Just pay attention to the current bear market and ETH down on the coin exchange to number 3, I think this situation can cause some disappointment for Ethereum users, but I believe that ETH will rise again to that position in a short time. what do you think?

Agree, but it take a long time to recover. When bad markets like this, ethereum can hardly have a strong recovery. We should expect that bitcoin will recover first.

I am not agree here. in a short time its not possible. a lot of Technical analyzer think bitcoin price would be 3200$ stage or more low.if really its happen ethereum price would dump more. so its not easy to raise the price of ethereum soon. Ethereum is a good project there is no doubt but its need a lot of time to recover.As a ethereum holder I would hold my Ethereum for long time.

I'm sure Ethereum will recover but in my opinion Ethereum won't recover in the near future, it might take 1 or 2 years for Ethereum to really fully recovery

The Ethereum price has dropped over 90% since the last ATH, but its potential has not decreased. Developers are constantly working on modernizing. I think the price will skyrocketing right before or just after the upcoming fork.

It will sure rise again even more than expected but no one knows if it's going to be anytime soon or if it's going to take long or forever to gain it's momentum again, it's advisable for all ETH holders to keep it, don't dump it to willing buyers because of it's present value

It is not a big jump so we should buy and hold for long term it is perfectly suitable for anyone. But short term trading and long term trading is hard to predict so I never suggest these kind of activities. All the peoples are expecting a quick profit but reality everyone understands so keep active in any industry we will make success so this pump is not a good move in current scenario.

Current situation of market is very bad and massive selling is happening due current false news spreading from big investors to make there profits this is now happening lot in recent days and most of new people in crypto market get afraid in this situation and start panicking and they sell off in losses.

Many have been already disappointed when it went down to $200 and goes lower.

I believe that ETH isn't just a short time coin, I believe with its long term capacity because of the potential development that it can create for the next years. I think that its use isn't only for ICOs and its not yet done. There's more use for ETH once it is already on staking.

The difference in market capitalization of Ripple and Ethereum is only a little, but I am not sure if ETH need a short term to occupy the second position and overtake Ripple. Investors are a lot compared to Ripple investors, but in recent months Ripple's development in the cryptocurrency market has been very impressive, attracting new investors to invest in Ripple. There were claims its because XRP are going to dominate after BTC, of course it comes from the XRP worshipper, you will find these guys funny every time they raise such issue being the dominant in the coming years. ETH will rise but it comes with great change in the system, maybe POS will help. Somehow people find ICO teams dragging the price down because of course they got their funds from people and they lose nothing if they dump their ETH.

There is no doubt, Ethereum will rise but will not happen this year, the developer is running out time to make some improvement the technology, though they are continuing to exert effort to finish the upgraded version a soon as possible but in due time it's not enough but hopefully 2019 will be the best year for Eth.

I am not surprised if the market has declined and increased, but this year, in my opinion, this is an outrageous market, prices have dropped very low in just a few months, especially Bitcoin and Ethereum. last year the altcoin price was very easy to go up differently from this year, even my favorite coins could be rivaled by Ripple, surely all were surprised by what happened in the crypto market, I can only hope for the bullrun market which is predicted to be at the end of this year.

It is a chance to buy at a cheaper price. Investors prefer that. With it, it could also pump the market of ETH in no time.

Me? I am at a $70 loss but there is no choice but to wait. I dont think it will go back from being a dust but there is larger chance it will go way up to maybe a double again leading to maybe a $30 profit and that will be my cue for escape. ;D

I have always believed that Ethereum has great potential, which is not so notorious thanks to market speculation, I consider that now it is being given a use that is not correct and when they decide to develop more applications in it, that probably is going to help to raise the price and keep it stable.

Well, Ethereum deserves that loss and that bloody graphs.. they never tried to fix the issues of their products, never tried to save the market from the losses and the scams, they deserve that result.
I was an Ethereumer in since past year, but stopped using it since a month or two because "they are going no where'' .. they must fix the issues of their product, Buterin shall stop being proud of the good results of his inventory and start looking for more better results in the future, all we can say is that we hope for some good news..

I still have strong believe that Ethereum will reach the previous level and also overcome it. Its a long downtrend on crypto market so like all altcoin ethereum is also on long bearish movement. But the platform is well developed and enough planned to win the race. Its not possible on short time cause its reached on too low so that its need long time to go up.

I believe that Etherium has every chance to grow. Firstly, it is now going down due to market manipulations and a general bearish mood. This time will pass and we will see growth. Secondly, Etherium has the most developed platform and thanks to it it will stand on the market and after that will make a good jump upwards. This is not the first time we see a fall in the market, this has been the case before and each time the fall was followed by growth. At a minimum, we must believe in it and everything will be fine.

