Title: Lordmancer II - an MMORPG where you can earn crypto
Post by: Lordmancer on October 15, 2018, 07:08:32 PM
Lordmancer II is a free to play MMORPG on mobile where you can earn crypto while playing.

The idea is the following. You can farm and loot in-game resources and items and you can trade in an open market. You can use soft, hard, or cryptocurrency for trading.

So, if you are lucky enough or more effective comparing to other players, you can even earn from the game.

You can download the game on Google Play https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=ru.mobak.lordmancer2

Or join iOS open beta test https://testflight.apple.com/join/wWleJtDL

The official site is https://lordmancer2.io

I am a MMORPG fan too but never know how this thing works, especially on mobile version

And from milewilda explanation, how is this thing can be converted to btc and how to make the withdrawal to our address from the game? If you have time to give explanation, I will appriciate it because many people are would like to get this explanation. And how much is the exact amount can we get by playing this game? I am sure there is a limit of your bankroll

Hey! Thanks for the questions, I'm happy to answer them.

Basically, we as a developer don't pay Lord Coins to players. But other players can do that.

If you have a unique item and sell it on the game market, you will be paid in Lord Coins. Then you need to go to the site https://market.lordmancer2.com and withdraw Lord Coins to an any Ethereum wallet. We don't have any limits. It depends only on prices on the market.

Finally, you get to an Exchange and sell Lord Coins for Ether or Bitcoin.

Interesting.. I'm also a gamer that dealts with different genre's of games and MMORPG is one of my pick.

Did anyone tried it out? I watched the trailer and it gave me a chill, looks like a trailer of Dota 2.

Actually, the trailer is quite out of date. We are working on a new one. The game has been improved a lot since the date when the trailer was created.

While I'm watching and hearing the theme music of the trailer Dota 2 did really came to my mind and even the surface and environment of the game.

I find it interesting but I don't want to try it myself unless someone would give it a try and review first.

So basically all of the items has no exact price? How much that we sold is depends on the market as well whether people want to buy it or not and it might be high or low too right?

Btw how much is the conversion on each Lordcoin? Depends on the exchange market as well?

And about the withdrawal process, how much does it takes from the game to the exchange? And how much fee does it takes? Is it like every normal games as well? Sorry for having so many questions

This game looks interesting but the lord coin still not listed on CMC and no exchange site that supports Lord coin.
How we can know how much will be the price of lordcoin?

I hope that developers will add this coin to the market so that we can check it on CMC if the price is getting low or high.

How many players are actively playing this game?
I'm asking because the liquidity on the game item market depends of the amount of players.
It would be quite annoying to wait for a few weeks, every time you want to sell something on the market. ;D

If you try to look into Google play, you will see there are 10k installs with having 1300+ reviews which it isn't really bad number.
Liquidity would really vary on the demand of the token.I'll check out the game if i do have the vacant time and see it for myself.

I moved to pc to try creating again, it success but when I try to connect my vk again to the game, it said that I do not have any account on vk and ask me to create again

Anyone have similar problem? And btw I cant get to the market as well because I cant have my vk account, is this game must use vpn to play since there is another languange that most of them used on vk

Which of them is a safe exchange to use? It looks like, only EtherDelta exchange that I recognized.

Do we have a chance to request? I'd like to add this coin to the other exchange sites "more exchange sites supported more people will be interested."

I think the safest one is Lykke. We will add more exchanges when Lordmancer has more players and LC has higher demand.

Dont have any experience on using up Lykke but i have seen their ANN thread which is active which i do consider this to be a good one too, https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1402110.0
The good thing on using up Etherdelta is that you do really have the full control of funds yet its Dex and all you need is to import keys but it doesnt matter yet prices would really be just almost the same
either on those exchangers.

the game looks like a RPG game of my youth, the best game ever  - Heroes of Might and Magic II,III
I spent some serious time playing this game both online competitively and  versus a computer, completing every campaign and add-ons at least several times each :)
love the graphics and love that the game uses cryptocurrency, but the concept itself is not 100% clear
its a MMORPG where you can play for free, right and if you want you can "donate" by purchasing certain items
they can also be discovered by questing or fighting other players, right?
do you have to pay to start? do you have to pay for subscription or any extra features?
like premium accounts with "increased vision, less build times " or whatever?
cannot download and install it at the moment to try myself, so would like more information, is there a forum available?
and Lykke is not some exchange that I or many people have heard about, do you plan to get listed on some exchange more popular than that?

