Hi Guys new to this website.
Long story short, I remember Bitcoin in 2014 when I was at Uni but I thought it was only for deepweb but saw it on the news late 2017 then was so interested in crypto.
What do you guys think about BNB(Binance coin) do you guys think it can be the boss of altcoins?
Do you think it can overcome Bitcoin at some stage of time?

What do you guys think? Interested to know mix opinions about it.

BNB is an altcoins with great support from all part from binance as the big exchange
and this alt already surpass the past high, while most of crypto can't doing that for now

BNB has shown remarkable growth within a short time and it is maintaining it despite some corrections, which I would say it is a good thing. That notwithstanding, it does not mean it will lead in the league of altcoins. As a matter of fact, if that will happen, it Weill be a serious battle , but which I still feel might not be possible.

It's possible to see BNB to be the king of altcoins because it keeps on innovating and it has its own chain now where other projects are diverting to them now. Currently, it is ethereum that's king of the altcoins.

I think the BNB will be able to compete with Bitcoin because of its rapid development and certainly will be the boss of Altc. The BNB can cover all new coins in order to enter crypto. also when there is a decrease in BNB prices, the platform can still be used.
therefore I think this altc will be able to match the popularity of BTC.

There are so many blockchain solutions that offers an opportunity to create token on their platform. I am talking about smart contracts platforms such as Ethereum, Cardano, Tron, Stellar and many more. I am afraid that there are so many similiar platforms and in the future there is a high chance of some big reduction.

In my opinion, Binance is only Binance and it is the best exchange current. A good exchange is really bringing a lot of benefits to investors but it is not possible to overcome the BTC.
Binance's community is really good but it does not have such great power as BTC.
BTC was born before it and it is now being noticed by many big players in the market.
We can expect it to be in the top 3, that's absolutely possible. BNB's price will reach $ 50 easily if they can support potential projects such as Matic and Elrond in the future.

I do not think Binance coin will ever beat bitcoin. Bitcoin has become so popular as it is the first digital currency issued by Satoshi, who is still mysterious. In the following years, many coins serving technology of bitcoin have emerged. But none of them have been able to take bitcoin's place so far. I admit that BNB is a good coin and will beat popular other coins like ripple, EOS.

Did you say bnb is the boss of all altcoins? Bnb is a very good coin but its a centralized token and that doesnt mean I'm not holding either but we have better decentralized coins in crypto space ,don't get it twisted just because bnb token is gaining attention because of IEO on binance doesn't make it the king of altcoins

Boss of the altcoins? no it can not happen, can overcome bitcoin? nope, but BNB is a potential altcoin it is really good to hold for long term. If you have extra money there you can buy it now because this altcoin will mooning.

BNB is only the functional coin of the Binance Exchange. It is not easy to maintain the leading position of encrypted transactions for a long time. If one day the Binance Exchange goes wrong and goes bankrupt, then BNB will also be greatly affected. I always believe that BNB will not exceed BTC. BTC has been recognized by the market after its development. It is not easy to surpass it.

binance coins is one of the altcoins that has tremendous support both by investors and the crypto community, moreover their team is wellcome that other projects cannot do in crypto space. I am sure binary coins will experience great growth in the future.

Of course, BNB is a very good coin. But the price of this coin depends on the quality of the product provided. If the exchange can develop and the price of the coin will grow.

I think BNB is suspicious as it is central and one exchange runs it.

Also note how there are sudden price swings. I think those are the exchange owners selling so they can make real $$$.

I think there may be kings of altcoins. With such pumps everything is possible. Of course look at the station. While it looks promising. I have already invested a small amount in the BNB and I hope to grow.

BNB is one of top performance altcoin in this year, Since Binance introduce IEO on their platform. The price of BNB increase drastically because of this demand and also is already have own chain.
I'm sure someday BNB can reach $100 per coin, just wait and see...

BNB has a good shot at being the front runner of all altcoins and they are working hard to achieve that but for now it looks like its in a good spot already. Right now its in the 7th spot as of this message and if it goes up a slight bit more it can beat out eos and becomes the 6th but the first 5 coins has huge ones and bnb would need to increase more than 50% in order to reach top 5.

Long story short it would take some time, it is on its all time high as well so considering all time high on this time when other coins are dropping is already a marvelous achievement its difficult to make it go from 33 dollars to 50+ dollars. It may do that in the future, it may become the second coin as well, but all of that would have to take at least a year and probably even more.

Its no doubt that in the near future bnb token value will be sitting where ethereum value is today ,bnb token is worth investing in and it won't stop surprising for years to come

BNB is very potential if predicted as king alt but I think it is too naive even though in fact it might happen. at present there are no equivalent competitors in the market place so that BNB is very strong in developing its market prices. for many years ETH was very strong and difficult to BNB shift the stairs.

I do agree that binance is a great project and whole of its ecosystem is already a success but on the other hand i strongly disagree that it will grow larger than btc. I would go one step ahead and say that even comparing these two coins is not justified because of the different nature of the coins.

