Title: Government trying to stop bitcoin, what I see
Post by: StImelda on September 18, 2018, 10:23:33 AM
Here is what I see each time the government tries to stop or control bitcoin-

https://i.imgur.com/rFzTXc3.jpg

Bitcoin is designed to be censorship resistant, peer-to-peer payment system designed to remove the control by centralized institutions like banks . When bitcoin eventually achieve mass adoption, it will not really be much of an issue if some Governments place a ban on it within their countries.

That is not a surprise and they are trying to do that through media and many sources most of the time but what they haven't understand that how can they control a decentralized currency. Because if they wants to stop a fiat currency or a social media site they can just take down there system through politics or lows but for bitcoin the core network is not centralized to any organization or a group of people so they can make bitcoin holders to fear and sell there assets or make some local restrictions but other than that nothing can be done until we have faith in it and that is the most important fact that can decide the bitcoins future

If even goverments want to stop Bitcoin, then they get it badly. States recognize Bitcoin and this is of great importance. I think in the future goverments will use Bitcoin.

It's true that majority of the governments can't control bitcoin or any other cryptos at its raw nature. But on the other hand they have few more mechanisms in place to take the entire game to a different playing field.

To stop such an advanced technology, they can resort to primitive techniques like regulatory interrogation.

Lets assume, you earn 60k USD from your day job. You have also earned 20k USD from bitcoins or any other crytpo related method. Now while filing your tax information, you have shown the entire 80k income in your tax sheet. The tax authority can immediately pitch in to know from where that extra 20k came from. If you don't have a convincing reason, you will land in trouble.

I am sure majority of the governments will resort to such techniques once they will understand that cryptos can't be stopped technically.

Yes they want to stop or  bitcoin but i doubt that they stop this because bitcoin now was now world wide currency that easy to use for any transaction and if they want to manipulate bitcoin they cant because bitcoin is not part of government property so that no one can stop spreading news regarding bitcoin.

The problem is if the user keeps queue on the gate lines. Currently, there are some people that giving away their identity to just use cryptocurrencies it is ironic if we know decentralized is the nature of it. Some people are blindly giving their personal identity without worrying about anything, it makes no difference to a fiat system that usually being used.

The government is always against anything they will not have some benefits from. Moreover, looking at bitcoin and the blockchain technology, people into bitcoin will not save all their money in the bank and the government gain some kinda benefits from banks, they will try to stop anything that will prevent people from invest in banks.

That's what happens, where competition is getting tighter and bitcoin has good power for its development. It is as if the development of bitcoin threatens the country's finances and is afraid of negative forms such as smuggling and laundering.

AM optimistic it will be adopted and its gonna be soon

As long as you never let them put your wallet address together with your name through any KYC type of bullshit then Bitcoin will always remain free.  The second we give up and let them identify us the crypto will be used as a weapon against us.  It all comes down to if we fight KYC.  This means your  going to have to be a big boy and be responsible for your own security and you are also responsible from protecting yourself from hackers.  Can't go crying to the government to save you.  Are you sure you want to be free?

I think this is not a good thing. The day to day technology, like a Bitcoin currency, is a vital part of money. It also makes far transactions easy. However, I think people who prefer Bitcoin will be opposed to banning Bitcoin.

A government that tries to stop bitcoin is a negative thing that will emerge, everything feels stiff and limits the development of bitcoin and the global market.
How wise the government will legalize bitcoin, which certainly brings good luck. Every day development always increases and develops well, so don't let this government stop bitcoin.

Yes you are right that when Bitcoin will eventually achieve mass adoption, it will not really be much of an issue if some Governments place a ban on it within their country .The main reason for any country for not allowing the use of Bitcoin is the fact that it is not under the control of any government. So in order to stop or we can say to prevent it's misuse they will simply ban it.

bitcoin in every country only threatens the banking system instead of threatening the country itself, all banks are disturbed by the emergence of bitcoin as a more sophisticated transaction system than banks in general, one reason for sure they lost many bank customers, bitcoin users only use banks as streams funds for disbursement into fiat money that will be used directly not to save in the bank, sorry that is only my opinion

Bitcoin adoption continues to occur and bitcoin continues to grow until we see the market finally recovering slowly. I personally do not feel worried or afraid if there is one government from the existing country prohibiting bitcoin, because I believe there are still many countries that support bitcoin, statistics of bitcoin legalization around the world we can see and bitcoin legalization has been done by many countries. So with a ban or anything from just one government, I am sure that is not a feared threat.

