Title: How to Choose better Bounty Projects?
Post by: Greendays on November 04, 2018, 05:14:21 PM
:D Hi friends, I realize most of the bounty hunter want to know about the steps for choosing the best project to start bounty hunting. thus i have created some of the finest methods i personally consider while choosing the bounty projects. I feel this will be benifitial for the bounty community, thus,  i am going to share these with you guys. if you have any further points to highlight additionally you may please comment down below. ::)

Most Initial thing i check for choosing a bounty programme:
1. The quality of project: Most people get attract from the design of website or thread and they decide to join that bounty campaign. Sometimes they join specific bounty campaign because of high rewards but at the end of campaigns they may get scammed or they not get the whole amount of money or bounty campaigns failed ICO and many other reasons.
Ofcourse this is not a thing to share but i have seen many hunters participating in a project which i confirmly know that the project is surely a dead project. hence, before looking anything else you can overview the concept and quality of the project.

2. Number of participants in the bounty program:  this is a another sure for trick to reduce the wastage of time for choosing the right bounty project. just check the date of bounty published and look for the total participants in the project. if, overall amount is justifiable then you can go for the hunting.

3. ICO Bounty budget (% of ICO tokens for the whole bounty program): sometime the percentage of bounty allocation is so poor that you recieve a penny for your months of hardwork. bounty hunter is not a difficult job but you have to invest a good amount of time to fulfill the steps asked by manager. simply the projects runs for few weeks to months hence, this time cost is your expense to get the return of bounty rewards.

4. Money raised in the ICO Pre-Sale or Main Sale up to now: this is not a very important factor however it can be a usefull thing to confirm a good project.

5. Token distribution date: see distribution of project. sometime bounty budget is so good that people enter into job without verifying the overall project. token distribution is another thing you should check to know the future aspect of the project.

Most important: TRUSTED BOUNTY MANAGER:- now-a-days, bounty managers are biggest player to  fulfill the community management role. in the tough compition choosing the trusted bounty manager is a good option to fast bounty hunting.
Choosing ICO bounty program is not exact science. It requires due diligence and judgement calls most of the time. Investing some time for researching and comparing different programs based on the outlined factors will give you the upper hand and help you stay ahead in the ICO bounty hunting game.

You have put up the main points nicely in your post, i will add that the shorter the bounty camoaign the better reward we can get, so do consider this as well, personally i think biggest thing that matters is a genuine project with good team and practical use cases.

I agree on most parts, just want to say that bounty manager has nothing with payments hence it is irrelevant if bounty manager is trusted or not, it only depends on team. Another thing is, you said funds raised are not important, I can tell you this is very important part because if project doesn't raise enough money they won't pay participants or they will pay less.

One of the most important things about an ICO is the team behind it. They need to be real and offer more than just a profile pic which they can just download off any social media site

Most important: TRUSTED BOUNTY MANAGER:-
I couldn't agree more. This step is essential for choosing a good bounty project. You don't have to look anything else. Just make sure the bounty manager is trusted. If the bounty manager is good, he will make sure the bounty campaign is legit. And if the bounty campaign is legit, you have good chances of getting paid. Nowadays first thing I look is the manager. If the manager is no good, I just walk away. No point wasting your time on other aspects of the campaign if the manager can't be trusted.

You hit the nail on the head here guy. Supposing all bounty managers have the same guiding principle of project success, it will be easier for hunters. But it is looking like a free for all marketplace with little or no barriers for trusted managers.

I usually look to support in participate in the projects which are backed by venture capitals or have collaboration with the fundraising platforms like LeekICO, KickICO, Liquid , Tokenomy, tokenplus etc or ICOs which are listed on ICOdrops which looks realiable to be as there are so many scamp ICO which can result in waste of energy as well as precious time.

Sometime you still can't choose a good bounty even you applied all these steps :). You should know that it's not the same all the time, sometime you should believe in what you feel and depend on your luck. Although you follow good bounty manager but not all bounty campaigns managed by good bounty managers are good :).

I have to say thank you to you for providing a useful way to choose a bounty, and I honestly say that is what I really have to do. About point number 1. I was interested because the website design was very good, so I decided to join. And number 3. about the budget also made many participants interested and tempted. Without seeing the other side, which eventually sometimes fails. That's what I've experienced. I want to ask and ask for your opinion or suggestion, who is the gift manager who you think has provided a successful project benefit. Hopefully it can be useful for all of us. Thank you for the writing that you shared.

Date the token distribution in the ANN bounty is incorrect. I picked the bounty saying they would distribution 30 days after the bounty ends, but now it's been 4 months and I still don't get anything. We should choose the bounty that their project has achieved softcap or hardcap

Very useful tips, none of which we've not known already, except for the newbies on here. I used to ignore the number of bounty participants before now and I felt it was negligible. I'm currently signed up with a twitter bounty whose number of participants has been significantly low since the start of the campaign despite being. an Amazix managed bounty. Guess I might have to reevaluate..

Thanks for this informative post. Like you said, I also look at similar points. Bounty Management Team is also very important. # of participants and ICO hardcap amount are also crucial factors. Besides all this, of course you need to have some luck as well :) Hopefully we'll be out of bear market when my bounty tokens are delivered  ;D

There are so many threads about same topic, how to choose correct bounty, how to choose profitable bounty campaigns and so on. I think that many people know it and if not, they can use search button.
And after all, why there are so many threads about that bounties are dead, no longer profitable.  ;D

I choose to join only bounties that are managed by a well known and trusted bounty manager like Wapinter, BTCLTCdigger, Newslikw, sinatra12. There are also many more but I prefer these ones because I never had a problem with them.
Choosing the right bounty manager is very important because even if project is good if bounty manager is bad you will just waste your time...

Choosing a better bounty is not a difficult tasks, just firstly check project website, then it's team, then whitepaper, and then last ICO ratings. If this all points are ok, then you will get your best project. But sometime despite all this, the bounty goes in vain. So little bit luck also depend!

Yes, I agree with the recommendations of the OP as this is very helpful to the newcomers in this field. In my  case, I usually check the ICO website and  read thoroughly the whitepaper to know the content about the project and it's purpose. Then I also review the team members that handles the project just to know if these are legit people. Also, the rating is also my primary consideration and the bounty manager should have experienced in handling the project where spreadsheets should be transparent to the bounty hunters.

I don't think number of participant will make a bounty campaign become better :). As I know there are so many bounty campaigns with small amount of participant but they were very great. I think the best way to check quality of bounty campaign is check ICO project behind it and their dev team.

This is so helpful for us to know the better and we think the legit bounty because we are know that many of bounty was scam but because of this idea on how to find and how to determined the legit and not scam bounty but the number 2 idea I am not agree with this because number of participants was not indicating to make the campaign better because even you few participants but all active and following rules they can promote that project.

Choosing the right bounty project can be such a daunting task, especially for those who aren't tech savvy. I mean most of the whitepapers from these ICOs are usually tech based, so for a non-tech savvy person, you can't just rely mostly on an appealing WP to join a bounty. For such people, a combination of all other indices is vital to making an informed decision.

