Dogecoin is a popular coin loved by all. But it has an infinite supply that hurts its price for long term. When the day comes where the price of doge rises to yield a hefty profit, other coins would too rise to the similar position. So I don't think Dogecoin is worth the risk as an investor for long term. Dogecoin still could be a coin of choice for day traders.

doge is indeed a coin that is widely used by people regardless of the amount, I think it will still surprise investors. cheap prices make everyone can buy it and invest in it I will wait for a doge pump like 2017

Well doge is a good coin to invest  not so much volatile in terms of price. But do not expect high return ,but the good thing is you will not lost that big unlike to those newly created project right now you can lost all your money by investing with thier project.

Dogecoin is my alternate altcoin to keep my crypto asset from bearish market except USDT. I like this coin because its not so volatile like the other coin. Investing into dogecoin can easy to make it profit 50% without analyst needed. But it just force you to be patient.

I'm trading it sometimes, you can still earn having doge thru day trading, but for long term it may not, it can still pump but not that high the other coins can since they have a more used in life and benefits while dogecoin is merely used as tipping or a meme coin. I can't tell for certain, but if we were to go back to 2014-2015 where dogecoin received a lot of hype due to it promoting a NASCAR driver Josh Wise, I would say it is pretty worth it, considering that the price of 1 doge by then almost tripled, from 39 sats/doge to 110 sats/doge. Right now it doesn't seem to get a lot of traction considering that it hasn't broken the 50 sats range for quite some time, and it effectively sat on to where it is since there are no more news nor projects that it is receiving currently on its community.

I think dogecoin is not the right choice to invest because there are still many altcoins that have more potential compared to dogecoin. I use dogecoin only when sending crypto to my friends because fee is cheap and the transaction is fast for me

If you have a lot of funds, just invest in doge coins. Maybe you can make a target want to sell at what price after you finish buying. But my advice is better you just trade with doge because doge prices are pretty stable to be traded on the market. Go to binance and try to monitor daily trading activities for the doge

I'm not so sure about DOGE coins (meme coins or just jokes) but what amazes me is that they are still needed every day, a reason this coin might be cheap for transaction costs and fast. but yesterday I was a little disappointed with this coin, where bitcoin and altcoin are experiencing (bull), DOGE coins have almost no movement, only a slight increase. Unlike before where bitcoin experienced (bear) dogecoin, the price dropped even more. I don't really understand the problem with this meme coin analysis, but at the moment the dominant price is more normal.

Dogecoin have no hard cap and is inflationary. It will continue to inflate virtually forever, so unlike Bitcoin, Doge is an extremely large and uncapped supply. When supply is unlimited and demand does not keep up prices is expected to fall. also the community is tiny and insignificant. There is no development and hasn't been a new wallet release in 3 years. It used to be #4 in market cap. Now it is #29.

In crypto you have to innovate continuously just to stay relevant. Dogecoin didn't. And remember that price being low is never an indicator for a good investment. Invest in things that have value, have low risk and high potential for the future, ideally when they are undervalued. If you want to invest I would suggest Ethereum, Vechain and Nano. Both are the best in their use cases and have dedicated developers and communities.

I feel like dogecoin served its purpose and it should not be "invested" anymore. Sure, you could have some play money of sorts, there are still gambling with dogecoin or you could buy to give for a good cause (there are still charities with dogecoin) all around dogecoin is great to spend on doge related stuff but when it comes to investing to make money it is not a long term good idea if you ask me. That is not to mean you can't buy doge now and get rich in a month, it is still possible, that is not something we can predict and assume yet I feel like buying doge today and being rich 10 years later doesn't look that plausible right now. I think Dogecoin is just a coin to make a profit and there are not too many benefits when investing because the coin's development team has stopped working and no longer updates new information for investors. cool  . thanks for that wonderful info buddy  . im aware the rumors about amazon adding btc as one of thier payment methods but im not aware that amazon have added a support for dogecoin  . doge coin is indeed good for paying purposes but doge coin is also one of the favored coins for gamblers or on the gambling site  . its worth to invest or buy doge if you are going to use it imediately but i dont think its  a good investment asset to kept for hodling .

Doge is a nice coin and for as long as the project will continue with its promotion and development, I guess it will remain to be one of the coins that a lot of crypto users would prefer, especially in tipping purposes. Its billions of total supply had served their purpose well enough. I appreciate how the team behind the project kept it alive and made it to the top despite its initial plan which was just a meme coin. I cannot consider long term HODLing of DOGE the best choice though. HODL until profit is made.

Recently I have not seen any strong growth from this currency. However, this is a good currency, after many years of development, it has confirmed its position in the market, standing firm after many times of market decline.

Doge should not be considered as shitcoins, though its price is not showing any improvement unlike any other altcoins, doge stays as it is since the first month of this year, it is still considered as good crypto. Agree with you, that dogecoin is a normal coin like other coins. Looks like @OP just wants to bring a boost about dogecoin because a few days ago the dogecoin chart was pretty good after Cross MA50 & 100. In my opinion, if you really have to invest in a coin then I prefer bitcoin over dogecoin, because it's useless if the dogecoin chart is good but the bitcoin chart is bad.

I am not a fan of Dogecoin too, although this one is what I am eyeing way back 2 years ago, I did hold millions of it thinking and hoping it will be at least $0.5-$1  but ended up realizing that it won't happen, but still Doge is one of the legit altcoins that still standing and still working to be part of top coins too, so no wonder, a lot of people are holding it.

well, even though doge prices are in the low and stable category, but this coin is very worth holding, especially if you really want to try for long term investment. it is not wrong to invest in dogecoin because after all this coin has good potential as well, dogecoin enthusiasts are very large in some industries such as the crypto gambling industry and other industries because there are many advantages that dogecoin has such as low costs etc.

Dogecoin should not be the first priority for sure but the coin holds some potential in producing profits. I like the percentage at which its changes its value. It holds good volatility providing an opportunity to make nice profits. Still it lacks a lot. The best is to invest in bitcoin or at least hold some of it in case of diversification. I would recommend going with litecoin and xrp because ethereum is a way too slow.

Dogecoin has always been popular, even tho many people think of it as just a joke coin.  It's supporters are a pretty tight knit community, which counts for a lot in crypto.

But as an investment?  I don't think so.  There's no limit to the number of coins being created, although they'll tell you that inflation decreases over time, which is true.  So in my opinion there's too much supply, and that's only going to get worse as time goes on, and that isn't a good thing for any coin's price. 

Doge is a great gambling coin and a lot of gamblers use it for that, which is more than can be said for many other coins.  As long as its price stays around 25 sats or so, I'm sure doge holders will be happy with that.  I don't expect a major increase in the short or long term, tho.

But somehow it managed to build a large and loyal user community, and they have been successful in keeping the coin afloat. But we need to see for how long they can sustain this coin, without any sort of real-world application. At some point, it is going to collapse and when that happens the DOGE fanboys will be running for cover.

I also have great confidence in investing in this coin because Doge is always held by a lot of investors and this coin will usually increase in price at the beginning of the year so I believe this is the best opportunity to buy. It was not worth to invest in dogecoin as the supply is infinite.. For a long and short term im still will be stay away from this type of coin even tough they has a strong community behind of this coin. As others have stated, doge is a decent coin if you want to ride the waves... and know when to get in and out. I'm not so sure I'd call this 'investing' however. I wouldn't suggest anyone put a large amount into doge and plan on sitting on it ... expecting it to outpace btc longterm. But if anyone wants to throw a small amount into it, and sell during one of its pumps, that's fine. Problem of course is determining where the buy-in and sell points are...