Wow, people say it's really interesting. The game looks pretty cool, but how is it different from other games like that, apart from the fact of accepting the actual cryptocurrency as payment within the game? What I'm trying to say is that there is a lot of room for improvement if the team is interested in that. Blockchain is mainly used for monetization is gaming industry, while there are potentially infinite other options. It could be used more for inside things. I watched a video once, where speaker was elaborating on how blockchain could be used to store data about history of all posessions and battles in which some weapon was used. Here's a link, I hope it will be inspiring to the team: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ywvTIM_eOVI.

I can't find any register button on email that is why I directly use vk account and seema there is a problem too. Would you mind tellling me how to create? Btw there is only login and play button there, seems that I can't find anything more there. And when I tried to click on login then it start without even having account to play. Should I pass the tutorial to create an account there?

Hi! Thanks for the link, we will watch it. We know that blockchain can be used for more features. But the problem is that all existing blockchains are too slow and too expensive for that. Anyway, we will keep an eye on the technology and once it is improved enough, we will be able to update its usage in the game.

Oh, I really didn't know that there is not a single one fast enough for such things... And what do the expenses come from? I mean, isn't it just code someone has too right? Or are skillful programmers that could do that are simply too expensive? Or is it the transaction fees we are talking about? I also wonder if you guys took a look at DAG technology since blockchain is slow and expensive. It's not that popular in the world of cryptocurrencies, but IOTA and Byteball are both pretty successful cryptos nevertheless. This technology is supposed to make transactions getting confirmed faster when the community grows, while each blockchain naturally get slower. DAG has its ups and downs, but perhaps this could help you make the game absolute #1, who knows  ;)

Yes, I'm talking about transactions fees.

Last week I met a guy from Ethereum Zero, he said that their blockchain can work 1400 transactions per sec. But what are 1400 transactions for an MMORPG?

Imagine that you have 10000 concurrently online users. Each of them can produce a few transactions per sec...

I'd really like to see a game like this one where you have infinite options of leveling and personalizing your gear. Nowadays most games are linear and there's not much you can do to change it. THe randomization is there but it's always locked in brackets. You can get the same item with a a damage between 1 and 50, but that's all there is to it. In the end when you see someone with that item you know that he can at most do 50 damage with it.

I'm going to download lordmancer today and come back with more comments once I get to know the game.

First thing already fixed but after play for some time, it crashed again and I need to relog again to make sure the game will continue. But when I saw the comment on play store, everyone said that it is a nice game and smooth. How can I keep this problems coming up?

thank you for the replies, I don't frequent Discord lately but this can be a reason for me to login and join the discussion
also to dust off my Android phone, do not usually play games on it but will surely try this game out
wonder if it is possible to make a port of it for PC or play it on a PC through emulators like NOX or similar?

I know some people are playing using Blue Stacks emulator. You can download it here https://www.bluestacks.com/ru/index.html
My phone is just on mid-tier specs and might not work smoothly and lucky that this can be installed thru Bluestacks.I want to ask if there are items that can be solely farmed which can
match up on the items that can be bought? In short isn't this PAY TO WIN type?

All in-game items can be looted or crafted inside the game.

Hello, is it only me who can't get in this game?
I tried logging in with social media but only VK was available and I didn't find it on Facebook, even though there was a Facebook logo that I should be able to get in using Facebook. I want to use email but the command there is "log in", while I have not registered before. I tried choosing "play now", but it was stuck and I tried it three times and it still remains the same. Can anyone help me, I'm very curious about this game. Thank you in advance!

Hi! Looks very strange. Do you use an Android device? Which one?

You don't need to Log In if you haven't played LM2 before. Just tap on "Play now", pass a short tutorial and then you will be able to create your hero and connect an email to the account.

I got it today and I like it. It's well built and offers a lot of features and player stats. The map is huge so exploration will take some time and the game unlocks new things with every level. I found out that you can research different troops, learn spells (although their number seems pretty small), craft items, trade items at the marketplace, fight other players, join clans... Pretty well built if you ask me.

As for the crypto side of this game, I have my doubts whether people will want to trade cryptocurrency for ingame items, but let's hope they do. Do you have any stats available? How popular the marketplace and the ingame currency are?

Can you buy and sell items between players right on the marketplace or do you actually have to do it privately among users?

It's a question for more experienced users because I've literally spent an hour playing it. To my knowledge there's a marketplace available in town and you can list any item that you're holding in the inventory. You can choose if you want ingame gold coins or exchangeable tokens for it. I don't know if there's also a private option or a clan trade.

I tried it too for hours but not getting to the market yet. I do not know how to sell it by token, if people do not want to buy from the token then we will never get anything from it too. I think this is really hard game to get the token. And btw what items can we sell here? Now I am lvl 11 and only get items from quest, nothing else. And I believe this quest itema cant be sold right?

