why did you choose altcoin?

in my opinion like this.
because altcoin is an alternative coin other than bitcoin, other than that the price is cheap and can be affordable by anyone. In this cryptoqurrency market there are many altcoins, but not all of them have great potential for future investment.
and what we need to consider is how the team develops their project, if the team can develop the project well or according to the road map they tend to produce good results too.
and altcoin are potential, usually they have big users, their trading volume is always increasing and has also been registered in the crypto or CoinMarcetcap market.

what about your views?

I chose altcoin because altcoin has given me an advantage in terms of investment on one side the price is also relatively cheap, in contrast to bitcoin the price is expensive and I do not have bitcoin.

Do you guys realize you can buy fractions of a bitcoin right???

I chose altcoin becasue It follows the Bitcoin price trend and brings more than 10x profit once the market hits bullrun. Also, it is faster than BTC transaction, easy for tipping friends and family. It also brings earning opportunities by trading, staking and various incentive programs.

My altcoins portfolio are only good Coins, with solid fundamentals, I don't buy obscure coins
It's important to have diversity when comes to investments

Personally, I did not have enough transaction speed, very slowly Bitcoin sends funds.
I also tried altcoins to mine using the pos mining technology, since there is no desire to buy powerful video cards and asics.
I really liked smart contracts and the creation of tokens already on the finished blockchain like ethereum, neo, tron, waves, etc.
That's why I chose altcoins.

I didn't choose altcoins generally as most of them are full of shit and a waste of time and money. I choosed specific altcoin because bitcoin can't offer those utility these altcoin (blockchain) can offer. I never choose any altcoin presenting itself as a currency, we already have bitcoin for that purpose. I did choosed ethereum because of her blockchain utility purpose, they're so numerous to mention so I don't have to go into detail. Did choose Dash for it's Privacy purpose. (The list goes on and on). I never choose an altcoin just because it's cheap unless I'm only interested in trading them for more bitcoin.

Currently though, I have most of my funds on bitcoin as the rate at which it's market dominance is increasing, don't think it has any plans to give room for an altcoin season anytime soon, maybe after the halving event I might have reason to pick my altcoin bags again.

yes, an altcoins project will be good or not is depends from their team member,,
thats why before i choose an altcoin, i will learn about their team member deeply my friend  ;)
if the team look smart, good, and serious with their project, i will drop my money there for sure

Altcoin is an alternative to getting bitcoin at cheap prices, by buying or investing we can exchange bitcoin properly, that's why in my opinion we should invest in altcoin very well to make a profit, by looking at current market conditions, although sometimes I  also do not benefit because it is too emotional without too much reading information.

Yes you can by small amount of bitcoin which means that you can buy small decimals for bitcoin. You don't have to buy a whole bitcoin, this is the fear of others that wants to buy bitcoin. They thought that it requires you to buy whole bitcoin = 1BTC in order to have bitcoin.
But they haven't realized and understand that it's okay to buy even with smaller amounts like 0.01, 0.001, etc.

Some altcoins are good for day-trading, short term trades and scalping.

Their price behavior is a good opportunity to take advantage of their price volatility which can result in a decent profit in just a matter of a short period of time. Vice-versa, it can also lead to a loss in a matter of short time.


Bitcoin is also affordable for anyone. You don't need to entirely spend a $10,000 just to have a bitcoin. A fraction of it is enough.


Much better if we say, they have more whales.

my reason for choosing to invest in altcoin is because there are still many altcoin that have a low prices and have the opportunity to make the prices can increase very high, then in my opinion for now the price of Bitcoin is too expensive to be an investment, so that makes me prefer to investing in altcoin than bitcoin.

In as much as Bitcoin takes 50% of my portfolio, I've chosen some altcoins for long term. Firstly, I choose altcoins based on team performance, project development, products, updates and exchange listings. The major reason for my altcoin selection is based on team capability, project backings and development of project.

I were choosing altcoin because the cheap transaction fees compared with the bitcoin and the fluctuation of the coin, and remember the price of altcoin is cheap compared with bitcoin. What i can take is also about the usefulness of the altcoin blockchain like that is being used to developer the decentralized application that can be used by the users in the future

Well, of course altcoins in the first place are very affordable when it regards to top 100 in the coinmarketcap and has big potential for bigger profit we earned especially when market are getting into bullrun Just like bitcoin there some coins are suitable for long term investment which i do like most.

Definitely your right but it's depends of the people choices I know and I am one of them not choosing shitcoins as an investment, to be secured I hold more amount of bitcoin and ethereum as my investment and some of them are came from the top 10 coins that have potential to give profits in the future specially if the bitcoin back again into the moon.

