First of all, asking about price or "worth buying" is better suited for Speculation area, maybe you'll move the thread there. (Also, as others said, you should be also searching for answers.)
Second, asking for investment advises from unknown people over internet is not the best think you can do. Use your own diligence when investing.
This being said, my personal opinion is that Bitcoin is a pretty good buy nowadays. The price is not so far from what many consider to have been the bottom for 2018 and many say that the price should rise this winter.
Also the math/logic tells that since Bitcoin is a deflationary coin (coin with limited supply and ever increasing demand), its price has to grow again, sooner or later.

Now that bitcoin price is down it is the right time to buy bitcoin and others cryptocurrencies.  Bitcoin will do well in some years to come and holding them from now till then should be the best investment decisions to make.  Many of us that buy bitcoin when it was low last year and sell high really make money last year.

By remembering the potential of bitcoin as the best coin, and if you have excess money and want investment, it will be a decent decision if you want to buy bitcoin.

Now is a good time to buy bitcoin, yes. The last ATH was near $20,000, we are now at $6,5xx so there’s infinite room to manoeuvre upwards. If you have patience and are willing to in est & sit on those bitcoin’s for a few years then now is most definitely a good time to buy. We’ll see north of $100,000 per bitcoin at some point in the next 10 years (if not 5).

You should be thinking longer term investment. Short term I think Bitcoin may still have a leg down - though quarter 4 usually tends to be quite positive. But overall looking at the bigger picture I definitely think BTC is at a great price.

For me yes, you should buy bitcoin because of its low price. Because when its low price and when the price rises the higher the profit you earn if you buy a bitcoin. You just have to start at low than the high price.

Heres my rough view of price, I highlighted in Purple the up and down trend and my reason for thinking we have come to a head of decision between forces bidding up or selling off the price.   

If I would seek for better opportunity, I would be preferring to buy coins at cheaper value right now and I wouldn't mind those negative feedbacks about the market. Bearish will always be bearish and we can't do something about it, because it all depends on how the demand increase so far. When there's a better opportunity, we should grab it and don't let it go for nothing.

I agree, we can't really do anything about the trend. If its bullish then be flexible, make the necessary adjustments same goes in bullish market. That's why we really need to go with the flow and not complain about it. It's what separates a good and smart investors from people who are here just to get a quick money.

Personally, I don't think the price will go below 6k again.  This bear market won't last as long as the last one did, this time is different and crypto is more widely adopted now.  I do think btc will at least be at 14k+ by the end of this year.

I would not encourage myself to think that the price of bitcoin is very small at the moment. Open the monthly chart of Bitcoin and you will understand that it can easily fall further up to $ 100.

Indeed, more people expects easy money that's why the market doesn't behave so well compared with last year's legacy. Many were turned out disappointed with falling price in the market after sudden pumps but as you said here we just go with the flow. If I know what will happen after all then maybe I sell my asset last year, but bitcoin really is unpredictable; nobody could really predict the exact results after your decisions became final.

Right now is second best time after 5 years ago. That is a saying about trees, right now is the second best time to plant trees, first is 20 years ago. If you can buy right now at the dip when the price has been lowest for the past 10 months you would definitely make great returns when the bull hits but even if the bull doesn't come for a long time I am sure you will not be disappointing with small gains or at least not lose money at all with no drops because its the dip.

It can't get any worse than this, you can tie your money here and make no profits or make profits but can't lose. Considering savings account doesn't give proper returns there is no bad sign of buying right now.

Which do you refer to as the last one ? Have we really come out from a bear market since this year? The last time price got to $8,000 , it didn't stay that way for more than three days before going back to $5,000. So, I have not read users referring to bull market because we have always been in bear for now, maybe this month upwards will be different.

Price is 3 times lower then was in December. I dont believe there is any chances it will even be 3 times lover as it is now. All 2018 and most of 2019 will be perfect time to buy Bitcoin.

For those that has long term view bitcoin worth investing now as the market is going to recover in future.  What is happening to cryptocurrencies market now has happened in other assets before and most times it do takes years to recover.

If you analyse the price history of bitcoin, you would find the last highest price reached  $20k in december 2017 and current price $6.5k.

Peole were asking the same question when the price was at $300 $1,000 $5,000 and so on. But it doesn't matter if you are a real user. You get or buy bitcoin and use it, the value is not important because what you buy has its price adjusted.

It is really a very great opportunity which I believe no one should ever miss. Nevertheless, we can end up seeing the market go lower, as there is no doubt about that, but at the same time, the thing with the market currently is that we have really gone down hugely at the moment, and when you are comparing the price with the previous ATH, anyone buying now will know it is a very good buy and with that, you cannot regret it later on.

It is really a good time to buy as far as I am concerned, we really cannot tell how the market would go in direction from here based on breakout from the descending triangle, but at least, we have seen the way the $6k region has been holding up this year and it seems the demand here is pretty strong at least for now.

Unfortunately, it is not everyone that will even understand what they should be looking out for when it comes to a break out since they have no trading knowledge. I totally agree with you that right now, most traders will definitely be sitting on the side line and waiting to see the direction that bitcoin eventually takes. Personally, I have bought in some at $6100 with some stop loss below $5700 on my trade, and then looking to buy in more whichever way the market turns out.

However if you are asking if you have $100k in your stocks account and you want to take out $20k of that and put it on bitcoin, well yeah that is a great idea. Lucky for those who were able to take profit during that time and it is a good time for arbitrage because some exchanges has lower prices compared to those big ones. Bitcoin is the pioneer crypto and I can say that bitcoin is the mother of cryptocurrencies. I think is a good option to buy bitcoin and hold for medium-long term (6months-2 year). I do trade and i get more bitcoin, and also i buy once a month and hold. I think bitcoin is now underevaluated, and it should reach at least 10,000$ maybe in December 2018 or in January 2019. Only invest money that afford to lose.

Bitcoin cash is one of the coins that is crashing the hardest, I really do not know how the coin that was forked is behaving because I really do not follow bitcoin cash that much but the chances that is going to overtake bitcoin are incredibly low, this is a good time to buy bitcoin or to hold it but not to sell it unless you love to lose money because that is what it's going to happen if you sell.

The trend right now is overwhelmingly negative. So it won't be foolish to wait for a few more months. IMO, the prices can go down all the way to $3,000 per coin. That said, even the current valuation looks attractive.

I.think it's good time for buying. Price is relatively low, maybe even goes down a bit. On the other hand don't buy if you expect some huge profit in the near future because some bigger price rise will not happen so soon.
This is the period, and the next few months will probably will be the same, when the fluctuations in price will be relatively small and you will be able to earn something but this will not be big profit.
If you want to stay for longer period involved with Bitcoin, then buy. For short term investment, don't.

It's just the influence of the market on how Bitcoin really drop and i believe it is due to most people are pulling out some of their Bitcoin in order to switch to Bitcoin Cash. And it does create a wide panic in the market that tends to panic selling most of their BTC that they were holding.

But i don't believe BCH would just take over the top rank of BTC in such manners, the new guy(altcoin) wouldn't fit in to the community.