We have only published the game on Google Play a week ago. Now our goal is to attract more players. When the game has a strong community, in-game values will be valuable. There are some tradings now, but not many.

In order to sell something, you need to reach higher levels and find or craft some unique items in the game.

Where can I find it anyway? And how much level do I need to achieve that? Last night I just opened market, is that the same thing with the market you mentioned about? And how much ia the current level cap? And btw gold is really needed on this game right? To get 5 food, it costs so much

Anyway, I like to play more of this game, hope that you can give more guides and tutorials for others so that everyone can enjoy this game

Looks very good, but I have a question. Why do game developers go for counter-party tokens or their own Alt coins and not for mainstream coins like Bitcoin. I know the scaling issues with Bitcoin was a problem, but second layer applications like the Lightning Network is solving those issues now.

I would much rather use a coin that are used by millions of people, than using a unknown coin that still needs massive adoption.  ???

Also people are already asking questions about the exchanges that are supporting these coins? <All of them are virtually unknown>  :P

I can't answer for all game developers, but in our case, we conducted an ICO and we are obliged to use Lord Coin.

OK, that makes perfect sense now, I did not know that you went that route. It is unfortunate that you did not take "Augmentors" example, where they went for a Bitcoin/DataBits crypto tokens (DTB) combination - https://bitcoinprbuzz.com/press-release-shark-tank-augmentors-game/

Still, your game looks great and I hope you will be able to incorporate Bitcoin in there, some time in the future. Good luck with the project.  ;D

Ps, I am too lazy to signup with multiple exchanges for every service or new token I use. I want a one-stop solution.  ::)

A must thing to be add up which it should really have an option to have Bitcoin on this game because if they just solely focus on their own coin then we can already presume on what would happen
with this ahead. You are right and i do much prefer to have a one-stop solution because it is really hassle on finding up exchange just to buy the coin. Collaborating BTC/LC will might be a good way to attract more players.

Is it possible to play this game on a desktop through a web browser? Or is this game specifically designed to be played on either an Android or IOS devices only? I watched the YouTube launch trailer and the game does look fun to play, and it is even more rewarding for the players as they stand a chance to earn some free Lord Coins by playing the game.

You can play it on PC but you would need to use up some emulator since this is a mobile app.Btw, here are some list of available emulators you can choose  on

Already watched this but it does not say any details yet only some cover of the game as well. There is not all information there but it is quite useful, you should make some more so people will know it better

Lightning Network is good actually, but I do not think that it is already stable. There might be people developed the game by using that but people are too scared to play on their site yet. Anyway for the coin itself, of course bitcoin is much more better than any coin but to think that a game implemented those coin, I think this might work, as long as the game provide good things for players then it might work and mass adoption will be easy

For the exchanges, there are people claimed to know that they know some of it so it is not that bad either to have someone know it instead of no one knowing anything. This might happens if they are bigger enough, then other exchanges will come too

I use the the Bluestacks emulator to launch Android games on my desktop computer, and it works pretty well with my PC. I've read and watched several videos on Android emulation on Windows, and most of them say that Bluestacks is indeed a good option. Click here to go to Bluestacks' main site. (https://www.bluestacks.com/) The main page states that the emulator is 6x faster than the Galaxy S9+, but this depends on the performance of your PC, of course, but the emulator is faster than others I have used in the past.

I can't get it to run with Bluestacks even when I try to manually install the apk because it just shows a red ! over the icon after installing. Were there special steps to get it to work?

Another Android emulator that is good for games is NOX. just search it in google and it will give you the link to download NOX. Been using Nox in  different mmorpg and other online games like Loong Craft, Lineage II , Pokemon Go, Mobile Legends and Vain Glory. Tried it also in Lotdmancer and it is working fine.

Remix OS is a good option too if they want to play it with PC the good thing is it's not lag compared to bluestack.

The original link of Remix OS you can found from here http://www.jide.com/remixos-for-pc

I played for 2 days.
Pros:
  • sound and graphics ok, the game is very playable and offers pvp
  • You can get attacked by other players at any time which is nice
  • different races to choose from
  • large world

Cons:
  • I had problems with loading instances. Sometimes the game gets stuck half way on the loading screen or displays "database error" or "unknown error" and you have to restart. One time I had to restart 5 times before "unknown error" screen stopped appearing. Got a new 2018 phone with updated android and firmware and playing on wifi so I'm pretty sure it's an issue with the game not my hardware.
  • The number of quests is limited and you can restart them every day so you're doing the same quests over and over until you reach desired level and quests are very much alike. The only difference is the number of things you have to kill. So one quest is to kill 200 archers and another 500 spiders. I wish there was more to it

Technically it is possible, but the game cycles and UI are designed for mobile devices. So I think if you'd like to use a PC, it is better to use an emulator.

