What do you think? Bitcoin will grow like last year until it reaches about $ 20,000? Or fall below $ 10,000?

Well to be true, no one actually knows. It still depends on the markets stability and the demand of it well hopefully just like last year the bitcoin price will go bullish again but you should consider that the price of bitcoin today is a great opportunity to enter the market and a good entry point to invest right? specially to Ethereum.

I totally agree with joeperry, it all depends on the market stability, and no one knows for sure whether it will hit the $20,000 mark or stay below $10,000 like what we see now. However, given the current statistics, I do think that price will reach $10,000 mark before the year ends. Once, again it all depends on the demand for the coin.

The answer to this is simple,the market is unpredictable,so no one actually knows what's going to happen....

Factors that trigger a rise in the market is currently nowhere to be found,so till those factors are present the market will remain bearish..

Actually it is totally unpredictable to all. But if the price reach  $ 20,000 like last year, there will be more investors in bitcoin.Then there will be  chance to grow more bitcoin price.

are you copying this from somewhere or don't you know the current price is $6k+?

in any case to answer your question, eventually price will rise up and reach $20k and above like what we had last year and eventually we will end up with a new ATH and a new bubble at a much higher price like $70k.

We do not know if it is the critical stage or just a preparatory for bitcoin and the bull will be seen. It is hard to predict what will going to happen to the market. Lets just all hope that just like before, the bitcoin's value will rise more that what we are expecting so that more people will be encourage to use it.

We are under $10,000 so we literally fell under that.

When do you expect bitcoin to grow like last year? by the end of this year? it seems that we aren't going to see that for awhile and don't expect it for this year. There's a long way to go before it even reached $10,000 back so that's what we must aim first before proceeding to the next level.

Can not predict this. I think the end of the year the price will rise. At the moment I see prices drop sharply and last year's price was $ 20,000 it will not be achieved this year. We expect the market to be green in the next few days and have a strong uptrend.

No one can predict it when  bitcoin price rise. But I  agree with you last year in this time bitcoin price huge rise and it reach 20k. But beginning this year bitcoin price down even every month btc price down day by day. I  think end of this year bitcoin price not rise it can reach 9k

Probably, we can't predict the ups and downs of bitcoin but we hope it may reach on that amount.

Bitcoin rising to price tag of $20k with present signs in market is definitely not possible. Thought market is unpredictable, the price will all depend on the demand and with present scenario what I think is market accepts the 7k below price for a btc. So atmost it will be go close to 10k this year.

I would certainly like it to immediately rise to $ 20k, but it seems to me that growth will come along with a correction. It’s not easy for us to make money on it. and growth will be in 2019 but not in 2018 already

the 2013 spike occurred due to a massive jump in mining costs due to the swap from GPU to ASIC
this caused alot of hobbyists who could not afford to buy the gear to calculate its cheaper to just buy coin instead of mine it. so they did

the 2017 spike occurred due to a a certain group of paid devs and merchants having a VC contract to implement a certain feature by november 2017.. they achieved that goal so the VC's had to buy up a load of coin as that was the desired payment method to the dev team

there is no big event to cause a massive buy up. and buy ups dont just happen because they happened previously (the facepalm of trend anals)

as for things like ETF. the companies that have already applied for ETF's have already bought up their reserves. as for any new applications upcoming. most are waiting for first success, so that they can then clone the first success to save time and money of not having to do trial and error attempts. so they are waiting.
along with the main VC funds coming from usa and countries with end of december financial year end deadline. are happy to declare a loss for 2018 to get a tax deduction. and start at instant profit for 2019. so all signs are to not expect much from "whales" before 2019.
however piranha (small fish that bite) could bite their way up the price. but thats going to be a slower process

Better days will always follow. Everyone is hoping for these. Especially to those who bought their bitcoin in very high price and just decline in value. But we cant be sure with these, as to history recount, most of the time bitcoin bounce back for another 4 to 5 years? I am not saying i am positive in this, but i also want a bounce back this end of the year or atleast in the start of 2019. We just have to wait for the future of bitcoin, its the only way we can do as for now.

Might $ 10,000 is the highest price at the end of this year. Within 2 months I guess it will only be able to reach less than $10,000, but if the pump continues, then in January 2019 the price of bitcoin will continue to rise beyond $10,000. I don't know what we are going to expect for the price of bitcoin recover. Is only ETF what we are expect or another information that can make the price of bitcoin recover and replace ATH last year.

