Title: How to Claim free BCH-SV forked coin and How to Exchange into Bitcoin?
Post by: BitcoinReseller on November 17, 2018, 06:37:42 PM
Because many people still don't know how to claim their free BCHSV (Bitcoin Cash SV fork) which are created by 15 November hard fork. i will write here Step by Step tutorial for how to claim and and what to do with these free coins.

First of all, i will explain what happen after Hard Fork :
- Original Bitcoin Cash coins are called BCHABC because it belongs to ABC blockchain.
- New created blockchain had generated new coin called BCHSV because it belongs to new created blockchain (SV Chain).

Now many users are selling Old or New coins, for myself i've sold new created coin which is BCHSV.
I will explain here Step by Step how to claim and sell your new BCHSV coins and exchange into original BCH (now called BCHABC) or to Bitcoin or any other coin..

this is what i did for my balance, so i will explain with screen-shots how this happens.

i will use empty wallet as example in my explanation.

First Step : Make sure you have BCH SV at fork date

Because till now there is no explorer to see how much exactly you have of BCHSV coins, we will use blockchair and guess how much you could have at fork date.

Visit this page (Blockchair) :

https://1ink.cc/xVle (https://1ink.cc/xVle)

Write your wallet address to see how much bitcoin cash available on it before fork date (15 November).
https://s18.postimg.cc/9c0dybxjt/help1.jpg

click on search, you could see 2 results. one for Bitcoin and other for Bitcoin Cash.

https://i.postimg.cc/KYbSkhZ8/help1.jpg

You should be sure that Last seen receiving is before the date 15 November else your wallet could have no or less BCHSV balance.

in my example :
Last seen receiving: 2018-09-12 07:12
Balance: 0.00000000 BCH

Last seen receiving is 12 /09 it's before the fork date (2018-11-15) so it has SV coins.
but my example wallet appear empty because i'v already withdraw BCH and sold SV coins.

Second Step : Claim Your Bitcoin Cash SV Balance

You will need any bitcoin cash wallet that support the new SV chain, i used Electron wallet to get my SV balance. but you can use any other wallet for bitcoin cash sv.

You can download Electron cash wallet from here :
https://1ink.cc/Z3cMC (https://1ink.cc/Z3cMC)

Open wallet app, it will ask you to create new bitcoin cash wallet and where to save.
you can keep default path and click 'Next'.

https://i.postimg.cc/4dck04NZ/help2.jpg

it will ask again whether to add watch only wallet, or standard wallet and more setting.
You can keep all as default, choose 'Standard wallet' and click 'Next'.
Now will ask again if you had old wallet seed to import or create new one, better to create new wallet.
choose 'Create new seed' and clock on 'Next'

https://i.postimg.cc/d3dCDCsX/help3.jpg
https://i.postimg.cc/tCjZ2YCq/help4.jpg
https://i.postimg.cc/rsdJjz8C/help5.jpg

Now you have to save your 12 words in safe place (better to print out on paper) and it will ask you to enter them for confirmation.
Enter same given 12 words on next screen for confirmation, and your wallet will be created.

https://i.postimg.cc/MGTdH9hF/help6.jpg

Last step is to set a password for new wallet.
enter good password and confirm it, then click on 'Next'.

https://i.postimg.cc/ZqTXcPX8/help7.jpg

You will see your new wallet is empty, with empty history.
You can see History, Send, Receive
in my example there are some transactions are already done before i write this topic.

https://i.postimg.cc/fRFB3cDW/help8.jpg

To import your bitcoin cash SV wallet address and transfer funds into your wallet app, you will need Private Key which is same to original bitcoin cash wallet.

If you don't have private keys for your bitcoin wallet, you should contact your wallet service provider for how to get private key for it.

Now, after getting private key for your BCHSV wallet, which is same to bitcoin cash, you have to sweep/import it into your Electron wallet.

Click on Wallet > Private Keys > Import (or Sweep)

https://i.postimg.cc/P5Jnn86K/help.jpg

Write private key for your wallet, and click on Import.

https://i.postimg.cc/SxfddZLv/help.jpg

If your wallet has many inputs, it may takes some seconds to 1 minute till it complete balance transfer on sweep case.
Elecrton app transfer 100 inputs max per sweep.
if your wallet has more than 100 inputs (as like 400 inputs) you will need to sweep it (same private key) 3 or 4 times to transfer all funds on it.
You will need to wait for payment transaction confirmation for each sweep.

