Hello, all ..
Today I see Bitcoin experiencing a price decline of up to $ 10,075, do you think it's now a good time to invest?
please advise from Bitcoiners, thank you.

Most people i read are saying btc needs to go down to 8k and then the eventual bounce back. Right now i'm just investing in alts and trading there waiting on the big btc drop.

My advice is to wait more if you only want BTC, if you want to invest for the time go to SwitchDex.ag and buy some ESH.. They are pulling a bunch of work recently and the price is steady going up, highly recommend it. Plus ESH gives you dividends in ether just for holding the token.

Some other tokens are AGI, TRAC, LINK

You'll have to make up your own mind. If anyone here knew where btc was going, well, then they'd all be super-rich.

Plus side, it's not at ATH levels, so room for profit. Downside is, well, the coin certainly could go down from here.

If unsure, just diversify a little, some in btc, some in top alts.

Honestly, no one knows when is the right time to invest on bitcoin. If everyone knew which time was the best, then everyone would have already been rich (or not. Since everyone knows about the "right" time, they might end up altering the event) by now. The price hasn't weaken. It is just struggling to break the $12,000 USD wall. There is a high chance this might happen. Just follow your intuition. If you think it is the right time to invest, then invest.

Well, in my own opinion declining bitcoin $ 1,075 is not a good start to investing. Much better to wait if in case the value of bitcoin down below $9000 which i think is a minimum value were the bitcoin successively pump up to $13K. Just have a little patience and analyzed the chart were is best to time to invest.

So far, the price of BTC is still stable at $11,087.44 and it is considered still minus from the previous price, around -3.94%.
But looking at the chart, the weekend may be the right time for the coin price to increase although only a small increase. And here, You can have a chance to buy the Bitcoin at this lower price and sell them when the higher price of course.

Yes, go ahead apply the logic of 'buy low / sell high'. If you find the price now sort of cheap, spend some of your spare bucks and start buying bitcoin. Initially, every time can be the right time to buy Bitcoin if we know the right moment and ways to make profits on it. However, it may be difficult because nobody knows about the next move of BTC. Drops in price like this is pretty normal for bitcoin.
You will regularly see it pump that much too.
What you should look at is over the last couple weeks, everytime btc went below 10K, it bounced back up again.
Which means that we are looking at a new low of around 10k.

So anytime it approaches that would be a good time to buy.
Be careful to always buy when it dips and not when it pumps.
Even if you feel like you are going to miss out, just wait be patient.
Supply and demand will always rule and the price will drop.

With the present price of bitcoin its only good for those who have the cash to buy bitcoin ,for me I can't buy bitcoin at 10k I'd rather buy other coins because bitcoin is still unpredictable ,one can buy at 10k and the price might start to fall which will be a total lose

As you know, altcoins depend on the dynamics of prices for BTC. When Bitcoin are in consolidation, the altcoins can start their bull game. Now BTC is in consolidation. It's time to look for good altcoins. Therefore, this topic may well be in the Altcoin section.

Weakening I dont see it now in fact Bitcoin was retained its $10000-$11000+ dollars level so its not weakening. Let the correction happen after it was done im sure it will return to the previous highs and another record will be attained so keep calm and continue to invest as long as you can afford it.

Last month Bitcoin reached 14,200 $ and then dropped and now it costs 11,300 $.  If you have capital  it is good to invest now because bitcoin will definitely reach 14,000 $ again even if you hold until the end of the year I predict bitcoin can reach 25,000-30,000 $.  Like at the end of 2017 where bitcoin rise very high many times compared to mid 2017.

Bitcoin might reaccumulate in the range between $11,000 and $12,000 before rocketting again. However, the most important point is no one knows how long the reaccumulation phase will last. Maybe it might last for weeks, or for months, and bitcoin might only rocket again at the end of this year. When price drop occurs is the perfect time to buy coins. Bitcoin is an accidental correction but it does not happen long. Now the price is slowly back up and I guess the trade gives more profit. Some altcoins have potential and I focus more on altcoins above.

Before investing, you must have a laid down strategy and a particular amount of income you wish to put into the investment.

