Hello,

Thanks for interest on CPUchain project.

We are using our own cpu friendly ( and gpu-asic resistant ) mining algorithm called CPUpower.

It is a variation of well known Yescrypt ( Yespower ) algorithm but they are not compatible with ours.

We aim to target our total supply about 105 million coins with 2 years halving schedule.

I will post the detailed information on blog after the successful launch  ;D

Coming soon - CPUchain - GPU resistant CPU mining coin with no premine, ico, devfee. Faster than Bitcoin or Litecoin, Bitcoin Cash! Low fees, more decentralization, sound money!

Yes it is GPU, ASIC resistant, less power, less electricity, less mining equipment, more decentralization, more eco-friendly, more democratic ecosystem without community enforcement ( you can always reflect your voice via laptop, mobile mining ), better than any GPU or ASIC mining coins!

GPU-resistant is fine, but ASIC-resistant is a nightmare.

We do both! Only CPU ( x86, arm platform ) mining! Impossible to build such GPU / FPGA / ASIC or specialized devices for CPUchain mining, commercial only! ;D

Mainnet going live in 24 hours, prepare yourself!

For better performance on multi-core processors, it's better to use physical cores.

Code:
  Windows affinity, Physical cores
Windows enumerates cores differently than linux.
                      Cores 0,2
                      0x5
                      Cores 0,2,4
                      0x15
                      Cores 0,2,4,6
                      0x55
                      Cores 0,2,4,6,8
                      0x155
                      Cores 0,2,4,6,8,10
                      0x555
                      Cores 0,2,4,6,8,10,12
                      0x1555
                      Cores 0,2,4,6,8,10,12,14

                      Cores 0,2,4,6,8,10,12,14,16,18,20

So what is the best pool to use at this moment? And what cpu miner is the best?

Stable pool - http://cpu-pool.com/  (autoexchange, without registration, 1% fee, min payout 0.5 CPU)

Code:
cpuminer -a cpupower -o stratum+tcp://cpu-pool.com:63388 -u WALLET_ADDRESS

Best miner for cpupower algo - https://github.com/cpu-pool/cpuminer-opt-cpupower/releases

For better performance on multi-core processors, it's better to use physical cores. (use affinity)

sample CPU 12 threads and 6 cores
Code:
cpuminer.exe -a cpupower -o stratum+tcp://cpu-pool.com:63388 -u WALLET_ADDRESS -t 6 --cpu-affinity=0x555

Easy cpuppower GUI miner - https://github.com/yentencoin/ytn-gui-cpuminer/releases/

p.s. If you have questions, ask. We will help.

This is a side effect of the "automation" of the antivirus, because miners can be used by attackers for background mining of cryptocurrencies. You will have to turn off the antivirus "at your own risk" and add a trusted miner (for example, downloaded from github) to exceptions.

No thanks I have a lot of programs that drip and they do not have such problems. If you allow the antivirus to skip this program can work so I'll dig up will simply disappear. When you fix this then it will be possible to dig

Can you give a GPU mining software?

As far as I remember, you are not able to mine it because this project is GPU-resistant and ASIC-resistant. You are only able to mine it using your CPU

Coinname                 : CPUchain - CPU
PoW Mining Algorithm: yespower / 'cpupower' with N = 2048, r = 32 and perslen = 73
Block time                : 60 seconds
Block reward/halving : 50 / every 2 years
Total supply              : 105.000.000
Premine/dev fee        : 0
PoW Period               : ~40 years (note, very low emission by then)

anybody here is mining this coin with their mobile?

Anyone could help with the cpuminer config? Currently I have to run 2 instance of cpuminer just to get the cpu to max out at 100%.
I've played around setting the -t 48 and cpu affinity for 48 core and it maxed out at 50% cpu. So far -t 96 with dual instance runs at 100% cpu.
Thanks

My rig specs:

Windows Server 2016
Intel Xeon E7-4807 @1.87GHz
8 sockets
48 core
96 logical processors

Took a look at this pool, there are people mining with over 300kH/s ! I can't think of a rig where this hashrate could happen with bare x86 power and SSE2, so are you guys from CPUchain are really confident there is a GPU-resistance?

Oh and by the way, I am a network admin at my firm, with permission to run our PC's at night for mining.  I cannot disable Defender because these are not "rigs" - they get used during the day and are exposed to the web so threats still need to be averted.