BNB Coins is a very promising coin which i think would increase way further in price than its normal value. If i had some of it i would definitely not sell at this time. Give it a year or two and that coin would be way over $100.

BNB is a great altcoin that has greater potentials to progress in the coming years. being a product of an exchange makes it valuable to hold and be rest assured to gain higher value on it with time. BNB is the future altcoin to watch out for.

These days we seem to notice BNB became so prominent of its wide coverage of demand in the binance market. It could be considered profitable now and then, but I think in the long term maybe 1-3 years the value of it might fall on back down. BNB is good coin but it is not doesn't meant will compate or even will overtake bitcoin in the side market volume or in the side of price itself. BNB has an exchange that has been known by most people on the crypto world even most of them that BNB exchange is one of the best exchange on this field so as we will see the BNB grow in the future and seems like BNB is worth to be use as investment place. However, I suggest if you don't have bitcoin in your wallet, you have to buy first it. Make bitcoin as the first choice when investing om crypto, bitcoin never threat you I suggest.

BNB is mooning right now mainly due to the binance connection and the rate at which IEOs on the binance launchpad always make multiple returns on investment in a very short time.
The future of BNB will have a lot to do with how many of those cryptocurrencies that did their IEO on binance actually succeeds.

BNB is going to comply with the regulators, they will not reach at this stage of success if they aren't.
Regulators will only regulate exchanges, and other services, and we cannot call them Bitcoin regulators as bitcoin cannot be regulated, we should refer to the entire market and it's appropriate to call it crypto regulation.

One of the thing I have noticed and that I like about BNB, is that it is a stable coin, but not like stability in the actual sense of it. For every resistant that is formed by BNB,it tries to maintain it. This is an indication that it has the ability to grow more, which I am still expecting.

BNB coin has only gained its popularity from the exchange that has created it Binance and it for that it did well compared to many other coins out there, sure that it is good to invest in for the time being but i really don't think that it will do well in the long term, and  even if it does it will never overtake bitcoin because it is only used for trading and you can't use it outside of that, so it is specific to a percentage of people who are always trading, but bitcoin is not it is for everyone.

BNB is just an altcoins.
I think you should compare it with altcoins instead.
Even if it will compete with the prominent altcoins, it cannot surpass them.

Never, just forget about that expectations Binance can never ever compete with Bitcoin. I am a fan of Binance exchange, and I really admire lots of work that they put into their business to make sure they continue to service their users smoothly, but with all the strategies they have, their line of business, or whatever product that they offer is not same as bitcoin function.

There can never be Binance without bitcoin, because bitcoin makes up more of the volumes you see people trade on these exchanges, so as far as I am concern, their boss for now and ever will still be bitcoin, take bitcoin out of them, and out of their system, you will see another weak version of Binance. Bitcoin has been the pole of most of these exchanges because that is where more of their money comes from, through the services they render to its community.

No one can predict exactly about cryptocurrency, but indeed Binance coin (BNB) has great achievements if we see it from the age of the coin. Binance coins for the time being continue to stay above the price of $ 30, there is a possibility of predictions for the next 2 years to reach $ 50 to $ 100. If you are talking about the BNB token, it will have a huge value in the future. We kept using this BNB in trading. Recently I saw how Eosbet works hard to get listed on Binance DEX. They have to move from EOS chain to a Binance Chain to get listed.
That is how you should do it to attract projects to come to your chain.

Why not? It can always be on top of all Altcoins. I can see some shed of light, I mean BNB has a great platform and aside from ETH, BNB is one of my favorite coin. I always trade BNB and I can prove that it is really worth trading and investing.


It may not. Most of the investors prefered Bitcoin than other coins like BNB. And we can't deny the fact that Bitcoin will always be the first and the king of all coins. It will not be overcome by some coins even in the future. That's my opinion.

If they continue their dominance on exchanges and can actually bring in new stuff instead of just collecting trading fee than there is a big chance they can sit on number 2 though. I remember long time ago something called namecoin was number two and it was useless and could be mined with bitcoin, than litecoin became number two and ripple and now ethereum, so why not binance be the next stage in the number twos going up?

I think it is a possibility, of course it can never pass bitcoin, that is out of question but just because it can't beat bitcoin doesn't mean it can't be number two, that spot changes hand time to time, not that frequently but it happens. Binance is big right now, it is huge but they are also trying to get even bigger than they are right now which is why I think number 2 is quite possible.

Same here. I got the same viewpoint about BNB. My analysis about BNB is based on its history. Think about its age in the crypto market right now and then think about the tremendous gain of value it has been able to gain. This is no doubt impressive. I think that if BNB was able to maintain such a huge market operation and, the coins will be demanded to infinite extent and this will push up the value.

