Cryptocurrency has witness a nose dive since the beginning of this year with still no respite in sight with investors recording outrageous loses.   As we move enter the last quarter of the year I honestly think what will lift cryptocurrency price up is not more funds ,token sale or speculators.Rather it will be entrepreneurs delivering on their projects with real technology and addicted users. Your thoughts folks

Pessimism is not the best remedy during a crisis. I'm not a top expert, but I see a way out - transfer my assets to successful day trading traders and pay them% of the profits, converted to bitcoin or etherium.

Delivery of good projects can help, but only in great numbers. I think that already quite a number of great things were ignored just because this was fit to the whales' agenda.

I honestly believe that cryptocurrency in the last quarter of this year will not see the same bull run that happened last year. As such I think the price of BTC will only be around USD $10-12k which will still be profitable but only to a certain extent.

Actually if the experts and potential entrepreneur can give their valuable idea then it will be great and such types of initiative can save this market and their innovative idea can introduce new theory and idea in the market.

I agree to some of your points. I think the market needs more stable coins which will make the market more consistent and stable. This will bring a faith in the minds of people and more people will be interested to invest in this field.

I think asking about the survival of cryptocurrency is a little bit over the top because we know that crypto has a great future and even if most of the coin son the market may not look like they are going to succeed then that's fine, new ones that can will emerge.

Unfortunately many of the icos that were created last year are disappearing really fast and are not delivering the product and service that they promised their investors, which is the main reason of why the market of icos in 2018 is so slow, people are no longer trusting that the ico in which they invest is going to give them profits or deliver what they promise.

Crypto is way past the point where it will not survive. Back in 2012 I was scared it might die. Now I just laugh at people who say stuff like that.

i have always said that the only thing that can be successful is a cryptocurrency that is actually doing something, delivering some product, solving some actual problem of the world not just pretending and using that to hype the pump and dump.
but this has nothing to do with the cryptocurrency survival and the market situation that we had so far. that is all about pump and dumps. altcoins aren't going to die, they will survive and be pumped again but for now they need to be dumped more.

The history of the whole crypto market was such that one year the fall, the other year only growth. Remember last year 2017, what was the market movement? was only growth. I believe in cryptocurrency even if it has undergoing a major down trend that took several months of this year. I had seen that cryptocurrency has been able to survive through out the successive months of dip. Though price was quite low this time, but in the recent days it had started to move up and people are now beginning to feel the slight bullish trend. That is true. People always depend on news and that is what makes them take an immediate action. The media only spreads fuds because it is against cryptocurrency in general. In addition to that, people need to rely on their instincts and not be hasty. If you want to get a good result, you have to be patient. These guys have both the means and opportunities to return the interest of the greatest possible number of investors to the crypto-currency industry. Im sure crypto needs to have a lot more adoption before real crashes will be known. Last time I checked were at 1% adoption which sure is alot of money and people but not to many when compared to stocks and real estate.

You are right because most projects out there doesnt have a clear-cut ideaology behind their project and this is causing a great concern. Also i think the industry needs a little bit of control so that it wont turn to shit. No one seems to be able to raise the cost of cryptocurrency until whales and large companies are involved. Hamsters continue to erode, and the trust of all investors has passed, and even greater sales have begun. So without significant changes, the market can simply fall to the level of its beginning.

The issue now is that we are having chaos in the space, most of these developers lack the business side their project and that is very tough to handle because of the demand from the token investors, for me with time I believe the ICO model would change to meet the reality of the market.

Think again what you said. You are talking about profit. Crypto currencies were not made for making profit, or use it as a form of long term asset storage. It was made to use it as a regular currency, to make casual day to day transactions. If people just use it as an investment, crypto currencies won't be lasting long, since people will cash out profit by converting it to fiat.
