There's always non-believers, they think that just because they don't agree with it, or because they don't understand it, that nobody else will and the market will not accept new technologies. This is exactly what is happening with cryptocurrency and blockchain. There is a lot of potential for these technologies, and only those with the breadth of mind can process the true potential.

These people are the same people who didn't believe that Amazon would become huge, and now they're kicking themselves for not buying shares when they were $20 each a decade ago. We, my friends, are the new elite, and soon everybody will be jelly.

I think they will not leave this market. They withdrew from the market because they did not trust it. But it was only a short time. So when the market is good they will keep investing again. But if they do not invest again, they will regret it

Some were only taking their time off since the market is not in yet in a good situation, they might lose interest for now but soon they might still give it a try again, some really gets too disappointed on what the bear market gives.

Generally speaking most people in the world are still not aware of the cryptocurrency and most of them have feelings that most of crypto-currencies are scam and fraud they will surely regret of not investing in, but they will not realize now may be after 5 years from now when bitcoin will worth more 50k usd.

I strongly agree with you that a lot of persons would definitely regret not investing in crypto for whatsoever reason they may have. There may several challenges in the crypto world now but with time we shall surmount them. The best decision anyone can take now is to invest in crypto and HODL for a long time without having the intention of making quick money and such would smile in the future.  The dividend of investing in crypto, we have not started enjoying at all, there are so much to enjoy in the future. Time shall tell.

The only ones who will regret not getting involved with cryptocurrencies are the ones who even today have no idea they exist. The rest should already know how this market works and how current prices represent a great opportunity to buy cheap before the next big pump (bull run or whatever you wanna call it).

Regardless, I don't expect a massive increase towards the end of the year, at least not as big as to make people regret not investing in cryptos. Unless of course something big happens.

We could not blame them because they had a right to decide which better they think are if they knew already the negative side that will be happened on crypto they stay away for this and no regretting will happen.
People regretting when they are investing in crypto when the price was down, probably they are a newbie in the crypto world(IMO).

I already regret that I did not pay more attention to cryptocurrencies three years ago, many people who believed in the crypto three or five years ago now have earned a lot and can not worry about their investments for a long time even with the fall of the market. Well I am late to know crypto but for me i am still lucky because I still have a chance to know it better and to invest my money now that many coin decrease the price and infact almost all of the coin are drop a lot.

I think I will agree with you on this, currently the prices of crypto currencies in the market, is very down and cheap and this is a good time to buy some cheap altcoins in the market and hold them for a bull run to come.

I missed the increase that happened in 2015/2016 when the price got from $250 to $2000+, so when it was 2017 and price dropped back to $1000+ I never wanted to mess around with such an opportunity so I went for it and invested my money, but I didn’t know that 2017 will be a huge increase despite how people and media were kicking against cryptocurrency, at a time I felt like quitting from it, but changed my mind and decided to finish up fee the year and surprisingly there was a pump.

It's because cryptocurrency cannot make investors sure that it will be risen.
But as you know, deduction of price doesn't mean destruction of cryptocurrency.

Of course now is a very good time to earn a car and even an apartment. Someone on the contrary lucky that not invested and lost their money. I'm one of those who regretted that I have jumped into crypto when I heard of it.
I saw bitcoin at $300 last 2016 when I took interest on it. I tried to get some btc 3 times but failed.

Then after a year, I checked back on crypto and it's already $2,000. That triggered me to really push thru.
Seeing btc at $6,000 is still 2x it's value last April 2017.

More people will be drawn to crypto in the coming years.

I agree with you many people are relying on price increases, but we can not do it because of loss money and they wait for the right time to invest it again if the market will rise, what we gonna do for now is to be patience.

But if you're an oldie or even only few years in this field then I bet this won't happen to you ;D. @OP ~ Just a clarification, nobody knows whether the bullish run will finally start before this year ends. So don't feel so sure about this issue because it creates hype that might victimize kind of investors which get easily influenced by rumors. For sure, they will have frustration if what you've said not happened at all. That's a lot of misery :(.

I felt the same way when bitcoin was below $1000 last year and I envy those person who hold thousand of BTC when it reaches $19,000. Yes many will regret it if market will bounce back thru bullish run but how about if the market continue to fall like if Bitcoin will reach as low as $1,000 or less and you just bought it at $6,000 today? Those who did not buy will turn to laugh on you and i hope you will not regret it because for me the market is really unpredictable in which no one can predict the future except if they can dictate the price movement.

Crypto will grow if there is a lot of mass adoption, which is greatly influenced by the growth of new communities. Coins continue to grow every day, and the market is more divided. So maybe we need market stability first, and that will be the key to attracting new investors. Maybe at the end of the year there will be a big increase, but if it can bring the marketcap up to half of the highest point, that will be a good thing.

In my opinion, investing in crypto, besides having to choose the right coin, we also need the right time to get success. And this year starts with the highest price, so I think it would be natural for many people to conclude that crypto will die, even though this is only a correction from last year's increase.

I have made that mistake before. I sold all my holdings because of fear that the market does not recover from the decline only to find out a few months later the prices went back up again. Since then I learned from it and whenever price decline happens I always try to buy more to add to my holdings.

invest in crypto is the most promising. many are already getting great results from this and of course, it is true would be quite detrimental and definitely regret it cannot get the results from the investment of crypto. I think the acceptance is increasing. People are still skeptical due to unprecedented volatility. Not everybody is comfortable with investing their money in something they know so less about. Yes, in fact, I regret because when I saw ETH first its price was just 0.2$ and see how much now it is.People really fear to take chances or fear to face loss.I know I could have invested at least 20K of the dollar on altcoin in past.But it was absolutely my fault.I think crypto wasn't also much popular then but who meet crypto and didn't invest, I am sure they are feeling absolute disaster like me.

this could happen if all coins increase higher like in the last year and people will regret and sad because they don't invest in cryptocurrency. so if you still have coins in your wallet, then you need to be ready for the rise of the cryptocurrency so you don't miss the good time to sell your coins. this year is good for the investing in cryptocurrency as all price of the coin is down too deep and I think people have a good chance to buy any coins at the low price and they can hold it for a while until the crypto market can back to increase higher.

I think, in an age when technology 4.0 is developing very aggressively, there are not many known in the world about Bitcoin or cryptos. If the governments of these countries can allow Bitcoin to circulate in their country, now the world economy has probably changed a lot.

I won't really agree to that. That is the way the world is structured, anytime I new technology emerge, there are usually the early adopters who see the larger picture and there are people that come in after the whole tech is developed.
Crypto is in the early adopters stage and we will be happy we adopted cryptos at this stage later in the future.