Just to add.... The success of a project and in effect its bounty lies in the product offered, the team, community as well as realised funds. This can always guide your choices when selecting a bounty to participate in. Always ensure the project is a solid one with a chance of adoption, also consider their funding and team. If they have realised a good share of their funding, then its good to go. Also, check to see the legitimacy of the team involved and how credible they are. This and also a good community backing means there is a greater chance of success.

I think bounty managers these days contribute to so many downs in the campaigns too many inactive members and they still allocate stakes for one week work out of eight. If the hunter is lazy then remove him and make allocation more streamlined to those hardworkers

Its really important to start from the bounty manager, choose the bounty manager that already got a good reputation and experience, they can help you if you got a problem, and then read the whitepaper and the roadmap, see where do the developers aim after and before listed in exchanges, nowadays its very hard to search a  quality project, some are scam, some project doesn't got any value, so its hard now to make profit from bounty

Your post is very helpful for beginners in doing and looking for good projects to hunt bounties. I only say a little, in part 4 you said the money raised in the Pre-Sales ICO or Main Sales until now is not a very important factor. In my opinion this is precisely the most important topic for a project to have. This indicates that their project is good because many people are interested in their projects and deliberately buy their tokens. Each project has their respective sales targets. If their targets are not achieved, the project will be judged badly and cannot target them whether they are planning less well.

Choosing the best project can very difficult in this moment because of the cirrent state of crypto. This is so because, most projects end up being scam. Choosing the best bounty project comes with doing  an intensive research about which ever project you think looks promising. Again, you can also choose from good bounty managers who always run legit projects.

In my experience, I've been involved in a lot of bounty ICO projects. The most important factor in finding a potential bounty is that it is based on the whitepaper, the developers of the project, as well as the goal of that project in the next 5 years. Also, keep up to date on that ongoing social media channel of this project.

it looks like you have the same view when you want to choose ico, especially in point number two, which is to see the number or the least number of participants participating. if there are many, the chances are that the ico is good, if it's a little, it's likely not good because, judging by the number of participants, the ico can be considered good or not.

Do your research  before you step in to one. Get information about the campaighs before you go for it.
Who is behind it? Have they done it before? Do they have a good story? Is everything look professionaly etc.
And if something looks to good to be true, it probably is!

P.S. Extra tip - watch if there are legendary and hero members who go for it, if they are it could be a sign. :)

Total rubbish for the most part. The main and obvious choice would certainly be that it is already listen on or definitely going to be listed on an exchange. What good are tokens/coins if you cannot even sell them?
I see a lot of under the radar projects with very few participants because people look for all the flashy ANN's even though half of them are actually scams and will never ever be sold anywhere and basically are just decorations for your wallet.
If a coin is able to be sold already than you can't go wrong.

The last point I strongly agree with is "TRUSTED BOUNTY MANAGER" Because they will definitely check the ico project they will manage, they risk their reputation. Although there were indeed some cases it turned out that the manager was suspected of participating in the scam project

So choosing the bounty manager is so much important things before other things in the bounty campaign.

What one observe is the number of participants in the project.if they are good one then project is good. Other things which you have to observe is the bounty manager. A reputed and experienced bounty manager have already check the risk factor  the product offered and also assure that coin is going to be listed

It is good advice but also can not serve as a guarantee of the fact that the bounty will be great in the results. Choose a pretty famous manager bounty is safe to do this step and a good start off on should be too long analyzing. see the money collected for the ICO I think are much into priorities to determine whether there are a real and not investors.

Asof i see few of members are disagreeing with some point or other. it is only a different prospective of yours. As in my understanding, these point may have finely placed. these are my behaviour of selecting a better bounty project, which i shared for new hunters or hunters who have failed in bounty earning. thus, you can prove a sound reason so that, bounty community can get a nice output.

You have great experience and thank you to share with us. Just advice please check their social media. If they never/ late up date information it must be something wrong and we need to prepare. Second thing is see from their telegram channel, find how members respond about the program, is it good or bad. Mostly I only use those thing and number participants, not always success but I can avoid many scam project.

Yes deffinitely this is a good idea. And i think when i join the bounty i atrac at the website of the project, its design and flow that enhances me more to join. Also the budget, honestly speaking you're right. And ofcourse the very important is that when you join a bounty campaign, see to it that you join with a very trusted manager.

The most important thing is to check the team members. Because I have seen so much projects that are doing everything great, whitepaper, giveaways, bounty and so on, but they are just copy pasting team members from another projects. Be careful guys.

It's important to join campaign by a good bounty manager and strong project. I prefer campaign that has big reward pool and has specific timeline with starting day and ending day. Stakes updated weekly is a must. Some lazy bounty managers don't update the sheet and i don't know if i was accepted or wasnot.

I think another factor is to check the date the bounty will end, it's not encouraging to join bounty that takes a long time to end especially if you are a low ranking member,

in choosing a bounty project I myself first saw the bounty manager if in my opinion the manager was experienced and often succeeded in an ICO project of course most likely the project they were managing in the future would be successful as well and the second was from the ICO they had collected if it was good the result is certainly the possibility for success is also getting bigger.

in choosing a bounty project I myself first saw the bounty manager if in my opinion the manager was experienced and often succeeded in an ICO project of course most likely the project they were managing in the future would be successful as well and the second was from the ICO they had collected if it was good the result is certainly the possibility for success is also getting bigger.
yes i too observe that good bounty manager do not invest their time in dull projects. also sometimes even dull projects got success with successful bounty manager.

The best way for you to do this is to do your own research and not follow the things that other people say. You are going to want to check out the team members of the coins to make sure that they are actually the people who are working on the coin. Also look at the product to make sure that it is a product that you can be sure will be viable for the long term

look at the quality of the project by analyzing the most important thing is to do. When can conclude this phase of the project in about other phases will be easily exceeded. many or at least participants did indeed become another factor in the outcome, but would look into the concept would be much better.

Sure thing! The quality of a project when it comes to the team as well as the MVP is one thing that a bounty hunter should never discard checking out. It will only take just few minutes or hours to do some pretty good diligence and at least, you will know you have been able to avert some little risk when it comes to being scammed.

However, when it comes to the success of the ICO in general, and whether they reach their soft cap at least, which is a determinant factor to getting paid as a bounty hunter, that is one risk you really cannot avert and you just have to live with but at least, it is always hard for a project with solid product not to get noticed by investors.

I am choosing a good bounty projects it based on their team that handled the projects. Quality of the projects on how to be implemented it in the market. Bounty managers I also check. their white paper and road map. Their token allocations and number of participants.

Like you, I also consider these factors before participating a bounty campaign. These might be helpful for us and other bounty hunters out there, to make profits out of the bounties they had participated and these can also help them to choose a better project/s. In my opinion, we must include there the position of the bounty manager or the team behind it.

There is actually no other way at all than that. One thing I have known is that no matter how much some people want to keep lazing around, avoiding the aspect of due diligence as bounty hunters, they will eventually realize that this is something they just simply have to always do some good research just as an investor will do before participating in a project.

