We have a lot of bad news and so much FUD lately, the prices of Bitcoin still shows little signs for recovery, some bitcoin miners stop mining and other has gone bankrupt and now is gaining a bad reputation for non-bitcoiners so potential investors are scare. But what can we do? I propose that we make a huge campaign promoting bitcoin everywhere in WhatsApp, telegram, Instagram, snapchat, facebook, emails… Lest spread only the good news and even tell your family, friends, and neighbors that now is a good time to buy bitcoin. Together we can make a positive chain reaction.

i strongly disagree with this. because basically you are saying "price has dropped, lets make it rise again and call that 'great'". bitcoin is not about price and profit. so when its price drops it doesn't mean it stopped being "great"!
it you want to run a campaign advertising bitcoin, that is great. but as long as you are not doing it to make the price go up. and more importantly as long as you are not advertising bitcoin to others as a means to make profit because of its rises.
doing things like this will only increase the volatility and make the rise (the thing you are hoping for) harder. we don't want more speculators running around, we want more real adoption. we want merchants running a full node, a lightning node and accept payments through bitcoin. we want people who see the advantages of using this unique decentralized currency and spend it.

Bitcoin is good because we know that it is the future currency and we can start using it and keeping it with us for future use and i would like to say that bitcoin will great again and now crypto developers have found many solutions for the crypto acceptance world wide.

People associate a price drop in Bitcoin as a "bad" thing, but real Bitcoiners see this as the "Purge" of people that are "bad" for Bitcoin. Since 2017, with the sudden increase in the price, Bitcoin attracted a bunch of speculators that just wanted to make some quick profits and they did more damage than good. <They increased volatility in the price, every time they panicked and sold a bunch of coins>

We need slow growth and a continuous upward momentum in the price, not a sudden price spike with a massive dumping of coins, when something insignificant happens.  ::)

The price is not GREAT, but the technology is. 8)

bitcoin is the future currency and we can start by saving it from now on because bitcoin is now increasingly loved by the people of the world especially the developers have got a lot of solutions in promoting bitcoin everywhere so that this is one of the opportunities for all of us who use bitcoin this.

Actually although we don't do that, bitcoin price will go up again. If what you mean with great is the price. The bitcoin adoption is still growing, which mean actually the demand is increases, but as many big investors sell their bitcoin now then what we see in price chart is down trend. Bitcoin has good fundamental so bitcoin is undervalued now, I also had sold all of my bitcoin but it doesn't mean that I leave this investment world, I only sell to buy bitcoin at lower price. I strongly sure that bitcoin is the best online payment methode and people are need it. It's good chamce for new bitcoin minner, the less number of bitcoin minners that exist then the profit that can be earned will be bigger.

What you're really trying to say is "Let's make Bitcoin expensive again (and profit while doing so)". I have nothing against that sort of mentality, but it's one of the largest contributing factors to Bitcoin's erroneous reputation as a ponzi. It's also true that it's very likely a ridiculous bargain at the moment.

I highly do believe the BTC is a great cryptocurrency and it will become again great. We know how important that coin for us and to the crypto world. BTC is the main currency in here. I do believe one day, BTC will become a legal currency in the world. Especially, the BTC can provide lots of solutions for the future world. So, BTC is a really important thing for all.

Beware, that website is calling certain altcoin(s)/fork(s) to be the real/correct Bitcoin. Those altcoins may indeed not be great, and our business would be to tell the people that all the coins that contain some other words "around" Bitcoin are not the real deal and they are not so great.

I don't see this kind of promotion as the solution that bitcoin will need to rise again. Bitcoin is still great even if the price is dropping. Many people, governments and organisations already know and understand the power that bitcoin can afford them and I know that in due time most them will embrace it. Let's keep hope alive and believe that bitcoin is great and will remain great. Bitcoin is much more than its use as a store of value.

Bitcoin was created with a fairly developed technology, the price dropped is not a big problem. Prices dropped by people like those who panicked and left Bitcoin, without being aware that bitcoin was starting to be adopted and would certainly have a much better value. By not promoting it in time, bitcoin will continue to rise, because this has become the formulation of this technology. I sell bitcoin and I will also buy that bitcoin again.

