Post by: thinklab71 on March 12, 2019, 07:04:01 AM
Hello all,

My account is Cellblocks and it was banned some time ago for Suspected users that are abusing merit 3.0
I am sorry I did not fully understand the rules, but I am here to ask for a 2nd chance and I will follow 100% of the rules if you would please give me my account back.

Thank you in advance

So you are already evading ban even after getting banished out of the forum... thanks for bringing yourself to the attention of the authorities. You just earned a ban for this account too

25. If you get banned (temporarily or permanently) and create a new account to continue posting / sending PMs, it's considered ban evasion. The only exception is creating a thread in Meta about your ban.
I have never seen anyone get banned for merit abuse. The abusers just get their accounts negative trusted. I am very sure your case was either plagiarism or spamming.

Are you hiding something. Interesting that your story changed from "his" to "mine" within nearly one year.  ::)

his account was blocked for some reason, he did nothing wrong. He is not able to do anything and he emailed the support on the 1st and still nothing.  He said everyone will be paid, just give it a bit and everyone will be made good.

I will update here when I hear more.

Neither do I. Can we have Veleor to do the check... I can't find any content that was plagiarized.

I think he has plagiarized a content from this websites without mentioning the source.

REGISTERING YOUR ICO IN GIBRALTAR
A new popular destination for ICOs is Gibraltar. Long have small nations or islands been centers for gambling, online poker, or offshore banking. The government of Gibraltar attempted to cash in on the ICO mania and attract prospective crypto teams with a recent statement. Gibraltar’s regulatory body distinguished between coins that are securities, and others that are not. The distinction is often driven by whether a token has in-app functionality, or some other practicality, as opposed to being a pure investment.

Gibraltar’s ability to recognize this is a good sign that it’ll be a friendly place for teams to work. As well, the nation is a tax haven. Many governments haven’t yet recognized that distinction, instead indiscriminately banning all ICOS. This gives Gibraltar a leg up when teams are looking around for somewhere to set up shop.

This could be a decent reason for getting banned for parallelism.

Well, it does happen. Check this out:

Dear BTT community,

My profile steve_rogers https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=1791093 was banned.
Firstly I thought that this issue is connected with hacking my mail, because ban and hacking of my mail were more or less at the same time!

But, as it turned out, I was banned for abusing merit system!!! This statement is ridiculous, because I have never bought or sold merits, I do not have an excess to the accounts that I gave(or from whom I received merits).

Here is the letter that I have received.

Hi,

Unfortunately, screenshots are not relevant in the recovery process as they could be easily tampered with.

The account was banned for abusing the merit system well before the date you claim your email was hacked.

The account will remain banned. Thank you for your understanding!

Best regards,
Bitcointalk account recovery team

So, my point is, please prove that I have been abusing merit system! Also, as far as I remember theymos said that he do not even care about it, some DT users could only put you red trust, and that's it.

So, please, unban my account, or prove that I have been pumping my accounts or selling merits, or smth else.

Also, I wanna state that I am an authour of the topic (merit give away) that helps develop and full fill our forum with usefull info in russian sector. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=3251187.msg33860081#msg33860081
Which proves that after gaining some exprience in this community, I've decided to make a contribution and I've been wasting my spare time to help the community.

Thank you in advance!

If you read the whole thread, it was pointed out that the member has plagiarized some content. Have a look at it for yourself; https://bpip.org/profile.aspx?p=steve_rogers
Let's assume he was banned for merit abuse, does that seem like merit abuse to you?
I have seen far worse merit abuse scenarios here, and they haven't been banned let alone getting tagged.

It was probably just a mix up in the email.

cellblocks (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=1492156)

You are implementing an airdrop campaign, instead US prison inmates, and you run off the project does not distribute coins to participants.
That's what you are banned at once deceiving.
Posts from your participants, telegram and your project run.

Topic: [ANN] Official CellBlocks Twitter Bounty 10ETH (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=3000487.msg30853737#msg30853737)

Hello, I asked for bounty payment on Cellblock telegram on april27.
I don't like the answer, I'm not sure we'll receive payment. :(

Here's what we talked, just in order to share information :

ME : Hello. When payment of 10 Eth Bounty? It should have been paid when softcap reached...

ADMIN JONAS B: We have paused the ICO for now. We will restart it soon.

ME : That's not fair with Bounty hunters. ICO wasn't stopped when softcap reached.

ADMIN JONAS B: Really?  all you did was retweet some post, is it really unfair to you?   The we returned the funds to people who wanted it returned.  We will re launch the ICO soon and not all asked for refunds, they wanted the extra tokens, so with that said, we are below our softcap now.

You have right, this is hopeless.I was there in telegramchat as someone asked whats about bounty rewards. He stated that all this was not fair for bounty hunters, waste of time ,work for nothing. And Admin said "why this should be unfair, you have just doing some tasks, some retweeting"
Well, thats says everything how CEO and Admin is thinking about Bounty Hunters and their job.

The project died? The airdrop ended and the coins were not given away.

We want our payments in bitcoin Sir.You had promised to pay with btc.Nearly 25 days passed,we are waiting for 25 days to get single week payment.Again you are saying ,going to pay with tokens. We want our btc.

You repeat the old history of wanting to (cheat) people again: @thinklab71 (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=965346) this is what you posted: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2836328.msg32644673#msg32644673

And this old post is banned from your account: @cellblocks

Will prisoners need access to smart devices in order to use CellBlocks? I'm interested in learning how it works on the prisoner side.

No they will use a kiosk based system like this one https://i.imgur.com/C9FHwVU.jpg where they can login to their desktop account and there will be their wallet to use.

What merit abuse, you had 0 merit!

You are implementing an airdrop campaign, instead US prison inmates,

I must say that although I did merit you, my first thought when I read that was...what the hell are you smoking with inmates?
But I doubt he was banned for scamming, people don't get banned for that.

My account is Cellblocks and it was banned some time ago for Suspected users that are abusing merit 3.0

I think is even worse:

So the bounty person who was running it for us, ran off with our BTC we had for the advertising project.   We have launched a quick sale of 5MM tokens outside of the ICO so we can raise funds to pay our people in all the bounties and advertisers.  We should have this done by Wednesday.

Our deepest apologies

So he is trying to get back his own account that ran off with the payments and scammed all bounty users?
WTF is going on here?

Out of curiosity, are you also this (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=1791093) guy?

Both of you are claiming to be banned for “merit abuse” even though this is not against the rules, however you don’t have any merit to abuse.

No I have no idea who is that user.  My account was banned before I could get on to reply and stop the contest.  I am just trying to get the account back and I did not have any merit to use
