Title: [ANN] RhomBit [RHOM] Great APR% *FREE* Bitcointalk Member Initial Distribution
Post by: Almako on April 02, 2019, 11:36:46 AM

RhomBit Digital Currency
Run by a public ledger known as a blockchain, all transactions must be reviewed and fully approved by equal-level nodes to be considered valid, any transactions deemed malicious, invalid, or otherwise not acceptable, are automatically rejected by peers who are constantly verifying the accuracy and legitimacy of the ledger in real-time through active running nodes.
The rules can not be broken, Any node found behaving poorly is banned from connecting for a short time in case it is a valid reason for invalid blocks.

Coin Specs
All information for RhomBit is freely available by reviewing the source code, The standard specs are as follows:

Algorithm: SHA-256
Total Coins = Continuous
PoW:
0.1 coin - Until Block 10080
0.5 coin - Until Block 20160
1 coin - Until Block 30240
1.5 coin - Until Block 40320
2 coin - Until Block 50400
1.5 coin - Until Block 60480
1 coin - Until Block 70560
0.5 coin - Until Block 80640
0.1 coin - Block 80641+

PoS:
10,000% APR - Until Block 10080
5,000% APR - Until Block 20160
2,500% APR - Until Block 30240
1,250% APR - Until Block 40320
625% APR - Until Block 50400
312.5% APR - Until Block 60480
156% APR - Until Block 70560
124% APR - Until Block 80640
100% APR - Block 80641+

Proof-of-Stake
New coins are generated by holding them in the wallet, Users are paid for the amount of stake they have claimed in the network.

Proof-of-Work
PoW rewards Hardware Miners a specific amount of coins to secure the network while in a percentage with the staking rewards emissions.

60 Block Maturity
Newly generated coins via Mining + Minting will be available after 60 blocks have passed since the new transaction was created.

2 Hours for Deposit -> Stake Eligible
Users must wait 2 Hours without moving an input to be eligible to start earning stake and increasing balance naturally.

Unique Stake Reward System
RhomBit uses an uncommon staking system compared to the majority of other Altcoins.

Stake Rate Decreasing Weekly 10,000% APR to a Fixed 100%
The Minting rate is decided by the emissions schedule, Each input will receive a unique stake rate calculated at the time of coin generation.

Staking Parameters
RhomBit uses a custom emission system, By having both PoW + PoS working concurrently, RHOM supports a very attractive inflation model for both early and late investors.

Minimum Coin Age Required
This is the coin age required to stake, If you have held a balance in your wallet for a minimum of 2 Hours you start gaining coin weight, after Minting it is recommended to recombine inputs to have the Highest Priority for the next stake.
To lock wallet from staking, there are several options: reservebalance, Rhombit.conf use staking=0, encrypt and lock with a password or as a last resort, close the wallet.

Maximum Coin Age
The maximum coin age to stake increases indefinitely since its value is set to infinite.

Inflation Model
The high APR reward halves every 1 week (.estimated) finalization at Block 80,541, the Yearly Stake APR will reduce to a fixed 100% to help curb inflation.

Interactive Games
"Coming Soon" Hopefully with community involvement there will be a few functioning games that allows users to bet with RHOM as currency.

MultiPool
"Coming Soon" MultiPools are a great way to increase your Altcoin holdings, Most currently offer ports for SHA256, Scrypt, x11 + Select CPU/GPU Algorithms, MultiPools scan active market prices, difficulty, and hashrate of popular altcoins and mines the most profitable coin at the moment, By using the Bitcoin gained by mining and selling these coins, users are paid out solely in their selected Altcoin (RHOM If Enabled), which are bought off the open market and aim to increase long-term upward buying pressure.

Here is an excerpt of the code for Proof of Work + Proof of Stake Rewards Emissions

Ideally we will be looking at getting onto a single exchange at the start for trading RHOM, though most likely after the Initial Distribution for Bitcointalk Members has occurred, after that we shall commence our endeavors for future listings on alternative exchanges.

I guess I'll mine and hopefully stake a bit because that's the only way I can get these coins for now, attractive APR though which has tickled my fancy.