It's really a terrible time for the ethereum at the moment. One will ask if we will ever get pass this present situation and my answer will be faith and believe. I think we have been in this kind of situation before and we get pass it so I believe we can still get pass this if only we can exercise a whole lots of patience for the cryptocurrency market in general but in the main time let's keep investing in the system.

I think it would have a come back when Ethereum releases the much awaited new POS system or the Ethereum 2.0 where Ethereum will be switching from POW to POS. Giving ethereum the boost that it needed to increase the transactions per second that can be handled in the network.

Ethereum will definitely recover. It has been one of the top coins for so long anyways and we cannot take that away! But I am not sure about reclaiming the second spot. Ripple is doing very well despite of the bloodbath. It certainly has become a battle between the two. But personally, ranking doesn't matter much to me. It's the value.

I also think that eth will recover as soon as the whole market is. It's not only eth which is down look at the whole market everything is down and everyone who belong in this market from atleast last 1-2 years know that. But still everyone is saying eth is down it is the end for eth. For many reason eth is down and after sec I think that problem will gone or if institutional investors enter the market. Just wait and calm and don't think it will happen overnight. It will take time but surely not only eth even every good project will rise again.

I can't distinguish what makes ETH the third but I just know market is down this time. This means that the team must do something in order to make people believe again. It is quite surprising how Eth is performing so badly these days. As of now, ethereum is quietly. There is no chance for thise king of altcoin to rise up. In fact, it may go down once other whales sell their ethereum. But probably, there is a cycle. Ethereum will rise soon as the catalyst of bitcoin comes in. We knew that the price of ethereum depends upon bitcoin also.

The recovery might take longer time but as long as its developers are still active in improving ethereum features, the cryptocurrency will surely bounce back. all coins seem to be able to be expensive as long as the price of bitcoin must be able to increase prices first because all the cryptocurrency price movements depend on the price movements of bitcoin, but there is no harm if you buy when prices fall like this.

Disappointed? The entire market is something that can disappoint short term traders and investors but eth, like bitcoin, is a long term coin. It's not a question of whether it will rise again or not. It's when it will rise again. Hopefully eth supporters are prepared to wait.

At this point the ICO space isn't doing all that great so demand for ethereum to enter the market isn't all that great. The foundation should be making some plans to improve Ethereum's infastracture in the near future if possible because some long awaited solution aren't seeing the light of the day in Ethereum and problems like blockchain size, costs and scallability are still plaguing its infrastructure.

my hope is that all of them get back up quickly and immediately, maybe it really takes a long time like the previous year but I really hope it will recover soon even if it doesn't reach a new high

I have a strong faith in Ethereum because we know how potential ETH is going to be. Of course, we have seen many downfalls in ETH price which makes me believe more in ETH. I am still, buying more coins in the market because the market should before it increases.

ETH is still pretty much the 2nd most generally known coin out there, with proven track record and ongoing developments. I don't think ETH price will soon be as high as it was simply because there's much less (interest in) ICO's which imo drove the price way up last bullrun, and for the few good ICO's there are also other platforms now.

But, I do think ETH was oversold and yes if we actually go into a bullrun I do expect it to recover value in sats short to mid-term.

Ethereum's ability to rise from sharp price drop is already proven in the past so I also believe that this coin will eventually go up again. Ethereum have already made some sharp gains a few days before christmas instilling hope for a possible uptrend next year. The ethereum hardfork next year calked constantinople might also help boost its price in the short term. The steady rise in the price of ethereum will also help the price of some ERC20 tokens to go up also in the process.

The market can not move in one direction always. Price can not constantly fall or rise. I think that 2019 will be successful for cryptocurrency. This year we are waiting for some news that can greatly affect the crypto. Of course, ETH will show growth, like other cryptocurrencies.

For ETH itself, now it seems that indeed it seems to be starting to recover, basically not only the fork that would be happen., but it's indeed potentially and closer to many people in ICO projects, investing, trading, even in the gambling world. This is still a very good choice to pick.

Original position of ETH is at number two in the coinmarketcap and it is maintaining from the start but at time XRP cross ETH. It is only crypto currency that can be at the top if ETH developers continues to work hard. In my opinion it will take 5 years for ETH to reach at the top position in the crypto market. Gap between BTC and ETH is almost 52 billion dollars and it is not easy for ETH to cross this gap.

for me there are still are still big players out there who has faith in eth and also more new alts are using ethereum's platform, i have strong feeling that ethereum will not go down that fast.
