That is a good question. We have developed proprietary software which will take care 95% of all registrations. The approval/disapproval process will go fast. The rest of the difficult scenarios will be taken care of our support stuff, who can speak Russian and Ukrainian.

Yes, Crimea is politically unstable at the moment. Their economy is a mess. I hope Crimeans will appreciate free coins in such tough times...
By the way Putin has signed the document few hours ago, which says that Crimea is independent country now. Here is a link to Russian news

The English translation will be on CNN in a day or two, I guess.
So, Crimea might have its own currency after all :)

I have paid coingen 2 days ago. Still got nothing. I have sent emails to them with no reply. Be aware - you can't get a refund with Bitcoin transactions.

Well , there you have it , the true face of a dev :)

I estimate that our system can handle 2 million records (Crimea has 1.9 mln people) in less than one week timespan.

Yes, I was shopping around for some solution. But I have to tell you that the resulting solutions were not acceptable. Some coin generators didn't even bother changing the P2P ports, some didn't include the icons...
At the end of the day we had to assemble and change bitcoin/litecoin sources ourselves! We have even implemented the Gravity Well, so the extreme mining and then sudden luck of it won't freeze the network.

Btw, we are working on building Mac OS wallet and Android wallet. Android wallet is very exciting app - it will have some unique features, which you can't find in the existing wallets. I can't disclose the details now but it will be outstanding :)

1. All registration and coin distribution will be performed online.
2. There is no shooting... May be in Kiev, but it is the other country now... I know the Crimea area - there is a better gun control than in US.

Let the "dev" mine alone a few coins , isn't that how every developer that buys a coin from coingen hopes to make it big?

Russia is against cryptocurrencies..
Well, there is an interesting point regarding Bitcoins only. Technically there is no law saying people can't trade with crypto currencies in Russia. Russian central bank says they will monitor merchants closly if they see there are transactions involved converting FIAT currency into Bitcoins and vise versa. They don't like anonymous transactions. I have some friends in Russia who continue mining crypto money. They just forced to convert them into real money using foreign banks.
25% of total amount of coins will go to people of Crimea. The other 75% will be mined by the miners. Btw, only 1000 blocks were mined by miners since I made public announcement. It is 125'000 coins were distributed. The current difficulty is low - this is a time to start mining for sure.
We are working on Mac OS Wallet app. It will be released soon.

So , this no name coin with no community support , no exchange is going to be used by a worldwide telecom operator?
Even as a joke , this ain't funny at all.

I doubt anybody on this board is that stupid to believe such a lie.

I am not asking for you to believe. There is no harm in waiting for the project with merchant to be completed. Nobody is getting harmed in the process anyway... Besides, haters will hate no matter what other people say :)
Btw, I looked at your casino. Looks like a good idea to implement brand new Crimeacoin.  Are you afraid of competition? I've heard it is tough business ;)

The name is not bad, but the question is who made this coin? Is the person a person from Crimea or not. How can you make a coin when you don't live in Crimea. I know a lot of people from Crimea, and i was thinking to create a similar coin...
