I still look forward to the day that a project will bring forward a mainnet that will top that of Ethereum's, so far I have seen wonderful ideas been pitched but no yet able to unseat Ethereum. It remains to see how well Bora does.

Few years back, Vitalik did something unique from other clown coin other devs created, he created Ethereum a blockchain for trustless agreements, totally different from bitcoin blockchain for trustless payments. Now I only hope BORA team is dedicated to creating the next amazing project.

I got confused reading the blog, is the BORA team trying to bring together some of the top protocols together or are they going to create a similar blockchain that could work together with other blockchain?

the bora team need to clarify how they intends to combine all those platform they listed. it is a great project but uncertain on how it will work out by working with different blockchain platforms.

Ethereum is like the standard and all new projects coming out are trying to dp better than eth network. It's going to be hard but i hope they do scale through.

In my opinion, the concept of bora is to utilize the attributes of the various platforms for the efficiency of their digital content platform. Using various platforms gives them an edge in the sense that they hand pick only the best features of  platforms which is required and combining great features of several platforms gives them a higher advantage.

This is exactly my point but a lot of projects have "come close" in the past, Bora is actually not the only one that is why I await to see how well they can carry out the plan they have for their ecosystem.

That's the essence of been different, it makes a project stand out from the crowd and gives them an edge over other competitors, nowadays its all about doing what others are doing which makes the industry stagnant but i hope to see this change for the better and developers should come to terms that this is a new technology and only with innovation can they succeed

I don't quite get it, the Mainnet will build on Ethererum and the Side Chains on Bora? Will there be two tokens? The longer I travel in the world of crypto currencies, the less I seem to understand the technology behind it.

Or rather, the longer we stay, the More complicated new projects make solutions to easy problems.

With new people mostly noobs getting into crypto, be it for the profits or for a better and faster technology solution to life problems, new blockchain should be easy to use not complicated.

BORA is moving scalability to higher dimension. it is so powerful that 260,000 people per chain can enjoy 1v1racing games simultaneously and if more space is required the platform can be expanded to accommodate the necessity.

I am very confused about expanding to accommodate the necessity, before that it should get more exposure to this blockchain because already we have seen many companies supporting this gaming technology which helps that blockchain to get more exposure in the market.

I am not that optimistic about this project, looking at the project they need more than just an idea, look at most of the projects in the space with promising idea non has really compete with Ethereum toe to toe which is a concern to me, and some of them are dieing out, the likes of Qtum, NEO, ICON, Lisk etc are losing market share

I know just idea don't have value. But without idea how we can start building something new, competitive? Projects needs time to develop something unique. At this moment I am neutral about this project, but will keep it in my watchlist.

I will also monitor any developments in this project, hopefully this will be done quickly so that I know more about the details of the project and the products they are launching I will wait for this answer

The blockchain industry, if there’s anything of the sort, is growing, and fortunately has earned the interest of a lot of investors who believes in its potential. BORA making a difference with a unique blockchain would have my interest too.

yes we know that a project will be in great demand if the project has a unique and offered features that can attract many investors, I am sure this bora project will always try to give the best, it is inseparable from the ongoing marketing process and good teamwork.

Yea, its among the top innovative industry that's coming up, a lot of potentials in it and plenty room for development, just that it has been plagued by bad influences like scammers and bad projects with no realistic concept but once all that has been figured out, development will come in and i believe the industry will take a new turn for the better

The change we are going to see is going to be highly disruptive we will ditch the centralized system for a more robust decentralized system and a large part of our society will become more secure and meaningful

You have a point but we still have long way to go and the remaining brands in the industry should get their acts together and create means for an enabling environment to welcome newbies and potential investors into the industry for a more robust infrastructure, if not, it will be another stagnant industry with nothing spectacular to offer to the public

It doesn't look like it is going to be as easy as it is to say "ditch". Lot's of forces and political authorities are already fighting it's survival and it will only take lots of persistence from the crypto community to win this struggle especially when they try to crumble market price to discourage us.