Bitcoin was created for freedom from banks and a rotten economy so that people could use it anonymously and independently of the state ! The state will not be able to influence it, as it is controlled only by people and in their hands all the power .

I belive that bitcoin go to up off his knees and raising over Fiat money

We all believed that bitcoin can go up again, but I don't see it raising over Fiat system. Most countries (specially 3rd world), relies on fiat in order to function. So we won't see fiat getting overrun by crypto. They will continue to flourish together with crypto market.

i think the adoption is gradual process, even if government  try to ban it.. is just for a few countries because my country uses bitcoin for transactions mostly restaurant over here are accepting bitcoin.

Its gonna be slow, remember bitcoin is just on its early stage, we are barely 10 years, so there's going to be a lot of things to change in the next 10 years. We don't know, we might see adoption coming, but stopping bitcoin is a different thing. Government can't stop it at his point.

The government has been trying and has been hopelessly failing to stop the wave of Bitcoins users, some government have acted wisely and made it a legal tender like Japan. I feel bitcoins has the potential to uplift developing nations the most as they'll get a currency that'll appreciate in time, and can be cashed for fiat. If only governments were wiser they should legalise it and then tax it, this way both the users and governments shall earn money, as bitcoins cannot be stopped by any rules, or boundaries.

I don't think there's a possibility that something like that might happen. They can remove obstacles, try to restrict them, but not stop them. Because no one can stop technology and change.

Bitcoin has no owner and that probably is the only reason why it is illegal in so many countries. Government of such countries try to stop bitcoin because of the potential threats the anonymity of such a powerful currency carries. If it were only a little more controllable it would have been viewed totally differently especially by the governments of countries.

Bitcoin claims that “It is the first decentralized peer-to-peer payment network that is powered by its users with no central authority or middlemen.”

That lack of central authority is the primary reason governments are afraid of the crypto currency. To understand this fear,

It is important to know a little bit about governments and conventional currencies.

I think the government shouldn't bother with trying to stop bitcoin, but instead use it as an opportunity to take advantage of the situation, why not impose tax to earn out of it.

Governments can not control Bitcoin due to it's decentralized nature, they can and will regulate exchanges, and trading in it through conventional channels such as banks, this will mean that it will always  be an interesting but marginal system. The tech behind it however will be adopted into the mainstream.

In fact, Bitcoin now is becoming rapidly grow wider, means that bitcoin is acceptable and useful for many people. It would be better that government stop trying to stop or ban bitcoin, there should be a rules and regulation of it. Government should realize that this trend of digital money is useful even comfort of today life.

Yes many government want to stop bitcoin and its progress. Because its progress creates a lot of problems for them. According to many government bitcoin affects their economy growth. It affects their country national currency value at international market and also affects their national bank profits and because of this reason China ban it first. Chinese government also influences many other government to ban it in other country. Association of bitcoin us another reason behinds it ban in many country like Israel, Ecuador etc.

The issue is if all the users keeps lines on the door lines. As of now, there are a few people that giving endlessly their personality to simply utilize digital forms of money it is amusing in the event that we know decentralized is its idea. A few people are indiscriminately giving their own personality without stressing over anything, it has no effect to a fiat framework that as a rule being utilized.

As we all know that Bitcoin is based on blockchain technology which relies on the principle of decentralization which takes away the power from the centralised authorities and gives it to the users who are using it, this not only optimises that time but also it utilizes the power of masses that reduces the cost of the transaction with an improved level of trust. That's why the government is not willing to transfer the power to us.

When there is a mass adoption of Bitcoin, I think the ban is no longer meaningful. I think Bitcoin will stay alive as long as people are still interested in adopting it.

There is a very good picture in the second post of this topic, illustrating intentions of some local governments to prohibit global cryptocurrency. This is useless and resembles the struggle of Don Quixote with windmills.

Bitcoin restrictions is a west of time, because bitcoin is a Crypto currency that has a potential to save the world, and secondly it is a digital asset which many people invest and trade every 24hrs of the day. Which is government.

