Go to the altcoin discussion sub forum and you will find your answer there. You will learn about NEO platform which is a Chinese ethereum, or you can try the actual ethereum itself

Yes, you are right, he must ask in the altcoin discussion forum, there are many different platforms that have been discussed and also available according to Altcoin's own choice.

I'll recommend you shift your attention to altcoins... I've been following the growth of a particular coins for a while and I realize it's got potential to fly through the roof soon, it initially listed for 0.03 and has grown as high as 0.184 last week but it's at 0.0878 at the moment which means it's a good time to buy because it'll still rise above 0.184 especially if ethereum price goes up

I like to have many coins and i like bitcoin too it is very important that you must have good coins because if one grow and other fall it will compensate one another and it is an investment strategy that do not put all eggs in one basket other wise the risk is high.

You should learn first, not how to make money. If you don't understand anything, it will be useless to give you more platforms. If you don't have the ability to judge, you don't know how to invest. You can't just follow other people's investment advice. You must learn to give advice to yourself.

Bitcoin may be the forerunner of cryptocurrencies but many have come in its stead. Various altcoins as they are called came into existence with its purpose and goal.

Bitstraq exchange (https://bitstraq.io/) contains BAQ tokens that help you to trade seamlessly with the auto trading system. Along with a plethora of features, you can start trading as well.

many platforms like ethereum, litecoin, neo and other altcoins.
I suggest you, before making an investment do not rush and listen to others.
it is best that you do research on them, so you will not get any hesitation in choosing some altcoins from many altcoins.

You need to be very careful with altcoin investments right now, only short terms and only platforms with low volatility during past blood waves in crypto and small market cap (Holo/GoChain/Fusion and etc). When market will change to bull market and bitcoin rise - most altcoins will dump again.

It is a great decision, because personally, I do not like Bitcoin very much. There are so many perspective altcoin out there. Just look into the most trusted and invest in them, because the prices are great at the moment. Look at NEO, XLM or EOS. Those are amazing coins that will give you high profit.

If you choose a good platform to invest , it is unsure to bring profit for you because in this market, one coin has good platform is not also sure to trade much. Anyway, there are also some coins have both elements (good platform and big volumn transaction) such as : NEO, Qtum, Nano, IOTA

bitcoin is a currency not a platform. and most of the others are at least trying to be a currency hence the name of them otherwise there are no platforms where you are looking in.
additionally i should suggest that you should never ask others for suggestions about what to buy! because almost always you will be given bag holder's advice...

bitcoin is the crypto currency at the most stable price, as much as I see it, to suggest another altcoin, it's not easy, because no one has matched bitcoin, and speculation of different people will make you even more confused, you should look at some of the ratings on the coinmarketcap, and choose what you think is the most dominant for making investments

It is based on your own strategy. bitcoin is still a very trusted cryptocurrency for investment. But, if you want to make greater investments, some altcoins also have very interesting profits. You may list some coins such as ADA, EOS, and also Doge.

If you are looking for the platform that can give you regular dividend and you can try to use POS coin, MN coin or even dividend coin. There are some just like PIVX, DASH and Kickcoin that offers up to 6% monthly dividends. There are some platforms that focusing on the payment system that offers loyalty program too.

You should choose Ethereum. The number one altcoin and the most trusted one among the community! This coin is going to be the number one and will take the crown away from Bitcoin. One day the community will realise that the time has come and BTC should be replaced with a perspective altcoin.

Any top ten crypto in the market (even top 20) has a lot of potentials to make it big in the market. Ethereum and BCH will be a good BTC alternative if you are feeling conservative with your decision as these two have proven track record in weathering the crypto storm like btc. But other cryptos like ripple, monero, etc. are great candidates to invest in.

Well because bitcoin dominance to the market is above 50%, and so the price is really astonishing but talking about the other platform than bitcoin and still a cryptocurrency obviously this would be the Etheruem there is so much potential on ethereum in a way that it is very flexible to every exchanges. Don't force too much on bitcoin, think outside the box and see the opportunities on alts.

You can invest some altcoins. If you want to  operate a masternode you can invest masternode coins or you want only a good investment you can buy Neo or Ontology. Both have very  good future in my opinion.
Bitcoin is safest option for investment but you can not earn 50x money from btc . You can earn these kind of money from altcoins easily in bull market.

Obviously, eth is a strong potential coin of altcoins also there are few more good coins. I always prefer the top 10 in the CMC as these coins will be promising to invest and we can expect a good return. Well this is a best time to invest in crypto market as the value is dull now and you can make a good return in couple months if you stay calm.

all ico and altcoin offer it, you just choose and then sort it out.
but I suggest, you must be directly involved in every search and research especially to analyze it. currently there are many choices because almost the average price is cheap but there is no guarantee it will be profitable.

Since you're talking about a coin that actually gives you an income, I'd suggest you try out Steemit.
Even with a relatively small stake, you can earn decently by investing in different bots.

If you're somewhat good at writing, you can also get earnings from that.

Check out my account to gauge what you could be earning. I'm by no means a whale, but I'm pretty happy with what I earn there.

BTC is the most stable coin that sets the trend for the entire crypto market, and long-term investments in it constitute the least risk of losing their investments. Another such coin is ETH. But the lower the risk, the lower the potential profit. Greater profit can be obtained by investing in various altcoins, which are now very much on the market. But investing in them carries a big risk.

