Which coin do you think would be the best in the long run?

Please recommend the coins.
I don't want to buy for short investment.
There are so many blockchain projects in the world.
What project looks most promising?  :) :)

Major coins, that should be the correct answer but if you can afford to loss your money and you can take a big risk by investing in the medium tier of altcoin but remember about while it gives you a big risk but it will give a huge profit rather than major coins if the price gets increase.

Your decision is right. Long term rather than short term investment is secured and good one. If you ask me to recommend coins that have good future and they will give you good returns. Here are some of the coins that are good. Ripple, ethereum, stellar, cardano, tron, EOS, NEM. Of them, the best are ripple, ethereum and stellar. You can buy ethereum now as it has declined to its lower. It is projected to hit $ 1200 sometime in the year of 2019.

I think all altcoins are good for the long term. especially at this time the price is low. I personally currently hold coins of waves, ethereum, bitcoin, and eos. I plan to hold it long term. This is the altcoin that I think has the greatest potential at the moment.

There are not much of coins for you to choose when you are very long term investor,pick the bitcoin for most of your capital because it is the coin succeeded more than any coin then add add ethereum,NEO,Waves,XMR and the coins which are renowned for long term.

ethereum in my opinion if it is the most potential altcoin for the long term. now ethereum has returned to its best position and this has become one of the things that will probably continue to be the coin of choice for many people.

Just take ANY coin from the top-50 cryptocurrencies on the coinmarketcap and invest in it. And that would be the right decision. Besides you can split your budget and invest in several coins this way diversifying your portfolio. I would do this way if I were you. Personally I invest in dozens of different coins which look promising for me...For example, I like NEM a lot. it's veeeery underestimated at the moment.

Cardano become one of my favorite coins for long-term. the reason, besides being composed of a team that has a high academic level, many functions exist on the cardano platform that have not been widely used and that will be very competitive later.

You must have a target first, when is the right time to sell it, for me personally, I choose Bitcoin and ETH and have a target for the next 2 years I will not sell it, unless I need money suddenly I will sell it.

I believe BNB will become a great altcoin in the future. Its price may rise to $ 100 in 2020 and can pass ETH, Binance is the largest exchange currently available and it has a lot of new ICO recently which helps its price increase rapidly

On the long run i bet on bitcoin, ethereum, waves and litecoin. For me these four projects are the best decision. But everyone certainly has their own favorites, but for me these are the four of them and maybe there will be one or the other coin in the future.

To me, Its Ethereum and litecoin would be in the long run comparing to other alts these coins will be very Interesting as ethereum has gained a huge popularity and litecoin is very oldest in crypto chart. I believe investors will surely give more prior to these two coins when it comes to long run.

I agree with these and would add a few extra ones of my own. I would include EOS in the list because its already started to go up as people realise that it could takeover etherium eventually to replace the erc20 system.

You seem to be new to crypto market im accessing this from your forum rank so i will suggest you to invest in btc and eth only for now because they are less risky and longterm profit potential is high as well. If you try to go into hundreds other coins not only you will get confused but you will also be getting into high risk category so my advise will be btc and eth only.

I still consider myself a newbie despite being around for more than 2 yrs. That's because I don't dare to learn and invest in other alt coins other than Ethereum. I find this market highly risky investing in the top 10 alone.

Bitcoin is the best for the long run. If you already have it think which coins are bringing new features that people can really benefit from. It's not that 10th gambling coin fail coin and it's not another cannabis coin. Privacy coins, smart contract coins, these are the ones you should consider. It can all change when smart contracts are added to bitcoin so first of all buy bitcoin.

Bitcoin would always be number one for sure,
But right now I got my eye on MNX and ESH,
Minex is very active project and ESH is just new ,

Quite promising coin in my opinion is Binans coin. It shows itself well even in a falling market and I have long paid attention to this coin. You can also invest in bitcoin. It is probably the best coin for long-term investment.

At least Top 15 on coinmarketcap is good but I don't like those 2 forks bsv and bch/bchabc. I personally want ETH in the long term it will reach new hights soon. Also I like exchange utility token like in binance because they have high reputation.

Ethereum and bitcoin always the best and you can count on it with your assets. Its confusing many blockchain added to the alts list daily and risky to invest in new alts. But there are alts have cheap price and you can buy if you want so when the time comes either bearish or bullish so you don't have to worry for that small capital or investment you put-up during that time.

I prefer known, big cryptocurrencies than waste my time and money with useless coins. Long term investing requires to understand the market cycles and basic principles of trading but no one wants to take pain side of analysing.

I prefer bitcoin and dominant cryptos due to strong teams behind such top cryptocurrencies. ETH looks like promising if we consider the ERC20 tokens inside this platform. Long term trading is easier than day trading and top 20 cryptos are safe for trading on both time frame.

Stop looking to those coins that you just feel good. Don't depend on that kind of choosing a coin, always prefer those coins that has been so good to the market for a very long time. And the majority has said it should be bitcoin which I agree. Some altcoins that I prefer too, ethereum and litecoin but that's just it. I'd rather hold and focus with bitcoin before some altcoins, I won't put any attention to those altcoins that are too new to my eyes.

I would suggest bitcoin and eth for long-term investments.
Bitcoin as nobody can beat its popularity of usage so the probability of increasing its value is high.
While eth, they have active developers and you can see that they can deliver results, so I can consider that the lifespan of their platform will be longer than most.

It's a perfect coin to be running for a long term. I've been a bitcoin bull and has my investments through it. Holding some altcoins but I'm going all-in to it.

Of course the best coins on Coinmarketcap will be the best choice for long term investment. But you should know that how much money you can get almost depend on how long you can hold. Maybe you think 1 or 2 years are really long but sometime it's not enough for a good coin like BTC or ETH to go to the moon, to find out a really good coin for you, at first you should know how long or how many years you're going to hold.

no one could match him until now so he became the king of coins, and he was the first coin to be launched so he became the oldest and top coin.

since we are in altcoin discussion then highly recommend ethereum which is when it comes long run because when market growth rate gradually gaining strength in the last few days the only coin that have a big average is ETH even in bitcoin . unfortunately i have no proofs but yes im telling the truth because i always monitor the market , and in my view ethereum will surge in the future more than on our expectations when market stabilize .

It depends if you are looking for a coin that will give you the highest return or if you are looking for a coin that will surely go up, but will not give you such return as the first one.

yeah you are right thought about the coin select. because if you select the wrong coin can lost everything. so when you want invest first need to select good coin. my opinion bitcoin is the mother of cryptocurrency. ethereum also same valueable. then i support btc and eth, is good coin for long term investment.
