Do not use Coinbase! They have extremely poor service and will not support you if you ever encounter issues logging in. Instead, they will write a generic response to your ticket and immediately close it. If any major bank tried to pull this they would get buried in lawsuits.

Again, avoid this service at all costs. Forget their greedy 5% fees on deposits/withdrawals - it doesn't even matter if you can't get your BTC or USD back period. That's a 100% fee.

Can you give us more information on what your issue was specifically? What issues did you have with logging in?

In my view it is one of the leading service render in the crypto ecosystem. Issues arise with each and every cryptocurrency exchange, and the support team helps in rectifying the same, here also it might have got little delayed. Another thing with every support request we the users are supposed to close the ticket once the issue is sought, here Op has stated that the support ticket is closed with a generic response by the support team which seems contradicting.

I never use Coinbase since the first time I knew cryptocurrency, but I have an account in that site. It will be great if you can tell us the problem or the details you get with Coinbase so we can help you or give a solution.

Although I'm not coinbase user but I think they are still one of the most reputable availabe exchanges in this world. Support issue is a common thing imho, you need to be patient once you are facing an issue and waiting for support answer. Issues are solved first come first serve, so maybe you are in queue. What is your main issue though? Login? What kind of login issue?

I faced similar issues, but eventually got my issue resolved after several emails to their support team who did take their own sweet time to resolve it. Don't give up so easily op. You can also contact them via phone:

Coinbase support not responding to you tickets or responding late doesn't mean they're fraudsters. The exchange is just too popular and the rate of recent newly registered customers and complains are just increasing rapidly. Maybe the first respond to the support ticket are just automated messages and maybe they close issue that aren't that important, issue that can be resolved by reading their FAQ so there'll be more room to solved other critical issues. You don't have to discourage people from using the exchange just because you had few set backs. I'm very sure coinbase won't went to destroy the reputation they have built for themselves over the years just for few bucks. I did use the exchange before and I must say it's far safer than most exchange in the crypto-ecosystem.

Not sure if OP is talking about coinbase wallet. I don't see any problem with it. If you chat with support bot then obviously it will give you generic reply with basic information. I have not face any problems so I have not bothered to use support. But wallet service is fine for me. Even they closed your account they are giving opportunity to withdraw your fund first. Without complete withdrawal your all coin they will not closed any account. Also I have not face any problems during login. It would be better if OP add more details, so we can see what kind of problems are you facing. And I have not use their exchange so I don't know about exchange support. Please try to describe more clearly.

Ahh, the classic Coinbase doing their thing again. Their service, for me, is actually quite good if you spare the few hiccups and delays their platform has from time to time. Their biggest boon would have to be their customer service responses as they take days or even weeks to have a human agent address your query, even for the simplest of things or the most urgent of matters. Move platform if you wanted to, but yeah, most exchanges have this as a major problem.

I can't seem to agree on one person only while I'm hearing good feed back from more people that this exchange is legit.

I only use the wallet of coinbase because this is one of the safest and most convenient wallet at this time. Each transaction is handled very quickly and the low cost is the main reason I believe in coinbase. In fact, coinbase has a great reputation in many countries and I have not encountered any problems when transfer. If you encounter problems that are difficult to solve, ask them for immediate support because they will never abandon you even a small mistake.

Ive used coinbase one time but  i dont feel secure using this wallet for my bitcoins so i transfer to xapo,this past few years ive heard both good and bad news on coinbase.Maybe you just hit a bad time contacting the support just try it again and be calm

Coinbase is a well reputed exchange, if you are experiencing a bad quality of response from their support it is better if you will have a patience sending your concern, you were not only the users of coinbase therefore there were lots of issue they are encountering that they need to settle each day together yours. Maybe it is better if you open up your experience here and not influence people with just your bad experience.