You should look up various Altcoins as there are a lot of good potential coins to select from that could be a good investment for you. Something you should understand people will have a lot of opinions of what the best coins are but before making up your mind look through some of them before deciding as you might like something that isn't considered a top coin but still has potential if you're looking to invest in something new.

ETH is always a very useable platform with a considerably huge community backing it up, and as bitcoin's long time rival, it's good to invest in it. EOS is also a good bet. It beats up bitcoin and ethereum when it comes to speed and scalability. Another good platform is NEO. I hold it since holding it gives me extra GAS. It is more like ETH, but transactions here are free, unlike with ETH that is painstakingly high, and I guess, it's more functional than the latter. Stellar is one of the best also. It is also a decentralized blockchain like bitcoin and partners with IBM. It offers high-scalable or super-fast transactions per second with zero fee. NEM is also a good catch. While bitcoin miners throw huge fund to keep it alive every single day, NEM harvesters, on the other hand, don't have to do that. These five platforms are good to dive in, especially nowadays that the market is experiencing massive depression.

You should do your own research before going for something in this crypto market. There are some good, reliable and stable coin out there which have enough potential and promise. Investing on stable coins will lead you to gain a huge profit, and risks will be low too.
Be specific and precise with stable coin, he might misunderstood what you are trying to say and would lead him to buy those stable coins like USDT, USDC and TrueUSD.

Holding bitcoin is already an investment and you don't need any platform with it, just hold it on your wallet.

You can invest in other coins like NEO, ripple or Litecoin. You can also invest in the new coins coming up, but you just have to be careful. You can buy the coins when it is on exchange because that is where you can know the real value of the coin.

There are lot of altcoins in the crypto market available to invest in but before investing on any of the coin do some market research, Analyse the coins value and standards check for the recent value and performance of the coin based on that invest in. As per my knowledge ETH,NEO, Ripple are quite stable in market for some period of time so invest some on that too.

Well, I agree with you as we always need to focus on the coin which is stable. Right now the market is red but this will not be the same, also this is the best time to invest in crypto market. Researching will always help us.

If you meant tokens ,then you can open top 100 coinmarket cap and select a pait with good vision and working product, why not.

That’s a good initiative but keep in mind that before investing learn about that coin top to bottom and try to foresee the predictability and probable incomes. The coins have the much higher ratio as making profit, you should go for that.

Many? no but only few of them are doing a great market.

There will be tanking of altcoins in the market soon when bitcoin is going to gain dominance and control to the market once again.

You can't call it platform. It's simply cryptocurrency.
There are thousands of cryptocurrency out there and you may invest anywhere with some good potentials. Anyway, I suggest to invest in ETH, ADA. Those may have a good hype in near future.

Bitcoin gives assurance of stability on investment and the potential alotcoin gives the probability of higher returns on investment. Altcoins based on blockchain infrastructure & Exchange platform are beneficial for investment, do your research on the projects comming under this categories as follows
1) Blockchain infrastructure projects :- ZIL, EOS, Cardano, EOS, Steller, NEM, NEO, ONT, TRON, IOST etc
2) Exchange based altcoins :- BNB, HT, COSS, KCS, FCOIN, BGOGO, CEN, TEN, QASH, ABCC etc
Out of the above i am very bullish on Zilliqa, they are going to launch their mainnet in January 2019 this will pump the price of ZIL token.

Remember this thing about cryptocurrency indutry, This industry runs on the news, Hypes and trends (Such as partneships & exchange listing announcement, Technical upgradtion, testnet & mainnet announcement) & to collects this trends you will have to read mainstream websites related to cryptocurrency such as cointelegraph, bitcoinexchangeguide, bitcoinist, CCN etc to gain knowledge or follow the projects twitter handle in which you have to invest or take advantage of free sources like youtube & bitcointalk forum. Always do your research before investing & invest that much amount only if unlucky loss incurred which you will be able to digest.

Have you tried CEX for buying crypto? If not I would suggest you to check reviews of it and maybe register there. It's quite a comfortable exchange, btw. Though it doesn’t have very wide selection of coins but all cryptocoins listed there are worthy. For example, I found this place convenient for buying eth in euro (https://cex.io/eth-eur).

Bitcoin is not a platform. It is transparent ledger decentralized digital cash.  Because of its future use its price should increase. If you buy you might profit. You don not need to do any investments. Well maybe into some secure way to store your coins. That would be perfect investment.

I agree...the problem is to find the new coin that can do a big % of price grow...we must look for coins that are not ico or bounty but people are too stupid for this....I regret I did not get bought coins like litecoin, vertcoin or viacoin when they were very very low in 2015...there is a good dose of luck of course, but you must always do your own researches...for example watch Elicoin in livecoinwatch , is not an ICO or bounty... it's a coin with low mc, low supply, PoW whit cpu, no premine, active dev...only trading it on CREX24 for now...do you own researches in the thread in bitcointalk: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=3028302.0... people are too stupid for DYOR and got scammed by ICO or bounty...just my 2 cents...hope it helps...cheers

This is the truth, many people come to this market thinking they can make a fortune in a few days by just following the advice of someone else about in which coins you need to invest but the ones that get the most benefits out of cryptocurrencies are the ones that are able to identify by themselves the coins that can be successful in the future, because no one is really going to share the information about the coins that are any good to someone that he doesn't know.