A block explorer where you can search addresses, see the Top 100 list + visual distribution graphs is in the works, it shouldn't be too long before it is up and usable.

anyone who creates a new coin has to keep one thing in mind:
it is good that you answer the direct questions or else you should be quiet.
you start to make coins without knowing how to present a project so better stop because the electricity of today is too expensive to play ....

You can see how it plays out although I have high confidence that there will be no forks of any sort due to the APR.

There is still many Legendary, Hero + Sr. Member *FREE* claim positions left.

Also in regards to staking, if you are mining and have many 0.1 coin reward inputs you must recombine them to a single input so you have a higher chance of staking otherwise you will be waiting a very long time for a mint, initial distribution claims shouldn't have that problem due to having whole number balances.

Been long time that I've seen a project giving free coins to higher rank members.
And he doesn't have much coins as the initial block has only 12500 coins.
Is this right dev? So it means you are just giving those coins to the users here?

Yes that is right, the more users who claim the better for initial distribution.

There is not much staking going on by the looks of it from the makeshift block explorers that are available, I reckon it's probably due to not many people having their wallets open or have yet to get their free coins.

A normal Block Explorer would be quite nice instead of having to sift through pages & txid's

I agree with that. Regular block explorer would be great. But since he's building up this project, let's give him the chance to organize things. I just hope this won't die anytime soon.

Staking is working great for me. Thank you dev.

Sure I'll stake these. People, compile your own wallet or use a VM. Just in case.
By vm you mean virtual machine?
i checked virustotal and it seems good. Why u doubt?

In general, great promises come with hidden motives. So to be safe, compile your own wallet. But many people don't know yet how to do that. So they are relying from the dev's wallets. But if the results of virustotal is good, then you are good to go. Unluckily, I'm not included in the free distribution.  :(

Hello,

how many coins do you need the minimum to stake ... have 0.25 which are older than 2 days and he still does not stakt (not staking .... mature coins)
But have always 0.01 deposits ... has this possibly something to say?

I have 20 RHOM and never hit a stake in the last 3 days, So if you only have 0.25 RHOM the it will probably take a long time or you will never hit a stake with that amount.

Why not.... if it's free then it can't hurt :D

Actually yes it can hurt cos you end up selling that free coin to another gullible fellow who ends up taking the loss. So, because its free to you does not mean someone else don't end up suffering for it. Anyway, watching to see how this progress but just had to note that your statement is wrong on so many level

You place them inside your RhomBit.conf file on linux systems, it should be located in the .RhomBit folder (Use ctrl-h to view hidden folders)

The Premine for the Giveaway is not staking, if it is turned on you will see PoS blocks flying past one after the other on the Blockchain, it is using staking=0 in the .conf to Disable Staking while distribution occurs.

Are you trying to run a Yiimp mining pool ? If so, you need to stop the Rhombit server. Use "RhomBitd -datadir=/home/crypto-data/wallets/.RhomBit -conf=RhomBit.conf stop" at prompt, (no quotes) then restart with "RhomBitd -datadir=/home/crypto-data/wallets/.RhomBit -conf=RhomBit.conf -daemon -shrinkdebugfile" (no quotes again). Should be good after a few minutes.

Got coins and got my first stake.
And now have question:

after Minting it is recommended to recombine inputs to have the Highest Priority for the next stake
How can this we do?

Hello,

But have always 0.01 deposits ... has this possibly something to say?

I have 20 RHOM and never hit a stake in the last 3 days, So if you only have 0.25 RHOM the it will probably take a long time or you will never hit a stake with that amount.

Hello,

I'm not interested in getting interest but in the arrow that would have to be green if the coins are ripe .... is still with me "Not staking because you don`t have mature coins" and the arrow is still gray though the amounts are already older than a few days

This is the easiest way to explain & use coin control, works for all Proof of Stake coins: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HUw2NkRpI-A

Enable coin control on your wallet and send the split coins to the same wallet address to recombined them,
Coin split happens every time you hit a stake block so every time you hit a stake you need to recombined them once again.