You should probably just go with the more generic "Do not use centralized exchanges." That is more catchy in my opinion, because we've seen the biggest exchanges disappear time and time again. In my opinion, your issue is one of the more innocent problems that exchanges are outputting. It sounds like you're just having trouble logging-in, which normally is caused by user-error, but they offer many options for recovery.

I've used Coinbase in the past, and I know a few reputable members that use it regularly. It doesn't send off any red-flags that would make it particularly worse than any other exchange, but I do agree with the general sentiment that you shouldn't be storing your coins there.

Coinbase already become a well-known exchanges/online wallet since early year adoption of bitcoin when you only have a 'few' option to store your wallet/address online.

When there is investment fund on any exchanges are wallet you must keep it safe with 2FA and SMS auth if possible. Apart from that you may choose the wallet with the private key secured to keep it safe.

This is because most of the users who doesn't have the means to earn BTC are buying BTC and cryptocurrencies through coinbase, its just the best way to  buy coins and all other coins listed on coinbase thru the cards. I introduced my cousin to coinbase because he want to invest and its coinbase made it easy.

Yeah, coinbase support problems have been known for a while, thank god I am not living in a place they serve so I have no reason to use them.

If you search online on how bad their support is you will see that there were people with thousands of coins (the highest I have seen was someone with 34 thousand dollars) not getting any response from coinbase until he started a topic online and get attention and after he got that attention coinbase suddenly resolved their problems. That is why if you do not have like a big number of followers you have about two options in coinbase, either say goodbye to your money and think of it as lost money because coinbase works like that and really doesn't care about their customer service or you have to keep pestering them with tickets after tickets until they give out which many people do.

All, I repeat, all exchanges have Customer Service problems. All give as a first response something generic and standardized. This is not an indication that you should not use the services of this exchange. If so, you will never buy Bitcoins using an exchange.

Go to the OTC or P2P market.

I sometimes do not understand why so many people use this exchange, there are many better exchanges today. I think coinbase is the first exchange that publishes user data publicly, working closely with regulators. So get away from this exchange

I'm using their wallet but not on buying on crypto that they do offer.About on your issue if they do close out your ticket without even tending to solve out
your issue then its too unprofessional but as I advice you should open another one and address it once again until they would take and resolve it.
Just give them sometime yet coinbase is being known on currently one of the biggest and reputable company as of this moment.

I'd say to the OP that go and reach to them as early so that your problem will be resolved, no need to accused as there might be reasons on their end. If by any chance you get your money, then look for other exchanges more reputable like Binance, just saying.

Can give proof or share sceen shot to prove your accusations for the very old pioneer exchange, most of the people knows the coinbase is repubtable exchange.

Is two weeks patience enough? Hmm maybe I'm not a big enough "spender" with them so they just ignore me. It's like they sort their support tickets in descending dollar value of account balance. Glad I didn't put all my BTC there.

If you get a new phone number you practically lose your account since it takes 2FA to log in. They won't help you getting it back, just give you the "run around".

Coinbase is well known over crytocurrency users but they never had a good feedback that's why as much as possible they avoid using it unless necessary they have been like that ever since they've been recognized. To think that too many issues that never been solved yet they still continue what their currently doing, the reason is one of the main problem with cryto related is that there is few rules and regulation or policy and it only affects certain countries, so once you lost your coin it can never be retrieved no matter how much it cost.

Why not use? Can you tell a specific reason? I've been using Coinbase for a long time but I have not seen any reason so far for which Coinbase has to stop using. Rather I'm satisfied with the Coinbase. Coinbase is reputed of this period and is a popular cryptocurrency exchange system. I have been using Coinbase from the very beginning and have not faced any problems so far. Why not use Coinbase to give all the information.

I have known this company for a long time and they have never disappointed me, I don’t know the issue you are having with them , but has not really affected majority of people, your experience with them might be a bitter one, but it is not enough to pull the crowd along in your decision.

What if it was just a simple technical issue, we don’t even have the details of your real challenge for us to follow your advice, the only challenge you have mentioned here is your mail not being attended to, maybe you should push a little further, Facebook once did something of such to me because of many client on queue for them to attend to, but I had to push a little bit more till the resolved my issue.

