If everyone around the world gets into cryptocurrency, do you think it will even help in solving or lessen socioeconomic problems? Can it be used to buy goods from other countries? It is fair to say that crypto will help a lot of people but what will it do to one's country? Will it help improve a country's economy?

bitcoin has indeed been trusted to save the lives of many people from unemployment and poverty, but don't expect too much because the country is a large scale. On this scale regulations are needed that regulate the bitcoin ecosystem, because national currencies are also important, these two things have a real interaction in their role to building the national economy, so both must run balanced

no because nothing about "people" would ever change. they would only use a different tool (bitcoin in this case) and continue doing the same thing that they have been doing before and nothing will ever be solved. not to mention that bitcoin is too small and not even adopted yet by more than 0.5% of the world to want to change economy of country!

In order to change the world one must change the environment. When certain countries lead by war then what your left with is a war torn world.  Problem with the world today is were a bunch of hypocrites.  Do as I say not as I do.  Guess what humans don’t learn the best by talk.  Moreso by action.  So it’s our own faults this bs is continued throughout history.  Not enough people question the status quo.  “It’s just the way it is” or another classic you hear  “in my opinion”. As if your opinion has any bearing when its not based in facts.  If you want to solve socioeconomic problems first thing you have to throw out is “in my opinion”.  Right now if we really want to solve the issues we have to face the cold hard truth.  That for most is unbearable and for that reason the world will continue on with the shitshow know as “Earth”.

The poor are trying to climb up and the rich are trying to keep the poor down to keep their wealth. Unless you can change this through a currency, it does not solve any socioeconomic problems.

 


Well it can replace the traditional process of a payment (which logically is part of a purchase agreement). 
Thats the whole deal behind bitcoin. You can send value to anyone in the world who is also willing to accept it. Secured, decentralized and with a low fee without any middlemen.

Yes, I believe crypto will partly solve some socioeconomic problems in a country where unemployment rate is high. Getting involve in cryptocurrency like joining bounties could help unemployed people to earn profit and  in fact there were a lot of people doing it even for those with jobs still manage to participate just to earn secondary income and it's a big help to lessen financial shortcomings.

In my own opinion, I would say yes, it can help solved socioeconomic problems of a certain country where cryptocurrncy is widely adopted by the people and government. One socio economic problem is poverty wherein I believe by joining in bounty campaigns and signature bounty campaign can generate an income right after a campaign period will be finished. The profit they made or earned could help them use in buying food and clothing for their family.

I guess you are right. Even if crypto becomes popular and used by everyone in the world, it still depends on the people and what they do with it. Its a shame because crypto can be used for a lot of things and perhaps can even help the economy... of the third world countries to be exact.

I think it can solve people's economic problems but not for the country because bitcoin cannot be controlled and its value fluctuates.

obviously crypto will help people from poverty and as a side income and even primary income. because there is too much evidence that people earn income here and become successful people. so bitcoin has solved a person's social economy. but maybe it will get a different impact if in one country almost all of the people switch professions into the cryptocurrency world, and surely the government there will give action.

Cryptos might have good advantages but it's not made to "solve" socioeconomic problems. It's not simple to solved it as different country have different status. It's a serious problem and will never end because of crypto.

To improve one country's economy , it must start to government official itself. Serious platforms, strict policies, responsible and disciplined people, serious implementations of law and lots of things should be prioritized on which it will take several years or even decades to solve that.

If crypto currencies ever go that far as you explained here then surely it will help the countries economy to grow bigger than what it is currently. This is because of its real use and bringing the liquidity into the market of crypto currency. In part, yes, if bitcoin is utilized properly and volatility is already eliminated from the ecosystem. Bitcoin can act as a hybrid reserve which a country can use in times of crisis. I think socioeconomic is very heavy word for the bitcoin world because it is itself not yet into the real world completely. The crypto currencies are yet to solve the biggest problem that they are having, and that is getting into the real world with real application of it. Unless and until they dont do it they are not going to be used really and thus they will have no so called socioeconomic effects. Plus to become the social one it has to be trading all the time which is not getting traded for other goods and valuables yet and thus lack what it takes for the dam thing to happen.