Thanks

Question.  On the first page this shows as minable by ARM processors.  I have several Raspberry Pi's laying around (3 b+ and also several 4's) and decided to give this a test.  The only link posted for a linux based miner for this is here: https://github.com/cpu-pool/cpuminer-opt-cpupower/releases/download/v1.0/Cpuminer-opt-cpupower-linux64.tar.gz (https://github.com/cpu-pool/cpuminer-opt-cpupower/releases/download/v1.0/Cpuminer-opt-cpupower-linux64.tar.gz)

Which that works great on my Linux Mint FX-8350 system.   However this does not work on any of the ARM processors as the miner is setup for x86 processors only.  Is there another miner that is dedicated to ARM chips?   I'm currently using the Pi 3 b+ as a pihole server and one of my Pi 4's as a controller for a couple of ASIC machines.  cpu wise both are just practically sitting there so wouldn't mind testing them out on this.

Thanks

I'm afraid there's quite a few people able to answer to your question, it's a bit too techy. Please post this on the official Discord channel. Hope someone will help you to sort things out.

CPU mining seem to be capitalizing the crypto space right now. That's a good way of making a fare distribution of cryptos as most of us can not afford high performance gpus. I am looking for a way to use my phone to help in the mining industry. Hoping that you twist things to make my hopes come true 😊

Which miner and CPU are you using? Which pool?
Try cpuminer-opt for Windows, works fine for me.

Thats just telling you what the current blockheight is and what the current network difficulty is .. some times u see stratum diff aswell thats determined by pool .

just stats , nothing going wrong

True that  .. Cpuchain one of the few projects that allow arm chips to hash on android ,with decent return.
A couple chinese huawei P20 earns more cpu then the older intel i5  but even the older intel i5 can get the job done easily .

Isn't there a pre-compiled 32bit version to the windows miner ? , if not , gitclone entry  to compile it ourselves?

Greets

We are also looking for translators and website designers, community moderators, organizers, miners, exchanges, and lot more!

This looks pretty interesting. I even set one of my (older) PC's to help with the hashrate. I can also spare a couple of hours per week. Just shoot me a PM if you're still looking for some help, please.

I am mining 338.1576879 CPU$/day.

Setup:

i7-8700k 6 core 12 thread
  using only 6 thread
  981-1053 H/s

2 laptops with 2 cores each
  142-258 H/s each laptop

old tower computer with 2 cores
  156-161 H/s

Pool:
  Cryptorrency (closest to me)

Miner:
  Cpuminer-opt-microbitcoin-win64
Miner is flag by windows as virus, I restore the miner by going in to the security section and selecting restore. Miner won't work if this is not selected.

This is the only coin that I'm mining with the cpu.

How do I generate a receive address on the wallet?
In the same way as you can do it in Bitcoin Core wallet:
Code:
Welcome to the CPUchain Core RPC console.
Use up and down arrows to navigate history, and Ctrl-L to clear screen.
Type help for an overview of available commands.
For more information on using this console type help-console.

WARNING: Scammers have been active, telling users to type commands here, stealing their wallet contents. Do not use this console without fully understanding the ramifications of a command.

Executing command using "" wallet

getnewaddress "" bech32
cpu1qdm8970s4c05mrc9velwg20nm0l8hpv02dwfh0g
dumpprivkey cpu1qdm8970s4c05mrc9velwg20nm0l8hpv02dwfh0g
L2F4ZSAWE8UxB2mCBtRytU5FRwFaGYMBahJHLNVpCo4gab8rB9hZ
In this example, L2F4ZSAWE8UxB2mCBtRytU5FRwFaGYMBahJHLNVpCo4gab8rB9hZ is your private key, you should keep it secret and cpu1qdm8970s4c05mrc9velwg20nm0l8hpv02dwfh0g is your public key you can use for mining or receiving payments. Instead of bech32 you can of course use any other type of wallet available in Bitcoin; they just cloned the Core and adjusted it to this new coin.