I am playing this too and it is already about 4 days, although I am not quite active here because playing other games too. From what I can say here, everything is good, from the game because what you need is to get stronger and getting more items to be sold and trying to get more money and convert it to btc. This is what my main goal is, unless there will be no fun at all getting all the time wasted but do not get nothing. Btw there is quest to help you out but you need more strategies or guides to make you stronger and OP just made it in no time. You should take a look on their youtube guide, although it is not enough ;D

the game is super addictive
I finally got to play it and I know the game is good when I tell myself : "Here this one last quest and I will stop" :)
and then it is 3 a.m. and you are level 13 after 2 hours of play and wonder where the heck is that U'Dzorak location?
the gameplay is good old Heroes of Might and Magic style which I adore, PVP battles, daily quests, crafting and much more
the only thing that I found slightly annoying that the quest system is not very user friendly-if a quest requires a portal to travel and you are on a different screen, you could spend sometime trying to figure out where the hell do you need to go? and some occasional battles you do not want to fight when your fat fingers click the wrong button or place on the map
have yet to get my first items sold or bought to test the cryptocurrency part, but so far so good
level 15 and levelling up, I see some players level 52 already o_0
, must have been playing nonstop

Please make it happen but I know its going to be a hardwork before it happens, for sure many are going to play through web browser.

This belong more to project development than to gambling.

Downloading the app.

Correct. They could add a way to gamble though. Many RPG games have a special enchantment game where you put in your item and have a chance of it getting empowered or disappearing. Also, there could be a way to battle for items in game in a way that you'd each bet an item before dueling.

BTW, I'm almost lvl 18. It's addicting. Could use more online players though.

<snip>
have yet to get my first items sold or bought to test the cryptocurrency part, but so far so good
level 15 and levelling up, I see some players level 52 already o_0
, must have been playing nonstop

I think it got released much earlier than the "official release". Those lvl 50 people were playing for weeks before we came here.

Lordmancer II was in open beta for almost a year/ But we have some restrictions for players. For example, the level cap was increased only a week ago. By that time it was the 50th level.

after the update I experience freezes, i.e. the loading screen would get stuck and the only way to continue is to exit and relaunch
although it happened before on many occasions, now it is the third time in an hour :(
and the daily quests have been reset too, not that I'm complaining about it or something  :D
also the mobs became stronger, way stronger than before, did you do some balancing?
p.s. cannot find the bank building in game, or do you have to be in a clan to access it?

We didn't rebalance bots. What is your level and on what map do you play?

The Bank is a button in the left bottom part of the screen.

level 18 and I went to the wild lands or whatever they are called, level 12-16 I was able to kill Elite mobs 6 out of 8 times
now regular mobs are showing me the meaning of life :)
I wonder how does the map generation go? every single player on the map sees mobs and mines adjusted to their level?
because when I level up it keeps in the  +- 3 levels range or so
and if a player level 13 comes along , would he see my mobs or they are generated for each player separately?
oh noez, somehow I missed an interface button o_0 , reading your tele channel atm. seems like the ones with lvl 50 been playing for quite some time, explains

When a hero comes to a land, we create its "reflection" which relays to the hero level. And bots are generated +- some levels. When another hero joins the same land and his level is close to this range, he will join the same reflection. So there is a lot of random events :) Probably next time when you join the game, bots will be a little easier.

I might bore you with questions soon :)
but discord doesn't seem to be very active
I spent lot of time playing the game and bar some minor glitches and bugs that happen too often, for my liking aka load screen freezes
disappearing items (happened twice already) and strange PVP rules where you lose 20% of the things in your inventory , including items?
the game is very much playable and I wonder why there are not many people playing it
you should introduce some sort of an affiliate system so people who invite others get something in game
like crystals, items or lordcoins ( when the guy they invited reaches a certain level of course)
can you explain the item colour ranking in game? from common to epic?
like white-green-blue-orange-red? or am I missing some because of the level
and due to the lack of players the market system is not working, I have all of the selling slots in all castles used
yet there is barely sale a day even if the price is in gold and competitive

Thanks for your questions!

You lose 20% of Hero Bag only when you fight on Wild Lands. Yes, it is risky. But that is the point :)

Colours are: white - green - blue - purple - orange - red.

We are working now on attracting more players to the game. It is our priority now.

