Title: Will new alts projects take over the lead?
Post by: Jatawneh on June 15, 2019, 01:52:54 AM

All alts price is down, but the question is !
will all of this new projects take the lead in the next bull run and leave behind good alts that have been in the market for several years ( for example STRAT , SYS , XEM  etc..  ).

It is very possible that the new Alt took over the leadership of Alt that already exists, with the new record really having a new innovation in developing the crypto world. if it doesn't exist, I think the new alt is impossible to take over the existing alt position.

For me also I see that is possible when new project with active team come up with a coin that will be useful to use. what make me more worry if the old projects teams became lazy to develop new ideas for their projects.

Good alts will remain and that's why they were considered as good alts. Some new alts may take over but only the best and the ones that has built its good state but I doubt it that the established ones will be left behind unless something intriguing will be reported about them. New projects that comes to the market mostly aren't so good, many have postponed and few were only dedicated.

It's not important what coin is new or old or what coin is in the top or below, the thing is that any altcoin can take the lead of they exceed people's expectation through out the years with their project development. Even if it is just a 6months or 1 year coin in the cmc but they have acquired several big partnerships then they will definitely take over the lead in the future.

I think really potential projects, we will not buy it at a good price. like EOS, it's a great alternative to any technology that is available at the beginning of 2018. it caused a huge fever at that time and their token was quickly sold out. in private sale and ICO.
so we should not expect too much on such projects. Learn and focus on other potential projects in IEO in Binance or Okex.

For speculators or investors new alts thats supported by good projects and use case is always worth, there is an opportunity to gain 2x or more profits, the IEO in binance is a good example of a short term investment

Old coins should follow new coins that can offer something to the community to see what they are bringing new, and they must live up to expectations too, not because they are on top they are not going to deliver any more, we have old coins in the market going down and not getting their position back the big example is Litecoin.

IEO in Binance can make you earn x4 in just a few days if you're lucky enough to get tickets to those projects. I think this market is now more speculative because most people tend to sell more and after the IEO that project can only stabilize for about 2 days before there is a bigger discount. Of course, not every project because Matic is an example of a tremendous price increase in this market

Community is an important factor for the development and success of a project. Most of the top 10 CMC projects were born at the time of the 2017 boom market, they had very good technology and team, so the community supported them for a long time. If a new project wants to replace its position, there will be a technological or financial breakthrough to help the capitalization of the new project be pushed up.

yes the possibility of a new Alt can take over leadership Alt that is already on the crypto market. the growth of blockchain technology has increased and many new cryptoqurency is present in the crypto market. but what is certain is that if they have good performance and the coins they produce have great potential, they will definitely grow faster and be used by many users.

It is not a matter of a new or old coin. It is a matter of delivery a coin can give to customers. If a project fails to delivery, it may disappear irrespective of its newness or oldness. So in free market, new or old are welcome. If new projects hit the market with much to offer, obviously they will beat already established coins that are failing to deliver.

No impossibility in cryptocurrency,  it is very possible for a new altcoins  to take over the learning once  but before doing so must has a good and reliable, hardworking team,  an awesome roadmap and some other lucrative features that will attract people

We can't conclude yet but there's a possibility that some new altcoin projects will be worth more than the coin existing today as long as that project have a unique feature that may give change to face of the cryptocurrency industry. So far I haven't seen any revolutionary coin since the crypto itself is already revolutionary isn't?

Not just old alts, even the new alts are bleeding red for the last couple of days almost 85% of my alts coins are in red I think it's mainly because of the BTC pump.

we can't determine it at the beginning while the old altcoins that are already on the market don't necessarily survive especially with the new altcoin. but it might happen if the new altcoin has great potential for investment and also has further price developments.

I suspect this will happen, yes. Normally BTC starts a bull run, and then when that starts to slow down then alts take over. Doesn't happen every time, but it does quite often. And top alts do look very low against BTC right now.

Indeed I guess, for all the new alts project will take over, as long as the new altcoin has great potential for investment, has a great profit to offer to every investors and also has further price developments. Just like the dencoin token. I am so glad by participating with this kind of good project. Because it gives me such a really good investment.

when bitcoin price raises ups, make sharp moves, looks storonger; in this case altcoins are usually down. Altcoins need a more stable bitcoin price so people can shift their investments to altcoins instead of bitcoin.