You are using time and resources, and you just won't want to be wasting that time on some shitty project with no future. The most important thing is just to look at two major things, the project team members as well as the product available. If those are not intact, then, there is a huge red flag.

See also who is the admin of the ICO Campaign. Look carefully if they can be trusted to look at their background and find out what their other campaigns have been accomplished.

It can be of great help to know if our bounty campaign is legit and we will give rewards that are right for us.

That right I usually take bounty from reputable managers. I do not need to scrutinize the projects very much, just trust those managers because the chances of success of those bounty is very high.

Nice summary on what criteria to look when selecting bounty.
I would add bounty allocation split.
Depending on in which bounty campaign are you taking part it is important how much is the bounty pool you will get your rewards .
It is not all the same it is 10-20%  or 30-40%.
Different bounties pay more for different campaigns and you have to be aware of this split.

At this moment, no matter how huge the potential of the project is, most of it are failing due to the negative market behavior. The situation negatively influences the outcome of the projects. Therefore, choosing a bounty project still do depend om the fortune of the project itself as well as the market situation which affects the projects.

that's a whole lot of points to watch out for when looking out to join a bounty. i look out for trust worthy project, i wouldn't like to promote a project that is full of red flag and can be a scam. best is to take time to find out the best bounty. i would ask which bounty had the best return for each one of us and how we got to know about the bounty, but that would be next time.

Many projects transfer their ico, and if they become successful, they will pay you just need to wait a lot of time in this market for the project to go somewhere

Read the whitepapers, because the most scammers are so lazy that they are just copy pasting almost everything form another project. Just read the whitepaper and if the project is a scam, you will find it out.

Some bounty programs are a waste of time, especially if it turns out to be a scam ICO, which occasionally they are. It's sometimes hard to tell, even the scammers are adept at putting together a convincing website and whitepaper.

It is important not to underestimate the importance of the quality of the ICO. Even if they are offering 1 million tokens 'potentially' worth thousands of dollars all your work will be for nothing if the token / coin is not on any exchange, or there is no buy volume

You made good points on your post. You should also add the credibility of the manager. There are a lot of new managers and there are also lazy and greedy managers who are ignoring reports and corrections on bounty program. That is why some participants are not getting their stakes for their works.

it is very difficult to choose best bounty. I think,, bounty payment more important for all bounty Hunter.  bounty manger trust is not important to choose bounty. bounty team is very important for payment. you alyaws should choose good bounty.. bounty team members, it's website ,, it's products everything is very important choose for best bounty. you should know, if project doesn't raise enough money they won't pay participants or they will pay less.. so experience is very important choose best bounty.

Title: Re: How to Choose better Bounty Projects?

I agree on most parts, just want to say that bounty manager has nothing with payments hence it is irrelevant if bounty manager is trusted or not, it only depends on team. Another thing is, you said funds raised are not important, I can tell you this is very important part because if project doesn't raise enough money they won't pay participants or they will pay less.

I disagree with you. Even though the bounty manager has nothing to do with payments, he/she still plays a very important role. The bounty manager governs the whole campaign - not only the project itself but the campaigners as well. He/she oversees that everything were all taken care of and should be in order. "Should be in-order". I once had participated in a scammed ICO. Nobody knew of course. Even the BM doesn't have an inkling that it was because he was already fully paid in his service. But the minute he sensed that somethings wrong, he immediately stopped the campaign. He told the participants that he doesn't have the heart to let us be fooled all the way. Thanks to BM's attentiveness, only 2 weeks of hard work was wasted.
Luckily for all the bounty hunters, the BM was one of those well-known and respectable handlers in the forum. To this very day i still look-up to him as the very best bounty manager in this forum.

That is the basis for determining a good ICO project. I personally look for projects with Bounty managers who have experience. And looking for Bounty who has coin sales is very good. And so far I have participated in ICO projects to be able to make money. Even though the money I made from Bounty was not too big.

Bounty manager is very important
When i look for bounty i look quality of team.Is there easy to find information about team members but not advisers.
I look for partners are there any real partners what the best are early investors
It is risky for ico to show information about partnership with legitimate companies because legal case can be opened
And roadmap. When product will be launched .Until product is launched ico will remain only yet another pump and dump scheme
Yet another question to ico founders are how they gonna deal with legal issues

The first and foremost thing to do is to check the quality of the project and once its done, I check bounty token allocation and distribution dates. These later two cannot be overlooked because no matter how good a project looks if the bounty allocation is too low compared to number of participants, then it's a turn off for me

If you do not know how to choose a campaign bounty, then be guided by the number of high-level members of the forum, the more there are, the more promising the project is.
I used to do just that. Later, I myself began to study in detail new projects, began to evaluate their chances for success, and learned how to find good bounty campaigns.

This, too, can prompt you to certain thoughts. After all, if the project does not release any news and updates about the project for a long time, it is not very good for us.

Lately I've been trying to choose those bounties that pay in more reliable crypto like bitcoin or Ethereum. Also one of the reliable criteria for me is that the coin is already traded on the exchange.Of course, this is not main criterion, but it gives me more confidence in the project.

I agree with all your point (especially with the bonus one), but I think that you underestimate the power of money that have been raised. Of course, quality of the project and team are two very important factors that are actually connected with that point. Nowadays, finding a project that would fulfill the soft-cap easily is like a rush for El Dorado. I am not interested in wasting my time just to come up with empty hands at the end of the bounty  ;).Others might have different points that they are keen on, but this is mine point of view.

Yes, now it is very difficult to choose a good project to participate. But you should carefully study several projects and choose the most promising one.

You are very right the most important to see if the project was good and nice was base on the campaign manager because even we see the token distributiom, budget and many more you cannot base on this because everything will be change specially on token distribution that in how many time they change and even the trading time you are always wait for almost a year.

I believe that the first thing to check is the project itself, if you are confident in the project, then you can safely join his bounty company and be sure of the result.

Choosing good bounties is difficult for this days or bearish period, so very important to pick those who've been active with social media like twitter and facebook as well as telegram channels. Because of that reasons you will acquire trust and courage to participate with their bounty projects. Also check the supply of their tokens, because if that's huge it won't gain expensive price on trading site after the project succeed.

Sometime you still can't choose a good bounty even you applied all these steps :). You should know that it's not the same all the time, sometime you should believe in what you feel and depend on your luck. Although you follow good bounty manager but not all bounty campaigns managed by good bounty managers are good :).
Not everything depends on the bounty of the project manager, a lot depends on the team. They are more important. If the team says not to pay the remuneration, the manager will not calculate and pay anything.

definitely luck is there still we can minimize the chance of failure to some extent.
To minimize the chance of failure, you must comply with all the items that are written in the first message. Well, and more experience, of course.

Date the token distribution in the ANN bounty is incorrect. I picked the bounty saying they would distribution 30 days after the bounty ends, but now it's been 4 months and I still don't get anything. We should choose the bounty that their project has achieved softcap or hardcap

The project will pay a reward if softcap is compiled. Now many projects do not pay remuneration and do not go on the stock exchange, waiting for the market to turn.