Quote
Hello, how would one solo mine this coin, please?
Code:
generatetoaddress 2 cpu1qdm8970s4c05mrc9velwg20nm0l8hpv02dwfh0g 10
In the above example you try to mine two blocks using ten tries. Of course, it is not enough and you should increase these numbers, because mining single block can take a whole day using a typical computer. That is why many people are joining pools, but such command will allow solo mining if you want do it that way, just adjust these numbers to your mining power.

Is developer still active?
Last time I saw minkcrypto in the end of November 2019 and latest commits on GitHub has this date. But it does not really matter. The coin is created and the community will decide what will happen. In Bitcoin, Satoshi is inactive, but the coin is still developed and used by many people. Whether coin is valuable or not, it is your personal decision. Some people (including me) are still mining and I think it is worth trying, even for testing purposes if it becomes low value coin in the future.

https://i.imgur.com/JfIplxW.png

Click Receive tab and click "Request Payment" button, new wallet address will be generated for you :)

Hello, where can i download the blockchain/bootstrap for the CPUchain Core wallet, it is 31 weeks behind and it is taking forever to download through the wallet.

Please give the wallet some time to sync block headers, since the block headers are composed with yespower, it may be slower than SHA256D algorithm

Please test....
1. Got "txn-mempool-conflict (code 18)" when sending coins to cpu1qvu8kc6uvncpvwrhmz7vzdxtm5g6c2u7zyv2edg. If someone gets some coins and someone else also wants to get some coins, the second player have to wait as long as the first player's transaction will get at least one confirmation. If it is in mempool for more than five minutes, everyone will have to wait.
2. It is possible to get some coins in a bit shorter time than 5 minutes (transactions ebcaa3ebf49c420427f4bac03aa0d2079fc7574286e20609653b2ed62074b8c3 and 4c56ede5ba9ca883a258690d187970ecbe13bb019962a5352f9ea3b92fb8be2d). It is also possible to get "Coins are not ripe yet" message even if nobody received any coins in the last five minutes (because of transactions stuck in mempool mentioned above).
3. Users are probably identified by IP addresses, cookies or something similar. So it is possible to use Tor, get new circuit for every request, and get coins every five minutes, locking faucet for everyone else.
4. There is no captcha, so it is possible to implement some bot for getting funds and run it over Tor the way I described it above.
5. Distributed amounts are smaller than I can solo mine in the same time. Mining on a virtual machine connected to Tor can give me about one block per day. It means 50 coins per 24 hours, so about 2 coins per hour. Here I can get about 0.001 coins per hour playing honestly or about 10 times more when changing IP and clearing cookies every 5 or 6 minutes. So solo mining is more than 200 times more profitable than using this faucet even if someone is cheating and using it alone. That is why some users may wonder why they should use such faucet when they can just connect to some pool or solo mine much more coins. Also, you are paying 10% transaction fee, which seems quite high. Typical mining pools take something around 1% and now mempool is almost empty, so you can easily pay 1 minktoshi per byte and have your transaction confirmed in the next block.

Edit:

Donate to the faucet: soon
Is it really needed? I sent some of my coins back to the faucet and available amount on your site increased above 500 coins, so it is possible to give donations right now, just by sending coins to the address they came from, in this case cpu1qf4hnx95tp4a5x7ssdxduneymptvvy9vu3wamu5.

Too much info for the outside world. It can be used to attack this site, because the attacker will now know much more than it should (it does not apply if you want to make it open source, but "copyright - soon" suggest not publishing the code). If you want to handle it correctly, you should display some message like "invalid type of address".

Edit: Wow! It is possible to send faucet coins to faucet address, for example in tx 901f5b585440f5a097f6dc04139b8b62f1dd4a36425d5e7230f9c063fc04f5a3.

Edit: I do not know is it correct, but "Last tx" field will show any last transaction that is connected to faucet, not only transactions when faucet's address is an input. For example it showed me 84a2d372f154009944159313501dca6a08ab4b697c20567322bce178ec82d99f.

Edit: I wondered if this faucet will use coins sent to address it uses for giving them. And it can throw an exception when one of these outputs will contain less than 0.0011 coins (it can be easily triggered by sending coins from faucet to faucet, in this case output will always be less because of fees).

Thanks so much for such a detailed test.

1. Yes. If the transaction was not processed, you will have to wait.

2. We are working on it. Thanks.

3. Faucet - not for income. It is more created for testing, so that everyone who is new to the crypto world can try to get a few coins in the wallet.