Seeing the current trend, i dont think that market will move to another ATH, it will be a big surprise if the market crosses $10000 price before the end of this year 2018. So this year their is no price rising expectations only in 2019 we have to see whether it goes up or goes down.

Hey no one really knows this answer for sure, and if someone tells you he knows it he's lying. One can only draw conclusions from past situations, like for example once the bitcoins futures were announced bitcoins prices rallied to 20k, similarly if bitcoins etf are approved on Nov 5th we can see 20k levels. Also if it's rejected markets may tank a bit, but it should immediately recover though.

Every last quarter of the year the market will rally and this has been so for the last three years. This year looks so different because the market has been bearish most part of the year. I am thinking bitcoin will move up in price but might not reach $20K like last year and I must accept that it is difficult to predict what will happen because even the centralized markets out there are also going down. It seems to be the market sentiments that is indicating the bears are leading.

No one can tell accurately if it's going to duplicate its success, this is the only year in Bitcoin's 9 year existence that the price did not go up better than the previous year, but it's still profitable to invest in Bitcoin, because Bitcoin is still making a lot of news world wide.

probably $10,000 is enough to reach for this year because it's very late now to reach the current all time high value , which is probably 2019 will be the right time again to make a bull run not on this year. So for now let's gain quick profits and stop assuming it will rocketed on this year end because it's impossible to happen must accept the fact and build new strategy. 

The price of bitcoin is already below 10000 and its unlikely that is going to go any lower than it is right now, however if you are really expecting a repetition of what happened in the last year then you're going to get disappointed, history never repeats itself, if you wanted to get benefits like those you could have gotten in the last year you needed to have the guts to invest in bitcoin before it skyrocketed.

Let's talk about facts and realities that are happening now, the price of bitcoin is still traded on $6000- $6500 in the past few months, and also many people said that bitcoin price will be stable. To reach the price of $20,000, we need strong information so as cryptocurrency market can recover quickly, so far we have not found the information. Someone is right, there is no one will know it will happen or will not happen. However, the increase in bitcoin prices always requires a process, not easy as you think. As we evaluate the current flow of market, I may say that not this time but it could be possible by next year. Crypto market isn't breaking up the tie from being in dip and yet still enough time for its recovery. So as we are nearly ended up this year, it could be impossible for Bitcoin to achieve huge increase as it does last year.

In the last 3 years the prices of bitcoin and cryptocurrencies have always increased significantly at the end of the year, and I am sure that this trend will be repeated this year so I will hold and buy more.

I don't think so, because it is already October but as what we can see, bitcoin price is still stable at around $6000, unlike last year, it is $7k before it gets high and it runs too fast that we can't control how much bitcoin will grow more.

I personally still believe that someday bitcoin will increase higher than last year. I don't know when it will happen because I can't predict it, at least we have great expectations and remain patient to achieve these expectations come true. The expectation is kept increasing which we cannot able to guess whether the price of Bitcoin will reach to high value and it will remain the same as the current value. Due to the market situation, we can not able to predict them exactly whether Bitcoin price will increase or not.

Bitcoin this year isn't as good as last year, the market is in poor condition and it's too difficult to make a price jump, and it looks like bitcoin prices at the end of the year are still under $ 10,000.

I feel that in the beginning of November or December we will again see the pump. This is due to the fact that people cannot be in a negative state for a long time and if they receive the slightest hint of a market reversal, then a massive purchase of tokens will begin.

The ether is in very bad condition. If markets in general do not move, it means a very bad year.

Don't really hope on something that isn't 100% accurate, But we can not really tell maybe the whales will sure want a much bigger price for the end on the year so they will purchase much and will make a collaboration in making a good source for a positive news, But I guess a reversal in the bearish market is very unlikely to happen it is almost possible to see the needle on s haystack than to seek a pump these November or December months.

But i also don't expect a price increase like last year. Prices move much slower this year. The price will reach 20k, but I have no idea about the time.

I think it will not happen to reach a price like last year because till now we facing the ear market and no one can predict when bitcoin will be move up. Some analyst said that bitcoin will hit 10k price before year ends but we don't have any assurance for that so let's see what will be happen.