What i usually done in order to choose a project is the bounty manager. Any well known and trusted bounty manager can be one of many parameter to choose on a project to join into it's bounty. Then i will check on another parameter after choosing the trusted bounty manager.

What I always pay attention to is by seeing how the developer delivers and presents their project. I usually see the background of the team at the project. when the team has a good track record, I don't hesitate to say that the project will be close to success. choosing bounty on a project is not an easy thing, but when we have the ability we can reduce the risk of failure.

background team shows that they have experience or not in blockchain world..they must have this point cause it will represent their capability building projects.and now much failed projects due this point , their team has no skill and knowledge in blockchain.

By choosing some better bounty projects, you need to read the whitepapers of their projects, but now 90% of bounty projects are scam and not paying you.

Now find a good project how to play the lottery. Sometimes even skills do not help, and luck plays a crucial role.
I agree with many that 50% of whether I choose a project or not are decided by the authority of the manager. There are managers who have a bad reputation, and even if the project is good, I bypass it.

If you don`t know which bounty project to choose, try to follow some managers that have their bounty manager teams. They have their telegram groups where you can see currently active bounty campaigns, upcoming bounty campaigns, they are very supportive, you can talk with bounty managers, and in most cases they check deeply project they accept to manage.
I choose for myself, but I always check what they have to offer. I don`t wish to advertise them, but you can find more about them in service section.

To choose a better bounty project you have to deeply study project & check the team behind the project. Also check the social platform & try to analysis peoples comments on project.
After this you will be near to find a good bounty campaign.

You have put up the main points nicely in your post, i will add that the shorter the bounty camoaign the better reward we can get, so do consider this as well, personally i think biggest thing that matters is a genuine project with good team and practical use cases.

Its hard to determine whether the team is great or real so I want to add some tips on how to recognize which team are not real. Based on the article that I read before we need to avoid a project with a gorgeous team members because mostly fake project use those attractive face to attract investors earn money in the wrong way.

To find or choose a good and legit bounty you may have a multiple research and study about the project. its better to have review or research to the project so you asure to have profits and not be scammed.

Even if you follow your rules, you can make serious mistakes, many bounty managers fraudulently take tokens from the participants of the bounty programs and they consider this the norm.

It's very hard i think to decide which project is good, even it's a good project but only in whitepaper without actual development then it will turn to trash, also bounty manager cannot be a parameter to decide a good project/bounty. They are hired also have been paid differently from us. If they are good but the project itself is trash then it will turn trash too..

Certain projects announce their intended pool for bounty, but after the bounty campaign, the pool is reduced. This happened to a particular project and i was baffled. The reduction in the pool was around 8-%, which in my opinion is just too much.
We need to be careful of the type off bounty to join, because some are just waste of time. One of the funny things, is that some of them will delay payment, until the token dumps.

I am trying to take part in bounties that has already achieved their soft cap. This is a signal for me that the project will continue developing itself and is a type of guarantee that bounty hunters will get their payments, maybe not the full amount, but at least something and not by like other 60 percent of projects, that leave hunters with empty pockets.

Get to know much about the team and their involvement in some previous projects not forgetting any written down document your personal researches.

To choose a good bounty project you need to know about the project of that bounty like the team behind, road map, white paper and many more. And the ability of the team or the unique concept of the project. It's not just participating we need to research and study it.

Somehow distribution can be slow but its acceptable, especially if the bounty tokens is having a massive amount
As far as i know, most bounty hunters just dumped all the tokens and crash the price

Based on the experience I really do some research and reading their white papers to make it sure that it won't waste my time. And also I prefer to participate those projects with a trusted bounty manager that only choose to promote a legit projects to get a better earnings not only for him and also for his participants who trusted him to in his management.

When I choose a bounty I will look at if they are in ico bench and how much the total supply of their coin also looks at the legit admins and how many tokens they have raised and how good their project is from me joining many bounties are coming out so it's hard to look bounty especially so many scam bounty.

most of the ico bench are paid.

For me I always read whitepaper and knowing the project perfectly. Because you need to explore the project avoid such scam and loss of money.
Now people are faking technical documents very well and as a rule, not everything happens in a project regarding the white paper.

I am afraid that it will not be enough to evaluate a project. You only check their whitepaper then surely you will meet scam projects. You must check all their activities and see if their project has a product or not. Anyhow, now even those projects are good reviews still scam bounty, all will depend on a bit of your luck

that's what now happens a lot in the ico project. we cannot know for sure whether it will really pay or only a trick. I myself chose a bounty campaign just to choose now. like gambling, if I'm lucky I'll get paid, if I'm not lucky, I won't get anything.

Yes, you are right, if you have check their whitepaper, you also can find which one is the scam project, but I don't think they have the actual product before their ICO is success, anyway, they would like to say the real product and listing plan all after the ICO, so it still cannot find the scam easily.

Secondly you have to check some ICO rating sites & find out rating of that project, also check peoples comment about project on social platforms.

I tried all possible analyzes and tactics in the search for good bounty campaigns, but I can say with confidence that fraudsters are now very informed and determine where a good project is and where scam is very difficult.

But ICOs ratings also can also be bought so don't trust them then social media activity are increased by the bots so you never know who are the real people talking about it but checking their activity is a good thing.

I agree with these views, but there are cases where the scam project attracts a lot of followers with high returns, and finally the bounty hunter gets nothing. Last month, I met a scam that was forked by Ethereum. In the end, I didn't get anything, just wasting my time working.

we can't find out raised money as easily as that. Some campaigns don't let us know it until the ICO is finished, and also I think what really matters in a project is the team behind the project.

There are many ways in which the basis for choosing a bounty is my strategy of taste or taste is to ask bounty or ico admin and I will never forget to look at a bounty that would like to be included if the bounty ico bench I will finish here by the end of my review of a bounty I also look at their project and how much softcap and hardcap to make sure that they reach the softcap that just knows how to think of a bounty that wants if it is difficult to join a bounty that you are not sure about legit or scam because they use a different account to say that their project or bounty is a good one to be careful about joining the bounty.

The most important is the project itself what is it`s purpose. It needs to have a real use case otherwise it is only a fake ICO to scam people. We need to work out our own  set of criteria when selecting projects for investing or bounties in which to participate.

I do agree with the review of this post. We must analyze their good project, raised fund gained, amount of bounty token allocation, total of participants. Additionally, we may also need to know whether the bounty need KYC or now, how long it will last, the team members of the project to avoid scams, and also their clear and up-to-date information on social media and telegram community.