Thats just being too optimistic. It might just lead the other way. You see many countries  have adopted cryptocurrencies in an attempt to bypass trade laws, and if they become widely adopted and still be used for nefarious purposes, it could lead to really bad conclusions.

If you are thinking about a country. Then yes, definitely it can. A country where most of the people adopted bitcoin as their payment system and are not prohibited by its Government. If you are thinking as a whole world, then no. It will not be appropriate because of the traditional form of inequity in financial abilities between the people.

Bitcoin is not going to solve any of those problems that is not its mission, the mission of bitcoin is just to be a currency that has not a central authority and that does not rely on trust for its maintenance, that is all, if you want to improve your life with bitcoin you are free to do it but like in any capitalist society that does not mean that you will achieve it.

The great thing about bitcoin is that it cannot be corrupted or bribed like the current system that we have, so it is going to be more fair and those at the top will be people that deserve to be there unlike the current system in which many of the people at the top are there simply because they are friends with the right people.

I doubt that it can buy goods from other countries but it can help people to get a job and get a service that they want. It can help an economy in this manner because it will give more jobs to countries that has more man power than the available jobs. Businesses that render services also benefit from cryptocurrency. Cryptocurrencies are game changer. Their role is to allow us to do business without banks. The role of the banks will be less important in some years. Assuming that business will be more liberal and that banks and countries will have less control means that the middle class can get extra money by investing. The more powerful banks are, the poorer people will be. The more we invest in crypto, the better we will be.

Poverty and unemployment are some of the socio-economic problems. So, I would say that yes crypto can comparatively solve these problems. Comparatively, because not all areas around the world have electricity and internet connections. But this might open up the mind of the government leaders in the community to give opportunities to the less fortunate people and teach them how to get involved in cryptocurrency to improve their quality of life.

I have been a close observer of the blockchain and cryptocurrency markets for some time now. It is now pretty clear to me (and a lot of other people!) that this technology has a lot of potential. I am quite optimistic that it can radically change the way we interact, transact and trust one another. We always confuse money - which is a representation of value - with value in itself, which is quite another thing.
Bitcoin itself does not solve anything, if you are poor in dollars you will also be poor in bitcoin, that's it!

You seem to forget that while cryptocurrencies do erase national borders when it concerns transferring value as money from country to country, they can't erase borders when the question is about transferring real value as goods. So how are you going to send the actual t-shirt from one country to another even if you pay for it with bitcoins or whatever? It will still have to be cleared at the customs (unless you are trying to smuggle it), and then questions will be asked as to who paid for it and more importantly with what exactly.    According to my opinion Crypto will surely solve socioeconomic problems and it have been solved several economic problems if we look back to Bitcoin history from the beginning itself .Bitcoin is an anonymous type of transaction that is a digital and electronic currency that the transactions are done with transparency and done without a third party involvement and no identity is to be revealed for any transactions all over the world  .Bitcoin has proved it as an asset and a good long term investment that will help in times of economic crisis also .Bitcoin is a trust worthy one that cannot be manipulated by any governments . The transactions can be fast and low fees not as the banking systems that is a centralized system and Bitcoin is a decentralized one and there is no manipulation can be done due to the block chain technology and in Bitcoin transactions no double spending is effected . The African now can survive with crypto without starvation and earn their daily food .

I think those people would've found other places to invest their money if it wasn't in bitcoin. I don't think you can really blame bitcoin for socio-economic problem when you have a free choice to invest anywhere you please.

I don't hear any news about cryptocurrency is made some changes in the economy and it is not the work for Bitcoin because Bitcoin is made for the payment instead of the normal currencies but coin also been a good payment method otherwise it will not helpful for any changes in the economy.