This is a surprise increase  of bitcoin when it happens unexpectedly. About the exact time this year it cannot be predicted, since many people said their predictions but it went out a failure of expectations. In my opinion it will remain below $10000. The reason is low demand and low market cap. Most of the investors are interested in Altcoin more than bitcoin because they think that some Altcoin possess more potential than bitcoin and they can earn huge profits from that Altcoin. I think bitcoin still has a chance to grow but it won't be as good as last year. The price of 20k seems difficult to achieve but for a price of 10k it is still possible to achieve.

The most likely reason of why we are not going to see a bull market by the end of this year is that everyone is expecting it, if you think about it you will realize that almost no one was expecting to see the bull market that we saw at the end of the previous year, that is why it happened, but now that everyone is holding their coins thinking it is going to happen again the market is not going to give to them the profits they are looking for.

There is no strong reason why will someone think Bitcoin market value will return back to where it was  ( height) late last year before end of December this year. We may not even see return back to  $10,000 before end of December this year if things should continue the way is going.

 The positive motivation will help to see a good vision and encouragment for the accuracy of speculation, depend on how we acknowledge on bitcoin development. But it seems that bitcoin will contour and surpass this risky scenario and grow up immensely by the end of this year, maybe it won't reach the desirable peak, but atleast it's price will start pumping up consistently and grow profitably.

I think bitcoin will pump up massively because I believe it has a strong capability to deal this kind 0pof matter. Even if its price doesn't show any sign of growing, still the huge possibility will take over. Positive motivation, optimism or whatever you want to call it is something that will not tell us how the market would tend towards than the market movement itself. Will bitcoin go up like last year ? Maybe and maybe not, but whichever way, I believe bitcoin has given us a good chance to be buying lower now, which is something I expect everyone to at least be taking advantage of at this point in time.

Some persons seem to convinced that if they believe something with all their might that something is going to happen, so there are many people that are expecting a huge recovery and think we will see something similar to what we saw in the last year without understanding that what we saw last year was something that is not going to repeat itself until many years have passed.

Everybody want that the price of bitcoin cross the previous highest price which was about $20000, but I think that it will not happen atleast December this year because in the previous year the demand was very high and people bought bitcoin in greed of making more profit in this year. But the situation was different from their expectations and they lost their investments.

It will go up but not like last year and you should expect the bull run to commence next year as this year remain bearish.  I believe that the future is still very bright and we have to be a little bit patience with the market. Without patience it is very difficult to make money from cryptocurrencies market as many of the current market conditions will keep on repeating itself.

The worst that would ever happen is that we breakdown lower and that gives us a chance to buy lower which makes it good for some category of people, or at least we get to see a breakout upward and a new trend. Time will tell!

We have all talked about how the price probably will not go up like last year and we have talked about how not every year the price does the same thing (including me I accept) however the truth is there is also absolutely no reason why it shouldn't do the same thing as well. Now we know "bitcoin doesn't have to go up in price every December, it hasn't increased in price every December since its creation" this is we get it down and all of us said the same thing.

However can you really wager money on the fact that it WON'T? No we can't say that neither, there is also a chance of doing a great skyrocketing in price as well, there is as much chance of bitcoin going up during December as going down. Where is the volume of demand like last year? Are people interested in bitcoin as they were in the last year? If no then it is not possible that the price will go up like the previous year. We know that the price depends on the investment cap and if there is low or no demand in the market the investment cap will never increase and due to this the price would also not increase.

We can not really say as this market has its own mind and we just need to follow the directions it go to in other to be able to make profits from it.  Bitcoin, from January 2017 show signs of bull run and I think that is what makes it to be able to make such moves it makes last year but this year was a different boil game.  From January till now bitcoin has not make any significant upwards movement reither we keep seeing dumping and strong bearish market.  I believe that we are at the time when bitcoin is about to make little bullish run and we are going to have another bullish trend but to go as high as $10,000 or $20,000 is what I think might not happen.

Right now we are under 10,000$ , but i think it will grow but i not have expectation to reach 20,000$. I think will reach over 10,000$-11,000$ and this will be the price before of the end of this year. Until then i will get more coins and i will hold, and trade other altcoins to get more before grow.

Yeah you are right anything is possible in crypto market and the price of bitcoin is not predictable. Some people say that it will reach to $20000 till December this year and some say that it will crash. Now ordinary investors do not know what to do. What will happen next? It is very difficult decision to make but I want to tell that we should be patient and wait for good days to come.