If I wasn’t patient then, I would have probably come on one of these threads to tarnish their image.

I have use coinbase and I also have bitcoin there and all my transaction are smooth and fast. When I using it all the my transaction are good and there is no any error. maybe some of people have experience error in using it but for me this wallet is very good online wallet and they small transaction fee. Lastly, I will continue using it because all my funds are safe there and for you there are lot of wallet that can be use so its up to you what kind of wallet you prefer to use.

I think we have our preference and what I look for in an exchange maybe quite different from what you look for in one.  I don't think we can actually attend to theydemand of people concerned the need financial and what they really want from blockchain technology . I am in favour of regulations because it will bring sanity and truthfulness to blockchain technology.  Coinbase publication on they customer data is a good thing  to me.

Coinbase is one of the most used crypto exchange for fiat to crypto and vice versa transactions,if you want to accuse them give some examples or proofs why you are saying that they are providing poor performance or you will be just ignored like a troll.

Im using coinbase since last few years ago yes I experienced some problems but it is only minor but In still user of this wallet. So if you think it is not a good wallet don't use it is small problems people choice if they want to use coinbase or not no one can commane them except to their self.

If the majority is crying and bitching around means Coinbase should be avoided.  OP's case is not rare and often users like him are left hanging with unresolved cases but it seems OP does not detail his issue and did not show any proof that his support ticket is closed without being resolved. 

I have known Coinbase ever since I got in this crypto thing but never tried to register in their site because of the issue of leaking their user's data.  If I am not mistaken, one of the known issues of user leak is them leaking the personal info of a torrent site owner.

Coinbase has shitty support and you shouldn't use it on the first place if you need that web wallet so badly. Also there are some bad feedback to them regarding the feature and shit so yea don't use it if you have another alternative.

It is kinda expected to see the user database on such exchanges. The regular user wants to hold his crypto portfolio on the big exchanges. They don't undrstand the private key and its features on crypto. That's why the majority loses on exchanges like Coinbase.

Funny enough, I just read in a place not quite long on this same forum where we have many people that has praised the service of coinbase, many people with different experience and different opinions, I think it would have been clear to the OP too by now that he blew thing out of proportion after seeing the number of people that has got good experience using coinbase.

I used it but not now, I got some time login issue but there was a very small amount so they don't take a long time to solve that. But I hate the fees of coinbase they are taking high fees than others. So I left it.

Exactly mate we can't take any decision by listening only one persons opinion. I also using coinbase from last 3 years and untill now I didn’t face any issue at all.   

Patience is most certainly not a virtue when you are a paying customer in a rapidly changing crypto market. What if the price of Bitcoin begins to tank or moonshot? Do you want to be sitting there twiddling your thumbs, chanting "patience is a virtue" while your balance goes from $17,000 to $8,000? Speak for yourself. When the market moves I want access to MY funds swiftly. Not waiting around for weeks on end while they make half assed efforts to resolve your issue with an outsourced support team.

If I see Bitcoin starting to recover and going up from 4k...5k...6k... I may want to buy more Bitcoin sooner rather than later. The longer you wait, the less you profit. So I signed up with Kraken. And when the webcam picture I uploaded for verification was too blurry, an actual human from KRAKEN emailed me and followed up letting me know what was still pending. Instead of hearing nothing back from Coinbase and being told to try the same thing again.

This is all true, why else would I go through the trouble of writing these posts? I can't be bothered to take screenshots and strip out my personal information just to prove they have customer support issues. That should be a no brainer. Many companies cut corners in customer service so they can have higher margins for themselves. All those posts you're reading about how "good" coinbase is? There are companies you can pay to do that for you, and I'm sure it costs less than developing an actual quality support system. Though it's not like they're lacking for funds or anything, they just received 300 MILLION in series E funding last fall. Who knows what they're doing with it - hiring personal chefs and installing new virtual reality breakrooms?  ::)

What are you talking about? Maybe you are getting special treatment from them but my fees there aren't 5%. If I withdraw 1000 EUR to my bank the fee is 0.15 EUR
I requested a BTC transfer and coinbase fee was at 0 with the fee being 0.00006772 BTC. I don't like coinbase because of their KYC and tracking but never had a single issue with this exchange.