Agreed, a lot of things needs to be put in place before we begin to see some realistic growth, its not just all about BTC but the general growth of the industry as a whole, i talked about the creation of projects with value and the need for reorientation as many see crypto as a get rich quick money syndrome, that ideology should be changed

Yea, i do agree with you on that and the need for development can not be overemphasized, the industry should be known as one that has something to offer and not just about making money, that's what the community should understand, take a look at the stock market for example, people have faith in it because it has something of real value

Yes, a lot of individuals became rich as a result of the crypto boom but it was created on the basis of unrealistic earnings within a short period of time, so when investors and non-investors saw that they are not seeing the boom of the early days, they backed out and like i stated, scammers came in and did a whole lot of serious damage to the industry

BORA stands for Blockchain orchestrated redeemable Assets. It’s not a blockchain but a platform built on Ethereum blockchain and rewards users with Bora tokens.

BORA tokens, the token of Bora project is listed on CoinMarketCap. Listing on CoinMarketCap is a good indicator for both investors and BORA team. It allows anyone to follow the progress of the project and its tokens.

Bora blockchain being a Chinese project have most of their announcements in Chinese. Pretty difficult for English investors to follow the progress of BORA. You recently had a partnership with Klaytn, is this a strategic partnership?

I think they should published their pages in multiple languages. Because I also seen that and it's not redirecting/translating automatically in English.

Yep, more people will get attracted to the project if they at least start publishing all content in English as well. BTW, for now I am using Google translation which is okay upto some point.

Agree with you. Having to use google translate is so tiring and discouraging as well. I want to believe that there are plans to translate in English too so English investors can follow. That even makes it more universal

It’s an island for blockchain application. Kinda links blockchain apps together. And you could pay for stuffs on any of these blockchain apps using BORA shell available on bora wallet. Sounds awesome to me.

Here's something to really look into. I think it will be good to have an affiliate here perhaps an admin kind of because there are alot of questions in this platform already with little/no answer. Yes it will be difficult to some people like us who don't have a knowledge to read their language. Honestly I want to check the details on their website too but just like last month their website is still on different language (not in english).

If they can't even get their website translated into English, I guess their whole software and content will also be in Chinese at first. Will make adoption difficult.

I talked about the language options on the ecosystem on BORA telegram group. I know there are more English speakers than Chinese. They could make a translation of their public announcements in both languages and more.

I know of a cryptocurrency exchange that does this. You can use email to send fiat and cryptocurrency to another registered user on the platform. So it is possible.

Communication is really of utmost importance and i expect them to do the needed things to be done in ensuring that every investor or potential investor is effectively given the right message because no one knows for sure where the big investors maybe coming from, relying on just one source of language as a means of communication is not a good idea

You're absolutely right, communication goes a long way in helping a brand establish trust and bridge the language barriers, they probably have social handles and these handles have to be populated in English because it will help them extend further to the outside community, they probably have strong support from their Asian community but English is till needed

In all of my years in the cryptocurrency space, this is my first time hearing something like this, has blockchain innovations really gone that high? I guess I still have a whole lot of research to do in that case.

You can see their website in English too. There is an option on the website to select between Korean and English language at the top right corner. The team are well aware of their diverse customer base.

It really is confusing, that was why I was amazed at how how possible it is till somebody said it can be done as they have seen it in another project. I guess we only just have to wait and see how it goes in the end.

I'm not really sure on the process involved in the selection of participants for the testnet but its usually a process that involves picking of random active members from the community or some selected investors, either way, i believe the former is much more acceptable than the latter, testnest process have a way of making a project look authentic and valid

I prefer random selection from the community to participate in the testnet.
At least it will give the representative output from a diverse set of individuals.
If coming from selected investors, bias is always there because they have vested interest on this project.

I can see you're surprised indeed. The truth is that it's possible and has been in existent for a long time. I remember Coinbase Wallet has that functionality, though it's been a long time since I used the wallet. I remember one could transfer Btc to other coinbase users with just the email address.

Bora adoption of this modality is awesome. Users of the bora wallet don't need to bother so much about the public address which may be impossible to recall, but remembering the email address is very simple. Bora also implemented the free transaction fee on her wallet, making sending and receiving tokens seamless and free.

For me it's not easy to understand how this email address based token transfer will work. And how secure it will be? Do we need to link email with our wallet address?