What is the main goal of this coin to the crypto community? Lucky for those who got freebies but for those who don't, what's in store for them to buy this coin once it hit in the exchange? Just looking for a valid reason why you should buy this coin if it will be listed.

Can anyone help / advise? where should I put this peer settings for linux wallet. What file is responsible for keeping this info?

You place them inside your RhomBit.conf file on linux systems, it should be located in the .RhomBit folder (Use ctrl-h to view hidden folders)

Thanks mate!!! for promt help. But inside of this file I've put already the data fm my privat pool such as:

rpcuser=yiimprpc
rpcpassword=fuBg5PsmBC8qGTeNtvAjQ
rpcport=14260
rpcthreads=8
rpcallowip=127.0.0.1

blocknotify=/var/stratum/blocknotify 213.183.60.160:3333 1426 %s

Should I write any comments there for nodes or just paste under that settings??????

No Worries, just paste the node list underneath gen=0

So I did it as per your advise, restart daemon,  but still nothing happened. So now it looks like:

Any Ideas? What is wrong?

Are you trying to run a Yiimp mining pool ? If so, you need to stop the Rhombit server. Use "RhomBitd -datadir=/home/crypto-data/wallets/.RhomBit -conf=RhomBit.conf stop" at prompt, (no quotes) then restart with "RhomBitd -datadir=/home/crypto-data/wallets/.RhomBit -conf=RhomBit.conf -daemon -shrinkdebugfile" (no quotes again). Should be good after a few minutes.

Bro!!!! This is awesome help. Thank you so much. After this command? everything is working fine.  Thanks everyone for help.

P.S.

Yes I'm running Yiimp Pool.

The staking module of this coin does indeed look attractive, the only thing though for newer users is the distribution... we noobs all have to wait to mine enough to start staking, buy from another user under the table or wait for an exchange listing.

Will there be any additional airdrops or giveaways on Twitter or Discord for us non long-term members or people not part of these forums that interact on other platforms ?

Also what direction is this coin planning on heading in ?

I do see mention of games and multiplools (to buy back coins from the open market), with a limited initial supply and decreasing stake rate you could have a prime mover here for the gambling scene.

I will be watching to see how this goes, good luck.

Switching things up a little ! Airdropping 3 RHOM coins each to the first 50 users who post their RHOM address in the Discord Channel

Will you do more airdrops to discord ?
I missed out because I didn't see this project until late :(
If you want games for the coin then crex24 exchange now offers blackjack and dice to play built into the exchange so if you get listed there eventually you will have those added abilities for users of your coin.

Make sure you recombine your inputs (Total Balance) to 1x single input every time you mint coins to keep the priority high + accrue compounding interest, inputs are split every time you mint coins.

Exchanges
"Coming Soon" Allows trading of RHOM.

Block Explorers

Hello,

how many coins do you need the minimum to stake ... have 0.25 which are older than 2 days and he still does not stakt (not staking .... mature coins)
But have always 0.01 deposits ... has this possibly something to say?

I have 20 RHOM and never hit a stake in the last 3 days, So if you only have 0.25 RHOM the it will probably take a long time or you will never hit a stake with that amount.

Hello,

I'm not interested in getting interest but in the arrow that would have to be green if the coins are ripe .... is still with me "Not staking because you don`t have mature coins" and the arrow is still gray though the amounts are already older than a few days

Hello. Thanks Dev.
Got coins and got my first stake.
And now have question:
Quote
after Minting it is recommended to recombine inputs to have the Highest Priority for the next stake
How can this we do?

This is the easiest way to explain & use coin control, works for all Proof of Stake coins: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HUw2NkRpI-A

Did everything as indicated in the video, but "Not staking because you don`t have mature coins" I can't understand why ???

2 Hours is the minimum stake age but even you have mature coins its hard to stake and the current estimated time to hit a stake is far from reality..

I am running my wallet on a VPS for 6 days straight now and i have no clue why i never hit a single stake for those time.

Sounds like you guys needs more coins in your input compared to what is out there staking, the block explorers show there is regular staking happening but a lot more pow blocks.