Binance is a very good exchange to trade, but in my opinion, we actually do not need to see another giant like Bitman. Binance, actually, has been on its way to become the second Bitman, and might dominate the crypto space with its exchanges, dex and centralized one, and more things. I wish that in coming months, there will be more new exchanges and old ones  that can compete with Binance and decentralize crypto market more significantly.

That will be a chance for an altcoin to overtaken btc, but the altcoin has a chance to increase higher, and we might see competition from each altcoin to reach a better position. But for BNB, I think that could reach another higher price later because BNB is one of potential altcoin which can increase. If we are talking about growth in the dollar, it all depends on the market, how the market will grow. Binance token (BNB) is doing really well as the exchange keeps growing. I know by some years to come, it will be very expensive but for it to overcome Bitcoin, that seems impossible, Bitcoin is the King and will remain as such.

For BNB haters, do you realize that most exchanges have their OWN proprietary coin they utilize for fees? Did you realize that forex does this as well? Do you have ANY experience with financial institutions?

Do you know how cryptocurrency works? It operates with the same basic fundamental principles of every single coin produced. Every coin or token is utilized for a specific use case scenario. Some are tokens for their own marketplaces or exchanges or products or services. Some are used for faster monetary transactions. By stating BNB (which you know nothing about) is a pyramid is essentially stating that all currency is a pyramid scheme.

Are you one of those guys who whines about how everything on the internet is a pyramid scheme? Is internet marketing a pyramid scheme? Is it a scam? What exactly is the potential of Binance compared to many other coins by "holding it for a couple of years"? What if the bull run for altcoin market starts in the middle of those two years? Thinking and considering BNB in general as a coin is quite interesting compared to bitcoin. Bitcoin is not a product of any exchange but BNB is this set the two apart. If you believe in the future of Binance, that is a giant in crypto exchange, and more than that; you should believe in BNB.  :D. In my own view, the BNB token will not overtake Ethereum even when their project team or developer intensify their efforts in bring up new initiatives. Let's remember one thing that, the more they develop the more ETH team will work harder to bear them hands down. Although I will like to see BNB very close to ETH.

In my opinion the BNB is a smart coin, and the way BNB coin developers think also uses common sense. Binance has a high ability to increase the price of coins. For me, it has a chance but not that in big percentage due to the fact that as what have many says, Eth still very difficult to surpassed IMO. BNB is a good coin which in facta I can say that the exchange site seems to be secured, not totally 100% but many users are already experience its services. No coin would beat BTC even in the future, it's pretty evident that BTC is dominating the market with almost 65% dominant rate now.

BNB is Exchanger coin. It is designed to be a coin that can be used only on the exchanger that makes it (I mean Binance).
It would not be useful if you use it on another exchange except only for payment.
So I think it's so different if you compare bitcoin against BNB because both of them is a little bit different.

BNB can become the best altcoin out there but i don't think it can beat bitcoin anytime soon maybe in the future. BNB will increase in price in the long run because of the continues IEO and the DEX which is getting popular cause lots of projects are getting traded there with BNB pair.

BNB is an altcoin boss? BNB has got great potentials and great volume and being a product of such a great exchange makes BNB a great altcoin to consider. Investing into BNB for long term profit in the future is key and a great decision to make. BNB will moon in the few years to come and investing into it is very significant.

and that will give us the actual chart does the IEO trend still happen or not.
Remember binance was giving so many updates and you should consider that as a part of the update too not only IEO.

I have heard the issue (I forget. When I heard it) that BNB will surpass ETH as altcoin boss. I don't know whether it's true or not. But based on what I have seen, so many IEOs have succeeded in binance, and the price of BNB has always gone up every time a new project was announced, maybe it will happen. But to overtake Bitcoin? I don't think that will ever happen.

First off, welcome to the forum.  I'm sure you'll find it interesting to say the least, and there is a lot of great information and conversation to be had here.  And I can relate to hearing about bitcoin well before I really got into it, and I only wish I'd bought some earlier.

BNB as a coin is pretty OK if you ask me, though I don't own any right now.  One of the positive things it has going for it is its link to Binance (obviously), so I think as long as Binance does OK BNB will do all right as well.  But I've seen any number of exchanges bite the dust over the years, and none of them were ever really expected to either go out of business, get hacked to death, or pull an exit scam.  I guess what I'm getting at is that you never know.  Binance seems to be one of the more legitimate exchanges, but things could go wrong and that might affect the popularity of BNB.

Binance did survive a major hack, so that ought to give people confidence, but again nothing is a sure thing.

It is not worth it to compare BNB and BTC because they are different. BNB is a token for an exchange to maximize the potential of the exchange and the discounts that comes with it. BNB will become the biggest token or altcoin on its race but I don't think that it will surpass at least ETH because ETH have a wider range of usage compare to BNB.

It's quite laughable when I hear people give so much credence to bnb which is at its best an exchange coin. Solely for the purpose of carrying out transactions on binance exchange. It would interest you to know that every exchange has its season of might and binance is on her great years. I remember bittrex and poloniex were one time the best cryptocurrency exchange.