I also agree with your statement that cryptoqurrency itself is now very revolutionary, and I personally don't see new coins appearing that will really take over the market. and that is very unlikely, if there is one I think it requires a long process not as fast as you think. while bitcoin is currently still leading the market.

That will be a long thing as the current are still trying to survive base on the bear market we are right now , so it will be hard to predict in any new token can just take the lead until it has major offer to makes it work just has binance is doing in the market right now which has done tremendous well in the last couple of months which is nearly 2yrs .

New coins have a great opportunity to lead the turnaround, provided the new coins are now new differences and concepts and more modern updates. definitely be able to beat old coins that are already in the top market

It will be difficult for a new projects to take a lead and beat existing projects in crypto.
Unless they have trusted team members, huge marketing advertising to create awareness,
they won't attract any investors to investing in their project.

I don't think so . New projects have a lot more potential than older projects and if you are an investor, you trend to invest in new coins more and that can help you earn good profits. Among recent projects, ATOM is one of the most outstanding projects at this time because it is the most technologically advanced project in this market and is rank 16 in CMC so new project there will be more advantages in investment

Hm, that will be difficult to predict because we have too many altcoins at the market, besides that, those projects continue. If the projects are good and many people buy those coins, I think it will give a chance for the coins to increase and that will be a good start for that coin to lead the market to start the bull run. But that is only a prediction, and we don't know when the real bull run will happen, so it's better to stay calm and to wait for the market to answer.

if by "lead" you mean getting the biggest pumps and have a bloated market cap that is mostly fake then the answer is YES. it has been happening for many years and i don't see any reason why it should change.
soon we will see the top 10 altcoin list change entirely as it has changed during each pumping season every 2 or 3 years.

but if you mean seeing actual projects with good features to offer to take the real market not just on exchanges then the answer is NO because so far creating shitcoins and running ICOs is a lot more profitable for developers than creating a good coin!

If new coins come from the development of the IEO, which is under the auspices of a large exchanger such as binance or something else, then maybe what you say about the take over of old coin can happen. Binance last week registered a coin ONE and the demand is pretty good when viewed from the IEO rate and the current rate is higher.

now most new project only follow the concepts and ideas of existing project, so many new project cannot survive (die), then if the new project can think of ideas that have never existed and the project is real and certainly the new project has a very good function and useful for the future, then I'm sure that can make people will trust to invest in the new project and of course the price will definitely increase very high (bull run), because people will be interested to investing in the project, so it all depends on the project, if the project is good then I'm sure the project can take over the lead and of course the price will increase very high (bull run), but if the project is bad then I'm sure the project won't last and will die.

Now there are many projects are coming with new ICO and IEO and even the more secure route of STO. So, it is definitely take over the previous which are not challenging up to a standard measure. Some projects are also coming with the same project which were earlier came. Definitely a competitive situation will occur in future.

Sooner or later altcoin would take over the lead. Bitcoin is the pioneering technology but it is not as programmable or updatable as newer coins.
New blockchains can easily solve any issues and be able to get advance services as the time and market demands. Bitcoin may lead the price sector for quite some time but it's not going to rule for years.

Observing the trend, bitcoin is growing stronger and stronger as the alt markets gets more and more competition.
Alt markets would rise and total crypto valuation would achieve all time high but there would be no alt to compete with Bitcoin as bitcoin itself is a standard uncontested. It's like gold of the digital world. Whatever you bring, gold would always be the king.

Actually, nothing is impossible, however, it may be hard to gain it. So far, many altcoins need more than a year to raise and survive on the market. The coins from new projects may also have the same chance to enter the market and compete with them with valuable rate, however, I think only a few new altcoins will hold this condition. In fact, there will be the new altcoins that always need more years to be recognized on the market.

this is not true . do you heard of the coin bnb ? bnb is new but it easily gain alot of investor and its price pumped dramaticaly  .by the way, bnb coin is from binance and binance is a reputable exchange so there is no surprise that thier new coin got indemand in a short period of time  but im sure that other new coins without any backing of reputable exchange or company still have the chance to become indemand verry easy due to its good charcteristics and specifications .