4. No captcha. There will be other methods of struggle, this is interesting. We also want to make a distribution of coins per retweets.

5. The transfer fee will be fixed, but the amount of remuneration will automatically increase if there are a lot of coins on the balance. In developing.

I did some more testing and get similar exception again. Using lower fees is not enough. I can still send some dust amount below 0.00001000 and the faucet will try to use them. Someone can even send 0.00000001 to cpu1qf4hnx95tp4a5x7ssdxduneymptvvy9vu3wamu5 when solo mining, because miners can move amounts below relay fee and create any non-standard transactions they want. The problem exists because the faucet can use some dust coins sent to it.

You can mine CPUchain at autoexchange mining pool Zergpool.com (http://Zergpool.com) at 0.5% fee. Please use following commands for different mining options

Option 1 Auto coin switch mining by profitability within algorithm with autoexchange to specified coin wallet(BTC in example below)
Code:
  -o stratum+tcp://cpupower.mine.zergpool.com:4250 -u <YOURBTCWALLET> -p c=BTC

Option 2 Direct coin mining with payout to coin wallet
Code:
  -o stratum+tcp://cpupower.mine.zergpool.com:4250 -u <YOURCPUWALLET> -p c=CPU,mc=CPU

Option 3 Direct coin mining with autoexchange to specified coin wallet(BTC in example below)
Code:
  -o stratum+tcp://cpupower.mine.zergpool.com:4250 -u <YOURBTCWALLET> -p c=BTC,mc=CPU

Please note mc stands for mining coin symbol, c stand for payout coin symbol

Autoexchange to BTC, LTC, DASH, BCH, DOGE or any other currency we mine
Happy mining,
 cheers pinpin

We've added CPUchain to our multi-pool @ http://BlockMasters.co (http://BlockMasters.co)! Only 0.25% Fee's!

Choose your payout style.  We pay out in this coin, BTC, LTC, and any coin we currently have listed on the pool!  Also choose from our USA, Europe, or Asia stratum servers!

Example Config is Below for CPUchain Pay:
Code:
-a cpupower -o stratum+tcp://blockmasters.co:4250 -u  -p c=CPU

To mine only this coin use mc=CPU.  You can also only mine this coin and get paid in another coin by using c=BTC,mc=CPU as your password.
Code:
-a cpupower -o stratum+tcp://blockmasters.co:4250 -u 1JFx3fE462vMsTeYkNK5yvdWeg2wpmxvBD -p c=CPU,mc=CPU

Example Config Below to mine CPUchain & convert into BTC
Code:
-a cpupower -o stratum+tcp://blockmasters.co:4250 -u 1JFx3fE462vMsTeYkNK5yvdWeg2wpmxvBD -p c=BTC

To mine our Europe server use eu.blockmasters.co, to mine our Asia stratum use as.blockmasters.co .

We also allow party & solo mining!  Please add m=SOLO or m=PARTY.partypassword to your password in your config file!

Hi all,

I'm pleased to pre-announce my first big project, after 6 months of hard work: exchaltge.com

Exchaltge will be an altcoin exchange focused on small cryptocoin communities, and we are offering some faucets, claimable every 12 hours and based on the random number generator of one coin that will be tradeable on the exchange.

Markets will be opened on 6th January, and we will offer 10-12 markets. But for the moment, we are finishing the development of the withdraw automated system, and we have already opened the wallet with 3 cryptocurrencies (STLX , SUGAR and CPU) that have a faucet available and a low minimum of withdraw to be able to test the system.

You are all invited to register and try the faucets: https://exchaltge.com

For any comment, I'll be here!

Best regards!

can developer/s please do more to promote this ... time to market the shirt out of this coin....post more on FB,twitter,Youtube and all other social media.... do this all the time ... do this everyday!

if you have a great product and don't market it....you just working for noting and theirs a a lot of competition in altcoins.

this from a miners point of view...

I rent out CPUcHain hashing power from miningrigrentals from cpu's left over from gpu mining.

if you rent lots of hashing power you can mine and HODL to your private address without using any exchanges, some people prefer to do this...its more private & safer until we can see this listed on a major exchange.

I'm a fan,,, but a big critic too

1)mobile phone android apk wallet...is horribly slow once you get it going ...google blocks you from downloading the file... have to manually copy file over to mobile from pc or use tor browser app to get past google blocking download direct to our phone.