After sweeping wallet, you will get confirmation message with amount that is credited to your wallet app.
Click on Broadcast to confirm it.

https://s18.postimg.cc/oyrnbbli1/help8.jpg

New confirmation with transaction id will appear, press ok.

https://s18.postimg.cc/oyrnbcgd5/help9.jpg

Now you can see new payment is received to your bitcoin cash wallet if you did sweep, or your transactions history if you did import.

https://i.postimg.cc/j2J6VcpP/help.jpg

wait until it gets one confirmation at least on sweep case, and no confirmation wait required for importing address.
now you're able to send it into HitBTC site if you want to exchange it into Bitcoins or BCHABC the original Bitcoin Cash.
but before we do this, we should make sure we are working on SV chain.

Third Step : Switch to SV Blockchain

Now you should switch your wallet into SV chain, to do this you can simply select a different server from the network tab.

https://i.postimg.cc/1t1Y31Yt/help.jpg

here is list of SV chain servers :
https://1ink.cc/KCFJ1 (https://1ink.cc/KCFJ1)

here is document for All Servers detailed with chain type ABC / SV (if needed) :
https://1ink.cc/zv8NM (https://1ink.cc/zv8NM)

in my example, i've used this server for SV chain :
electrumx-sv.1209k.com
you can find it on first link, list of SV chain servers. right click by mouse on it and pick 'Use as server'.

https://i.postimg.cc/cC5H69B0/help.jpg

Wait few seconds till red ball becomes green, now your wallet is connected to SV chain.
If that server doesn't work with you, you can use any other server which belong to SV chain.

Last Step : Exchange Bitcoin Cash SV (BCHSV) into Bitcoin (BTC) or BCH Original (BCHABC)

I used hitbtc.com to sell my bitcoin cash SV and exchange with bitcoins.

you can create account on hitbtc from here :
https://1ink.cc/U1dpw (https://1ink.cc/U1dpw)

Signup, confirm account and click on Account to see your balances and make Bitcoin Cash SV Deposit on HitBTC site.
You can write 'bch' on search box to list all Bitcoin Cash wallets.

https://i.postimg.cc/tJtJwmqs/help.jpg

Copy deposit address for your Bitcoin Cash SV.

https://i.postimg.cc/hjnq64f0/help.jpg

Important : Make sure you are making Bitcoin Cash SV (BCHSV) deposit, not classic bitcoin cash or ABC. else your deposit could be lost.

However, HitBTC recently has same deposit addresses for all Bitcoin Cash types, so if did some mistake with bitcoin cash sending type it will still be credited into your account.

Open Electron wallet again and send new bitcoin cash sv payment into hitbtc.

https://i.postimg.cc/Fs6zqcmg/help.jpg

Wait for your deposit to get confirmed on HitBTC.

https://i.postimg.cc/cH8GvKPZ/help.jpg

You can see when it will be confirmed from Pending Deposits panel on Account page (at hitbtc).
then need 6 confirmations at this time. you can see how much confirmations your deposit gets in this menu (Latest transactions).

After your deposit is confirmed and credited into your Bitcoin Cash SV on hitbtc. you are able to sell them into bitcoins now.

To sell your Bitcoin Cash SV with bitcoins click on Transfer beside your BCHSV balance.
You should move all available BCHSV Main Account (balance) into Trade Account.

https://i.postimg.cc/BngKzbYq/help.jpg

Your BCHSV balance will be moved into Trade account, they are ready now for trading and sell for Bitcoin.
Click on 'BCHSV Bitcoin Cash SV' title to open trade page for your coins.

on trade page, you will fine Buy BCHSV and Sell BCHSV. you're going to use Sell BCHSV panel.

https://i.postimg.cc/SRDB5WM6/help.jpg

enter amount of your available BCHSV at Trade Account, pick price which is suitable for you, and you will see how much it makes in Bitcoin when selling.

Click on 'Sell Limit' and your BCHSV now are converted into Bitcoins.

return back into your 'Account' page. and you'll see your Bitcoins under 'Trade Account'.
move them back into Bitcoin 'Main Account' and you're able now to withdraw your free bitcoins into your bitcoin wallet.

https://i.postimg.cc/TYT3bqxC/help.jpg

Good luck everyone, enjoy your extra coins reward  :D

i'm using blockchain.info wallet, how can i export keys into electron?