Bitcoin price today seems stabilize and it moving slowly but surely, the price today may be the start of bitcoin stability rather than abruptly up and down or its volatility,  I would prefer price that quite stables and move slowly but surely.

If bitcoin's price can resist in this point until the end of 2018 it will be good for bitcoin and other cryptocurrency. need for 2-3 years for bitcoin to reach its all time high price again like what it did last year. we cannot predict the value Bitcoin go by the price like last year because crypto market is not standard and there are lot of things happening in the market so there is ups and downs and that too bitcoin price in last year before was 20K but this year under 7k. so we cannot expect it will again go back to 20k but  i hope it can reach around 10K.

I think it impossible in this end year 2018. If can it will increase the high price in the year 2019. Because of this year so many bad news. What it in next time?. Nobody knows about it. But it's my sense. Price Bitcoin will grow up again in 2019. Good to all!

No one knows it yet because we are at the speculating stage while waiting for the good news to come out it seems that it doesn't affect that much in the market. If there's bull run this year or not we might wait for it on to next year and we still have few more months left before the end of the year.

There is no enthusiasm from people at least a lot less compared to the previous year, so I don't think we will see the same insane increase as we got. But I will be happy if that happens of course

Its good to be not in panic, and that's not a problem to wait for those years projected. What I am worried here was those people who seem to expect great with bitcoin and with last year's term against upward trend nobody expects that to happen. So we really don't know when its going to happen, but always stay positive we'll start it over again seeing the price at very high profitable price.

this kind of dip remind us the dip happened before, meaning the recovery takes a lot of time to rise again just like 2017 ATH, patience is a must. meaning dont just look at the drops and falls of bitcoin everyday, weeks and month. but look for the future profits that bitcoin will rise again just like last year (2017)

I think bitcoin is going to go up like last year as the bakkt is introducing another future trade again. I think future trade is one of the reasons why bitcoin get pump in December last year and bakkt on 12 of December is going to louch another one again. It therefore means, we should expect another bull run from next month as the doors is seeing wide open for new investors to come into cryptocurrencies market.

We are under $10k for how many months now and I don't expect to hit $20k in the last 2months because that is nearly impossible. So going back to atleast $10k before the end of this year will be enough for me but if not, atleast we don't go lower where we are right now.

I do not expect to reach that high but I hope that it will increase  and double what the price it has today. Price sometimes stable and suddenly down bit o believe on the potential of the coin. No matter how long I hold, I will wait for it. We better be prepare on what is going to happen but it won't the end.

Last year's market was able to quickly land on the moon and ICO has a close relationship, but this year there is no project that can attract huge purchasing power, isn't it?

I prefer a price stability because in my opinion, price stability will be far more important than anything else. When Bitcoin has price stability, Bitcoin will always get positive sentiment. Positive sentiment is a major step in increasing Bitcoin's popularity. With more and more Bitcoin used, it will increase the price of Bitcoin. So what we really have to do is maintain the stability of Bitcoin, give confidence to Bitcoin and we will get the benefits in the future !!!

We don't know that yet, from what I know Bitcoin price rally don't really have any limits and last year we really don't have that much good news to start off with a big price rally. What had happened back there is a lot of market participation happened which had more than doubled and triggered the biggest FOMO we have in Bitcoin's history. Now with a lot of people staying in our market participation we really don't know what will be its max growth (or if it will really reach that level) all we can do now is watch and ride the movement.

Well maybe yes or not, the current condition of the market is really unpredictable even from the start. Even price has not shows any good response to increase good for us to be positive about bitcoin price. Let’s hope their is good response before year ends.

I can sense bitcoin will not go up just like last year. We can see the price was really struggling until this time but we already know bitcoin value were unstable.

Bitcoin never fails to amaze us with its unforeseeable scenarios. Today it may seem on its downward side but tomorrow it may be at the peak of a ladder. This just shows that nobody knows exactly what may happen to the most valuable cryptocurrency. As we know, its the market forces and the adaptability that leads to the ranking scenarios. And for bitcoin to stay at the top, it means that crypto enthusiasts were still confident on this coin. And i support their optimism to the highest level following the statement of Tom Lee, head of research at Fundstrat Global Advisors that bitcoin "could end the year explosively higher", targeting a year-end price as high as $25,000. Whew, isn't this something to look forward to? Although i am most excited to see this happen, i will be most happy if bitcoin go up to $15,000 before the year ends.