If you have updated the game to 1.88, you should notice the new Property dialog - it will help you to find your items. We received some complaints about "items disappearing", but all that cases were connected to different places like they were trying to find the items in another castle. Anyway, if you experience any problems, please contact our support on Discord or email.

you cannot get attacked in the starting areas and the area of the three fractions- Sunny Island
you can play without engaging in PVP - just farm in the area if you prefer :)
but if you want better equipment, more rewards and finish quests - you will have to venture outside, eventually
make sure you do not keep consumables and things like magic dust and food in bags
but I'm not sure if there is a chance to lose your helmet or shoes if you get beaten?
lets say I carry 5 shields in my bags... for some reason, lol
if I lose I lose one of the shields too? or it only works for the things like rivets, gems etc.?

It works for all stuff in the Hero Bag. Only items that you wear are safe.

I think this game needs a lot more marketing, because my child says the game is very addictive and he thinks it will do much better if there were more people playing this. The market is not very active and the higher level players are dominating the game at the moment.  ::)

What can we do to increase awareness of this game to take it mainstream or did the first release of the game do some damage? I see the Facebook group has about 1.2k followers.  ???

Yes, we need marketing. If anyone has good ideas, we are open to discuss.

If someone has good marketing channels, we can work on a revenue share model.

I will appreciate any help.

How about simply creating some referral network and paying for active referrals? < You give a small referral commission at the start, to start the process and then a small commission for the first year on all trading transactions that were done >  ???

Alternatively just start a small signature campaign on this forum, I think there are a shortage of low paying campaigns for lower ranking members at the moment. <restrict posting for payment to 3 posts a day, to prevent spamming>  ;)

what needs to be done:
1. affiliate marketing system introduced
with either lordcoins or crystals as rewards when a player reaches level 20 ( doable after only a couple of days of play, as proven by me :)  )
this will allow you to buy campaigns at aggregators like ad1.ru , or run a signature campaign here
I could direct targeted traffic to your game but I do not really fancy it go like water through sand without any return for me
2.very important- you desperately need guides, wiki and videos
I could not find a single! english guide  and the only video is by Volosatyj and its in russian
community is your best seller, focus on creating a community and you will earn money
(clan wars, levelling up race, PVP etc.)
a newbie should come to the game and already know where to look for information, not to run like a blind puppy for days  like myself
and I played quite a few MMORPG and a HMM3 proplayer+ I speak english and russian fluently, so it was easier for me to adapt
3.balance your trading system, I spoke with many high levels in game, the economy is not working too well , they say
hint:Hugh Hefner in particular sounds upset and wants to quit, maybe you devs should talk to him in game
but this could be due to the fact that there are only so many top players and not many new players getting to lvl 50
I have yet to see things being sold for lordcoins, the whole system is very complicated and it should not be so
if Google doesn't allow you direct links, create an exchanger for lordcoins to Paypal, payza, webmoney,Payeer etc.
the whole idea and your marketing point should be: earn cryptocurrency while playing your favorite game

this is just a brief analysis, I keep playing and the game is great, deserves more exposure and better marketing

I gave you a Merit for this constructive answer, because it adds value to the conversation. I asked my kid to try it and it was a huge struggle for him to get started with this as a newbie. A MMORPG game should have a lot of tutorials and videos to explain the basics and I had to help him with most of the knowledge I had of MMORPG experience I earned over years of playing it.

He had the same goal, " Earn Crypto currency while playing your favourite game. " and he received no joy, after playing it for 2 weeks. So he just gave up.  :(

I am a fan of MMORPG games, but it will be better if there is a Windows version available. So are you guys planning to make this game available for all the platforms are there or just mobile devices? Anyway, I love the mobile version and it is not actually a very graphic intense game so it even Runs smooth which is a good thing for me. I appreciate your hard work and I loved the concept.

Hi! Technically it is possible to run a PC or web version of the game. But there are some peculiarities like low-poly 3D models and mobile-oriented UI. Probably later we will fix these issues and run the game on PC. But for the nearest months, it will be available only on mobile.

you can play the game on the PC  using Android emulators
I tried NOX and Blue stacks emulator for android
while NOX is my favourite, it doesn't support the game-says wrong device
Blue stacks works , bit you have to tweak the settings a bit to get it to work, if I'm not lazy, I will post a guide on how to launch this game on Blue stacks
I might play around with different devices on  NOX as well to try and find the one that supports it

I have different traffic sources, mainly crypto related whitelists ,mailing lists and forum databases ( earn forums, investments forums, bitcoin forums etc.)
also hundreds of thousands of credits on traffic exchanges and PTC sites that can be used and several blogs

He said the learning curve was too difficult and the gap between high and low level players was too big. The game also had little opportunity to earn some money, because the activity was too low. <not enough people to trade with>

He is also playing other games from https://plarium.com/ ..so he is used to games with a massive user base and a lot of activity and also very good tutorials. :P