Bitcoin was my maim choice since my first start in crypto, but to think of the importance of altcoins. The preference is there for its capability to obtain a higher price once market it reached a rising value. Thinking for long terms is really an assurance to survive even if bearish continues to grab price down.

There are certain altcoins that give meaningful profit. Most of the times, altcoins of such nature have got good deliverables. Their team are working tirelessly to give the best to the community.

If you mean stock shares, the stock shares are the less risky financial investment in the whole world after the Gold. Investing in the altcoin can't be compared to the traditional market share trading. Altcoin traders risk their balance for increasing the profit which regularly becomes a Bitcoin. Trading should be treated as a business, every business has it's ups or downs like the bear and bull trends in crypto markets.

bitcoin can be very profitable if we choose the right altcoin project with a clear framework and goals that can be achieved, as well as a solid team that can develop their projects. Altcoin that are successful today such as XLM, XRP, TRX and other top 10 CMC have the potential for the future. Even so it all depends on bitcoin, if the price of bitcoin tends to be stable then the price of altcoin will rise.

I choose altcoin because it has many bounties and much cheaper than bitcoin. Although not all altcoins are useful and profitable because altcoins has a lot of shitcoins also.

Really? Then tell me what is your opinion on Ethereum, Litecoin and any other great altcoins out there. They have been alive for like more than a year and still it's a choice for those who wants to invest some of their money to these altcoins. Saying "none of them" is just proving that you are not checking the market anymore

The highest profits i made from crypto investment is mainly from altcoins and i was aware of the last bullrun where many made tons of profits from altcoins,i believe altcoins will bring me the highest profit in the future

Altcoins traders are not involving with altcoins tradings as a altcoin lover, they become altcoin trader as a genuine trader and for earning some extra money as a trader by trading and exchange after main cryptocurrencies like btc eth.

Bitcoin is enough for a peer to peer transactions, a new coin coming should have some platform or services that the token would revolve around, without a platform, it will become a pump and dump coin, we have so many new tokens right now for payment or peer to peer we don't need more

I have my own reasons why I chose to use altcoin. at the moment, the price of bitcoin is really quite high, and the instability of the price makes me who has a small amount of bitcoin not really feel the influence of its development. because of that, I chose altcoin to be utilized, because in addition to the large potential, the price is also quite cheap to have in large numbers.

Exactly my friend, I also have the same thoughts as you, that we are here not only depend on bitcoin or altcoin, but with some coins that we think are worthy and profitable for investment, there are many altcoins out there that we need to reconsider because of me sure some of them have great potential and are worth the investment.

I choose altcoins because I needed to diversify my portfolio from holding or trading in bitcoin.

Even if I have a strong belief in bitcoin anything that's not this is an altcoin, so I really had no choice about this and other benefits that I found in alts that you won't get with btc.

Most of peoples follow back one thing: altcoins can give more multiplier then bitcoin.
Its true wee see many alt which give x10 in small period, but alts have more risks then btc, you can lose whole if face scam

Altcoin is one way to get bitcoin easily, because altcoin price increases cannot be predicted, it can be 10x the market price

i invested in altcoins because they always have higher ROI than bitcoin this is the main reason i chose altcoin as my main choice of investment but i dont exclude bitcoin because its way better

yes I also believe holding altcoin to me will also generate profits in a short time, with us using it in trading, because for me it's also a great way to save some altcoin by making a profit in trading now.

For me altcoins is for masses people who don't have a huge capital in this business industry of crypto world.
Through altcoins we can able to have bitcoin in the future once we sell it at high price. And also the volatility of altcoins

yes indeed what you say is true because the price of altcoin is affordable than bitcoin. even better if you have several altcoin and bitcoin. so you are not dependent on the income from altcoin you have, you can also have a great opportunity to have the advantage of bitcoin.

There are always chances for good projects to flourish and the project will yield good profits for investors. Some factors work behind the success of a project. Among them is a strong team, good, innovative and unique concept, technology, finance etc play a big role in it. So always take these in mind before investing in any project. 

The reasons why I choose altcoins are because:
1. The prices are sometimes more affordable'2. There are some altcoins with a great team, development, volume, and also a promising future.
3. Altcoins sometimes offer the token or coin for real product utility to be used in the real world.
4. They have lower fees of transaction and others.
I think that those are the most common reasons for mine. However, others may also have different criteria.