Does this mean our email address will be the BORA wallet address?  While sending tokens to other users I just need to mention email address?  But what will happen if I want to send tokens to the ERC20 wallet?  Or any other exchange?

I quite agree with this position as well, having a large pool of testers would be great as well but I guess first stage is Beta testers open to only 60 participants as standard amount

Yeah not really a new thing in the blockchain today but its predominantly used in exchange and banking service and not game service like BORA is all about. That may be the difference here.

You're right but having it be like a random thing will stripe off those that have been relevant to the project, like active members, so even if it will be random, it has to be in a way that the active embers will be giving a chance to actually participate in the testnet and they will be in a better position to give their reviews, since its something that they are passionate about

Random participate in the testnet will allows everyone or everything within a specific to have an equal chance of being selected. Where It shows the process that builds an inherent fairness into the project and more promising.

You don't need to do anything, every account has a unique identifier which is the email address. The wallet address is linked to the email address since the email address is unique. The most important factor that you need to worry about is that you receive the payment which is expected from the sender.

They should have at least show interest to this project. Because if a user is not interested at all, he will not give effort to give comprehensive feedback.

That's right, i see no reason adding up someone who cares less about the outcome of a project or someone who just wants to participate in airdrop, that's if the project is offering any, core investors that are active are best bet in terms of selecting who to test out the process/testnet and drop concrete feedback that will help in the overall success of the project

I guess they're already working on the modalities to ensure it's implementation. I know it would undergo the necessary test before it would be made available to the public. On the security of the wallet, I believe that bora has what it takes to guarantee the security of her wallet.

This is a good idea! But it is difficult to implement. However, this will have a good effect on the adoption of cryptocurrency.

Not sure if they have outlined the security measures in place, if they haven't, then they should do so by briefing the community what they have to ensure the security of their wallet, it shouldn't be all out because of the negative side of spilling such, if possible, something that makes their security different and it should be in away that will encourage users to use the wallet productively

It's good for the Bora to brief the community of the security measures that have been taken, but that may bore the community especially those without an understanding of how it works. I believe bora has placed taken a robust security measure to ensure that the wallet is safe for individuals to use.

Even as much as we trust Bora developers to carry out their responsibility of ensuring the optimum security of the wallet, I'm of the opinion that the there should be constant review of the wallet to ensure that bugs are detected and corrected. The team needs to acknowledge the fact that there's always more to be done and consistently update the wallet to keep the users satisfied.

Exactly, such will eradicate fear and create a much robust community that will confidently use the wallet and perhaps recommend to others to have a taste of what bora has to offer because the overall objective of this is to create awareness and awareness comes from users, as they are the ones that will deliver the needed reviews to expand the community 

first of all great project are usually not easy and secondly the implementation is gonna be gradual, gradual in the sense that they don't have to implement all the functions all at once and like you said this will help fuel mass adoption of cryptocurrency

I don't think you have checked all the project details.  BORA already made good progress and now are in testing phase. We should see mainnet soon

Yea, its sure is a gradual process and requires trials and errors till they get it right, the process of building a brand its not an easy thing, not to mention the fact that this is an uncharted territory, with lots of new technology to test before actually getting the desired results, so its going to take sometime, it all depends on the team and how diligent they are in the quest to create their brand

There’s Push Sushi for games, Shell wallet to exchange Bora tokens for Shell tokens. There’s also Angry birds. I think BORA Island is going to be an interesting blockchain ecosystem.

Reading through your last update, you actually have an interesting project and I’m going to learn a lot watching this project grow. I see BORA island as a project of a certain complexity and would require quite a lot of coordination to be secure and stable.

I agree with you. This is not just simple dApp or something. It's whole new concept. If testnet is successful then it will be huge achievement.

Ha ha ha... I suggest you to read the article to get clear idea about this project. There is chance to collect good amount of SHELL which you can exchange with BORA tokens.

Recently, Ethereum network did something similar for their users but this wasn't a mapping of wallet to email or something but they created a way to enable you map your wallet address (public of course) to any phrase you can easily remember. Something like iwant.tokens.now  I think it's a similar idea implementation BORA is trying to do.

In building, there is usually a lot of stages which all projects must pass through. You cannot implement all stages at once. That can be a disaster to the project.