I doubt if you can do something about the activity, but I know you can do something about the tutorials.  ;)

I doubt if you can do something about the activity, but I know you can do something about the tutorials.  ;)

there are many things that can be done to increase activity-you need more exposure and a larger playerbase
for that you have to spend money on advertising and marketing: more players means the whole system will work as it was supposed to
including market, ingame items sales and more ,mind you, the game is new, there are no level 60 players in game just yet
and you can get to level 20 in a day or two! after that, if you play a couple of hours a day you can level up 1 level a day no problem
but I agree  that the learning curve is pretty steep, there are many things  that are not very obvious but there come.... yes, tutorials :) hopefully soon
there is one new video covering the basics , maybe there will be more soon

I think this game needs a lot more marketing, because my child says the game is very addictive and he thinks it will do much better if there were more people playing this. The market is not very active and the higher level players are dominating the game at the moment.  ::)

What can we do to increase awareness of this game to take it mainstream or did the first release of the game do some damage? I see the Facebook group has about 1.2k followers.  ???

Yes, we need marketing. If anyone has good ideas, we are open to discuss.

If someone has good marketing channels, we can work on a revenue share model.

I will appreciate any help.

signature campaign?
twitter campaign?
facebook campaign?

all social, in my humble opinion, works

Yes I see you have around 1.3k followers on Facebook, but by running marketing like a social campaign I'm sure to make this game have more followers on social media and there will be many people who will come to your game platform. If marketing goes well, surely this game will be more popular with great enthusiasm from crypto users. IMO

Yeah, marketing is a must to spread words of any project. Hope this game will grow its community and larger player base.

Thanks! Didn't know! I'm checking it out as we speak on a new iPhone XS Max. Just installed Testflight.

Do you have some sort of bounty program to reward beta testers? Would be awesome. Cheers.

Yeah, this is very addictive game to play right now and it seems leveling should be easy, take all the quest and go for higher level. The main problem here is about their market, we can't predicition the market are going to selling stuffs. And it is hard to earn money here too because we need the convert it to eth and withdraw, this is why cost some time just to get the eth

Interesting. A turn-based combat, big world with a lot of enemies, item crafting, a global store, and of course the ability to sell items for money. I have to play some, although there seems to be a very small number of quests that you can take. There are some that pop up automatically, but the ones that you can get from NPC are very limited. Despite it, the game is good. Is the game Russian? I saw a lot of RU players.

Hey! The devs are Russians. And historically the game has a Russian community from Lordmancer 1 which was launched in 2008.

So I guess with this web version released by the developers, the user would not need to use an emulator anymore if they wish to play the game directly from the browser on their personal computer. Is that correct? I believe this changes will definitely increase the number of players to play this game.

Actually, there are some technical issues with auth in the web version.

But everybody is welcome to use a vk.com version of the game: https://vk.com/app5369873_-77258140

All that you need is to create a vk.com account. Then you will be able to use the same vk.com account to play on web and on Android.

Ah ok so that's some kind of ingame currency market implemented?

A bit like Eve online with the PLEX which has a concrete real world value?

The problem with those games is that creators are... Heavily tempted to jsut create objects better than current ones and sell them on the ingame market...

On the long run investment of the players get depleted in the new items created. It's more or less a closed system where creators can vacuum whatever they want...

I have seen very high level players wandering around the map when I am playing the game on my web browser, they are higher than level 50 and I think if using the web browser to play the game requires everyone to restart from level 1, it is quite impossible to reach level 50 in just a few days since the announcement of this web version.

As stated earlier about other players high level. Its already open for a year so no doubt there would be high leveled players.

I think it got released much earlier than the "official release". Those lvl 50 people were playing for weeks before we came here.

Lordmancer II was in open beta for almost a year/ But we have some restrictions for players. For example, the level cap was increased only a week ago. By that time it was the 50th level.

there are many high level players 50+ , but the level-ups to 50+ , and ,recently, 60+ levels were allowed not so long ago
I have been playing this game for some time and from my experience, I can say that levels 1-20 can be done in one day
that is if you "live" in the game for 16+ hours, levels 20-30 take around one day each, again if you play heavily
levels 30-40 take around 1.5 days each , levels 40 and up ,probably 2-3 days per level
getting premium account that doubles your experience helps, but there is also  this need to improve your spells and armies
it would be hard to find yourself level 50 with only grey tier armies and spells, "older" players will be killing you in PVP easily
so there is another strategy of levelling your armies up first, you can login and collect chests and bonuses and food and magic dust
complete only the quests that give you army improvements and do not rush the heroes levels

In my opinion, this game is pretty hard to progress fast for players who did not choose to purchase the crystal and premium pack, as the players could basically only purchase 2 food every 3 hours in the game using the in-game gold, it would take a long time to upgrade the armies. But this game still serve its purpose as an entertainment for players to play when they have some free time on their hands.

