Samsung is reportedly accepting cryptocurrency payments in several Baltic States using Copay.

The Lithuania-based company made the announcement today. Customers in Tallinn, Riga, Vilnius, and Kaunas in the countries of Estonia, Latvia, and Lithuania will be able to purchase Samsung smartphones, tablets, laptops, TV sets, and more with cryptocurrency.

Is this true? Well if it's true it's a big news! As we all know millions of us are using Samsung Gadgets. It will be convenient for many that Samsung accepts cryptocurrency, no need to cash out or withdraw your moneys. If it is true that Samsung will accept BTC it has to be good news, as anything that raises Bitcoin's profile in a positive way has got to be good. I think the volatility of BTC will limit it;s use however.

i don't know about this particular one but most of these ICOs are just listing big names without any real partnership or anything behind them. this is an advertising technique they are using to pretend they are legit so that they can raise more money before running away.

If this has any thing to go by then this is a good news to the cryptocurrency world and it market entirely, and I wish other big companies will do same soon because accepting cryptocurrency and bitcoin in particular will enhance they payments channels and at the same time give them the opportunity to own big amount of the said crypto coin which is accepted.

Its a great news happening at this time that Samsung is accepting but I haven't seen the official release from Samsung as if they are going to announce it, they would surely implement it in several big countries compared to now. Wow that is amazing news.  Samsung is a huge corporation and it appears they want in on Bitcoin.  I also doubt a major business like Samsung does not make a choice like this without government approval so this news is bigger than meets the eyes in my opinion.

The good news is that Samsung has been positive about cryptocurrencies for a long time and are trying to introduce blockchain into their structure. After them, other companies can follow their example.