If governments could effectively stop a peer to peer network, they would’ve shut down the illegal practices of torrent websites over a decade ago. Even the success of the hydra-like torrent sites isn’t a perfect analogy for bitcoin, though, because cryptocurrency's legal status is far easy to debate.

Even many times Government trying to stop bitcoin but it doesn't happen because a lot of people are still using it and fighting for it. Bitcoin gives freedom to everyone from government that's why it is decentralized that if ever mass adoption will continue i think ban has no place for bitcoin. Bitcoin will continue to lived and survive because people keep believing on it.

Exactly, in fact even one country ban bitcoin there are still so many countries who keeps on supporting this technology so technically when time comes those ban decision will be revoke and they will finally support not just bitcoin but also other cryptos. Be confident in this market, I believe we will on a good journey towards a greater future.

I wouldn't say that because they have insufficient technology to stop bitcoin, but this is a global phenomena sweeping each and every nation. Regulations is the only solution for them (for tax purposes) and not to control or ban bitcoin or crypto in general.

In order for a government to stop a bitcoin or any virtual trading it may violated most of its rules, terms and conditions. We all know that bitcoin really helps people as what the data says. But because of some misuse and overuse of this system governments are making moves to control the damages and reduce the number of victims. Maybe government is doing this because they want to make sure that everyone is safe and not being scammed or hacked.

I also agree bro. even though they are hesitant about trying to close bitcoin, I don't think it's possible, bro. but who can determine the fate The digital world of bitcoin is the future. because the world of bitcoin can grow because of the large number of people who invest in it

Government force will only make us pursue more anonymization. Ultimately guiding us to the road of tax-avoidance.

The government should never have gotten enough force to oppress the citizens to this extent. On every step we are dragged down by taxes and laws that don't help the population but the special interests.

They can force the cryptocurrency community to the shadows but the long term war is one that they'd lose. Since it's so obvious they might as well play ball.

Governments know that they can not shut down the network but they put laws criminalizing any one using it and their strategy works good.

The truth is that their efforts are indeed a waste of time in the long-term.

Even if the short-term there are a lot of ways to avoid censorship by close-minded governments that it's really interesting how they believe banning it will do anything meaningful to anybody who really wants to do it. Mass adoption will not happen yet anyways.

The image is in fact pretty accurate.

It is really more than a gate with no fences arround it. There is no denying how pivotal the role of the governments when it concerns bitcoin and the cryptocurrency as a whole.

Sure, bitcoin might be able to exist even without government backing, but a total government take down can hurt the digital currency in serious ways and that is something we won't be happy about.

We cannot be too stubborn on the government issues against bitcoin. As a community believing in cryptocurrency, we will be better off without any rift with the governments.

I think bitcoin will never be stopped or be banned by the government. Even the other cryptocurrencies, it won't be banned also because this is just the beginning of cryptocurrencies and bitcoin in the future will be a legal currency. So there's no need to ban bitcoin.

Title: Re: Government trying to stop bitcoin, what I see

I don't think so, any attempts to control the bitcoin simply won't work because bitcoin is decentralized in nature. They can never ever kill it, there is no way. Bitcoin is not linked to any territory or financial institution, it is too complex for the government to destroy it.

The government provides easy monetary policy for the banking system. The banks then created a large leveraged asset boom, then emerged, destroying the virtual economy boom and accounting for much of the country's productivity with it. Using Bitcoin will fight inflation and greed.

Yea, eventually all governments that are using Fiat currencies, will fail and they will not be able to build the fence to stop people from using Bitcoin or some other Alt coin. Bitcoin was designed to be unstoppable and we are seeing several fruitless attempts by governments to stop it.

The adoption will grow, because of their failure and not just about the success of Bitcoin. The problem is most people does not recognize their own governments failures or they are to scared to challenge them.  ::)

Well since bitcoin is a decentralized commodity the government will never allow it total adoption, government as a regulatory and rule making entity will always option in to what the can control but bitcoin can not be regulated nor control by the government. So at that they will try all means to ban or kill bitcoin but with time they will know that they efforts will yield no result at all.