It is still in bullish stage. What you will have to do is to wait for the dump price down to $8k and then buy bitcoin. After corrections it will gonnay pump high so wait for the bearish trend to come until the market will go down. It is better if you use some indicators for you to be sure if you'd gonna buy btc at a lower price

That would be a long waiting game. Worst case it could never happen again. Dont wait but buy inn on set time spans and start hoarding.

A friend of mine wanted to invest on Bitcoin but I have told him not now because I thought the market will fall down to $7k for the bottom, but merely looking at the entire market now my assumption look bad because the price of Bitcoin is not going down as expected. When bitcoin falling down it is a good time to buy. Dont think too much. Dont miss the opportunity. Buy bitcoin when the price is go down because bitcoin will go up quickly. And when bitcoin go up it will go up very high and drastically. And you can get much profit from increase in bitcoin.

That depends on what the market does from now on, you are suggesting to buy bitcoin now for a price that has only been maintained for a few days so that is definitely a risky strategy, the perfect moment to buy was when bitcoin was below 4k and maintained that price for months, however your strategy could work if this bitcoin bull run continues but for what I can see the indicators are showing an equilibrium between the bulls and the bears which explains why when bitcoin goes up and tries to reach a new high the bears can take it down to its previous levels with relative ease.

When you think you can be earning a profit in next days or months maybe you can go with your decision. But you have to take it deeper when the price is down, either it will be fall more or it will be higher.

I think you can call it a dip, retracement and healthy pullback, but not weaken.  ;D. This kind of dip is really taken advantage of casual investors and even big whales to increase the number of their coins in their wallet. Not only OP but i think everyone has already tried to take the deep but the problem we don't know about how long the deep will be. but for bitcoin there will always be a little recovery after a huge plunged on its price. this already touched the deep based on 1 week chart of bitcoin.

There is no better time really to invest in bitcoin, as long as you don't sell in panic mode. The future of bitcoin is cant be disputed as it will take a good amount of share from the global finance. It will grow more when the housing price will collapse in Oz n other markets. People will go into bitcoin more once it will take whole mainstream adoptance. So its better to buy now rather than wait for a heavy correction in price.

I hope you were able to buy then and you are still holding or have sold when bitcoin recover to $13,116. Bitcoin is a become comfortable above $11,000 for some days now and it is still in the best conditions for the year. Wednesday was bad for bitcoin but since yesterday it is like in a correction now and very soon we would start to see  another really. I hope you were able to buy on that price. $10,075 might not come back at all. I am even thinking of buying at $11,600 right now. The red has just gone and the green has taken its place once again. It is now goes back to $11600 and been staying in that level until now. If it ca'n break the next major resistance, it may go to $10k in the next few days. Many investors are still wishing that someday bitcoin may slide again to $7k level so they can be able to buy it again but if the bitcoin momentum continues, there is no chance that bitcoin may go go down again to that price level. Bitcoin movement is quite significant from a few months ago to staying at 10k
I don't think the decline will be too plunging and even the growth won't last until the price stays in the range of 10k or 11k. I have seen and monitored the same market pattern in the past few months. and this can be beneficial if you have the knowledge and experience for short trading.

In my calculation, Bitcoin might fluctuate in the range from $9,000 to $11,000 in the coming 3 months before starting its next growth. I could be wrong, but I believe in my own prediction, and will stick with it. The good thing I want to point out here is bitcoin price will be stable in next 3 months, which will create perfect condition for altcoins to rise.

I think this is not a good time to buy Bitcoin. Its price is now declining and will continue to decline until the end of July. Its price has risen too high over the past time and alts have not grown accordingly, obviously this is bull trap.

there is a good speculation going on that this recent bitcoin price drop was because of the large scale dumping that was going on among the big altcoins. for example in the past couple of days that bitcoin had its drop we saw the big altcoins like ethereum and ripple and a bunch of others get dumped hard. that money that is fleeing the market is causing a lot of problems for bitcoin price and that is why we had that small drop in bitcoin,

$10,075 is already cheap. It could actually go cheaper than this. I am not hoping but it is not impossible especially right now when the price is already at $10,200. But, surely a price near $10,000 is a buying price. It has just went down from $14,000 very recently. And it could go back anytime from now. The market is generally bullish. Much anticipation about bakkt and halving are in the air. There is no reason it could go much lower than that in the coming months.