I am also using this wallet to keep my assets because it helps me a lot when transactions and small expenses are my favorite when using Coinbase. People often have a lot of problems with Fiat withdrawals, but if you withdraw coin with coinbase supported coins, surely the processing speed will be very fast and everything will go well. Although this is a 3rd party wallet but based on what I have evaluated, coinbase is one of the best wallet in the world

I believe it is one of the best online wallet out there. I used to use a lot to store my bitcoin and i didn't face any problem during that time. Recently, i have been using other wallet, so i can't say if it has developed any problem or not.

I've lost my 2fa in Coinbase, and i think they are easiest site that really can help people how to fix it (but my phone number still active). Glad until now i am not face any serious problem more than that in Coinbase. And about support, maybe you need to make some of it until they response it.

Coinbase is a pretty much well reputed crypto wallet as far as i know. You can't put a conclusion about them just for the issue with log in. You will have to put this on mind that coinbase have a large number of users and it can took a bit longer to response in some cases. If I put a conclusion like yiu about tge  support system of facebook then they are in the top position for their worse support system. Its because of their bigger community. Who used their ad manager account I think they have already faced a lot of issue like that.

It will be much better to make a inclusive discussion regarding your claim if you feel free to describe the whole thing clearly.  

For related legal issues from regulations issued by the government or the bank, I don't know. Here you cannot log in due to a problem, indeed in coinbase if you cannot login because it is wrong or forget the key, so it is very difficult to restore your account, but if it is because of something other than that I have never tried it.

Aside from high transaction fees i have no other issues regarding their platform though i never tried using support because i have no problem that has encountered..
Maybe its better for you to put the reason why you say this words against this one great exchange and this is not good accusation to make as joke

Here's a rough timeline

April 3rd - open ticket detailing my issue.

April 4th - April 23rd - Multiple new email threads started in response to my case without ever acknowledging my email replies. It's as if they have some automated system that just sends out emails saying "Thanks, we're working on this". Impossible to follow.

April 26th - "Thanks for reaching out. Having investigated the issue, I am working with a specialist to address it properly. We will follow-up with you as soon as we have an update."

Still no follow up. Ever have an issue like this with a bank? You can call up their support line and step through a quick verbal verification process - "Hi sir how are you, can you give me your name, your address, your social security number, etc" at the very worst you have to answer a security question. You'll be logged in within 10 minutes tops.

With these exchange sites, users are expected to upload weird selfies of themselves while holding a piece of paper with the date and a signature. What is this a reddit sub verification? This presumes all users have equal access to webcams, smartphones, etc. Not all countries are so fortunate to have abundant supplies of these things.

The one time I dealt with Coinbase support, they pushed me aside for several days with generic boilerplate responses that were irrelevant and useless. But after the ~ 4th try emailing them back I finally reached a human being with basic intelligence and they quickly solved my issue.


It's annoying but that's the way it is with Coinbase. I was extremely frustrated because my webcam couldn't take a high quality enough photo of my ID. Fortunately I was able to get through it by downloading the mobile app and using my smartphone camera.

I do not know what is wrong with coin base. It has been one of the good digital exchange platforms in the market but you know when the speed or pace of growth of a particular business slows down, it looses its costumers. This might be the reason why many people are shifting to Binance as the Binance users make more money than what others do.

I think they are one of the most trusted wallet I have seen them back when I was just new.
And only used it because of credhot and I didn't faced any problem back then.
And maybe they couldn't fix your issue because they have so many clients that also needs their assistance and they couldn't help all of you at the same time.

