Hello everyone,
Just asking your opinion about the crisis of ethereum,this coin will become useless? Or still price correction?
I doubt to hold ethereum coz I saw the ethereum value still goes down:(
What do you think guys it's time to SELL or HODL?

Feels a bit late to sell an asset after loosing like 1000$ per ETH hehe so now is the time to HODL again, time to sell has been the last 8 months. At this point we are just as likley to see some upgrades to eth and perhaps a reversing of the falling trend as we are likely to see further drops.

Ethereum is not a shit coin.Many of the altcoin is depend on Ethereum.So we can't say the price of Ethereum will reach 0$ in a week. Now the price prediction of Ethereum and other cryptocurrency is hard. This is the time to hold your Ethereum. Don't sell at low price. Holding always prevent you from the loss.

Don't sell. Just keep holding. If you have money, buy more since the price is still very down. You will benefit greatly from it later.

I truly believe ethereum will rise again. I mean the entire market is a bear market right now, so why only look at Ethereum right? Also ethereum is unique compared to other coins. I know that it will become something great again.

Remember, so many projects were created and up until now, many are still creating their projects via this platform.
So, I don't believe that this will decline its value to $0.
Look at the charts, the price is low because the bitcoin's price is also low, but it follows the behavior trend of btc.
If btc goes up, eth also goes up. But, the likelihood of being zero-value will not gonna happen.
If you're thinking that way, so many tokens will perish and a huge number of projects and money are at stake here.

Hello, I think this is a routine correction. So you should HOLD your Etherium  and wait for a better time.

Who said that Ethereum will drop down to zero? (Yeah, very obvious that is you). But you know what, I understand your fear of losing and actually this is quite strange for me because I got used to eth having green arrows as well when btc rises. Nevertheless, there's still no need for worrying. It's just a .77% drop not even half of its price ;D so do't be stressed out. Eth is preceding next to the king remember that, it will not easily fall as what you think of :).

Ethereum cannot suddenly become valueless to zero. It may get to $500 again before the end of the year.

if there is an opinion that says that it might be because of the many ICO programs that sell ETH they have as operational funds for the projects they run, maybe for some time to come do not rush to buy ethereum because it still indicates a downward trend and tends to weaken , if you intend to buy ethereum it's better to wait until the end of this year to see the next trend in the coming year

Even ethereum is at the floor today, I won't be bothered because I know that it will just move up. There are no valid news and we cannot declare if it will goes up but probably, it will hype when bitcoin will move up also. I am just holding my coins today and I am hoping that what my prediction will become true.

I dont think it will go to totally 0 value 100$ maybe and this is good opportunity to invest on eth, ill wait for that and surely i will invest i have read it will still go down to 120-130$ so just keep am eye.. I believe on ethereum the way i believe on bitcoin.

So for Ethereum holders, specially those who bought around $300, you don't have a choice but to hold for a long time.

I doubt that ethereum would lose it's value to zero as a lot of coins use its platform. Market these days are raining in red even in the stocks market. Asian countries for example is in inflation which might been also causing the market's struggle.

Ethereum won't be useless, correction is where it's at right now due to the inflated supply. If I have some ETH right now I would sell it if it came from a bounty which doesn't cost you anything. There's no sign of improvement or recovery within the past 3 months I won't be surprised if it reaches $150 or much lower.

On the bright side you have the Constantinople hard fork that might stop the correction.

Constantinople hardfork could be main issue for ethereum price recovery .investors now become frustrating with current market condition.there is no other way to recovered eth beside main news such as constantinople hardfork and also cboe eth future trade.

This is very laughable. Since the price of Ethereum started falling drastically, I have seen so many posts on this forum saying that Ethereum may have come to an end. Believe me or not, Ethereum cannot touch down to zero. Even if it falls below $100, it will get to $1000 again in the near months.

I suggest that if you have ETH it's better to save it first and if you still have the capital to buy it, please buy it again. I am very sure of this ETH.

First of all I know one thing for sure, ETH cant go to zero because its use is unlimited and many ICO's are evolving on the platform. Lets forget about the newly formed ICO's may be they will not use ETH platform and thus may not invest into the ETH at all.

But dont forget that ETH is already being used by many old ICO's which are bigger platforms today and need ETH all the time. If by any chance other stops using it then these will be the projects who will keep the ETH on going.

ETH is still great investment. Just buy it and have faith on the time!

Under the current situation, ethereum does not threaten anything. No matter how low this coin does not fall in price, it is all an artificial manipulation of prices. The crypto-currency market will rise, again it will be good to climb and ethereum. This coin can not be depreciated at its level of demand.

That is something can I says impossible to happen for ethereum. The decline price at this time is the same thing as the decline in bitcoin prices which continues to decline looking for the lowest price. However, if the recovery in price comes ethereum will return to its price, yeah it's just a normal correction. We will see ethereum's price rise again, only a process to wait for it.

Even with these dropsin ETH, I still believe ETH will regain its value in the market. You can buy now some coins if you're confident enough and then hodl. Don't panic sell your coins as you might lose way more than you're losing right now.

Have you experience holding a shitcoin but it doesn't get to zero? So apparently even a shitcoin doesn't get to zero so what more for eth? First of all, it's true that ETH is not a good position now. And it's dumping from last few days as well. Yesterday 12/9/2018 ETH was about $176 But now ETH is around $189-190
So hopefully it will increase soon and I believe its value won't become zero value at all.

If ethereum becomes zero, of course many coins will suffer the same fate, I think there is no negative issue about ethereum, when the ethereum market is dropping this because of the effects of the market being dropped.