1) Download and execute this: https://github.com/iancoleman/bip39/blob/master/bip39-standalone.html (Right click and Save as...)
2) On "BIP39 Mnemonic" space you have to insert the seed of your wallet, the 12 words.
3) You will get the list of your addresses and their private keys.

i suggest you do this while you're offline to stay secured.

any donation is welcome  :D

Thank you very much for your detailed and good narration. I don't have bcash or any others, but I'm sure it'll work for everyone.

I don't like Bcash and other new forks, but the useful topics for the forum are always important to me. Thank you so much.

if you have private keys for BCH you will be able to claim SV.
you choose what to claim by changing network. some are for SV and some are for original ABC. i show in my details how to connect to SV chain to claim it.

if you're using exchange site it's not possible to claim your SV till they give to their users.

Hello everyone,

I notice some people still don't know how to claim their BCHSV (Bitcoin Cash SV fork) which are created by 15 November hard fork and what to do with new generated coins.

I will explain here Step by Step how to claim and sell your new BCHSV coins and exchange into original BCH (now called BCHABC) or to Bitcoin or any other coin..

this is what i did for my balance, so i will explain here how this happens.

i will use empty wallet as example in my explanation.

First Step : Make sure you have BCH SV at fork date

Visit this page (Blockchair) :

https://1inks.cc/xVle (https://1inks.cc/xVle)

You can download Electron cash wallet from here :
https://1inks.cc/Z3cMC (https://1inks.cc/Z3cMC)

Now you should switch your wallet into SV chain, to do this you can simply select a different server from the network tab.

https://i.postimg.cc/1t1Y31Yt/help.jpg

here is list of SV chain servers :
https://1inks.cc/KCFJ1 (https://1inks.cc/KCFJ1)

here is document for All Servers detailed with chain type ABC / SV (if needed) :
https://1inks.cc/zv8NM (https://1inks.cc/zv8NM)

in my example, i've used this server for SV chain :
electrumx-sv.1209k.com
you can find it on first link, list of SV chain servers. right click by mouse on it and pick 'Use as server'.

https://i.postimg.cc/cC5H69B0/help.jpg

Wait few seconds till red ball becomes green, now your wallet is connected to SV chain.
If that server doesn't work with you, you can use any other server which belong to SV chain.

Last Step : Exchange Bitcoin Cash SV (BCHSV) into Bitcoin (BTC) or BCH Original (BCHABC)

I used hitbtc.com to sell my bitcoin cash SV and exchange with bitcoins.

you can create account on hitbtc from here :
https://1inks.cc/U1dpw (https://1inks.cc/U1dpw)

This is a very good and useful article. It's great when someone can explain and help others. I saw this fork and watched the market the week before. And I thought getting my coins was a lot easier.

thank you, any donation is welcome!

mostly all exchange sites give users SV coins equal to their BCH balance.
therefore you can simply sell SV instantly from your exchange site' account.

i'm using blockchain.info wallet, how can i export keys into electron?

1) Download and execute this: https://github.com/iancoleman/bip39/blob/master/bip39-standalone.html (Right click and Save as...)
2) On "BIP39 Mnemonic" space you have to insert the seed of your wallet, the 12 words.
3) You will get the list of your addresses and their private keys.

i suggest you do this while you're offline to stay secured.

any donation is welcome  :D
Is this free? I am not BCH holder. Can I still claim free bch sv?

only if you have BCH you can claim free SV.

if you're old Bitcoin holder you could claim free BCH from here :

Why are you suggesting people sell right way?  The hash war is not over yet and SV may end up more valuable than ABC.  It's better to just keep both coins for now and see how this plays out over the next year or so.  It's impossible to predict these markets so you don't want to keep all your eggs in one basket.  It's always best to hedge your bets.

i write this topic when SV was for $106 now it's for $45.
i don't guess SV will survive and it could drop more to be $25 or even less.

Hi, Iīm absolutely new to this forum. So first: greets from Vienna, Austria!

Maybe a silly question but I canīt figure it out without your help:

I have BCH at atomic wallet and they decided to support only ABC side.
With your guide I can import my privat key in electron-wallet (so I put my privat BCH (ABC) key from atomic-wallet into electron wallet - correct?),
Then I can switch to SV Network and than transfer e.g. to Huobi BCH-SV wallet (they support both: BCH-SV (BSV) and BCH (ABC).