I agree with your statement that coinbase is working closely with regulators. But, I disagree that they have published users data. There was a rumor that Coinbase shared users data, Elliptic CEO which was alleged for selling Coinbase users data has commented that the rumor is not true things.

I can't dude :D as the country I live is not supported. But I would still not use it otherwise for some reasons. I would only use Poloniex among the US based exchanges.

I think this Coinbase is meant only for U.S and other countries because when I get to know about Coinbase things were really complicated to put in together. It's never meant for newbies who don't know how to make use of it. At my point when I started Cryptocurrency I only heard about it being the best wallet. For now I think one have to understand fully different types of wallet and how to make use of them. My own advice will be make use of a wallet which you have the private key to.

But it will giving lots of security to my investment so how I can say it will not be in sure and secured so my thoughts about his all going through the different dimensions there is something problem between the transaction and the storage if it was cleared by them then it will be the safest.

That's strange, I do not think coinbase can be blamed for misunderstandings btw can you please share us what is the issue that you are facing. Maybe they gave you an answer but you have not understood it properly. Please take screenshots if possible and post them here with as much explanation you can possibly do.

I have also heard some words against coinbase . But I did not face any problem yet where I have used coinbase for more than 2 years. I think the issue can be a misunderstanding between the support and the users. Users should wait patiently for solving the issue. Hope supports also response as soon as possible.

Every now and then some accusations against one of the exchanges appear. I think there is no exchange without any complaint at all. So Coinbase is not exception. But we  have to make the difference between some bad users experiences and real problems in exchange functioning like legitimacy, trustworthy, fraud or similar.
I beleive that in most cases the problem is misunderstanding between user and customer services. Also don't forget that many times users also violate terms of use and they often are not objective. So when it comes to legitimate exchanges with good reputation that are long time on the market before making some conclusions it's needed to know all circumstances.

Coinbase has proven to be one of the popular exchange and we have seen it impacts in cryptocurrencies market.  I have been buying bitcoin through coinbase and I have never have any problems doing that  . If there is a misunderstanding between the user and customers support then this should be resolved out.

Aha! So I'm not alone in my experience after all... Just took some time for someone else to speak up. Kinda feels like a bot echo chamber in here: "Coinbase is the best, you should be more patient, it has the best wallet blah blah..." Every poster defending them even looks the same, with the same sponsored signature and avatar... Maybe their words are sponsored too  ;D 

How's this for patience: one week after I reuploaded my documents I get this email:

"Thank you for uploading your ID to recover your account! Your account recovery request is now in progress.

One week later! hah! and it will take another 2-3 days according to the reply. 10+ day turnaround time. I really hope they can hire the help they need.

I think that Coinbase is not only a very nice user-friendly but also its security system is quite strong. In 2017, I faced a major problem. I could not login any way even after I gave a proper email and password. Then after going to their help section and calling these numbers, my problem is solved within just four days...

Coinbase is like the only exchange in america and they know that people will always use them no matter what because they don't really have a choice, I personally don't like coinbase and I am so happy that am not a citizen of the united states, so I make use of any trading platform I want to, I used coinbase at first for a while, but I have to change to when I saw how poor their service was, now I make use of binance and I can say they are the best.

Good to see you share you experience, what we are seeing here is only the bad experience of few users but coinbase has a good reputation
and they will find ways to maintain it. It's normal to see some complaints or dislikes in a certain exchange, but what make theme strong is their users that experience well is willing to give honest feedback.

What problem did you have with them exactly? If it’s about the login, I can remember that they always require their users to always confirm the login from their email before the login will be allowed. I think that’s part of their own security process, though it can be very frustrating at times cause it randomly misbehaves.

And like you have said, they hardly reply mails they are sent. They do reply but not all the times and I think they don’t reply to issues they think are not really worth their reply, something they think you can sort out yourself. But I’m not the type that can abandon my money for any exchange, I’m not that stupid.