I want to add a little that not in just one year, it even takes 2-3 years to be able to compete with existing ones. But everyone hopes that there will always be new and can compete with those that have been on the market for years. It is desirable that this new altcoin can compete at least not at the beginning of its rapid growth after there is no development.

it's hard to guess whether the altcoin will lead the market, and replacing bitcoin is certainly no one knows. because the state of bitcoin is currently experiencing ups and downs, and altcoin is also experiencing ups and downs. so of course we are hard to guess all this

Most of the new projects are just here to cash out, except for very few ones. Therefore, the few serious projects might be seen at the to 100, but I do not see them competing easily with the top 5 coins.
The top 50 will continue to compete to move higher and we see that already happening.
New projects have a lot of works to do.

why altcoin always take a bad price, becuase they list on bear market.

will all of this new projects take the lead in the next bull run and leave behind good alts that have been in the market for several years ( for example STRAT , SYS , XEM  etc..  ).
I don't think they will leave already known good altcoins behind, the new alts will join the party instead, i don't expect coins like ETH, RIPPLE AND XLM not to soar above the coin you mentioned in the coming bull run.

new alts with empty foundation will only soar at the beginning but it will easily die down. good alts, however, with strong foundation will stay and if the dev team is in continuous support with their developments, i believe they will be in the increasing trend. they already established their loyal supporters, so what they can do, is give them reason to further support their projects by providing progress or improvements of their system.

I think this is the trend now, I have noticed several times that people now pump money more in new projects and abandoning the older ones, that is why you see most new projects that are not scam gets pumped easily even though they will eventually die in future when they get dumped like the way the older ones were dumped.

I think most new investor that comes into the market or new to the cryptocurrency space only follow news about these new ones which is what they see the most, so all these old coins still need to do more in publicity because there are too many projects in the market and majority of them can easily be forgotten if they don’t constantly remind investors of their existence.

maybe yes and maybe not,,
sometimes a new altcoins project will be more than the old one, if the new project bring something new in features and technology, but sometimes a new project just a copy from the old project, and an altcoins that bring something new could replace an old project soon or later, but for altcoins thats only a copy from the old one will dead or dissapear my friend

In my opinion, the new altcoin project cannot take over, because they have not been tested at all. Moreover, many altcoin projects use the altcoin platform which is already popular and has been in great demand.

I did not see any new projects that already successfully done in this year but i saw many of new projects becoming scams and not profitable as always. And maybe some of new projects now can be take over the previous projects that we have seen before but it depends in the quality of the project that investors first seeing before making investments.

of course it's possible, where you see some altcoin can move quickly on the market. look at the BNB first, and now do you think that growth happened very quickly. even already passed some of the assets that were first on the market. I think there are some new potential coins that will surprise this year.

There will always be a displacement of older weak projects by a newer strong one, recently there is a new project, known as Leo at number 13 on coinmarketcap have displaced a whole lot of coins. This shows that it does not matter how old a coin has been, when it do no longer meets certain expectations, it will be displaced by an newer stronger one.

Perhaps but I think most of the new altcoins features take some characteristics from the old ones. There's no way new altcoins projects will take over the lead probably not now.

i think they remain calm, and also a good to buy for those in their the same line. but taking over for them?! i think thats not the goal of a new project. those coins are relying in btc. so, they obeying the line. not overtaking, thats my own opinion mate.

When bitcoin lower or dump price impossible altcoin could be raised up and always keep lower price, we need to suppoet how ever bitcoin should be on higher price to make altcoin allow for raising up.

Not just old alts, even the new alts are bleeding red for the last couple of days almost 85% of my alts coins are in red I think it's mainly because of the BTC pump.

BTC pumps can influence altcoins as well and altcoins will not overtake btc prices when rising, so we must be right in choosing altcoins.

New coin will never take a lead of cryptocurrency market in the next bull market because new coin that mean a new platform without experience.
The lead is mayor coin who have a big chance to grow again like before.

It is happening already! Some new projects are doing very much good! Look at the Gamexchain or even the newer Matic or Harmony! These new projects are overcoming old good coin's rank day by day! Bittorent comes into top 50 already, next target is top 20! This is a positive sign though!

All alts price is down, but the question is !
will all of this new projects take the lead in the next bull run and leave behind good alts that have been in the market for several years ( for example STRAT , SYS , XEM  etc..  ).
For me it was depends on the project we are all know that all coin that was hype for now sometimes lead to having no value, unlike in the old coin they still have a value in times of up and down and still they are fighting with their project and continue to develop what else they can add to became it successful.