Exactly at this moment the team should make a correction.
The problem with such raw projects is that everything seems to be working but no working calculator.
As a result, large investors can get less than small. That is, random here is of great importance, which is not very good  :-\

Yes, min 2 hours needed to mature coins.

For 90 coins in wallet, I get 1 stake per day.
But network difficulty constantly growth.

I've been staking 1x - 2x daily, I started off with an initial 40 coins, also never trust the estimated stake timer in coin wallets as they are always incorrect, just like the Green staking icon bugs out sometimes and doesn't light up but it still shows you have mature coins waiting to stake with a weight against the network weight if you hover your mouse over it.

The reason why the estimated time to stake is taking so long is due to the low rewards being given out and Proof of Work miners recombining those mined coins and staking which increases network stake weight.

Basically in laymen terms, the more coins you have "per input" the more chances you will hit a Mint Stake regularly.

2 hours is the minimum time for your coins to stay in the wallet and not move for them to start earning stake weight, users who are trying to stake non-whole decimal values of coins will not even reach the minimum threshold to start gaining weight unless recombined into a single bigger input.

e.g: Instead of 100x 0.5 coin inputs it is much more efficient to recombine those 100x 0.5 inputs into 1 single input of 50 coins.

Yeah, i always check on the console for network weight and estimated time to stake, But i manage to hit a stake yesterday with a good reasonable amount, almost double on what i currently have and right now i am running my wallet once again to see how my current inputs of 5 RHOM each will plays out

I have mined a decent amount myself but when it stakes oooh eeeeee it rewards great.

Staking works nice.
But the bug in wallet with grey staking button must to be fixed.

Thanks for the additional coins Dev! Didn't expect that.
Also, when are we going to expect your interactive games?
As you mentioned, it is like a betting platform where we can use our RHOM coins, right?
At least, one thing to look forward to...

Game betting with RHOM would sure be interesting, considering the mining and staking stages decrease to acompany inflation control RHOM will be hard to get in the near future, so when you bet/gamble you will have better odds of winning something than trying to mine or stake so little.

Looking the treats here with those staking APR rates, it is good that miners can still earn something that isn't too over the top, I like the inflation control that has been proposed.

Any plan on a website at all to get the jist of RHOM or is one even needed ?

How long before most of the coins that are being distributed to Bitcointalk members are fully sent out & depleted ?

The decreasing mining rewards schedule looks like it will help keep the coins inflation low, let's just hope.

Discord is dead, lack of communication from the dev team. It was just a pure airdrop and many abusers rape the system and most of them are own by a single group of people.

If ever this coin got listed, it will not got further in terms of price, The amount of people that will dump for peanut amount will surely bring the coin price to 1/100 sub sats price

if so, the price will be even more destroyed. dev must take action so investors can be interested. this will be a coin die if there is no seriousness of the DEV.

Maybe something bad happened to the dev ? After all they haven't logged on since just before Easter time, hopefully all is well but if the dev doesn't come back what should we do ?
Community takeover/rebrand ?

No need for community takeover/rebrand, just let it go. I'm still staking my coin but no expectations here. I thought there's something different from this project. I wonder what's the main motivation of the dev why he introduced this project and not follow through what he started?

The discord is pretty much abandon and only few people talking about the project, Soon discord channel will become a haven for spammers and invite links in other discord groups.

I suggest hold on in mining this coin until the dev comesback and resume working on his project.

There chances of dev returning to resume working on project is next to nothing. He just disappear without a word.

There are many scenario people are speculating on the dev disappearance and the only thing matter's now, No people or users lost their money on this coin project and we only lost a few minutes of our time in sending our wallet address via PM to the OP.

People are still clinging for tiniest hope that the dev will once again return due to the recent BTC price rally and wishing the dev continue working on the project, Looks like multiple accounts are mostly affected since their hardwork will not pay off..

This project seems dead already as the dev has not showed up for about a month already.
I guess we need to move on from this abandoned project.

Still no exchange for this coin... is there a community still here to support it if it was to get listed ?

What can RhomBit bring to the table in regards to use compared to "other" Altcoins ?

Personally I really am hankering for some blockchain integrated games, can RHOM pull it off or is it yet another bang to bust... ?