The answer is maybe, maybe not or maybe yes. We don't know yet since the market is unpredictable no one can answer as regarding this thing when the time of raising up. Think positive that Bitcoin will raise up with this last month of the year that probably we expect that Bitcoin raising up. So let's hope at that moment and help the market also through holding our coin into our wallet and don't do the panic selling.

It will grow eventually but we don't know yet when would that happen as we are all just speculating what would happen to the price and no one can exactly predict what would happen in the future.

I believe that it would have a new all time high in the coming months or years. Market is consolidating and we are just getting ready for the next run. I hope I have more coins when that happens.

There is no guarantee whether it will cross the value of previous high value, it will cross the price value when the market starts recovering. For more than a year still, the price of Bitcoin is struggling at the current price which is strong at 6300$. Once the market starts recovering we can easily see the price starts increasing again.

As much as I would not want to sound pessimistic, I would say people should not be so keen about waiting for the same experience like we had last year to this year. Sure, we might see some good movement upward as the case may be and the possibility of going back to test the previous ATH if we are lucky, but that is all I would expect the most and not just some bull run as some people are anticipating.

As it is now, all we just have to do is to be at least patient and wait for the moment to come, which hopefully, we will get to experience another good uptrend, but for now, we just have to chill.

Actually no one is behind bitcoin and block chain technology people are leaving it just because its falling. I don't have any idea but the suggest which i can gives you is that wait and give some times to bitcoin and the market.

Expectation is to experience a price increase as the previous year, and no one is clear about the reality happening with the market. Till date only the positive hope keeps the people active and expect good things to happen at least by the end of the year or by the starting of the upcoming year. Price increase is promising, but we need the patience to experiment the goodness.

All is about how we speculate and how we will react to certain events, people who still believing with this system still hoping that the increase in value will happen again, though we are still not seeing any good sign of that last bull run and the year is almost in last quarter but those optimistic investors are still holding and waiting for next rise up, if you want to achieve your goal you need to add move patience and keep holding things will be green again just

Expecting the price to go up like last year can be so tough, but still we should accept the fact that it's so hard to do it without the people behind us who choose to hold their assets to meet those expectations.

This is not even about being positive or being negative, it is just what it is. No one knows what would be of bitcoin in terms of value any minute but the only thing we can do is to be hopeful in most cases.

That's 50% chance to go like last year or 50% chance to go on the other way. Bitcoin has literally stuck on the 6,000$ mark and until now, there's still no sign of price hike for bitcoin. For me, i really doubt that bitcoin can still rise again like last year.

I would not even expect it to go pretty huge and the thing we may just be lucky to see probably could be another test of the ATH and we will even be very lucky to get to see that. Bitcoin value at this moment is pretty much unstable as there is no doubt about that, but at the same time, we are still in a moment of indecision for the market, with all we can do now is to be patient but one thing I have always realized is that bitcoin has never ceased to amaze at surprising at times, so in this case, I still just stick with the idea of remaining patient to see what eventually happens before the end of the year.

Yes, bitcoin will rise like last year $20k or even higher, but it won't happen anytime soon. After a major correction this year, I'm not even sure bitcoin can increase next year despite a lot of speculation some say there will be an increase in 2019. The current state of bitcoin is still said to be in a good situation and seems to need something that can make bitcoin prices rise again , but until now I haven't heard the issue that will push bitcoin prices to soar again.

Bitcoin prices can return to price recovery when there is good news from several media and several countries, when there is good news that large countries like China and others have started accepting bitcoin payments again, the price of bitcoin can be very expensive at the end of this year.

I don't see any hope that Bitcoin going to reach 10k this year, the market is still gloomy and the investors are hesitate because of the whales heavy manipulation,it will be great if the price could survive over 6k, Bitcoin long bear trend has been make a lot of investors frustrated

The market this year is generally bearish for the past ten months and the growth of the bitcoin continues to be slow so 2018 will be completely different from last year which is mostly bullish. The price of the bitcoin might not even go higher than $10k unless some big investors decide to pump it. The top coin may continue to accumulate until early next year before going up again.

I guess that is very unlikely to happen again this year because until now, the cryptoworld is still in the bearish trend. If i am not wrong, this year could be the longest drought for bull run as the bearish trend continues to swing.

If the ETF is approved, then the price will rise a lot. Otherwise, it will rise slowly and in side ways.