It is too early to draw conclusions about the new coins. Rising prices are based on investors' expectations. But it often happens that everything ends with these expectations.
As long as the new coins are not tested by time, I will only believe in old coins. Then new coins will mature :).

This is normal, because there are many projects that are very strong and that are tuned to a result that will work and grow rapidly. There are also many projects that are very strong and were not included in the cryptocurrency doing it now and their result will also be very good.

I doubt, it looks like the market is really saturated already and I haven't seen projects that are unique. Most of them are hype and then suddenly die down as investors and speculators make money out of it.

The only projects that are very successful right now are IEO based, but remember they are back up by exchanges, meaning it is also over hype and could go on the natural process of hype->die, imho.

Presently it is only bitcoin that is having this massive uptrend but when the altcoin season comes it is both new and existing altcoins that will benefit from the growth, especially existing altcoins because they already have a system and users in place to demand for the token.

projects that have good markets, strong communities, and good platform growth will be able to survive their rivals in the market. like an exchange platform, of course you know so many new exchanges, and they must be the best to stay with their community. or they will leave it.

No new project will take the lead. The period we're in now, we won't see such alt movement as 2017 only few string alts will survive this trend when alt season comes. New projects without a product or strong community will be washed away.

The new ones are just showing prospects which is normal for every new project. I don't ses new alts taking any lead rather, existing ones will show them the crypto terrain

And I really love the fact that 25% of gross revenue is distributed to PUX holders every Sunday at 12:00 GMT via smart contract ;) And of course, pukkamex is bringing absolutely new experience to all the traders. The new Altcoin is very difficult to take the position of an altcoin that has long existed, there is a possibility that if the developer has new ideas and new products and makes investors interested in their products, then the price will rise and make the altcoin price rise. this is what everyone and the old altcoins that are not developing will expect to reduce their prices so that a new project can take over the position of the old altcoin

In a situation like this what you say has a point, but not everything you think. that there is also a new altcoin that is very good and can shift the old altcoin, but it is not as much as it was in its heyday. with existing old altcoins, indeed we don't deny that they are also difficult to rise. but I'm sure now is the time for the altcoin to grow even though it is slowing down a bit.

It is reasonable to expect development on each project but a simple question should be answered about the taking a lead. If big projects have no intention to stop the growth then how to blame the new projects that gave up due to this reason.
Yeah, that's what free market is for, the new altcoins should compete with the older altcoins simply to create innovations. It doesn't make sense to prevent any altcoins with the same use case from emerging if it could create a more efficient and effective ways for its use case. Not to mention that between 10-25 top there are many of coins with similar use case like smart contract platform.

I think it's more likely to lead the altcoins to rise again than the new alts.

Altcoins belongs to the same market, most investors know about bitcoin only and therefore their first choice is bitcoin, especially the new one.
Investing in bitcoin is easy compared to altcoins since you just hold it and you don't worry on its future compared to altcoins where there's a lot of changes that might happen over time.

Altcoins party has not started yet but as bitcoin continues to pose more bullish, I would not be surprise if it will come very soon.

New altcoin can have a big potential to explode but that still hard to compete for the old coin which already has their own community and support the coin. But that is not impossible to the new coin to beat the old one, and if necessary, the team for the new coin will do something to make sure their coin will increase. But I do not think if the new altcoin project will take over the market.

For starters, it would be nice if volatility decreased in BTC. That is, it is necessary that Bitcoin be in consolidation. Just yesterday, the day before yesterday, BTC made crazy jumps. If within a few weeks there are no significant changes in prices of about 12K$, then the altcoins can start to grow well.

If you look at the screenshot of CoinMarketCap top projects in 2016, you will likely see the projects you have never heard about, so the new projects will be definitely replacing older ones.

Have these new projects looks promising or another project to scam? We can't deny that the market image been ruin by those newly existed project and it contributed a lot of doubts and losses to the people.
But of course, we can't easily judge for them and who knows that this is the project we're looking for a long time.

some new binance launchpad projects can sometimes get immediate market attention. it can just jump after updating some of their plans. if their platform is well developed I think the market and price will follow the progress made.

