Hey guys, what do you think about ripple? Is it worth it to invest in it? Or it is a dead token? I want to hear your thoughts.

I would not advise you to buy Ripple. I think that Rippl reached the peak of his development. I think Ripple will continue to lose its popularity with time.

Instead of being told why Not to buy Ripple, could you justify Why you would buy Ripple?
do you know what's it used for or do you fall for the "marketing"?
I would definitely not buy any Ripple, for starters it's already valued very highly while the actual adoption process appears pretty doubtful.

if you want a safe investment you better go with just Bitcoin, if you want a high return investment (with high risk), look further down in the marketcap list and read about each project.
Ripple is also a banking coin and furthermore don't they have a huge part of the supply locked up that will be released progressively?

Remember that there is so many banks involved in ripple and banks always win . What differentiates ripple with other alts is its dev teams. They are professional when it comes to profit.
 They hold a portion of the currency and the success of the currency is what pays them off.
So, they are determined to make ripple a success. And we all are here for profit.

why ripple? there are many other crypto that are more feasible and more promising than ripple. indeed all this time the ripples have worked hard and have done and got great partners, but until now it has not affected growth for ripple.

OP was interesting to bet on the bank partnership with ripple. ripple consortium has a lot of customers and they are creating more and more cooperation with ripple. Just try to understand anybody that invest in the ripple bet on the development and the result of ripple blockchain adoption by the bankers.

I think it's worth looking at.  They have partnerships with a lot of banks and are continuously promoting xRapid, which could be a catalyst.  It certainly has utility for remittance.  I would recommend reading more about it, and check the whitepaper specifically. This one should move up when market sentiment shifts.

Try research it by yourself too but i suggest you, you can try to choose the other coin than Ripple. We know that Ripple's Price is too cheap right now but the other altcoin's price is too cheap right now. You can choose the altcoin's who really have more good technology than Ripple. But its my only opinion. Ripple does have a lot of partnerships with established banks but guys dont forget! These banks are not using the XRP token. They are using the infrastructure and services that Ripple offer but not their token.

Personally, I admitted that I like ripple because it is related to banks. However, now it is struggling to recover. You know this coin cannot be killed totally because it is popular, it is related with banks, enough community to manage and handle the project. Its up to you whether you will invest or not but you can try it and see what will happen.

Ripple is far from a dead token, it's the 3rd most successful crypto and you could even argue that when it comes to integration ripple is the most successful blockchain, only the use of that blockchain does not mean the use of XRP tokens. You need to do your own research but I think there is better value to be had in other projects that are better at pushing their own token instead of just making money for the founders.

you are confusing Ripple with XRP. the technology of Ripple is what some banks have thought they may need and have been studying not the token called XRP.
and also don't forget that PoS also has a lot of flaws of its own and a lot of different ways of being attacked that are much more serious than a 51% hashing power on a PoW coin like bitcoin which is impossible now.

I already buy ripple since the price is at the lower price and success to sell when it got the pump. Right now, I still have another amount of ripple, and I wait for another pump, and I am sure that ripple can increase again. My target selling for ripple is at $1 although I don't know when it can reach. But if I see that ripple can get down too deep, maybe I will buy more ripple and hold it for a while. As long as ripple can help me to find a profit, I will buy and sell ripple ;D

The coin was just one of the original "ICO" out there but it wasn't done that way, they just control all of the coins and sold some of them for bitcoins directly and use those funds to get bigger and better now needing no new funding. ripple doesn't die. the developer is still active. in my opinion the investment in ripple still has good potential. even though the ripple is a centralized coin. but Ripple has real collaboration with several banks. so that Ripple already has a real project that partners with government finance. so ripple is included coin for choice which is good for investment.

As for me,I buy coins with small market cap not the ones with a very big marketcap.I heard the team of ripple are holding 60% of the coin of which iam having fear that any team holding a greater percentage of its coin might likely dump the coin.

I think Ripple was a star in 2018, the previous year Ripple failed to shine compared to Bitcoin, Ethereum and Litecoin.

Riplle is a great coin. I am happy that I invested in it no matter all worries about new coin. All investors talk about ethereum and bitcoin. But ripple will replace it soon.