So you aren't be able to log-in to your account because your ticket was "immediately closed". Can you log-in now? I am aware that poor customer support is always the problem of most crypto exchanges and coinbase is not the only one. Are you able to log in now? What problem did you encounter?

If you want to buy / Sell the bitcoins only then you should be a citizen of USA but anyone can create the account there and use it as a wallet . Although i do agree that It is better to save bitcoins in personal wallets where we have access to private keys. There is always some risk involved if we store our money on centralized locations.

I wonder why it's always like that. For some, the service is bad, for others they work and earn. For some, it is unacceptable, for others the best. It is probably a matter of the people themselves and it’s hard to believe that everything was ok and then once, at one point you are ignored. There are lots of such topics on any exchange, just some kind of conspiracy theory.  ::)

I used to make use of their exchange but I later left them to move to Kraken which is what I’m still using this time around. Kraken is not really for noobs, they can’t make use of it. Coinbase is still being mentioned by a lot of sites as the best, but I guess that was before cause things are really changing this time around and they find it difficult in giving support to their platform users, unlike Kraken that provides excellent support when you are having an issue with their platform.

Well, coinbase is really a reputable place for currency exchange and currency storage, many people appreciate it, use it for many years and there aren't too many problems, I'm also a user and I feel it's quite good and safe. But a problem from coinbase is that they do not support some countries, so I believe that if there is any complaint between the customer and the coinbase support team, it is only possible that people in countries are restricted, hoping that coinbase may soon remove these restrictions, which will avoid unnecessary complaints.

They are, and I would use them in a heartbeat if they had not canceled my account years ago.  Never had any issues with them, and I bought a lot of bitcoin on Coinbase.  They are regulated by the US government, and while that doesn't guarantee that there won't be some shenanigans going on, it does at least provide some comfort that they won't get away with outright scamming their customers.

OP is very short on details here, and my guess is that he has an issue that will be resolved eventually--but there's no way of knowing unless he elaborates on what the problem is.

Bleh.  Never been a fan of Kraken, but that's just me.  I'd much prefer to use Coinbase for fiat transactions or an exchange like Binance for crypto trading.

Thanks for sharing this, I had some problems with them too sometimes ago and when I contacted them, not through their call center but by email, it delayed but my request was sorted out and they notified me of it. I was discussing with one of my colleague on this and I told him OP was too fast in creating this negative news about them.

When dealing with projects like this that has large user database, we should know that they are not only attending to our problems alone, we need to give them time, and if we can’t be patient with their services, we have lots of similar projects that are more active to switch to.

I think it is very important to have a good trading platform. Binance has had good reviews and was considered and is still considered as a good digital exchange. Maybe the cost of investment in case of OP would have been high which would have resulted in a tiresome job for him to make profit. It is important to have a low cost of investment and only then you could make money in crypto trading over a platform.

Most importantly, Coinbase wasn't meant solely for the US citizens rather be a universal exchange. The first exchange that i came to know about is that of Coinbase before other exchange in the industry. In my country, we are friendly with Coinbase and use it for most of our transactions either for buy or sell of cryptocurrencies. Personally, not see anything wrong for me not to use Coinbase.

Maybe they thought that you're just spamming around like others, I suggest to send them an email in regards with your concern. I think a formal letter or presentable letter will have an advantage so they know it's something serious unlike just a normal messages or an urban type of messages they might think that you're just some of the spammers and just sent you a common reply in regards with your concern.

The only thing I don't use coinbase is that:
1. The fee I think is a little bit high unlike other exchanges
2. The coins are limited (Only few coins are listed)

I've used the wallet before but I haven't encountered any complications/problems with that, I only stop using that exchange because of the 3 reasons on the top

Lol..i think you should take it easy buddy and really explain the issue well because this is indeed the first time I am seeing such review about coinbase. Anyways i haven't used coinbase before because it id not available in my country but i haven't seen such a review before. Just take your time and contact their support again and see if you can get your money back.