All alts price is down, but the question is !
will all of this new projects take the lead in the next bull run and leave behind good alts that have been in the market for several years ( for example STRAT , SYS , XEM  etc..  ).

everything is floating around and it's hard to say when the upswing will come. many people hope for it but normally it happens when nobody expects it.
before the altcoin ralley, the btc will still have to gain a lot. but this time has not yet come. to be honest, we would expect it next year 8)

Even we like generalizing everything inside this market our assumptions might not go accordingly, there's a lots of factors that will affect the market growth but it's mostly depends on how the team will work and how the supporters will going to take the move, investing and holding the coin till it will go high and bounce up to another level.

If the next altcoins season is going to repeat history then no altcoins will be left out ,either new or old all altcoins will favour from the bullish movement, but if the next altcoins season is going to be something we haven't seen before then only very good altcoins will favour from the bullrun ,won't matter if its new or old

I believe its almost impossible but i do think there is still a chance and i do believe there will be coins that are take the lead in terms of growth. I do recommend you to look at UBT, which are under Rank 500 but they do have a real project and already join partnership with DAML, i do believe coin such as ubt with a real project have a great chance to get into top 100 and maybe into top 10.

Altcoins should start their growth after Bitcoin correction, now is the time for him and therefore I think that you need to wait to see how the Altcoins go up
it's true what you say because investing with altcoin is a long-term investment in patience and confidence is capital in investing with altcoin and until now I still believe the coin will develop in its investment

as long as the older one has no future and it will be replaced by a new platform, because crypto is about how you can create a very useful product that can attract the investors. A new one will give a hope for those investors have lost their money on the old one or a new will try to take their chance too.

For sure it is possible that new projects are going to rule the market but not in this decade. Crypto currencies market was very unpredictable and people are likely to trust in old coins like ETH, BTC or LTC, so I think it would be very hard to compete with them.

According to my argument, even though it hasn't ended a good project and good coins but the altcoins that have been around for years will be difficult for them to stay because they have proven to work on the cryptocurrency market today, and there are still many profitable altcoins at the moment

One thing is certain in this space and it can't be argued; and that is, use case. The reason coins like Eth and BnB are always gaining the attention of the Public is owing to what they are offering in this space; great use case.
So to your question, all these new altcoins will only take the lead when it is evident they are offering something that will help both the crypto space and the world at large.

We should know that investors are now wise and most are getting involved with good coins not anyhow coin. So new projects will only take the lead when the team has proven that they are equal to the task. So any new altcoin with a good team as well as a good use case or working product will surly attract investors.

First not all altcoins are down, but since majority carries the vote I will tend to agree with you. Back what you asked, altcoins that will take the lead will be ready to showcase they are capable of doing so. Lets use a coin like BNB for example, that coin has shown huge growth because of how the team is working tirelessly to ensure it is a valuable coin; that is to say that only altcoins like BNB will be able to lead in this bull run. Nevertheless, other might but will not be as the aforementioned.

Perhaps some of them. Also don't take seriously price fluctuations.
For instance Egretia rushed in top 20 with a growth 200x from bottom point, but it looks like pump and dump, I bet they don't have valuable product to bet top alts

I don't think so although there are some old altcoins that may not the light of the day in time to come but that is not a garantee that all other new altcoin/project will take over the existing altcoins from now on Bro.

At least if any new altcoins will take the lead, then it must have dome the extra ordinary. They cannot all take the position, but the one standing out will rise above others, but being at the top is mostly a difficult task to attain.
We need projects that will bring great revolution, reformation and bring about meaningful contribution.

With each passing day, investors keeps getting wiser and more careful thus being cautious of the coin they invest in, so as to limit their losses; this in my own opinion is the reason most altcoins are struggling to grow while others are getting the right attention.
To answer your question, new altcoins will come to limelight or will take the lead when it is evident they have something to contribute, although a handful is already living up to expectations, majority are yet to.

I agree with you mate good alts are remain and stay it as useful alts ven some new alts are racing the old alts because the team behind is rich company have capability to aupport their project to pump up the price value.

maybe yes and maybe not, so far i've seen a new project that is able to continue to be strong in the market and become a strong competitor to old coins, so to take over leadership is not easy and nobody knows about the future, if they are able to finish every process well then maybe in the future there is something surprising about the new project

The reason those altcoins have been in the market for several years is that they are offering something unique and keeps updating it to meet up with their users need. On the other hand, most of these new altcoins are worthless, have no use case or anything backing them, only few are trying their best but even at that it will take quite a long time for them to replace most of the altcoins which have lasted for years.