2) So I decided  to try to CPU-core wallet for PC....but I  carn't see how to transfer my wallet I got from the Android APK wallet (no options to create/open a wallet with existing seed letters)

Please can you instruct on my to transfer wallet from mobile device to CPU-core wallet

3)website still has 2019 date on it(very unprofessional) https://cpuchain.org/ (A  website regularly updated will most definably have a positive effect on the market cap)

4)downloading the app to my phone was quite a mission and this should be on play by now...(the app is buggy and freezes alot)

If you want people useing CPU as currency ...the app should fast and simple ...a good example is digibyte wallet

I follow this project, I have mined some coins.
But I see that there is no development, the tweeter is not updated, the wallet has been for 2 years without new releases.
What are the plans of the developers?
Will you be adding new Bitcoin Core features to your wallet?

Title: Mine Quark (QRK)
Post by: nuttynoah on October 13, 2021, 09:46:18 PM
Hello,

I am on the Quark (QRK) foundation and we are in the process of releasing the latest version of our wallet. It can be found here.
https://github.com/quark-project-evolution/quark/releases/tag/v0.10.7.5

Even though Quark is the 3rd most copied cryptocoin, Quark (the original) is PoW/PoS/Masternodes, quite unique in the crypto space.

Once mining, a link will appear on the front page of our bitcointalk page, all social media and our website.

We hope that Quark can be mined at your site soon and we look forward to working together.

Please don't hesitate to contact me for further information.

Best regards,

Hi,
We've added CPUchain (CPU) to http://zpool.ca/algo/cpupower. See below for connection details.

Fee only: 0.5% or less
BTC payouts are processed once a day for balances above 0.0015
Payouts for all other currencies are made automatically every 4 hours for balances above 0.05 and balances more than 0.0125 are included in one of the payouts each day.

- Sample configurations -
To mine cpupower and get paid in CPU:
Code:
-a cpupower -o stratum+tcp://cpupower.mine.zpool.ca:6240 -u CPU_ADDRESS -p c=CPU

Exchange to BTC:
Code:
-a cpupower -o stratum+tcp://cpupower.mine.zpool.ca:6240 -u BTC_ADDRESS -p c=BTC

All of our ports are NiceHash friendly, no need to specify any extra details

Need hashpower? zpools sister provides hash rental services: http://hashtap.ca/

There will be a raffle in the first week of the coming year, we will be giving away 600 CPUchain coins to anybody who creates an NFT with a slogan "Buy CPUchain and u ll get rich" then we will bombard existing auctions with that NFT until awareness starts goosing up real damn bad. Everyone buying an NFT will get a bunch of coins but the benefit from having people talk about this coin will be immense.

It is not a bad idea to attract users to this coin.
For this, it would be nice to release a new wallet release, provide liquidity on the exchanges.
The coin should not appear abandoned

No, there are only some nodes. More work is needed to change them into block explorers. Anyway, setting up something like mempool.space on CPUchain is not that easy, that's why they are not yet created.

Has anyone seen any news from the devs?
Website seems down and only wallet I could connect was the Core wallet, but syncing is superslow.

Feels a bit like whipping a dead horse unfortunately.

What working wallets are there now?
Only the Core after sync?

If anyone wants to sync this coin, which is a total disaster with either no conf file or regular conf settings, getpeerinfo, copy 1 peer ip/port, put in your conf file connect=ip:port and listen=0.
When synced up to tip, revert to normal settings (listen=1, server=1, daemon=1).

New partnerships are coming. Hang tight while I sort things with my deviant hand coz shit is gonna reverse like hell in the days to come. Can not be more specific on the deadline but ya know it depends on the conditions beyond my workflow. One thing that still perplexes me to the my inner molecular nature is how stupid should the OP guy be to think someone out there is ever gonna buy his project. This is the outright nuttery.

Clear copy 1/1/24 CPUchain folder: https://mega.nz/file/eKhB2ZDZ#35JIBLPjJI05qDTUJOwSzezYTCeaCewdF4ATohE6lcI
Place archive to folder c:\Users\%username%\AppData\Roaming\CPUchain\ and unzip. Not Bootstrap, replace current folders.
