Hi guys, I have heard a lot about next Ethereum update 2.0 that brings so many good features to Ethereum platform (POS, shardering..)
But my answer is when we can expect this update? I cant find any exact date. Do you know more informations about that?
Because if Ethereum 2.0 comes, it would be a game changing moment for EOS and other competitors.

Invest in ETH now and wait until then. Will there be swap ETH 1.0 to ETH 2.0 or will it lose all?  :D If ETH 2.0 has a lot of excellent features, I'm sure investing in ETH is probably reasonable, unless they do not swap.  ;D

If the development will be finished in the first chapter of 2019 then I think that if will affect the price on a positive way.

Agree with you . It's very funny to hear that many consider EOS to be a competitor of ETH.

As far as I know, the ETH team does a lot to improve the work of the ETH project and to make a lot of new features. I am sure that sooner or later we will still see something new with you.

I hate when people start comparing EOS to ETH and they are a lot and everywhere, maybe because this is the image EOS developers wants. I am waiting for Ethereum 2.0 since mid-2018 but it is clearly not gonna be launched this year, maybe as you guys say early 2019, but I am sure it will be like fireworks the moment a clear date announced or the actual release and Ethereum price will rocket.

It's high time we had a phase of development on ethereum blockchain. It got to a point that i was wondering, when was the last time there was any development on ethereum and apart from the rumours being peddled around to cause dump in eth price, that might have also resulted to people being able to succeed in dumping its price. Well if the new version comes up, there might be a positive change.

Look at the road map of Ethereum, they should have done this update for a long time, but they are pulling time. I’m not sure what they’ll do this time as well. I really wonder where all the miners will go if there is a POS system. This is a very serious update that can lead to bad consequences.

The ethereum 2.0 update is been called serenity which can solve the scalability of the coin. In 2019-2020 there will be several changes and development upgrades for ETH platform. The first one will be on 16th of January. (Constantinople hard fork at block 7.080.000).

Nobody knows for sure. I think Constantinople hardfork was the first step of this large update, but it got postponed and now we need to wait at least one month for the hardfork and maybe one more year till the general update.

when viewed from yesterday's update which was postponed, I doubt 2.0 will be released soon. maybe there are still a few years to come until the system is ready.

Ethereum developers already announced  ethereum 2.0 and Constantinople hardfork. First time that was postponed to a new date. But they successfully did it on second time. So the hardfork is  already done. Now they work on the phase where they work on scalability issues and transaction issues. And maybe they will changed from POW to POS. But they said that it will take time to establish full POS to work on the platform. But they are working on it.