This is the actual first time I have ever seen a game wherein you'll be able to earn crypto while you play the game, I definitely like the idea and everything and I will certainly try it out later once I've installed it in my phone, I'm gonna share my experience later, this is very interesting and my curiosity is on top as well.

you can progress without any crystals or purchasing premium, I can attest to that :)
I have 119 crystals in the bank and I have wasted quite a few missclicking recharging armies for crystals or fleeing battles unnecessarily
I have several valuable items that can be sold for crystals if need be too
as for the food and magic dust thingy, you have to beat elite monsters and they will drop copious amounts of food and dust
it has been adjusted in the latest update, but I'm level 33 now and thy drop 1-6 each per kill still
it is not easy to defeat them, though and I've spent some good money on my items
another option, just farm the mobs and amass gold, food and dust is sold for around 450-600.000 gold per 100 on the market
and if you join a good clan, top players may even give it to you for free or way cheaper
in general- if you have time and you like the game and the concept, you will progress without a doubt
this game is new, it is being updated EVERY WEEK, means the team behind it is working hard on improving the things

Grinding along the way would be much better rather than rushing yourself too fast on leveling.Level would really be useless if items and spells
arent really that good. Even if you are on level 50+ and if someone lower level than yours with better gears or enhancement then you would really be
easily beaten up. On each MMROPG i do play, this is my casual way of making myself tough is the first priority.

The hero levels and equipment in this game are both important elements, as it would requires the player to gain certain level before they could equip the high level gear, this game is still relatively fun to play on a causal basis for casual players as most of the in-game quests could be completed quite easily.

Depends on the game but if this one would always tied up with char level same goes with its gear then hunting for max level will be the main aim then
the last gear would be grind up for more enhancements or upgrades just like a usual stuff on MMORPG.

For OP/Dev, suggesting to have some marketing on your game just like others suggestion.

It is great to see the developers of this game trying to balance the players turn in battle mode, as I felt the player who have the privilege of getting the first turn to move all his units will have a big advantage against his opponent in PvP mode. If a player unit starting in the first turn was able to hit his opponent units with a lucky strike which would greatly increase the damage, the opponent who started in the next turn would usually find it very hard to turn the table around.

yes you can use Blue stacks
you can install it from their official site here: https://www.bluestacks.com/
just follow the setup instructions and when finished tick "use beta graphics acceleration" option or whatever it is called or the game won't run
register your gmail to access google store and install lordmancer II as usual
the game runs smoothly and you do not fat finger units or dialogue options as I do on my phone ,so running on an emulator is sometimes a better option

It is not a mining, it is an open market. You can sell rare items on the market to other players.
I liked kings bounty a lot! How you earn those rare items? And how other players buy it? Can we earn money in the game and than buy something or we need to invest our own money in the game? Thanks in advance on answers my friends :)

You can loot or craft items. The game is free to play, but you can pay to use some nice paid options.

Thanks! I will give it a try, sounds like a nice game. If I need any help I will come back here, do you have any other advice before I download and start playing? I can download this emulator if the game runs better like that, I saw the comment from veleten above.

You might either consider to use other emulator as well like noxplayer, so you havr 2 options when you cant use bluuetacks on their game. And for game advice you should check on their guide that they already posted on their youtube link to get more guide about how to play this game. Everything is really easy when you have some guide, just follow the path and everything is good to go

Last week I posted about my first impression about the game before even downloading it, it is indeed legitimate as I have seen it on the play store, I downloaded it and playes throughout the tutorial, and here is my HONEST review about the game:

1.) Graphics 7.5/10 - The graphics are decent enough but it needs improvement, the game just recently launched and from what I am seeing is the potential that they could show once they made some improvements with the game.

2.) Gameplay 7/10 - The gameplay is decent as well but I think that there could be a much better fighting system than what they have right now, and on the other side this is not a problem for me at all since I enjoyed playing the game and going through places, the game reminded me of Diablo and I think that the game will blow up soon if they put on some major improvements with the game.

Overall would be 8/10 for Lordmancer and I will definitely continue playing!

the game is definitely worth playing!
unity engine allows to create some really neat graphics and the game delivers!
details, landscape, units- eye candy , I really like the graphics
but I will choose gameplay over graphics any time and Lordmancer is what I've been looking for as a fan of King's Bounty and Heroes of Might and Magic series
I simply love the franchise and was looking for something similar to play on my mobile
there is a version 2.0 coming soon , hope the new necro armies won't be an imbalanced something ruining the gameplay for those who do not have crystals, though

Is there any plans to implement some new quests in the next upcoming patch as it is starting to get a little bit boring in this game to be completing the same quests over and over again. It was nice to see the Undead race introduced into the game, as it would surely be fun to play against a player who would be using this new race in PvP mode.