I agree with you, the government is afraid that bitcoin will master financial transactions where the government cannot intervene because the bitcoin system is peer to peer and anonymous. If the government cannot control the financial system in its country, there can be a financial monopoly that leads to control of state assets.

China is a developed country, in fact it is one of the greatest country in terms of the market so I don't think you need to belittle China.

I think the fact that Bitcoin countries are banned from their country may be because they fear that if Bitcoin becomes a form of payment as their currency, then their currency may be devalued. And they may not yet see the economic impact of their country if Bitcoin is allowed.

Government will not say that they don't accept Bitcoin at anytime but they need some more time to accept cryptocurrencies to the part of their economic my opinion is it will definitely happen soon and government will accept Bitcoin at one time.

Government can only try to stop cryptocurrency but they will not succeed at the end. There is no way to overcome a decentralized system. All they can do is create panic by sponsoring FUD through media. By the time bitcoin reaches mass adoption, nothing will be able to stop it.

The banking overlords hate BTC, so they are doing everything in their power to lock it all up. You cannot kill an idea, you cannot kill something that is decentralized.

Affected by the bleak economic future and high unemployment, young people are focusing on digital money despite the risks and warnings from the authorities. So the government will never be able to ban the Bitcoin, they can only make regulations for Bitcoin.

https://i.imgur.com/rFzTXc3.jpg

Create a door, but people do not need to go it. The rules for Crypto will be negatively affected but will not be able to control it. Everything is in incognito mode, and many people can fake personal information to pass KYC, which can not control Crypto by the basics.

The picture is hilarious, but it is the truth, governments are trying to stop cryptocurrencies but it's going to be impossible for them to do it because cryptocurrencies were created in such a way that they can resist such censorship, from the very beginning satoshi saw this and planned for it, and governments are very confused about what to do with them, if they forbid them then they are showing their hand and telling the people that they are not willing to accept competition in the realm of fiat.

But if they do not do it then people are going to keep adopting cryptocurrencies and the problem is going to become larger and larger, and if they try to regulate the market people are just going to ignore the regulations because they do not have to obey them because the government doesn't even know who they are.

How can we be so sure the government is against crypto? Maybe they’re just doing their jobs in ensuring that we stay protected and that order in society can be maintained. We can’t just expect them to give the green light right away. Be glad they’re using their minds and not saying “yes” right away because it’s expected of them. Who knows, maybe we could find harmony one day and that the government and these new technologies can co-exist?

The point is that the government can make any rules for cryptocurrency, but it won't be able to bind as a whole. seeing that crypto currency is decentralized and its users are anonymous, even though the government requires verification policies for users or prohibitions that won't affect anything, you can still use them easily with another door.

There are some countries that don't like the idea of allowing a decentralized cryptocurrencies because they are not yet prepared for it. These countries are mostly in the third world where their economy is not yet stable. Other kind of government that doesn't are socialist type like China and they instead support any coins that are created by them. But not all governments are against bitcoin because some of them have already legalized it.

The government may ban Bitcoin in their country, but they can not ban their people from participating in Bitcoin. In my country, the act of issuing, providing, using illegal means of payment (including Bitcoin and other similar virtual currency) is considered illegal and may be prosecuted. But let's look at how we stay active and more and more people know about Bitcoin. This world is growing by technology and Cryptocurrency is an example. ;)

from what I saw the government wanted to ban btc, but they still didn't understand what bcc was and how it worked, from what I saw they were just wary of money laundering in btc which was very easy and could be done in it, they judged it without looking at the side negative from btc itself because btc can be used as an investment instrument, even developing countries have started to do so, only a few countries still prohibit and enforce strict regulations on btc in their countries, in my own country there is no prohibition to trade, invest, or use btc as a medium of exchange in cyberspace, my country is all legitimate as long as it is not against the law

But have you ever considered the fact that what if government never ever let us do the mass adoption it? It is decentralised currency and it wont be interfered but have you considered that it can be masked with stringent rules and regulations of the government itself? What we will do at that time and how do you think that decentralisation power can come up with some good infrastructure to sever the peer to peer transactions. I understand one thing very well, if you ever want to stat a exchange, lets say peer to peer platform then surely you will need a company or organisation to be set out in the real world and guess what you need to be registered under government. These are the weak links which can be caught by government easily if they ever want you to shut down.