Quality of project and distribution of bounty is one thing i would check on

Somehow distribution can be slow but its acceptable, especially if the bounty tokens is having a massive amount
As far as i know, most bounty hunters just dumped all the tokens and crash the price
whatever it is, they have the right to do anything for the coins they have, after all they only get a few coins so does that really damage the price? if that's true, it should be very easy to recover because the bounty hunter only sells a few coins

Thank you for your valuable. It will definitely useful for me using some of the advices that you are being mentioned here and while choosing the bounty we need to consider some kind of things that to be satisfied ourself so my opinion for all other you said that wants to join in and bounty follow summer the advices mentioned here.

bounty hunter only hold not more than 5% from total supply, and it will not give significant impact to token price i they dump their token.except the investors dont trust anymore to its projects and following sellling their tokens.

It seems to me that today almost all rating sites and all the positive information about certain ico campaigns have little or no importance, since they even analyzed all the available information that is very difficult to choose the most promising project. Now almost more than half of the Bounty company does not bring any profit to the bounty hunters.

YES I agree with you. Arteez still remain one of the best in the space and some many others with good records like Yahoo, BountySuite and many others. But the truth is this days even scam project can actually contact the best Bounty manager to work for them for for Yahoo, I know he gives nothing but the best as I also know that some projects can't even afford to pay him that's to tell you how good he is. Others like; Btcltcdigger, wapinter, Sandra Evans are also trying. For more information check this thread: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5031657.msg45856516#msg45856516

Yes, the Arteezy team is truly professional, and it’s sad that bounty managers can’t influence project developers, in fact they are the same workers as bounty hunters who only get paid much earlier and not always in project tokens.

I am guided by the following criteria:
- I determine how the technology offered by the developer is necessary for a real business.
- I appreciate the team. I draw attention to whether previous projects were successful.
- I read sites like bitcointalk.org and subreddits.
- I estimate the potential of the coin
- And I see how realistic the project plans are.

Firstly you have to look at team behind the project. Secondly you have to check rating on ICO rating sites like ICO Bench.
Also don’t forget to check comments of peoples on projects social platform.

This recent downtrend and also due to the fact that many ico projects ended scam, ico became less passionate. This certainly has an impact to bounty hunters. At this time, being able to choose valid projects will not necessarily provide rewards that are in accordance with the work that has been done. The tokens obtained could be worthless when hunters receive their fees.

I mean Strong Team (Popular, and Expert) and exactly he is a real human and we know his reputation on crypto world also be considered before we join on bounty. Although i agree with the above but that is not enough yardstick to measure the genuineness of an ico, yes, bounty manager may try hard to do proper research on everything regarding a project he/she wants to handle before striking a deal but that is not enough for some project not to screw you over.  It is tough world in ico's.

I think all the points you say are very true. Because for now many ICO projects experience delays and can even fail. They have difficulty raising funds. And this is inseparable from the collapsing market conditions. And for me to choose a project, of course, a project that has a good website appearance, and has a good Team and developer.

One of the most important things about an ICO is the team behind it. They need to be real and offer more than just a profile pic which they can just download off any social media site

Agree. The team is one of the deal breaking factor when it comes to investing and in the potential success of an ICO. The core team should have a proven track record of success in their own industry. To the eyes of potential investors, a showcase of their incredible knowledge and experiences within their field of expertise clearly explicates the purpose of the project. Having such team not only add confidence but also acts as a guarantee that the project isn’t a scam.

For me its better to find a bounty that pays you weekly or monthly of your work because some of the bounties today after the work is done the dev of the project will be quiet and worst they wont give your bounty work just look for bounty managers that has a good record in handling bounties ;)

Before i want to join any Bounty, check their allocation token  and number of their participants. I think a token sale is not effect to their project. Because not all project with success in their token sale will success too when their token listed on exchange.

The things that you say are really needed in choosing a bounty, as are bounty managers. Most people choose the bounty that will be followed based on who the bounty manager is because they don't want to get only a scam. I think there are still many people who choose the project bounty without seeing these things and what you say will really help them.

;D How to choose a project? Choose a good manager who does not let you down. And work on his projects. Choose projects that are not rated according to which they stand for him (after all, ratings can be bought). Try to understand if this project can be useful to the community and whether it is real to create it.

in my opinion the number of participants and allocation tokens does not affect the success of the project because it is a consideration of what you will get at a time.
in my opinion the concept and team are the main things that must be considered because that is what will attract investors to invest in them.

For me, a good bounty is a reasonable bounty allocation and their roadmap works well too. besides that the whitepaper must also be considered. don't forget to check their team and sales tokens that have been obtained from investors.

To choose the best bounty project, I think you need to carefully study the project itself.
Deal with the requirements that you must comply with and most importantly explore the development team.
It makes sure that you are dealing with reliable people who are not deceived you, you can take part in the campaign.

I always skip bounties that don't offer at least a million dollar in value of rewards. Everytime I see anything that offers only $20k or $50k or even less than $100k then it is big NO for me. Because if you think about it, marketing needs a lot of money so if they don't have that then it's going to be much harder to collect funds.

Bounty selection has become very tricky ,just because the project you selected is good doesn't mean you will get paid ,there are many things to be worried about e.g softcap ,hardcap ,investors willing to invest in the project .there are some that will pay the hunters but there won't be demands for the token ,bounty rely on lucks now more than any other thing.

Luck also plays a great part in how a bounty campaign would turn out after listing, you might follow those steps very carefully and upon listing either the price goes down before they distribute to bounty hunters or they might just decide to lock the bounty tokens for months.

Choosing a better bounty is not a difficult tasks, just firstly check project website, then it's team, then whitepaper, and then last ICO ratings. If this all points are ok, then you will get your best project. But sometime despite all this, the bounty goes in vain. So little bit luck also depend!

The scammers nowadays are very keen on introducing more projects that very naked in the eye of public that so smooth we can never guess whether the campaign is hoax or real. They even can sent some photos of blockchain events but sometime these are just grabbed photo and photoshop if youre not careful you can be lured and fooled by this scheme.

With the increasing rate of fraudulent ICOs, choosing a good bounty to participate in is becoming harder. There are quite a number of things I consider while choosing a good bounty.

1 the progress of the ICO: before I partake in any bounty I check to see that they have met at least the softcap of the project

2 the credibility of the bounty managers

3 the integrity of the team

4 the number of participants already participating  in the bounty

I'm always first investigating the manager of the bounty campaign. Then I do a general research about the project. And finally I look at the ICO scores. Especially in a market where there are a lot of paused or canceled projects, we need to do this kind of researchs.

I agree with you to your opinion, So that's why raised funds was very important. And also that project was useless if they haven't funds or money to move forward the project. Money or funds is like a gas to boost or to start a machine. Once they have not money its zero meaning to this world.

There are several ways to look at this. Some experts in bounty hunting prefer to follow the bounty programs managed by a renowned bounty manager who on several occasions has hosted successful bounty programs. But the best way is to do a personal research into the project. There are other promising bounties managed by low profile bounty manager yet becomes successful in the end.