Every new project that has something new to offer tales the lead. By this is mean that if there is a new project that solve a problem that was not solved by the previous one will of course attract customers and hence demand. Like IEO has huge potential and had been flawless as compared to ICO and this is why it is so much demanded in the market. Crypto follow the same rule.

I think there is a chance that some altcoins will be superior to the old altcoin, but I am sure that it will take a long time because investors must see a lot of partnerships with large companies or future project development by the developer team
Older coins too will not be left behind in the upcoming bull coin, but I feel new ones are the ones that will gain more increase because the market is seriously saturated with ICO, and it feels like they are playing the game of survival of the fittest, in which most of the old projects are really finding it so difficult to compete with the newer ones, and funny enough, most older coins have better concept than the newer projects.

The old coins that I am really certain of them shooting high are the ones that are within the top 50 on the coinmarketcap list, which you should look at when considering altcoins investment.I’m still abit skeptical about the other ones that are below the top 50 because new coins are already taking the led presently and gaining attention of new investors.

The new project takes a long time to become a leader. Altcoin like ethereum takes time to become what it is now and I think that also applies to new projects. The new project will always be there and be a competitor for old coins but it depends on the team and the products

Its possible but I think its a long shot. There is no denying that there are new projects that looks very promising and it might take the lead in the near future but as an investor, I would rather put my money into something that are already been tested by time and has a good track record in the market like bitcoin and ethereum. Its better if you do both, invest to new and old crypto.

Oh wow.. Haven't heard of something similar being done before... Was it ever?

Yep, absolutely. And more to come down the roadmap. What I have noticed is that demand on VRA keeps growing. And I hope that the trend will remain so :)

Absolutely so! And in general, online video is the fastest growing medium. It is set to account for 82% of all consumer Internet traffic by 2021 and the market is worth $312 billion. And Veraisty is to take a segment, in my opinion

All alts price is down, but the question is !
will all of this new projects take the lead in the next bull run and leave behind good alts that have been in the market for several years ( for example STRAT , SYS , XEM  etc..  ).

All the altcoins that you have mentioned are solid ones that have the backing of strong and huge communities. By the time the altcoin bull run is happening, all these mentioned altcoins of yours will never be left behind. Although SYS is not within the top 100 unlike STRAT and XEM, which are readily available to the crypto world, it is definitely one of the most trusted within the altcoin world. Of more than 2000 altcoins, it is already a feat having reached even the top 200. And it is where SYS is ranked.

it seems that the new Altcoin project has a little difficulty developing the project, indeed it is influenced by many factors, one of which is investor interest and the complexity of developing the project

XEM, STRATS, SYS are all good projects. And they left behind good insights about their own project. All those projects you mentioned was a new project when it was launched. What do you think of other projects? I am a bounty hunter and I joined a lot of bounties, those new rising projects are conducting bounty. I witnessed a lot of new projects and I wouldn't judge a new rising project. They have the time to rise also and be one of the successful projects.

Yes I agree in this statement that you made. Today there is so many references that you would need when creating a token or a coin. Developing such token today is very hard because there are so many tokens existed in the market, it's nearly impossible to create a coin that doesn't have any similarity to other coins. I think in the future there will be token like ETH will be born and dominate again the market.

a new project does sometimes have a little difficulty in adapting to existing conditions. because many project conditions are now scam and sometimes investors doubt the new project. because the new project sometimes there is no clarity to progress well. so making a new project is indeed not easy.

The new altcoin at the moment seems to be having difficulty gaining new trust from investors because of several cases that have arisen before, but with sto and ieo it will not necessarily guarantee the success of a project, at least they have to open their company first, not just a plan

Personally, my opinion is that new projects will not be able to replace the top projects, because now mainly bad projects are being created

As for me, it is not really important whether it will take a lead now but the ability of the altcoin to maintain it's value or exceed other old altcoins that is already in the market. Now that project success is quite low in numbers, the altcoins that it carry should have the ability to exceed our expectations and because the project is legit, the team behind it do not stop to promote it even after it was launched.