Hard to track and very easy to use worldwide.  But this never can stop bitcoin from growing cause the community still trust on bitcoin.

The government can easily implement a ban on bitcoin in its country, but if it is to stop bitcoin, the government will have difficulties due to decentralized bitcoin. Bitcoin has become a huge community and it will keep bitcoin alive even though so many of them fight bitcoin.

I still don't think the government will be able to stop bitcoin. It develops outside the state framework, and people use it, so it will be very difficult to ban it completely.

One major challenge that bitcoin has always experience is the regulatory challenge, and because of its decentralized nature, the government has been trying every means to put a stop to its usage. Even if there were to be a mass adoption by individuals, it still would not be able to frustrate the Government's effort, because in a country, the governments are still dictators on what happens.

Government did not start this recently but from the beginning government sectors are against bitcoin as most investors choose crypto currency but not the banking system as the profits are higher comparing to bankers low interest so it is expected sign for all the crypto users in the economy.

yes, I think when finally bitcoin has reached mass adoption. I don't think that will cause problems for the country itself. I think adoption can benefit the government, because the government can take taxes from a transaction. and I think if bitcoin has reached mass adoption, then the existence of banks will be increasingly disturbed, because in my opinion people would prefer to transact using cryptocurrency. because bitcoin is peer to peer and more efficient, unlike banks.

Difficult? It is close to impossible. Bitcoin is a decentralized cryptocurrency and it will stay decentralized since the government will never be able to control or take over it.

Also, the fact that some of the government are not noticing the improvement of Bitcoin through time since it is alive for some years now and thry are not making any movements about it. They are not stopping it because if they do, Bitcoin is long banned now in a lot of countries and not being legalized by them.

Most governments still haven't decide what they are going to do with bitcoin according to my understanding because if they have already we could see more actions but still majority has no idea how to deal with this new concept. Today when some governments ban and trying to restrict bitcoin few keep an open mind and allow there citizens to use bitcoin so there are both negative and positive and I think until bitcoin won't become a major threat to countries and there economical systems most of them will allow bitcoin to continue without any barriers

I believe the government would rather just tax crypto at this point instead of outright banning it. The crypto markets have created a lot of new wealth and it will help stimulate the economy.
yes you are right, but it is very difficult to convince the government to legalize crypto because they fear there will be a lot of fraud and crime. the government prefers fiat currency because it is made in the original state, real and legitimate as a means of payment and transactions every day.

I think they're doing something unnecessary but well what can we do? Maybe once bitcoin is being used universally, like cash, then they might change their decision and there will be no country that ban bitcoin again.

Although bitcoin is a decentralised currency but a government can control it trading, marketing in their own country and also put pressure other country to ban it. Many government ban bitcoin in their country because bitcoin affects their national bank profits and progress. And bitcoin also affects their national currency value at international market and these above thing ultimately affects their country economy. Another reason because of which many government try to stop it in their country is its volatile nature. This thing seriously affect their country share market price.

Maybe there are few countries that trying to BAN , but its only few of them . This year there is alot of good news from Regulations and SEC's . https://i.imgur.com/rFzTXc3.jpg

Bitcoin is designed to be censorship resistant, peer-to-peer payment system designed to remove the control by centralized institutions like banks . When bitcoin eventually achieve mass adoption, it will not really be much of an issue if some Governments place a ban on it within their countries.

Maybe you're right mass adoption's the main requirement, for bitcoin to be able to break the ban imposed by the government especially to get its legitimacy rights. Even so we must remember that bitcoin's not a substitute currency, cash will always be there its broad use's unmatched. Maybe bitcoin will be used as a parallel currency with fiat currencies. In this way, bitcoin users can take advantage of the advantages of each currency, depending on their needs.

If it does not disturb the economic stability and security of the country, I think it is inappropriate if the government tries to ban the use of bitcoin. We also have to understand some of the weaknesses of bitcoin that are vulnerable to criminal acts such as money laundering and so on, instead I see the government does not want to ban or stop bitcoin, but the government tries to protect bitcoin through government rules from every country so that bitcoin is safer and Bitcoin users get protection against their rights when they have bitcoin and when crime occurs such as bitcoin theft. If the government can cooperate in protecting the existence of bitcoin and protect the rights of every bitcoin owner, then bitcoin is perfect with the aim of creating prosperity and helping in the country's economic growth.