BUT: when I import my privat ABC key from atomic-wallet into electron-wallet what happens with mit BCH in Atomic-Wallet???
It will empty this wallet - or? Or does atomic-Wallet keeps the ABC coins, cause I have only sent SV coins to Huobi??!!

Please for help!!!
Alexander

your ABC coins should stay on your atomic wallet as long as you're connected to SV chain and moving SV coins.
however, if you're sending SV coins into wallet or exchange that support both SV and ABC there will be no problem when moving both coins to new supported platform.

if this tutorial was helpful please support me with any small donation  :D
let me know when you need any further help.

Best of luck!

Hi, that means after I imported key (from atomic ABC wallet) into electron I can send SV Coins from electron (over SV network) to Huobis SV adress and from atomic-wallet I can still send the ABC coins to e.g. my ledger (also supports only ABC)? Did I get you right?

Something is irretating me: I have seen on Huobi, that ABC and SV adress is the same... So would I send from atomic bch to huobi, then they would only arrive on Huobis ABC side, cause atomic is on ABC side - right? Thatīs why I have to do way over electron and SV network - correct?

yes both SV and ABC has same addresses, but each has diff network (blockchain).
that's why if you're sending SV to platform support both SV and ABC (as like Huobi) there will be no problem to send ABC instead of SV by mistake.

but it's very important to choose SV network from electron wallet to work on SV blockchain and send SV coins.

SV price now pumped and got better during last 24 hours, i guess it's good chance to sell it now, it was dropped to $37 but now price is better.

any small donation is welcome!
Best of luck

mostly all exchange sites give users SV coins equal to their BCH balance.
therefore you can simply sell SV instantly from your exchange site' account.

10x for information. Believe this could be good move but will wait little maybe not sell at all. Good is that this is again free and hopefully this will continue to be for many upcoming forks.

Here are the txid's:

Any insight you could give me would be amazing! I'm a noob at this and have never done it before so it's pretty likely I made a mistake.

Wow thanks for this great tutorial, you really stated all necessary details that we need for claiming this free coin.

i write this topic when SV was for $106 now it's for $45.
i don't guess SV will survive and it could drop more to be $25 or even less.
I think the civil war hasn't ended yet and its current price is now $64.

but i don't guess price will stay up for long time. mostly will drop again.
Looks like SV is pumping and I'm looking for the other fork on Coinmarket cap and I just noticed that they merged it with Bitcoin cash so it means to say that

Bitcoin cash SV = Bitcoin SV
Bitcoin cash ABC = Bitcoin Cash

Does this mean that ABC won?

Hi, thanks for the instructions! I tried to go through this process and when I imported my keys into the Electron Cash wallet it sent them to an unknown address.

Here are the txid's:

d49442744aa67f782c796c984916671ee7d10c03d462ed9cfee22865e31eb71f

Any insight you could give me would be amazing! I'm a noob at this and have never done it before so it's pretty likely I made a mistake.

had you received coins into your electron wallet?
which server/ blockchain is used?

No that's the thing, they took a very long time to get just a few confirmations but never showed up in the electron wallet. I imported from my Exodus wallet and it doesn't show a recipient address, which is odd. The only way I can see where it was sent is by looking up the transaction.

I used the default server electroncash.ueo.ch to import. I just went through the available servers again to see if they popped up somewhere else but nothing so far.

I had read on the electron cash faq page that the wallet generates an address that your bch is sent to but I'm not sure what this wallet is that shows up on the blockchain. When I load the transaction in the Electron Cash wallet from the blockchain it shows up but it says the transaction is unrelated to my wallet.

Im not even bother about this bch sv they are all shitcoin. But if you guys really wanted to make money then bch hardfork is a good choice right now. Search it on coin market.

i search and find recently that SV chain is sending same request on ABC chain.
means if you send SV payment, they will send ABC with it. this is bad thing with SV chain. but i guess if you're sending SV to your address you should be able to claim automatically sent ABC while SV and ABC has same addresses.

maybe it was better to move ABC first to another wallet to keep it safe from SV chain.