Right. There will be continues improvement new update for the wallet. Even after years we see iOS or Android coming with new version, then why can't this wallet does the same.

I have to commend BORA team. It’s an awesome job you got your devs doing here. You actually have a project that’s goes very well with blockchain. I think you should focus on scalability and usability, easy to use and could be accessible to a good number of users.

Let me get this straight, is it strictly just game apps and are the developers of these games given some sort of incentive?, it will be nice to see bora be used as the incentive if any and such will drive the value of token upwards and increase its visibility to the conventional community, angry bird is a known game in the community and its a good thing to have them on board

Well having those passphrases is really like a double edge sword to the users or owner of the wallet but it's really good because you know that as long you saved it on the safe place no one will really going to access it if it's the only way to access the wallet.

Indeed there are doing a nice job but talking about accessibility what are the criteria for participation or is it open ended to whoever is willing and also is participation going to be via a kind of mobile application or website based like we see in similar projects

I think giving users the opportunity to change their public address will really fix a lot of issues, despite the fact that's long and looks secured, hackers where still able to access users wallet because there is no process to notify users when their wallets has been tampered, in a case whereby an email notification is been sent to users and they have the opportunity of changing their address, such will curtail the issue of hacking

I have been able to sign up and took some time to play the find bird game, it was interesting and I got some bora Shell, though very negligible. I look forward to having more games in bora Island and hopefully the units of bora Shell offered should be increased to make playing more rewarding.

I must say congratulations for joining the Great community of bora Island users. The interphase and graphics of the games were not looking bad, but could be improved upon, I guess, the graphics would be much better when the mobile application is completed and available to users.

I agree with you, so much Could be achieved with blockchain technology, we only need to be patient with the development of the platform, several updates are still ongoing and in no distant time, we would be having all the various types of games we've imagined.

That's good to get some reviews from an individual that have tasted the app and not just on paper and i also hope to see more of such in the coming days, reviews are best known to be good for upcoming brands and only the users are in the best place to create the needed awareness, its like in the case of referring individuals to a particular service in a business setting 

I think these are all online games. Not like we have with Switch. I really don’t know how much graphics can be allowed on blockchain, without putting so much pressure on the chain.

We see that bora tokens value is appreciated, although the island isn’t launched yet, I think the team still got a lot more to do on the platform, but this is what we want. I hate to talk about prices, kinda see it as a distraction. But it’s difficult not to notice bora tokens boom.

As much as I like the fact that BORA tokens are listed and I my tokens are worth more, I think it’s awesome that Bora Island is fast developing. There’s been a lot progress, and it’s only going to take a short time to get a the platform launched.

Thank you for this update, I've been hearing some persons saying that the application is available on Google play store but didn't believe because I'm yet to get any substantial information from them. Its nice that the much anticipated app is finally out.

The team has done well in unleashing the first batch of the applications which in this case is the android version. I want to believe that the second batch which is the iOS version of the application is currently being worked on and would be released very soon.

I would love to see the bora tokens boom, I agree that the project is unique and seems very promising and there's a huge possibility that when the bora platform comes to fruition, it would have an impact on the prices.

That's a bold claim. How did you come to this conclusion? Well I don't know much about that anyway but I want to believe the team must have done a research before concluding on releasing android first. Something must have influenced that decision.

I really don’t know how much tokens the team have left for promotions, but I think there should be a little incentive for developers who would like to create fun games on bora island. I don’t mean flood the island, but exciting games should be added on the platform.

It’s quite easy to get an app on play store than to get it on App Store. iOS apps takes more efforts and there’s a strict rule. But you can find/test new IOS apps on TestFlight. I guess bora team can get the app to TestFlight while user on iOS wait for the app to be on App Store.

The thing is, most project team go for iOS users simply because they are the ones they feel can invest in their project, which to me is wrong, android users have the population and can make things happen too, so any brand that intends creating such an app should go both iOS and android than picking one and letting go of the other, that's not a good idea

This is an everlasting debate. The Ios and android users both have their advantages and disadvantages. But what I noticed most project target is their intended market.

Yup, IOS device has more users. Also I'm positive it will help increase their user base and increase publicity.