I can't give any type of the statement regarding the point of view of the governments in Thier own country except in my country .
Because as here I am living and active in daily hearing results and descion of the supreme court where the matter of cryptocurrency is going on .
But here a big thing that we can see that , government didn't said that they will ban bitcoin or cryptocurrency , the main problem is of the Reserve Bank of India , who don't want any bank works with the any type of cryptocurrency exchange and that why they restricted the banks to not to work with cryptocurrency exchange .
As we can understand that the point of the cryptocurrency lover is also strong , and also of the RBI , that why this case is going to expand day by day .
And I don't think any big restrictions will be apply over the cryptocurrency use , Because as a example we can see in China , where people can use cryptocurrency p2p instead to go with the any exchange that can give direct service of buy and sell with banks .
So I don't think that government will get any type of the success to make cryptocurrency ban in perfect way , they only can make rules and regulations and impose restrictions .

If you look at it in terms of the bitcoin function, I guess it's only reasonable for the government to decided ban bitcoin from being used in its country. Payment systems and anonymity are the first factors for them to decide to ban bitcoin. If many people use bitcoin as the first choice that is used as a payment system, certainly they will restless about the condition of their money fiat. Everyone will use bitcoin and their money will not work so as to cause some economic problems in their country popping up. So for those who decide banned bitcoin then that is one of the best ways they have to choose.

But I don't think bitcoin will stop in that way because as long as we have a connection to use bitcoin, then bitcoin cannot be controlled by anyone even the government, they can only watch and see how bitcoin transacted and they don't know who is the owner of the wallet. Despite of having numerous of advantages the major disadvantage of bitcoin is that it is still decentralised crypto currency and thus there is no such proper authentic regulating body over the bitcoin who could keep eye over all its activities and specifically the illegal one and thus use in selling drugs, explosives, money laundering and other illegal activities too and because of this thing most of the countries are in against of bitcoin as they does not want to bring any kind of illegal activities including terrorism in their nation but once they understand the potential of bitcoin, they will surely legalise it as this is the only way to stop illegal activities with bitcoin.

A government that tries to stop bitcoin is a negative thing that will emerge, everything feels stiff and limits the development of bitcoin and the global market.
How wise the government will legalize bitcoin, which certainly brings good luck. Every day development always increases and develops well, so don't let this government stop bitcoin.
bitcoin in every country only threatens the banking system instead of threatening the country itself, all banks are disturbed by the emergence of bitcoin as a more sophisticated transaction system than banks in general, one reason for sure they lost many bank customers, bitcoin users only use banks as streams funds for disbursement into fiat money that will be used directly not to save in the bank, sorry that is only my opinion

It is possible that the government gets a warning from the bank regarding the existence of bitcoin, that they know bitcoin will tackle the development of banks around the world, so there is a possibility their reasons are disturbed by the current existence of bitcoin, and one of them that can stop is the government in each country, but they don't know that there are so many supporters of bitcoin around the world, and even bitcoin will turn this world into a world of technology ...

Basically governments want to know as much as possible about cash flow ' to keep us safe. They will use this panic tactic to push legislation that pushes BTC underground. It's hard to see how a BTC-type product ever becomes a mainstream, especially given how unattractive it is as a method of transaction (expensive and slow)

They need to do that in order to have some control, it's how governments rule, they control people, they control opposition. This picture in opening comment is great example what can governments do about crypto, almost nothing. They are thinking how to control all this but I believe they can't so much at the moment. With crypto it's all about what you do and how you do, if you wish to stay hidden and anonymous you can do that, you can stay free, but if you register your wallet address and you do couple kyc's than you will need to pay taxes.
Governments can't stop crypto, some countries already joined, others should follow their example.

Indeed government regulations are very difficult in the opponent so that when they begin to ban the existence of bitcoin, it is likely that people are afraid to invest and directly sell assets as soon as possible before all is lost.