You should take into account several key facts:

  • If the bounty pool is too big there is a chance that it will be cut. And the number of the participants will remain the same. You will get a couple of bucks :)
  • If the bounty manager is doing everything carelessly, there is a chance that you will get less than you deserved or even nothing.
  • If the dates of the bounty campaign are not set and written strictly, it can last potentially forever. Especially if the ICO dates are not set either.
  • If the rules and conditions of bounty tasks are not formulated strictly, they are likely to be very unobvious and can depend on bounty manager's mood, his grandma's health and Moon phase :)

When choosing a bounty, I usually pay attention to such things as:
1. Reputation of the organizers. Famous people should stand behind the campaign.
2. The amount of investment in ICO. The more money raised, the greater the likelihood of success.
3. The number of participants in the bounty company. If too many people took part in the campaign, then everyone will get very small amounts.
4. Feedback on the project. If the project is not mentioned anywhere, it is better to bypass it.
5. Feedback from company representatives.
6. Objectives of the project. They must be real and doable.

Ignore them, you must look at the team is one of the arrangement breaking factor with regards to putting and in the potential achievement of an ICO. The center group should have a demonstrated reputation of achievement in their own industry.
To the eyes of potential crypto specialists, a feature of their mind boggling information and encounters inside their field of aptitude obviously elucidates the motivation behind the task. Having such group include certainty as well as goes about as an assurance that the venture isn't a trick.

There is one thing I find out about choosing better bounties ,the ones that go wrong are mainly running on erc20 blockchain because for scammers its easier to use erc20 smart contract but I like coins that runs on other algorithms like cryptonight ,scrypt ,sha256d ,in the past I have no issue with no getting paid after bounty ends, for example I joined slate bounty which runs on its own blockchain and I got paid ,same other too ,smart contract like erc20 is like scammers haven

I am searching for a great bounty manager and in 90 percent of cases this decision solves all the problems. When you have a trusted manager it almost guarantees that you won't take part in a fraud project.
I would advise you not to rely 100% guarantee on the words of the Bounty manager of the company. To date, even the very authoritative names of managers already have a tarnished reputation.

Indeed all your steps are very good to choosing a better bounty project. For me i check out for the team behind the project, the use case ,the social media handles of the project, i check the white paper, when i am satisfied that the project is worth it, i go in for the bounty but before that i check for the duration and bounty allocation. if i am satisfied, i go all in.

I strongly agree, with point number one, because the appearance of the website also greatly affects the desire to join, that's my main point in choosing a bounty, then the contract in etherscan, and the thing I often see is the roodmap of projects, most of which I examine , many are successful, a natural thing when a bounty hunter researches before joining a project.

i have tried all this yet not able to yield much in this struggle. the quality of the project, the whitepaper, website. the project owners and so on. i believed the current market situation played a big role on the out of some icos. many bounties failed due to not being able to reach hardcap. some never make it to ICO. some sold out there project.
we just have to try our best and do not focus much time on bounties.

My advise for bounty hunters. stay away from bounties that last More than 3 to 4 months. you will earn very little unless the bounty manager decides to limit the number of participants.

I spent over 6 months to see if bounties were worth it. And I can say, 99.9% of them are not. You may find a diamond in the rough but those are increasingly difficult to find. I gave up after 3 months because my time is better spent doing things which have a much higher ROI like day trading.

Work smarter, not harder.

Look for a bounty project that has a large allocation and of course the most important thing is the project is good or not. You can analyze it yourself before participating in the bounty. And also the bounty manager usually affects a little whether the bounty is good or not. The most important thing is that you have to see the project yourself or not. We here only suggest how good the project is or not.

A good project, for now, is very difficult to find. But we must continue to try and choose a good project if in my opinion looking for sales that are already Soft Cap. And you should pay attention to the appearance of the website and then study the Whitepaper. Then join the social media flow, the admin must be very active.

Yes, the points presented are indeed good and will provide convenience in finding potential projects.
With bigger dividends, there are certainly many who are eyeing, surely the participants will be more crowded.

At the moment, I would choose projects that have just collected softcap, as I would still choose a project with a good bounty Manager, as the probability of the bench is very small

Especially a project that has reached Softcap, because it is very important for the continuation of the project to continue to exchange, because most projects currently have failed to achieve Hardcap, so at least Softcap is when I search for Bounty campaigns.

Actually they have also a great bounty manager but sometimes the bounty he/she handle was going to scam in the end. But we cant blame the bounty manger because they are only manage to us and trying to give us some good news from the bounty we participated. So must better to us finding some good bounty campaign.

Factors such as team composition as to legitimacy, background and experience should always be on top list first before believing what was being said about their project and their promises. The idea of the ICO on how its product differ or would compete against other in the market should also be taken into consideration.

You have to study carefully the ICO project itself firstly, before participating in its bounty campaigns. If the project looks shady or not really promising then avoid joining its bounty, because you will waste your time and effort, most likely. In fact, the number of promising ICO projects decreased lastly, unfortunately.

Choosing right project is always tough because in the begining team seems to be very active in answering to the question asked by the community. We have to cross check the accounts of the team members and whether they have  any previous experience in which they want to raise money. We have to watch carefully about their progress and giving more conference by getting more awareness about the project.

This is so freaking true  . almost all bounty ico are seem to be legit at first and you cant just recognize that they are shady . this is the reason why its tough to choose a bounty ico campaign that will last until the end of their designated plans  . we have no choice but to trust our own instincts  because this is a game of trial and error  .

besides considering quality of the product, for now what must be considered is projects have potential partnerships and their activity in participating in blockchain events to promote their projects.

Based on my experience, even a generic or mediocre project can reward you a lot of money before. Sometimes it just really depends on the most hyped project because we know that all of them are just developing projects and will just start after their token sale. But it's really hard to receive those kinds today and only another bull run can bring those days back.

Like someone pinted out already, Number of participants in a bounty always gives a hint to the quality of that related bounty. Obviously the higher the number, the better the boutny and the lower the number will turn to be the other way round. I personally used to look for bounties manually until I was introduced to bountyhive by a friend and I must say that all the bounties that they list and that they offer to bounty hunters are good if not best. Most of the slot gets full within no time of announcing each bounty and the downside is that you have to keep watch so you jump in early to secure yourself a slot. Happy CRYPTOS

Now a days every company is showing very creditable during their ICO, by showing they are very much concern about the community and developments. Most of the community members are showing interest based on the thing do and develop. We need to be very careful with this type of companies by following all their social media channels in order to get more updates about their progress.

I'm always first investigating the manager of the bounty campaign. Then I do a general research about the project. And finally I look at the ICO scores. Especially in a market where there are a lot of paused or canceled projects, we need to do this kind of researchs.
In generally, we know that bounty manager is most important part because reputed and efficient manager very concern about reliable projects. They always try to avoid prohibited SCAM projects. But their managing every projects will not be big success. Only for SCAM projects manager will be responsible.

nice points you rose up, but for me there are a few more important details, like the team, the existance of a working product, the structure of the company, etc... the first and most important thing is to determine if a project is "good"
then, you can check the bounty specifics and see if it is worth to participate (number of participants, pool, rules, etc)
lately i'm focusing mainly on non-ICO bounties and/or "already on exchange"

There are few factors you always need to check while you are participating on bounties.