Considering that we were only a couple of weeks ago almost at 14k,,, absolutely even today it is cheap. I am not hoping for impossibly cheap prices either,,, I think I like where we are at now, but I actually do not mind this whole year below 10k as well. 20k would really tempt me to sell before target, because I happen also to need the money.

Bakkt has started its user testing yesterday if I'm not mistaken, but we haven't seen the effect because afterall this is just UAT. Wait till the service go live or at least given the approval and I'm sure the price will shoot up again.

It is also very profitable to invest in a coin Spectrecoin (XSPEC)  the price has not fallen, it is stable.

Invest in crypto is always considered a risky thing where we will be benefited if we have patience and there may have a huge chance of losing for wrong investment in wrong platform. By the way, Bitcoin is now in weaken thread and it will be more weak again I hope so. But there may have a huge chance of pumping after getting a crypto news like Libra project and some news may come in near future. Huobi token is great to hold too, but I don’t see them increasing up to half of Binance token, watch Binance carefully, you will see that Binance exchange alone would not have been able to push Binance token that high, look at the history of Binance and see where they were coming from, you will see that they did not increase up to  that before they started the IEO project, so the IEO and many other projects that they have released to the public is what accumulated and gave birth to that result you are seeing, but if huobi is still depending on ordinary exchange alone with the little hype that they have, I don’t think they will really make head ways, they might have a good value, but would never be as much as that of Binance, but one can still hold it for future.

You have the right to determine where your money will be invested. whether for Bitcoin or little part for another Altcoin.

The Bitcoin price is not weaken but it is the backward step before the tiger jump over the hunt. So, you can invest now if you are looking for the longer period investment. If you are a short term investor then exit in between $11,000. Maybe the Bitcoin price further come to down at $5000.

This thread was written on July 05 and now the price of bitcoin is down around $ 9650, if you want better investment, wait for the end of July and keep track of market movements and if the price of bitcoin falls below $ 9000 I think it's the right time for investment.

Well it only proves that bitcoin is very unstable, we have seen the price goes down below $10k again, as the support is broken. So again, it is at a discount and a very good time to enter again.

There are a lot of speculation that it can go down to $7k, but I think at the current price it is also a good opportunity to buy and if ever the price goes to $7k-$8k then buy more.

I have a different view on the current Bitcoin market, the market patterns always repeat itself. After touching the $9400 price BTC made a recovery attack but it will not be enough for tracking the orders of the other market traders. Next month price will want to visit above the $15000

Yea correct time to invest BTC but you have to wait for the finish of technical correction with the target of 8500 and 7500. Of course, this is a possibility. You can also use dollar-cost average strategy.

I think you should wait a little more because some FUD happens in a series of events. The current FUD series is the Trump tweet, US crackdowns on exchanges and the Libra coin senate hearing. Yes, yesterday the price has met $9,900 but it has pumped so quick that it's near to $10,300 but it's always stopping there. I think before seeing it go on $10,300 it would be after the Bakkt launching. We don't know what are the possibilities and things that can happen once it's already there.

Maybe what is the hardest thing about it is how we decide it is dip of the coin. Dip means lowest price of a coin before it is bumped. For some people, buy in a dip usually need very deep analysis and not simple as buy in low price.

I think the value of bitcoin will not go down any more and it will spike high maybe after the end of this month but we are not sure yet if that will happen and were still hoping is the prediction will come true.

Buying the dip by portions, setting up buy orders on the way down, is probably the safest approach. There is no way to guess whether a current dip is the best entry point or not, so might as well just go with a staggered approach and average it out.

I will not be so sure that the bull market has already started, I will not question at all that the recovery that we saw during the previous days was something amazing, and for a few moments the price of bitcoin almost reached 11,000 but since then the price has been going down and it has problems recovering all of the ground that it has lost, it is very likely that the price will continue at the current level for some time and then we will begin to see traders selling their coins and pushing the price down.