Bitcoin is designed to be censorship resistant, peer-to-peer payment system designed to remove the control by centralized institutions like banks . When bitcoin eventually achieve mass adoption, it will not really be much of an issue if some Governments place a ban on it within their countries.

Cryptominers and deep web divers would laugh at the fact that a weak government would try to block out bitcoins from the blockchain and they're planning to bring down blockchain like there is a way. I don't think there will ever be a future where the government wins.

No government can stop it. Many states are already accepting bitcoin or are starting to do it. The absence of a law will worsen the situation. The governments of the countries then do not recognize any information about transactions at all.

With the recent slump of bitcoin's market cap and price, different negative thoughts will come in to our minds like government trying to take down bitcoin for good. But let's not forget that it's not the government that controls bitcoin and crypto. It's the people (their demands) are the one that's making the existence of bitcoin looks so untouchable and immortal.

If even goverments want to stop Bitcoin, then they get it badly. States recognize Bitcoin and this is of great importance. I think in the future goverments will use Bitcoin.

It's a nice idea but governments can never fully utilize cryptocurrency the way they want too and the reason is because it is decentralized, which is a bad word to government officials. They want to control...And, crypto cannot be controlled. This is why there is so much resistance from world governments concerning crypto.

In our day now, it is undeniable that any government wants to block or refuse to enter the bitcoin in their jurisdiction. One of these things is that they do not have the ability to handle or control what they want. Because Bitcoin as we all know it is a peer to peer currency that is a decentralization system that is why they do not like it and they don't get any benefits from it. But they know that it really can greatly help the economy of every country to receive it.

I'm not sure if the government wants to stop Bitcoin. Just the appearance of bitoin definitely makes adjustments to the country's economy, since transactions are not tracked and there is no tax charge. And so I think specifically the government does not do this.

Everything has a reason to do or don't so similar apply for the government too. No matter, from which country's government. Do you actually know the revenue of government for the causes that are nontransparent? If they get the tax from its users where the money goes and how much they spend and where is the remaining! Bitcoin is transparent everything on the blockchain. It may be a problem for the government, but is good for the good governance. The ratio of good vs bad is very unstable. The next generation world will have better technology, you might say that it should start from now....

What I know is that only few governments are against bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies and most of them wants to allow it only after they impose regulation on crypto exchanges. Those coutntries that banned the bitcoin are either not yet prepared to deal with it or have their own national cryptocurrency in the making. Tax will be inevitable if the government in some countries decides to legalize bitcoin.

P.S. Let's also not generalize not everyone in the government is the same. maybe some has stone hearts but I believe that there are still people in the government who has a golden hearts.

We must not  allow politicians or governments to interfere in the world of crypto. Governments always wants to have control over everything that is happening in their respective countries. I believe most people don't understand how crypto currencies work. The authorities are  really sacred about crypto but they wish they could do something about how decentralized blockchain technology is.

Exactly. You are seeing it right. The government and central banks are already after bitcoin from a long time ago, but it's hard for them to control it. If they puts a ban on bitcoin it may be illegal but it can't be stopped totally. Though illegal transaction like money laundering has already increased and government has a big point of this to put a ban. But they should know that everything has a positive along with a negative effect. Banks have many negative sides also, but they are making profits that's the reason it's legal to them, and bitcoin is decreasing their profits :D . But bitcoin can't be stopped.

They also think that they could not control BTC transaction correctly and as a result they will fail to caught who using it incorrectly. Bitcoin is dangerous because it is difficult to control, although at the heart of the cryptographic world lies a certain goal: the ability of the cryptocurrency to reform the financial system, increasing transparency and eliminating the urgent need for trust in counterparties. When there is no reason to doubt, there is no chance of becoming a victim of deception or fraud.Cryptocurrency takes power from centralized systems and transfers it into the hands of legitimate owners — ordinary people. That is why the state will always be against cryptocurrency, because if you can not control the money, you can not control people.

There were some countries prohibited the use of bitcoin, but they couldn't stop their people of investing with it through discreet transactions. For me they couldn't stop this activity unless it became a legal currency to regulated. The decentralized character remains untouchable and has its own freedom to roams around blockchain technology network and provide profitable needs towards the people around it.

This country also develop own exchange and involve on other currencies. It is easier to transfer everywhere and even can invest for the good profit.