Give them a chance, they're adding new things. I don't have much time to play but I keep the game updated and sometimes go in to claim free chests. Almost every week there are patch notes on startup telling me how much they've added, so I think that in time they will make the experience much better. I have to agree though that the game basically comes down to logging in every day to do the same daily quests.

I like the changes. The game has become much more dynamic now that units take turns to fight, instead of the whole army taking a turn. Also, you've made the battles on auto much faster which is nice because I had to lie down the phone and do something else while the battle was fought, because it was taking too long.

After the new patch, it seems that there is some issue now if a player are trying to play this game on the web browser as I am unable to find the button to load my old characters in the game, after I launch the game in my web browser, the only option I saw is to start this game in tutorial mode again.

Tried this out and I like the graphics and game play of it. Is there any word from the dev of getting listed on more exchanges for wider distribution and easier convertibility? I think it would be great to be able to move off of mobile as well, could expand the client base. Either way, great job of putting it out there for players to use and get crypto.

Lordmancer II team official announcement https://medium.com/@Lordmancer/official-announcement-1da50d4b4185
Does that mean every players would be unable to log on to their account once the game servers shut down after a few months time? I guess the players who have put in a lot of their time and efforts to build up a high level character on their account would be very disappointed with this decision to shut down the game servers as all the constant grinding to kill monsters and completing the quests in the game would all gone to waste after the servers shut down.

Excuse me but why is that in the gambling section?  ???

Shouldn't it be just in the services section?
Gambling isn't the core activity of the game is it?

probably not at the moment
read the above statement: https://medium.com/@Lordmancer/official-announcement-1da50d4b4185
tl:dr the team has run out of funds, the game servers will be online for some time more , but if there are
no publishers or sponsors  found, the project will be closed
shame, I really liked the game

I think it is depends on how lucky you are by getting rare item to sell into bitcoin. It just not only $1 that you can get but even more than that but still it depends on the market price which is relly global. If you still wondering how you can earn then you should started right now so you will earn faster

it doesn't matter how lucky you are, if there are no buyers for your items for cryptocurrency
as for now, there are not enough players who are willing to buy items for crypto
therefore you cannot sell your items , I mean you can sell them for crystals but you cannot convert crystals to crypto
I have several VERY good items, I don't even try to sell them for Lordcoins and it took me several days to sell them for crystals and way way cheaper than I was planning to
once again, there is a chance that the game finds a publisher or some group of people who redesign it, maybe change the concept slightly
and you will be able to earn more than puny 1$ a month, but now, as the things are- you cannot

I guess the lack of players playing this game have made the marketplace in the game became really boring and uninteresting as there are a lot of good items listed on the marketplace at affordable rates, but there is simply not enough buyers purchasing those items. And I guess after the announcement was made about the game servers shutting down in the next few months by the developers, there might be more players leaving the game as time goes by.

Marketplace would really be boring if there are only few players who do play on the game and such outcome is somehow anticipated. This already started and last a year and now would shut down on next few months.
Old players will really have no reason to continue on the game and with the current market condition you can really able to say that this is one of the factors but the main is that the interest of playing this
game isnt that good so its normal for them to do the next move.

I tried visiting your website to know further about your offer because I am curious about it like what are the possible amounts that we can get if we will try it but I have a little problem because a privacy error is prompting instead of your website.

And I saw that the response from this thread is pretty old and there is only 1 reply that in this year so I guess it is not working anymore? Can someone verified if this project has been abandoned already or it's not working anymore?

Same to presume that this project is already dead and if you do try out to check on OP's last logged in date then it was December 13, 2018. So thats already almost 2 years this upcoming 13th date.
And if you do also try to access http://lordmancer2.io/ then its already dead or the link is already broken so theres no point on making up discussion on this thread since its been long time gone.
Its a bit of waste that they didnt able to make it through and as expected where people doesnt really get interested much with MMORPG unless if its really well designed or do have something
new to offer.

This game has launched perfectly, I even register and play the game. But unlike other MMORPG at first, you cant notice the "M" or Massive players. The mechanism of using crypto rather than coins attracts more players coming from the crypto world, but it also becomes the avenue for new players to learn how crypto works, which makes sense. It helps the gaming world as well as the crypto world. Howver,  they have a hard time sustaining the game due to some technical issues and others.
