When bitcoin price increasess, altcoin decreases. When bitcoin price decreases, altcoin decreases as well. In both case, altcoin suffers. When does altcoin price increases? Why market follow this behavior? Please share constructive reason behind this.

The bull run of 2017, which can be said to be the first actual price bubble saw many alternative currencies multiply in value at a higher rate than Bitcoin, and during the ensuing bear turn, majority of those altcoins dumped hard, and they were exposed for their lack of actual product value.
This drove majority of investors back to Bitcoin. Also the spike is also caused partly by operations in Bitcoin itself such as the halving, hence the current emphasis on Bitcoin.
Altcoins would rise, but I don't think at the rate it did the last time.

Altcoin average relies on a pump to increase its price, except that the market is bullish.

Most investor in cryptocurrencies are bitcoin investor, they are only choose altcoin as alternative investment. So, when bitcoin have a good news which is mean the sentiment market of bitcoin will be good as their prediction they will sell an investment in altcoin and move to bitcoin.  And I believe most investor cryptocurrency only put 20% from their capital to invest in altcoin and the rest 80% from their capital was spent in bitcoin.

Now I cannot predict when prices for altcoin may rise. It does not depend on the same BTC as before. Right now whether BTC increases or decreases, altcoin is still down. The altcoin season seems to be far away for us

I think that in order for the increase in altcoin prices to start, the bitcoin price must go up rapidly first and then the price should be stable for a while. Because i think, these sudden changes in bitcoin prices are causing investors to opt for Bitcoin. And this situation prevent the increase of altcoin prices.

What I analyze from the market is that there are always interested buyers of bitcoin even when the price drops again, so bitcoin always goes up and down prices in the market, different from the altcoin whose interest is uncertain and there are even altcoins who are not interested, so in the second the case you mentioned has no connection at all except all traders like all altcoins and bitcoins.

Not all market of altcoin following the movement price of bitcoin. Indeed most of altcoin price such as some altcoins in the top position tend to adhere bitcoin price movement, because it was being a culture and many investor will have a thinking as of you says. I don't know what happened or maybe this is just a market correction. but when bitcoin rises, the altcoin price also goes up but on the contrary now I see in the market the price of bitcoin decreases altcoin actually decreases, but I still believe that this market condition will not be forever like this, I am sure the market will recover soon and the price of bitcoin and altcoin go up again.

Agreed. Other things that affect altcoin price (and are not connected with the bitcoin directly) are project development and project's activities. MVP's release, scam accusations, partnerships — the list of possible reasons is pretty big.

I often speculate on the token burning. Usually when token burns, it affects the price positively (in a short term ofc). I constantly monitoring some alts which are going to be burned to make ez profit. It's not the best strategy, but it works :) At the end of June I made 200% on TAN's burning, so the story is going to be repeated this month as well.

The price of either bitcoin or Altcoin is basically dependent on demand and supply, however, I learnt that few whales can also manipulate the marker price to get what they want.

You forget to take not too that when altcoins price starts increasing, bitcoin too remain stagnant. Anytime that bitcoin becomes dominant, it is the period where people pay attention to bitcoin more and everyone wants to take part in the profit, some outs in more fiat to trade at that period, and many people that does not have, sells some of their coin to buy bitcoin, so this make the value of altcoins decrease during the bull run of bitcoin.

But there will come a particular time too that bitcoin will stop increasing and remain static for a long period of time, this period is when investors starts taking money back into altcoins, and them we see some altcoins surging, this makes other investors to join out of fomo, and before you know it, altcoins too will also record a new all-time high.

if I think altcoim's price movement also depends on the position of the bitcoin price, if the price of bitcoin gives a pretty good price, I think the altcoin price will also follow the price movement of bitcoin.

we cannot know for sure when altcoin price will increase and for now the price of Bitcoin is increasing but the price of Altcoin is not increasing because people are focused on investing in Bitcoin, because for now BTC Domination is 64.2%. therefore altcoin price does not increase, but I am sure if investors start to investing in Altcoin, then the price of Altcoin will definitely increase very high (bull run), so you don't need to worry about investing in Altcoin and I suggest you not to panic sell (still hold), because I'm sure altcoin price will definitely increase.

Many investors still don't understand the pattern the market follows, altcoin price don't rise or falls because bitcoin price has risen or fallen. It  simple raises due to the interest coming from investor's hoping to diversify their investment for more profit. So in simple term, Altcoin price rising when bitcoin market dominance decreases. Note though the decrease of market dominance of bitcoin doesn't totally indicate the down thread of bitcoin price instead it meana investors are now diversifying that's putting their money somewhere else (altcoins).

The altcoin market is a very slow market and it is greatly influenced by Bitcoin. In as much that an increase in Bitcoin's price does not really automatically  affect that of the altcoin market does not specifically mean that Bitcoin has no influence on altcoins. The raise in altcoin market is very slow and the bitcoin influences altcoins in a smaller margin.

No one can know for sure when the price of bitcoin will rise.  all predictions are not 100% correct.  as long as bitcoin is not stable, altcoin prices might not be able to go up.

In my opinion, this idea of Bitcoin and altcoin disparity is not consistent. The market is volatile and the movement of altcoin and Bitcoin are dependent on the project or token in question and not a wholesome thing. Greed will move the altcoin markets again eventually. This long bear market will make people capitulate near the bottom to move their funds into BTC, when the vast majority of people have sold to BTC, you'll see altcoins start to perform again, the whales will buy all your bags at a 99% discount, and will again make hundreds, or even thousands of BTC in return.

Don't think we'll see a year like 2017 again anytime soon, but when the major altcoin projects starts to release their products, I have no doubt in my mind that we'll see some great movements again. The hype train seems to be long gone, people have lost confidence (for now) in the altcoin market, but greed will turn back, don't even worry about that.

I don't understand why everyone is blaming Bitcoin for their losses with altcoin. Let me be clear about it, if the altcoins are down, that is because people don't want to invest in these shitcoins. Altcoin traders go to buy the hidden gems which are not recognized by the whales. Pumped prices are the most critical times to enter the market, the bear market gives us an opportunity to buy the favorite coins for cheaper prices.  Later same traders sell their altcoin for BTC and wait for the uptrend on the BTC charts. Holders usually get rekt if they trade with the margin on Bitmex. Maybe the BTC halving will accelerate the process of altcoin season, regardless of the market reaction prices will keep repeating the cycle. A cycle of the altcoin season is unknown, the signs of the increased altcoin index should give the correct buy signals to the long term traders or investors.

I don't think it will be easy to know when altcoin price increases because as long as bitcoin price still up and down like today, that will be difficult for the altcoin to increase. Although some of the altcoins can grow, it doesn't mean that coin can increase higher and maybe the price will increase for 1x-2x and then back to the lower price again. I think that simply the price of Altcoin increases, is when Bitcoin is in its Bullish trend stage.

A lot of people, who were not even part of it have taken advantage of it to make some profit, which you can also do by mere analyzing trend. As for your question, I think that when bitcoin loses its throne in the market, altcoins will act independently of bitcoin movements. There is a time for it altcoin price will increase soon. Just be patience and wait for the time that bitcoin will recover the price.
Then after that if bitcoin have full recovery the altcoin will increases.

Have you been keeping an eye out on coinmarketcap? Almost everything is in the green right now. Altcoins are doing just fine and are increasing in price just as they should. I bought TRX for 178 just 2 days ago and now it's already up to over 220 satoshis. Now, it will probably dip back again and give me a chance to stock up on some more, but that's just a part of the volatile market.