Yes, I agree with you. at a low price the benefits we get can be huge. it all depends on the coins we choose. therefore we must be smart in analyzing coins for the future and most importantly we must look at the coin team and also the concept going forward.

I choose altcoin to invest because I know that altcoin is a good coin following on bitcoin success. Also like a bitcoin it has a great future all we see the progress of altcoin and now it's market demand start to rise and the following good thing that happen is altcoin's price be rise again. It is also a fast moving and one of the top on the chart.

altcoin give me more profit than bitcoin and altcoin is tool to make more bitcoin, and some altcoin can give u daily profit from dividen or staking.

I choose altcoin because of lower transaction fees. I gamble and trade a lot, so I make transactions every day, I don`t like to pay high fees so I use altcoins. There is one more benefit from choosing an altcoin, it`s potential of the coin to rise in terms of price in the long run. Saving some altcoins on a side and waiting for that rise can turn to be a very profitable investment, some altcoins have a chance to rise x100 in the next couple years. Some altcoins have very low transaction fees and very fast transactions. Comparing that with some slower coins that cost more to send this is a very good thing, I use more altcoins in past years than bitcoin or some other top coin!

I chose altcoins for several reasons, reasons like it is relatively cheaper than bitcoin, can easily do a 100x in a bullish season, altcoins also have a low transaction fee when compared to bitcoin.

That's right. I agree with what you said, the reason many people choose altcoin to invest is because the price is cheap compared to bitcoin. But not all altcoin can give us profit, some can make us suffer losses if we make the wrong decision. So research is needed before deciding to invest in Altcoin. How the development of the coin and analysis of its movements to determine the right time to buy it.

I chose to invest in altcoins because I have the chance to get them at a price so low and to sell them high once the certain time comes. Projects that already have an actual user base and great partnerships (not just verbal) are the ones that I really trust to succeed and not just be a shitcoin in the market. So many things to consider when choosing an altcoin and risks are always present.

we choose altcoins because it can help a poor to rich in the fastest way (of course in case you choose a really good project with not only has high tech but also the team know how to do biz dev (pump their coin) ). I strongly believe that this is the main reason why all of us enter this crypto space.

there is evidence that they use and choose altcoin to get the benefits they want so far. Moreover, the current economic situation is increasing quite high besides. the reason they chose altcoin was because the altcoin value was higher and the development of altcoin was also increasing. so more and more people are certainly looking for altcoin.

I agree with you, if most people choose to invest in altcoin because altcoin prices are still very cheap and besides that the price of altcoin can also increase very high (increase can be more than 100%), so that it can provide a very big profit compared to investing in Bitcoin, because the price of Bitcoin has risen very high and too expensive to be used as an investment.

In my point view, I have some points which remain same with you. By the way, altcoins price isn't so high as Bitcoin. So it is easier to buy and it has its own roadmap for development and many plan for future. An event of any altcoins can increase it's demand and price both. So it is a huge chance to make more money with altcoins. When btc price high then accordingly altcoins price decrease in the same time. So it will be wise to buy some altcoins beside Bitcoin to make more money.

However, every invest is risky for us and if we invest less then we will make less loss if it happened accidently.

I choose altcoins only because they have the opportunity to grow in price tenfold. Agree, it’s not real that now Bitcoin could grow 10 times. That's why I and many people invest their money primarily in altcoins.

for me it's simple, because the price of altcoin tends to be cheaper than bitcoin, so many people including me buy altcoin. The benefits gained from altcoin can be greater than bitcoin. My choice of alternative coins is based on different reasons. As far as I am concerned, investing and trading with altcoins is more affordable and convenient for me. Majority of these altcoins come with cheap prices for investors to invest into compare to the price of bitcoin. As far as project development is concerned, I tried to research well on bounty campaign project before I invest into their coins. Altcoins are very large in number, hence one could choose which ever one is affordable and profitable. I have benefited so immensely from investing into altcoins and am still presently investing into them. 

THis is a very simple and childish reasoning because every profit from every investment relies on percents. You invest 100 dollars a coin goes up 10% you gain 10 dollars. It doesn't matter if the coin is cheap or expensive as long as you can buy a fraction for your 100 dollars.

Whatever happens you will still earn 10% and you can put that into bitcoin worth 10 thousand per coin or some shitcoin worth 1 dollar per coin. Going altcoins because the cost of 1 coin is low is stupid.

if you don't choose altcoin, where do you want to add the bitcoin amount to? while bitcoin prices go up and down. if the price of bitcoin falls then we must maintain the fiat value that we invest in, by trading it with altcoin.