ETH won't be useless. It's still one of the strongest crypto projects out there. Technically I suppose we are still in price correction, but to me it feels too low already relative to other coins.
So it's not time to sell, it's too late for that as we are likely nearing the bottom.
The question is whether to hold or to buy more - if the current ETH dollar price is below the price you bought in at, then this is the perfect opportunity to buy some more and so reduce your average purchase price (dollar cost averaging). Otherwise just hold. Personally I am holding.

if everyone had sold then ethereum price would have fallen more than now, everyone still holds eth and some people are ready to buy back. dont be too panic about this situation and try to focus on your other plans.

ETH prices have come back up and are now above 190$. Possibly in the next week ETH will fall but I guess it will not fall below 150$ and that price is the bottom of ETH, If it falls below 150% then no one will trust ETH anymore and it will quickly die and the market will become more chaotic than ever.

Ethereum will never be a zero. This is the second well known and trustable altcoin after bitcoin. Awareness, when many many people know and trust, is the most important factor for any currency - fiat or crypto.

all the ICO’s who collected eth which made the whole rally from 10 to 300 in the first place did only sell like 20% I read somewhere, so they still have a gazillion coins. Some of them are now competitors, biggest eg EOS with loots of eth to sell. And ICO Boom is over, there are a lot less new ICO’s right now that could bring new eth-demand.

There are no ‘cool useful’ dapps, probably not even possible with the current tech (ethereum slow).

Scalability is not solved soon, will be more like end of 2019-2020.

The good:
Ethereum has the biggest developer-scene around it.
They are focusing their development on solving scaling.

Price wise it’s already pretty low. If bitcoin should rise (next half year) it should take eth with it mostly.

Stories of misery/failure:
I bought Ethereum at about 300usd before the runup to 1200,
felt pretty secure nearly all last year,
then it falling more and now lot's of reasons it will still fall more (all those ico's basically are still sitting on their eth?!).

Few days ago was thinking about selling it when i was 5%+ still. But i 'had the feeling' bitcoin goes up and takes eth a bit with it,
it did not and now my eth is -40%. As always when i am already at a loss i hate to sell even more.
Lection i guess: leave it on exchange and have a stop loss

I am bad at this. I basically only buy. But i don't think trading will help me.
My 'strategy' is basically just 'hoping that there will be another bull run in next 2 years'.

hell NO!! ethereum are the most valuable altcoin of any time. even ethereum's price can reach next to bitcoin in the next few year. ethereum is the game changer of cryptocurrency, many new altcoin using ethereum platform to run their project and held ICO. i think the main coin in cryptocurrency are bitcoin and ethereum, and the rest of altcoin willnot last for more than 10 years. if the drop still continues, the minimum price for ethereum should be $50 and will not goes below that price.

This is exaggerated, not all altcoins depend on ETH as there are many other altcoins which are not paired to ETH only. Probably what you mean is altcoins that are eth token based. Any coins has the chance to become zero value once no body using it anymore. The same as ETH or even BTC, it will become zero value at the end of crypto (not sure if it will happen or not) but the chance is always there.

Anyone selling out of panic now will only end up regretting it pretty fast than they would realize. Just holding on to whatever you have is always the best thing to do and if you have funds somewhere hanging around, buying the dips is also another very smart thing to do. The market is not going to remain in a downtrend forever and it would pick up back as recovery at some point is inevitable as long as the market is not dead and still have a lot of usefulness and support.

You should not even be considering selling at this stage when the market is already down as that is likely the most absurd and dumbest thing to do. This is a time to buy, the market generally is in a downtrend and sure, no one knows if Ethereum will peradventure go lower than it is now, but if you are smart, and you are looking at the long term, then you will make buying moves right now rather than selling at all.

Cryptocurrencies can drop near zero at any time. My advice Do not put more money than the loss that you can bear. Yes there are many fuds spreading on the ethereum price and others resulted into panic selling. Well, I am still holding I believe their is a chance for ethereum to stand and will increase it's value. Eventhough price are really down Im still holding.

I am actually looking forward to that region myself as we could get to see a lot of demand in this support region and I am looking to see the price action on that support. Nothing has changed the downtrend movement and things might still go awry even before we start seeing some major bullish move in the market, but all the same, the market is giving a very good opportunity to buy and for ETH that has gone this low, it is definitely a good buy.

Not only Ethereum but almost all top altcoins are down as market is in bearish. But when the market recovers then Ethereum and other top altcoins will be the first to gain the profit and right now ETH price is almost 80% down the max down we can see is $150 and if you have bought in high can hold or average the buying price by buying in low. Don't give up to hold your ethereum because ether will not become 0 because the possible price of that coin in the future upto 5 digit like bitcoin. Ethereum is in a bad position right now, and I don't see the point of selling it. This is a very small price. I would have kept that coin until better times. Maybe when it rises above $ 200.

Despite the recent ethereum price, I don't think that the price of it can hit zero. All I see in this term is just a great opportunity to buy more ethereum. I believe that it can rse again with a great speed again.

Ethereum is not a waste but more valuable and worth more than others. That is obviously impossible. If you're going to see it's performance ever since it started, it is already at a top coin level and the only way for Ethereum is to go up and to go down. Of course there will be times that its price is going to decrease but it is just a normal thing.

I’ve been a big fan of ETH with a decent mining farm to prove it. The fact is ETH does not work if the price is too high. You need ETH to run dapps. Smart contract work but not when they’re too exspensive to deploy. For this reason, I believe eth WILL NOT make you rich.