Over-promotion and spamming social media won't help for gaining more bitcoin supporters.I think it might have the opposite effect,because people aren't that stupid.They can recognise spammers and associate spam with scam.Bitcoin will survive all the FUD.We just have to wait.

You have a good idea and heart to advertise bitcoin. But there's no need for us "to make bitcoin great again". Bitcoin has been good for most of the time if you will study the charts. There's no need for everyone to do this because its already on the mainstream.

Bitcoin needs some improvments.

1) The problem of electricity consumption should be solved.
2) Need new and efficient mining equipment.
3) Scalability problem should be solved.
4) If possible, it should be accepted by more than one state. (Especially USA, China, Russia and strong economies)
5) We need to tell about Bitcoin to everyone. (Awareness increase)
6) All the items on top are something to bring; Acceptance as payment.


We can increase the number of this. We need some good news. So, we can not solve it easily. We need big help from someone. Someones has ability, money and power.

I agree on what pooya87 said. Bitcoin doesn't always have to drastically increase its value to be called great, it should be called great because of how it performs, what I mean is how secure is it, how fast, and how reliable it is to use as a payment system, that's how you call it great, not just because of the value is high. But what you said that spread a good news can also help other people understand what can Bitcoin and other cryptocurrency can give.

As much as we wanted to make 'Bitcoin Great Again', I totally disagree the idea of promoting it to our friends and families because of the risk involved. Let bitcoin takes its natural course because we all know that sooner or later we will see countries adopting it slowly so we don't need to push it that hard. Although the price had taken a significant dip from its all-time-high, it doesn't mean that Bitcoin is not great, this is just part of its growth cycle because the price doesn't go on parabolic rise, most of the time it needed to weed out those weak hands and we are in that cycle currently. Later on once this purge is completed, the price will go on exponential growth.

Don't be positive right now because all of the manipulators inside the market wants you to feel negative and want you to get out of the market. Because once they start to pump the prices they know that you would FOMO back again.

It has dropped in value from $20k all the way to under $4k, but $4k is still a significant increase when compared to a few cents which is something that many people choose to ignore.

Bitcoin has always been great, it was introduced in 2009 and still standing as the cryptocurrency with the highest market cap and volume. If it was not great will it be having this statistics? Bitcoin has always been great. Day by day its greatness is getting stronger and stronger. However, the price of Bitcoin is always moving. Promoting bitcoin might really drive new users but that alone can't make bitcoin better again. Mind that most people in the world right now know what bitcoin is but not all of them are into it and mostly also does not understand how the system works.

I think there's truth in this. I mean, what can people possibly associate with price drop rather than it is bad or negative, especially now when all that's happening in the market is usually dips and decreases in value of most coins. There are so much news about btc that it's hard to remove all bad ones by our postings.
People that know something about crypto will follow trusty portals in order to find the latest news, not mentioning some random posts on social networks.

Instead of focusing more on the bitcoin, promote other that you think are also useful and will also promote bitcoin as major trading pair is btc. This will also create a non-organic pump instead of really making people aware about the whole concept in general for cryptocurrency.

Yea and we all know that, this isn't something new after all, we all know that the social media is like a third power in here, and it can do anything.

And bitcoin has been heavily influentiated by the social media, including the press, and many other sources that pushed the price down and created a huge fud.

For enthusiastic crypto I am sure they will not be disappointed with this incident, because there are still many people I meet in several crypto groups on social media and some communities in real life, they still believe the crypto market is able to recover even though they lose a little on their investments. High awareness will make us stay confident to be here, we can see there are also many people who are disappointed and leave it. That's true, a few days ago I had felt a weakness in the payment system for sending money in two different countries. My friend wanted to send money to me at that time, so they sent money through western union and what happened? it took me a week to wait for the money to arrive at my bank account, honestly that was the thing I was very sorry about. It will be different if my friend sends money through bitcoin, maybe it only takes a few minutes the money can get to my bank account.

I think that there is no need to conduct an additional campaign to popularize Bitcoin in order for it to restore its reputation.
