I think that simply the price of Altcoin increases, is when Bitcoin is in its Bullish trend stage.

The reason is that at the moment that Bitcoin begins to increase, at some point there is a setback or correction, and therefore at that time altcoin suffers a slight decline, but many Bitcoin investors know that they are in the Bullish trend phase and they buy Altcoins immediately, but against their BTC pair, (Alt / Btc), for the simple reason that it will continue to increase and they multiply their investment, because Alt is cheaper but as the trend continues to grow, it also increases, always respecting Alt / BTC.

l do agree, in any case, it depends on BTC movement, if BTC shows us only 69% of total marketcap, we can not expect  rise on the altcoins. According to my observations, the problem is with the whales. They are setting up for very strong price manipulations and they only focus on pushing the price of Bitcoin.
