF proposal was reject we saw the price started to fall. This is temporary and it will eventually recover. If you are thinking about investing on alt coins, then you should keep in mind that the price of alt coins are more volatile than bitcoin. The price does react with the price of bitcoin, but does not always move the same way. On other hand, if you want to invest on bitcoin, then go ahead. It is risky too, but less riskier than altcoin. You made 40% loss, because you probably invested on coins that are actually not very popular.

No one knew where is the bottom , otherwise every one will be ultra riche , the market it's impossible to predict with exactitude every time , it's only speculation

Agreed. I saw often when deep smoothly became deep v.2  ;D But the main principal is do not seek the best entry point. It's enough a good point for you. If you think that time to buy is now it means a local bottom. Any advising can lead to loses. But with own decisions we can make mistake self only

There is still no bullish trend, so it's hard to say the bear market is over.
And the biggest problem is that the probability of bitcoin's ETF passing through is small.

now i think the bottom of BTC is 7k usd then it will try to move up again and surpass 9000usd

my prediction is btc for this year should exceed $ 9000 because many new infestor coming and join.

I would suggest not to invest in altcoins right now and its better to invest in bitcoin or other top cryptocurrencies. Try to hold them for long term and see the future.

I think the market has hit it's bottom, I just can't imagine Icx is now at $0.89 from $12  as at January this year,  Kmd from $16 to $2 now even ONT is now around $2 from $10, so many altcoins are down I think the market is currently at the bottom in own opinion

I hope that now it really is. I still read articles and review from experts and many times there was said: "Next week it's the end of the crysis." I believe it every time and then I'm twice more sad about the next fall.
It has to be end now, my investments are too big.

Now is just the perfect time to return to the altcoins again. Prices for most coins are now very heavily dropped and now we have a unique opportunity to buy at a low price.

unfortunately the behavior of this market is difficult to predict, a lot of positive news and events have happened recently but the market has not reacted to them and continues to fall further. In the bullish market such news could serve as an excellent triger to growth as we have repeatedly highlighted earlier. So I'm not trying to predict the market right now and do not trust any experts on this matter, they've been wrong all the time these days.

but now bitcoin is dump again man, it touched under 7k $. i feel bitcoin very hard to rise like last year
except it has new good news from goverment in the world. maybe can grow very high

I think we are near bottom now so i can recommend to HODL all your crypto and don't sell it now for cheap prices. Bear cycles is near to end and new bull cycle will begin soon, DYOR.

I think the market is recovering slowly. because Bitcoin hasn't given a sign of a high pump. but from the candle pattern, Bitcoin has made a change in the upward direction. it's just that all need support. if you want to invest and restore your losses, it's better for the long term. if it's only 1 or 2 months, I don't think that's enough. I suggest investing in Bitcoin and ethereum. because this is the best.

It is sad that bitcoin price is mostly going down instead of having an uptrend motion.  People are expecting to have a bull run in this quarter and yet, there is no strong indication that we're going that way. Anyways, it could be better not to think it anymore cause it only give us frustration.

Nope. I think the altcoins' price can still make another decrease in the market at this moment. I still don't feel the vibe that I used to feel when a bull run slowly started in September. But I think bitcoin will stay on its normal 6k price.