Visit this page (Blockchair) :

https://1inks.cc/xVle (https://1inks.cc/xVle)

You can download Electron cash wallet from here :
https://1inks.cc/Z3cMC (https://1inks.cc/Z3cMC)

Now you should switch your wallet into SV chain, to do this you can simply select a different server from the network tab.

https://i.postimg.cc/1t1Y31Yt/help.jpg

here is list of SV chain servers :
https://1inks.cc/KCFJ1 (https://1inks.cc/KCFJ1)

here is document for All Servers detailed with chain type ABC / SV (if needed) :
https://1inks.cc/zv8NM (https://1inks.cc/zv8NM)

in my example, i've used this server for SV chain :
electrumx-sv.1209k.com
you can find it on first link, list of SV chain servers. right click by mouse on it and pick 'Use as server'.

https://i.postimg.cc/cC5H69B0/help.jpg

Wait few seconds till red ball becomes green, now your wallet is connected to SV chain.
If that server doesn't work with you, you can use any other server which belong to SV chain.

Last Step : Exchange Bitcoin Cash SV (BCHSV) into Bitcoin (BTC) or BCH Original (BCHABC)

I used hitbtc.com to sell my bitcoin cash SV and exchange with bitcoins.

you can create account on hitbtc from here :
https://1inks.cc/U1dpw (https://1inks.cc/U1dpw)

@Vilime mostly you forget how much you had at fork date.

No, i hold my coins on ABC node client and make sure how much i have until fork. Besides i made backup wallet.dat file update 13-11-2018. I suspect there is many addresses in my node. And my coins mixes among these addresses. Probably i got only main private key for main address. So i tried find SV node where i can put wallet.dat and get all coins. But i found only linux build on github.

As for ElectronCash, it shows last two input transactions and like ignore input transactions i have had half year ago.

try to sweep same address again.
usually it takes 100 inputs per one sweep.

do sweep, wait for confirmation, then do another sweep (new 100 inputs if exists) you could get your remaining coins.

any small donation is welcome.

SCAM WARNING

DO NOT FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS IN THIS POST

VillMe has pasted a link to a scam version of Electron Cash which WILL STEAL YOUR COINS.

We just got an issue on this in our issue tracker here:

I am an Electron Cash dev and I am sick of these scammers pasting fake links.

ADMINS: PLEASE TAKE DOWN THIS SCAMMER'S POST AND LINKS BEFORE MORE PEOPLE GET THEIR BCH STOLEN

Visit this page (Blockchair) :

https://1inks.cc/xVle (https://1inks.cc/xVle)

You can download Electron cash wallet from here :
https://1inks.cc/Z3cMC (https://1inks.cc/Z3cMC)

Now you should switch your wallet into SV chain, to do this you can simply select a different server from the network tab.

https://i.postimg.cc/1t1Y31Yt/help.jpg

here is list of SV chain servers :
https://1inks.cc/KCFJ1 (https://1inks.cc/KCFJ1)

here is document for All Servers detailed with chain type ABC / SV (if needed) :
https://1inks.cc/zv8NM (https://1inks.cc/zv8NM)

in my example, i've used this server for SV chain :
electrumx-sv.1209k.com
you can find it on first link, list of SV chain servers. right click by mouse on it and pick 'Use as server'.

https://i.postimg.cc/cC5H69B0/help.jpg

Wait few seconds till red ball becomes green, now your wallet is connected to SV chain.
If that server doesn't work with you, you can use any other server which belong to SV chain.

Last Step : Exchange Bitcoin Cash SV (BCHSV) into Bitcoin (BTC) or BCH Original (BCHABC)

I used hitbtc.com to sell my bitcoin cash SV and exchange with bitcoins.

you can create account on hitbtc from here :
https://1inks.cc/U1dpw (https://1inks.cc/U1dpw)

Good luck everyone, enjoy your extra coins reward  :D

there was no replay protection. So if you moved SV coins then it's possible your BCH got moved the same way.

i try electron by myself, there is problem with SV blockchain that they move ABC coins within same SV transaction.

this bug should be solved by SV team because they are throwing our ABC coins to stay with SV only.

i guess from wallet you choose which coin you want to deal with depending on node (server) you pickup.

Seeing this bch sv make very huge pump recently made me try to research what would have caused it, it had made around 100% within 48 hours and still pumping. Had thought the delisting effect from Binance and other exchanges would have caused an outright death of the coin.