First check the website of ICO, read the white paper and team details to confirm they are having really that weight or not.
Next who is the bounty manager to confirm that person is really capable to take the all payments of campaigners.
Watch their community growth, if there is continuous growth then getting listed on exchanges will be very much easy for the ICO.
If the ICO's account is tagged you must check and confirm what is reason. If there is fake or scam accusation then you should leave the campaign.

These are the things you need to follow while participating in the campaigns.

Dont consider ?  Did i read it right ?  Or it was only a typo ?  Chosing a good bounty manager that manages the campaign that your about to join is always a good idea because some really good managers will only prefer legit projects compare to a non good bounty managers that will work on any projects as long as they are being paid  .  But at the end of the day we bounty hunters will still do the rest of the research before we finaly decide if we will join the campaign or not  .

Well, it is totally well said. These things are very important to verify legit ICO's project, but for me, If the manager is reputable here in the forum I don't usually have a review. In short, I am relying on managers who manage the project. Once they are reputed member here in the forum they know that it is a risk for them to promote scam project so they have dig research and I think they are knowledgeable on that rather than the bounty hunters.

The success of the project can also be attributed to bounty campaigns and if that is not well manage, the success will be at risk. Factors like these are vital for bounty participants, if they are aware of the list of reputable bounty managers, they need to work under the names in the list, their life would be easier.

But these factors still can't guarantee you a profitable or trustworthy project. Scammers are smarter by time and they will keep improving their ability to make people fall. But indeed, what you mentioned are always important to avoid scammers, at least for now.

The article is quite long. At that time, everything was messing up in 2018 because of ICO and scam. The article will help many people see and observe the project to have an appropriate and effective speculation. However, now I am paying attention to projects with IEO on reputable exchanges.

I think, to choose a good bounty, we must really consider everything. like, what are the benefits of using the project, who is the team, and what their strategies will be suitable if developed, and the roadmap, maybe it can help to see a glimmer of hope. I have never seen an ico rating because everything can be manipulated, sometimes the ico rating is high, but when their sales fail.

In choosing good or better bounty, if the project have a due date period of how long it will run, join to that project.
Then, if the allocation % is at least 200k$ in total in usd, and under by IEO, that's a good criteria to join in it also.
One more thing, if there is a date of IEO listing to their utility token that's much more advantage, grab that campaign.
Then. check the community of the project is huge or not through Telegram, Facebook, and twitter. These are the factors only
to find out if the project campaign are legit or not.

Almost all of the statement of the one who created the topic on this thread was absolutely indeed true and correct.
And for me, the most importance things to choose legit bounty project is that if the legitimacy of the team behind the project are
all true and they are transparent, for sure huge community will support them to succeed their project target. Especially if their
token usages is truly realistic to be use too.

Have same opinion, i think ICO rating sometime can be paid to make positive review about project and make it hyped. So it is better to make analyze by ourself or if we face any problem to analyze, use forum opinion to review a project can be good to do.

I do believe few bounty/project infomation sites can be paid for promoting a specific project. We can't really trust anything in this world, we must do anything by ourselves. If at the end we are still scammed, at least we have done it by ourselves, we just need to improve our ability to avoid scam, so we won't find anyone to blame.

Now, most of the people are choosing the bounty which their token sales will be listed for IEO, crypto people are now matured in choosing the bounties. Based on the experience the get in choosing will make them find out the best bounty campaign because recently we are seeing many companies wants to raise the money through IEO's.

So are you saying that people are now going thru ieo instead of ico ? But thats not the topic all about as the op only talks about ico not ieo  . So far i dont see any ieo bounties  but most bounties that i saw are all came from an ico and that includes airdrops  .  There are still legit bounties/airdrops these days and one indication to know is if the coin is already listed  .

All points highlighted are very genuine. You have stated the major points. Bounty work has never been interesting like before  .Personally, i believe the market situation seems to contribute to the reason why everything getting declined.Additionally there are some fake project that floods market .Any Hunter who participated in such class of Campaign  will find it to be time wasting . From my own point of view , i  feel it is necessary to consider the rating of the Project. In most cases i believe in ICO Bench rating so much and any project that does not meet up to 4 star rating  doesnt meet my own requirement .Another criteria is the Project Team , explore deeply if they have their linkedin profile updated  and do your personal research

Here are the guidelines for us to find out the good bounty projects.

1. Read the whitepaper they have if it is copy or not revise only to other project.
2. Know the allocation budget for bounty campaign, if it is more than 200K$ it is good
    to join in.
3. Nowadays, IEO is very much trending, you just ride with the flow, but of course
you must check if the exchange is belong on top in the market if not even under IEO, don't
participate. But you can still join in the ICO of course.
4. Then, if the bounty manager has a big name here in the forum, this is an advantage actually for the project
    But not mandatory.
5. Check if the community has a volume member to their social media such as Telegram, FB, Twitter, Reddit and more.

Most of the time your pattern should be like this dude,

- If the total supply of their token is Billions then the allocation is percentage average for bounty was 1% then their price is below 0.01$ never join to that bounty.
- If the duration period of their campaign is more than 4 months don't go with it. Then, in the end they will extend it more well I guess you better think of it.
- if their ico is live then it didn't meet at least the softcap target, that's your decision or it depends on you if you will join or not.

therefore, the opposite of this statement of mine of the criteria of the project are good.
Good day.

4 months and extend, actually is something that not really good. Because in that time, we can join some bounty with short duration and pick  a lot of bounty in that time. I think your suggestion need to bumped because  it is good suggestion.

Good to read @op point of view on how to chose better bounty, as much as this looks like the very clear guide to chose good bounty campaign sometimes this is not always the case or not enough to determine a good bounty, just like a member mentioned above concerning distribution date, most times this date are often postponed or changed because according to the campaign rules the team reserve the right to make changes when it's required, so in this case hunter has no other option than to wait.

It is very difficult to choose a good project now, because now many projects end up scam or not getting paid at the end of the project, but we can at least anticipate a scam project by looking at how professional the team is managing, project roadmap and investor interest to invest in the project that is.

I had a bad experienced with bounties before, because I haven't reviewed the project, its development and their white paper, I just jump on it immediately if I think it was a good project and look promising.

However, right now, with all those great tips, and experienced, I learnt my lesson.

Just do not enter to any company. And before you go to it, make a good analysis of the project, and then make a real assessment. And only then decide whether to join the company or better to look for something new.

Even though we choose different thing from the company and different analysis but after listing the coin price is not increasing due to the team is not able to perform them well what they mentioned in the roadmap. As you can see in the team with active developments are making good fortunes in terms of price year after year.

My basis on this things is Having a green trust was an advantage, but not mandatory. Then, check the numbers of their community who support their project through social media sites such as Twitter, Facebook, Reddit, Telegram and Linked, then check the transparency of their team in the project as well also the developer owner too, and the whitepaper must be realistic and attainable.

well for me its not about how many their social media supporters are, cause ive been on a bounty before where thier supporters on social media is huge but the project didnt continue because lack of money raised during the ico.