But you're right. We can't trust any of them crypto exchange..we gotta be careful always

I just registered because I was interested in airdrop xlm. I don't think there is a problem and it's too early to conclude this.
I will use it for the future.

I have never used a coinbaser, but I think we should also know more clearly and in more detail what you mean worst. can you try to explain what is the worst intent in terms of service, fees or anything? please explain so that readers can understand.

I'm sure in every exchange their biggest problem is in the service / support center. Not only happened to coinbase. Of course for me to not be easily trapped with it, at the beginning of registration, my account must be really protected very safely.

I didn`t see anything about xlm airdrop on coinbase, are you sure in your information? Blockchain wallet had that promotion, 25 dollars in stellar, but I don`t know that coinbase is doing something similar. I will check this out. Even thou I have coinbase account for years I never used it, I like some other exchanges much more than coinbase, I always thought its for US citizens more than for others.

XLM airdrop from what i see is for US Citizens. If for worldwide, there is BAT airdrop and the other one i forget. Maybe because of that people only know about that both airdrop because can't do XLM airdrop in coinbase. But me when use it, still not face any serious problem even forget about 2fa, but my number phone that i use to register still active.

I have heard a lot about Coinbase support recently. It seems they have a good market share and they are not interested in traders. They are adding more altcoins instead of focusing on developing technology and services.
Recently there are a lot of problems with traders' accounts. we really should remind in using Coinbase.

I always have the impression that coinbase isn't for Asians which is why I don't have an account to them.  Op's case is about support communication from coinbase, which I also find hard to bigger companies in Bitcoin. Its not just coinbase, I did ask for the support from come of the exchanges with just minor problems like MEMO address not input but it took awhile for them to get it fixed. I suppose exchanges doesn't have a lot of staff that works 247.

Someone accusing one of the most reputed exchange without any evidence.People see it as troll because not many accusations or even one against them and they will try to resolve if there is any issues occurred while using them.

If such ticket or support thing havent being replied for some hours that isnt exceeding 24 hours is somewhat considerable but
when we do talk already for about days of waiting then its already signifies that their support do sucks but there are circumstances that
cant be avoided for causing such delay.The important thing that they are still operational and reputable.

I still see a lot of allegations about Coinbase and that their quality is falling. But for me, I've been using coinbase for more than 2 years and I've done it on hundreds of deals. I didn't feel anything bad happened in my deal.
I still think Coinbase is really a great wallet and has very high security. You can pay and buy ETH or BTC easily with cheap fees. I really love Coinbase.

Hi!  I dont know if posting in the right post..

I have a problem with CoinBase. I bought Bitcoin with CoinBase and then I sent to a wallet from a platform. I didn´t accept the conditions of the platform so they sent me back the Bitcoin. The problem is they reversed the transaction and sent it to the same address. In CoinBase the address from where I sent is different from the address where I have to receive.

I am waiting for a response for a month from support.... Has anyone had a problem like that? Thanks

it's never happened to me personally but it's not unheard of. i can't find any threads about specific cases on coinbase, but it took binance a few weeks (https://www.reddit.com/r/binance/comments/8emi7l/accidently_sent_nano_to_binance_hot_wallet/) to sort out a similar situation.

how many times have you followed up on your ticket? the only time i had an issue that required customer support, coinbase replied with ~3 irrelevant boilerplate emails before a competent human finally addressed my problem. you need to keep pushing them, otherwise it'll fall through the cracks.

also, post your issue and ticket # on https://www.reddit.com/r/coinbase ......that tends to get their attention.

I understand that you sent BTC from Coinbase to some other wallet (service) and they sent them back to you at the same address in Coinbase?
If this happened, then you have nothing to worry about. Coinbase is a very solid exchange and if it wasn't some suspicious service (the one that gave you back BTC) then you will definitely get your BTC back.

Yes Sir. I sent from CoinBase to other wallet (investment platform), I didn´t accept the terms and conditions so they sent them back to the same address.