I refer all bounty participants to participate bounty programs that have a fund raised already because thats the way that the projects goes on.
if the the bounty have finished fund raising then that isnt called a bounty ico anymore and whats the purpose for them creating a bounty when investors cant invest anymore ?  but there are bounties that states that they already reach thier soft cap ,  i think those bounties are have the higher chance to become more succesful  .

Many projects can't follow their roadmap once they don't reach the minimum money
this is true ,. this is why its still not guarantee that they become succesful even though they already finish thier fundraising

Most things has changed now, you can see a good project that have pre-sale and public sale and still not performing well when listed. Some are even struggled to get quality exchange. Most bounty now, does not worth anything in comparison to the work done by the bounty hunters.

it's better, but some campaigns don't pay even though sales reach softcaps.

I am also confused with them.

First of all keep one thing in mind that bounty itself not enough for earning if you considering it as primary source. As no guarantee that project will succeed or even list on exchanges.
Now for chooding right bounty you need to filter projects thinking you are going to invest your money in that (time=money) so do good research on those projects and select best out of them.
one more thing suppose you find 2 projects, one project with great idea and high chance of success but low payout in bounty, 2nd project with high payout but almost shit project. then choose the 1st one because many time i have seen shit projects offer 2-3m usd worth tokens for bounty but if they are not able to list or raise even soft cap then you will have bag of tokens without any real value.

IEO's are the best way, to choose for both the investing and for bounty campaign, recently we are seeing many IEO campaign launching their bounties. So definitely there is a chance for IEO companies to develop their project to the next level. Most of the IEO project are listing their coin in exchanges.

But not if it is a new exchange project. On average they launched the IEO in their own exchange which even needed more development processes. In addition, many projects have canceled the IEO because they have problems with funding and contracts with the exchanges they are aiming for.
So it is safer if bounty participants follow a project that has launched the IEO in the middle stage.  Even though it will get fewer rewards, at least it will also reduce the risk of not being paid or a reward that is a very low value of almost $0.

at present, there is no definite theory in choosing the right bounty project...
even the ico project that has been listed on the exchange can deceive the participants, the best way that I think is safe is to look more into how many participants are taking part and who is the manager. For example now, the ico project from the bounty detective has stolen the attention and I highly recommend it.

No point wasting your time on other aspects of the campaign if the manager can't be trusted.
i agree you will know if the project is legit or paying if the bounty manager is supportive and will help you when you have issue. But still depend of it the ICO is successful. I also joinen bounty campaign if there token are already listed on any exchanges.

1. The bounty manager has a great reputation and experience.
2. Famous bonus organizations, companies or services such as Bountydetective, bountyportal ...
3. Rely on your skills to judge and check the situation.
Of particular note, a good bounty project doesn't mean you get good value for your work! :-\

I find limited participants to be the most important after doing research on the project, even if the project isn't that of high quality the reward you will get will still be fair enough, if a project is high quality and there are over hundreds of participants that participate the reward will surely be lower

Such IEO fundraising will surely failed because the project team decide to use small exchanges that lacks high number of users due to lack of maintaining good reputations, you know what I'm talking about, p2pb2b like exchanges won't bring good results for new projects

Sometimes you will still end up with bad results even if you are good at doing research on bounties, there are other reasons why a bounty fails, what if the team decide not to pay bounty hunters? There are projects like that, they raised huge amount of money through ICO and they failed to pay up, be ready for anything if you are a bounty hunter

I won't trust the judgement of a reputable bounty manager because they can make mistakes themselves, I smelled that emporium finance was a scam project and the bounty manager Hhampuz wasn't able to see it through, some times all you need is your own right mindset
That's right, you absolutely have a great mindset on it. Does not matter how trustworthy a bounty manager it isn't right if we fully rely on her/his judgments only, since there's a chance they would doing mistakes anytimes. But in fact most people here particularly newbies are fully relying upon the judgments of the bounty manager when participating in a campaign not really doing their own research and when it turned out into a scam one they would start to blame their bounty manager, lol.

But in fact most people here particularly newbies are fully relying upon the judgments of the bounty manager when participating in a campaign not really doing their own research and when it turned out into a scam one they would start to blame their bounty manager, lol.
Blaming out bounty manager had been a typical thing not only to those newbies but also into those old bounty hunters when they do get scammed. They do all blame on the ones who had handled that campaign

without even knowing nor try to look that they are just being employed too by the team. The thing here is that when you do stick out on reputable or known managers is that you can at least know that

they had able to do their research towards on the project that they handle. It might not be that precise nor accurate but at least they had done their part and of course as a bounty hunter then you should

do further deep research and just dont easily get hyped nor believing that much no matter how known the manager is.It would be always ending up on your own discretion.

It depends on the quality of the project, I've seen some bounties with low allocation of 0.01% from the token or coin max supply but the tokens end up having high value, an example is PoolZ which gives out 25,000 pieces of tokens and now one token worths 14$, that's 350,000$

Another advantage of bounties with low bounty allocation is they are easily paid out to bounty hunters compared to this bounties that promised to pay high amount of money in tokens after doing ends, they hardly keep their promises or the tokens end up worthless due to giving away too many quantities of the tokens

Choose no choose i see all as luck. Most bounty project after checking all yet its turn to a scam .The bounty you never thought would pay will be the one to pay you after campaigning .Just agree with me that is a luck thing .
Luck cannot be relied on to handle your labor worth. Luck is still good enough to earn good value, though. But in most cases, it takes time to analyze, understand, and diagnose possible symptoms from a project. The more you try to do that, the more you will respect the value of your work, the more you can even help many people in this community avoid the bounty risks.

Somehow nowadays it's quite rare to see old bounty hunters blaming out the manager itself since most of them already the risk when participating in it.

I'm not against it and it can give more confidence for hunters when they want to jump into the campaign, the thing is most of them not doing their own research when they knew that person who bring the campaign is trustworthy enough.

True, but usually project developers will also see for themselves who is eligible to manage their bounty project, and of course they will also not choose a beginner for this, because they also want to see their project progress and succeed through the effect of the bounty launch.
And look for bounties that are accepting limited participant this will make sure that you will receive a good amount of payment for your work in the bounties and its also better to look for bounties that pays eth, btc, xlm trx, doge, xrp and coin that are in the market for a long time

Just make sure the project have good use case, if the project use case isn't good enough it will be hard to raise fund for such project, remember Youengine? They failed to raise even softcap but the project make it that far because the team are rich, they buy back tokens too

Why then a lot of projects use case is "just another exchange" but they manage to raise enormous amount of money? Or the project did not have a demanded use case or havent released a product, or finished or achieved something, but its price grows everyday ?
The fact is bounty hunters don't care what happened to a project after they get paid, use cases is for successful fundraising since that's why many investors invest on projects, either repetitive use cases or not bounty hunters only cares about getting paid

Bounties that accepts limited participants always makes sense if it's not scam project, why? Because the reward will be fair enough for the time and energy you put into the campaign, also look for reputable bounty managers, they bring bounties once in a while
